Binder woes

Damn.... I have to go out again *looks at binder* should i go out *looks at binder* i won't be able breathe hmmm... I also may get misgendered hmmm... but I should really shouldn't stay in again all day. Anyone else have these feels?

Had to repost sorry I made it too dark the first time. So i officially changed my name to Jamie Jordan Bridges which is a big step on my #transguy journey one of many to becoming happy i guess so glad that dead name has gone. I cant wait to get my first appointment with the GIC even if it does take a year goodbye baby face hello angular jaw hopefully. (at City of Sunderland)

I have now officially gotten my name changed my name to Jamie Jordan Bridges so glad to say my dead name is now officially dead unfortunately most of the members of my family excluding my beautiful sister try to resurrect this dead name. How I love having my own apartment so I can be myself fully in it feels like I can breathe. And to all those that are living with parents that aren't supportive they dont control who you are inside its healthier being true to yourself even privately because one day like a butterfly you can emerge from the cocoons they build for you. Was walking around #Sunderland today and decided to take a #photograph of the bridge I walk across everyday because it was such a beautiful day! 😎 Plus I have a binder that makes me almost flat so the whole world looks bright and beautiful. The only downside is I wish all of my family were on board with my transition its hard to cope without a mum and a grandma to support me.

Dysphoria is such a rubbish feeling I wish i didn't experience it like a do my friend's make me feel better with the right pronouns though. Its funny the dysphoria monster isnt always there just sometimes it creeps up on you when your not looking now i just need the courage to let my lecturers know i will probably send an email. My coming out post to my family - even though it didn't go well at all they are all religious and they pretty much think that I am mentally ill or an abomination or mentally ill but its ok I dont care I have friends around me.

Cutest thing I have seen yet I have said this quite a lot maybe im too complicated for people and you know what we are all complex that's what makes us an individual unique and beautiful.

Nonbinary people are amazing!

Your gender and identity is in no way “too confusing” or elaborate. You have the right to be you, and you don’t have to let anyone make you feel bad for that. Gender can be hard and beautiful and complicated and an ongoing journey. You might need a dozen labels just to describe it to yourself, and that’s okay! You might only need one, and that’s okay!

You have the right to be the awesome person we all know you are. Embrace your gender. Ignore those who try to beat you down for it. Don’t give them that power over you.
