.... Is maybe all you need to know. I will still write the follow up, probably for my own self. My hedonism requires it. There is depth and then, there is this feeling of, there is more here than meets the eyes. Little shimmering gems neatly placed under, between, amongst certain words, judiciously picked to be found upon later reminiscence of earlier chapters, that leave me wondering, toying around the infamous “what ifs”, and free fall trusting the author is weaving their vision of this complex, beautiful tapestry, that demands to exist, to cover, to stretch out. to be shared. to be admired. A plethora of delicious tropes (Found Family appreciator, sign up!), of simmering tension (I’ll take the slow burn directly into my veins, thank you) a true to life character who lives and thrives With and not despite the current capacities of their body (knowing trauma, seeing trauma, current happiness or future happiness not eliminating any suffering, suffering not precluding one self from experiencing happiness again, being allowed to love what one had, and love what one has now, and those things not needing to be at odds with each other, it’s -inhales- desperately needed lovely). I have as much ravenous curiosity for this venture as Ava does life, as Beatrice does Ava. As Ava does Bea.
