So yesterday this happened. I felt, given a lot of the stuff you see on #IG promoting fitness these days that this was at least worthy of a post. To me, It's not about #selfie or #abs, or #image, or flashing your ass in front of someone, it's just about #turningup, #workinghard and appreciating the #hardwork. @backbayboxingboston hit 1001 votes on #classpass yesterday. I remember the day I had only 1 vote on #classpass, not because I've a good memory, but because it's less than two years ago. #Thanks to everyone who has supported me and this #gym and helped it grow, to everyone who has come, looked for me, wrote a review, and found me, even when we had no street signs, like a #speakeasygym. We're not located where we are now to be fancy. People often say to me now, 'You're gyms so fancy, you're on #newburystreet'. I roll my eyes to that one, we all walk the same streets. It's just brick and mortar to me. The Park used to be home once, we trained there to save rent, but we needed heavy bags racks so I moved indoors. Ironically I've now decided I don't need the heavy bag racks to coach boxing, so we'll take one down and focus on what important!
