Can we stop acting like any other deaths and resurrections in the DC universe are equivalent to Jason Todd’s and they ‘didn’t have drama’ so neither should he?
Disregarding the fact that those people probably should be effected–it’s just bad writing that they aren’t/weren’t–the vast majority of them were dead for like five minutes, a week tops.
Jason was dead for at least 6 months, at which point he crawled out of his fucking grave, and then was catatonic for nearly a year and after being shoved in healing acid he found out literally the one person in his entire life who had seemed to care about him and his needs, appeared to have moved on completely as if he didn’t matter. Sure, that wasn’t quite the case but he was manipulated to think it was. And as soon as they found out he was alive, the whole world pretty much wished he’d stayed dead because he’d been changed by his trauma. So how the fuck is he supposed to move on when none of his family can or will look him in the eye and tell him they are glad he’s alive? They won’t even do the bare minimum to help him heal.
So it’s not the same. And if you can find anyone who has a situation even close to Jason’s that doesn’t still have drama then I’m just calling bullshit on the writers.

Attention Outlaw fans!!!
Now hear me out, I’m a tremendous BlueHood fan who has a great passion for both the characters of Kara Danvers and Jason Todd. I have noticed there is a lack of continuous bluehood content and would like to write a biweekly alternate universe set 4 years after the death of Roy Harper in the and the disbanding of the second outlaws team. The main story would focus on a 26 year-old Jason Todd, who has been running the iceberg lounge for the past 6 years and is simultaneous protecting Gotham as its new main protector, the Red Hood. Kara Danver, now age 25, is a fulfledged reporter at the daily planet and the new protector of metropolis. The story will be driven by Jason’s discovery of Roy Harper’s possible child, Lian Harper. I hope to soon start writing, just hoping get ideas from others to get this started. And ye, I do plan on including memebers of the Batfamily, the Superfamily, and the Arrowfamily. Maybe we can even work with some artist for a few panels!!!!
