do you think you could make a guide for those of us who struggle with getting rid of old habits that stop us from becoming the best versions of ourselves (e.g. waking up late, having too much screen time, procrastinating, not studying, eating junk food, etc.) idk where to start because i have bad mental health issues and i feel like i'll just return to my old unhealthy lifestyle again. i give up way too easily and i think like that's my problem

guide to a new era of me and getting rid of bad habits ‎♡‧₊˚
get rid of bad habits ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
1. Identify bad habits
The first step to getting rid of bad habits is to identify them. Take the time to think about the habits that are holding you back from achieving your goals and negatively impacting your life.
2. Understand the reason for these habits
Try to understand why you have these bad habits. Are you stressed, bored or tired? Understanding the reason for these habits can help you find solutions to replace them with positive ones.
3. Set clear goals
Set clear, achievable goals to help you replace bad habits with positive ones. For example, if you usually wake up late, set a goal to wake up at a specific time each day.
4. Create an action plan
Create an action plan to help you reach your goals. For example, if you want to reduce the time you spend in front of a screen, set a time limit for using social media and video games each day.
5. Find alternatives
Find alternatives to bad habits. If you have a habit of procrastinating, try breaking tasks down into small steps to make them more manageable. If you have a habit of eating junk food, find healthy and tasty alternatives.
6. Create a Routine
Create a routine to help you replace bad habits with positive ones. For example, if you want to study more, create a regular study routine to help you stay motivated.
7. Avoid Triggers
Identify the triggers that cause you to adopt bad habits. Avoid these triggers as much as possible to help you get rid of these habits.
8. Find sources of motivation
Find sources of motivation to help you stay on track. Talk to friends or a life coach about your goals for support and encouragement.
9. Reward progress
Reward yourself for every step taken. For example, if you managed to wake up early for a week, give yourself a small reward to congratulate yourself.
10. Persevere
Getting rid of bad habits can be difficult and takes time. Be patient and persevere. If you are having difficulty, do not hesitate to seek help from a mental health professional or life coach.
By following these steps, you can get rid of your bad habits and adopt positive habits to improve your life.

Part 1: Improve your mental health
Taking care of your mental health is essential to becoming the best version of yourself. Practicing meditation, deep breathing, or other relaxing activities can help reduce stress and anxiety. It is also important to talk about your feelings with friends or mental health professionals if necessary.
Part 2: Find the motivation to change even when you're lazy
Motivation can be hard to come by, especially if you're lazy. A vision board can be a great motivational tool. Create a vision board with images that represent your goals and aspirations. Place it somewhere visible to remind you of your goals each day.
Part 3: Self-confidence and self-love
Self-confidence and self-love are key to becoming the best version of yourself. Learn to accept and love yourself as you are. Practice positive affirmations and surround yourself with positive, caring people.
Part 4: Learning New Skills
Learning new skills can help build self-confidence and improve quality of life. If you're on a budget, you can learn new skills for free on YouTube or online tutorial sites. Skills like drawing, dancing, knitting or cooking can be easily learned at home.

Weirdly Specific Things from Dreams
Okay, I was pondering this on the way home from work, so, which weirdly specific (or specifically weird) thing that tends to crop up my dreams have you also noticed in yours?

Okay, with the 2010’s era of cartoons now firmly in the rear view, I’m curious…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If I missed your favorite 2010’s cartoon, feel free to add them in the tags. If I get enough ‘what about X’ comments I’ll probably do a second poll with all of the write-in answers. Please just note that I’m talking about cartoons that started between 2010 and 2019 (and preferably ended before 2020, that's less mandatory but I want to prioritize cartoons that did all or at least the majority of their run during the New Tens), there’s a reason why ‘Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts’ or ‘The Owl House’ are not on the list.
