Issue fixed!

literally turned out to just be a question of reinstalling the OS and restoring my laptop to factory settings :)

anyone know how to resolve this issue with my surface Pro 8? keeps displaying this error message on startup.

apparently it's due to some sort of system file issue, but unsure as to how to factory reset it so I can reinstall windows :(

i hate banks so much istg.

just tried to increase my arranged student overdraft, only to find out that because i don't have much information on file for my credit score, i'm not eligible.

this is despite my bank advertising to students that they offer an interest-free arranged overdraft on all student accounts, increasing based on how far you have progressed at university.

also, in order to build credit, you need to either take out a loan with your bank, or take out a credit card, but in order to qualify for either of those, you already need to have a good credit score.

so yeah, fuck banks, fuck credit scores, and fuck capitalism.

okay so just watched the last of the 60th anniversary doctor who episodes and holy shit.

ncuti is gonna be so fucking good istg, and the show is in such good hands now considering both russel t davies AND murray gold have come back as showrunner and composer for doctor who respectively.

only downside is that we have to wait till xmas day to see the first episode of ncuti's era lmao.

heyo people, thought i'd update yall on my situation.

so, i managed to scrape together enough money to pay my rent and bills, so thats something :)

unfortunately tho, i've run out of food in the house, and after paying rent and bills, i'm yet again broke, so i need around £20 to get enough food to last till i go home for winter break next week.

i rly hate having to do this again, but i'm gonna link my PayPal here, hopefully someone will help out <3

Look. I’m gonna be honest. I’ve had a shit day. My day started with waking up to find out I tore a muscle ✨in my sleep✨, then had to go to court for a traffic ticket that a cop gave me because he followed me from the store where he overheard me talking ACAB with the clerk, couldn’t pay my ticket and am going to be facing those fees and whatnot, I can’t pay my electric, and on top of all that, my vape died this morning. Vapes at my corner mart are $16.99 USD. I normally wouldn’t ask for money for a vice, but that’s 17$ that would mean I wouldn’t be going through withdrawals while I’m dealing with everything else.
