We don’t get to see Sapphire use her levitation abilities often. I like to think sometimes she just takes Ruby on a tour of the skies sometimes. Sometimes? Sometimes!

I wanted to make sure this was at least a full color drawing. After seeing confirmation of suspicions that Rebecca Sugar got a lot of executive pushback because of Ruby and Sapphire’s lesbian-presenting relationship, I simply had to at least give the pair a fair sendoff! I wish the show could have gone on for longer, but I’m ultimately glad Sugar fought to have these characters be unapologetically in love. 🔥❤️⚡️💜⚡️💙❄️

Hi, so on instagram someone (chunkytomato) put out a neato SU prompt for inktober. Never really done inktober before because committing to consecutive posting freaks me out lol, but SU is DEAD NOW so I might as well try and do it for a nice little send off. 💙

Here's the first piece, an experimental Garnet piece. I actually prefer more realistic styles but it takes so damn long since I'm inexperienced so I don't do it often for posting purposes. BUT I wanted to try my hand at a realistic Garnet head at least. Not every upcoming post is gonna be in this style and idk how far I'll get in the prompt but I mean here goes nothing.

So yeah these doodles contain spoilers from the upcoming artbook Steven Universe: End of an Era. A few image previews from Amazon show some juicy never before seen concept art. One screencap showed concept art of Rhodonite's former owner Morganite, as well as an uncolored sketch of Rhodonite's Ruby and Pearl component.

Needless to say I had to doodle them! The last image shows Sugar's original concept art. It's low-resolution because that's just how Amazon's site feature operates. If you like SU then consider supporting them one last time by ordering the artbook! Kinda sad it had to release now since money is so tight for a lot of people right now. Hope y'all are doing well.

It started earlier in the summer and is on a biweekly release schedule (every other week). The time frame starts out via the initial fight with Spinel and diverges from there. No major character swaps or personality changes, everyone is who they are in the canon timeline. But the events in the movie play out differently, to the point where it’s not really the movie anymore. This post is to share the compilation of teasers I’ve been posting on my personal instagram account (also asterite100, btw). I might start posting teasers here as well since I’m not uploading regularly here much (though that might change soon!) Page 8 is the latest release at this time of posting, but the image on the bottom right is from Page 9. A small preview for those who stumble upon this post. 😗 My logic for not sharing these here was that my followers probably already know the comic exists, but also maybe I should post anyway just to get more eyeballs coming in from elsewhere. So yeah here ya go. I’ll be posting teasers here for when new pages come out.

HELLO WORLD sorry I’m so inactive on this account. I’ve been spending a lot of time elsewhere, mainly instagram, and on other projects. However I figured I’d import this thing I worked on the other day. Someone left a comment on Instagram suggesting a “How I Draw -X- Character” for Rose Quartz. Like I said in that post, I don’t feel quite ready to take on that task, BUT I did end up showcasing some details I like to incorporate when attempting to depict Rose’s hair. Of course, this is for Pink Diamond’s persona Rose Quartz, but you can take more liberties when making OCs for authentic Roses. I liked how it turned out. It’s less of a how-to and more of just some general tips. And obviously it’s to my personal taste.
