IMPORTANT: Please be wary of the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages “🎣Twilight Shitposting🍝”. As you can see by the screenshots provided, they have no problem stealing posts from smaller accounts and passing them off as their own to their 600k+ followers. If you've ever posted a Twilight related meme or joke that's received more than 50 notes on here, this page has probably stolen it and reposted it without credit. Just by having a quick scroll of their Twitter page, I see at least 10 posts that were made by people I follow on here with no credit whatsoever, all written as if they came up with them themselves. If you really feel that you must repost somebody else’s post, why not just post a screenshot that includes the original posters URL or username? That way, nobody is appearing to take credit for somebody else’s post and everyone can clearly see where the post originated from. I didn’t want to have to make this post, but I’ve been ignored after trying to resolve this with the admins of the groups. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be done other than make others within the fandom aware. Please reblog.

Don’t steal other people’s original content with the intention of passing it off as your own. Giving credit is easy.

ok y’all but I just realized something:

Bella grew up struggling to make sure they had money for bills and food. She was excited to have a used truck. She saved money in a sock under her mattress. She did not grow up rich. And here are the Cullens - these outrageously rich people and you’re telling me she lets it slide that they do things without thinking of the consequences? No one who grows up struggling can look at the rich and not feel angry at the privilege they have. You’re telling me because she meets a cute guy she is fine with the fact his family throws away groceries and buys them monthly to “keep up appearances”? That she’d say fuck it and not be pissed by them having multiple expensive cars and properties? That they don’t have to worry about getting into a college because they could bribe there way into it? Suddenly she’s one of 1% and she doesn’t care about her old life? That’s some really shitty character development.

its frightening to think that although you may be hearing of them less, the scale of death in gaza has remained unrelenting, unceasing. im scared and saddened at how it has almost become gauche to list the ways in which palestinians are dying, that at some point everyone came to a collective fatigue of posting and seeing dead bodies and stopped sharing them, even though the images are still coming out daily, but it's almost as though no one knows what to do with them anymore.

things i've seen today, january 3rd 2024:

a child in gaza city running from snipers praying under his breath as he passes a road full of corpses, including children

two journalists running through a different road as people lie dying around them. they both stop to ask the dying men (one very elderly) to say their last prayers, but they are too far gone

a girl crushed underneath the rubble in the refugee camp of jabaliya, her ponytail swinging down

a father and his small daughter both killed by a sniper shot to the head lying on a road

some of these people were killed today. some were killed earlier, in the north, but have only just been shared due to communication blackouts. israel's genocide of palestinians continues.

Okay, now I want fanfic where Carlisle is still 23, but the rest of the Cullens are all ‘older’ than him. By like, a lot.  Like Edward still looks up to Carlisle as a father figure, but Edward was turned when he was 45.  Emmett’s still a wise-ass prankster but he’s like 60. But since Carlisle is actually 350+, he’s still the ‘old man’ despite looking like he just graduated college.

everyone always wants to talk about how 104 year old edward fell in love with 17 year old bella, which is (arguably) not how it works depending on how you interpret the vampires’ mental age, but nobody ever wants to talk about how carlisle literally did actually know esme when she was younger. like he knew her as a girl and then later when he saved her she was like Omg That One Hot Doctor ??? objectively SO much worse.
