How would you describe the relationship between Batmom and the supersons since they are so close to her sons and Clark so close from her and Bruce? Does she consider the boys as her nephews?
YES ! I’d describe it as pretty tight, which often makes Damian jealous (mostly). Like she thinks Jon is the cutest little kid ever (if, of course, we’re not counting her own boys), and that he’s well behaved and have a good impact on Damian. She loves having him over, and he loves coming to Wayne manor mainly because he knows she’ll be there. They often watch movies all together, and bake their favorite cakes for it all together as well. Jon also very much appreciate the “bed time” not really existing. Like they go to bed whenever they want, and wake up whenever they want…Of course, Batmom made him promise to NOT tell his parents about this. Just like she made him promise to not tell them that she and Bruce often let the boys “play” in the Batcave…Thanks God Jon is able to fly, because it would have been awkward to tell his parents he died falling down one of the pits there…Ahem.
She thinks Conner needs more love and support and is very glad that it’s Tim’s best friend. She’s glad they’ll always be there for each others, as both of them need more attention really. Tim lived for a long time in the shadow of his brothers, and Conner…Well we know how Superman received Conner the first time. She tries to show them both her love, and oh yes she’s glad they’re friends. She scolded Clark more often than not on his behavior towards him, and along with Bruce, helped make Clark realize that the boy needed him. She also loves when she comes over, and he loves all the embarrassing stories she tells him about her sons (leverage for later haha), and how she never acknowledged the fact that he wasn’t a “real human” or anything of the like. He loves how she treats him like he’s genuinely part of the family, and she loves seeing him confuse about the most random things (like the coffee machine).
Overall, yes, she sees them as her nephews and often introduce them like so because it’s easier, and because she doesn’t like saying : “they’re my sons’ friends” because they’re much more than that. The Superfam and the Batfam will always be close to each others, no matter how much they can fight (eh, every family fights), and they all consider each others part of the same big family. Of course, they’ll never say that out loud haha.
PS BONUS : Diana Prince is the cool aunt that comes over sometimes, take all the kids with her to do stuffs, and when she brings them back home they’re overly excited and won’t shut up. Ok I’ll stop rambling now, sorry.
