The following morning, Diane walks besides Hawk's mom, who is happily trotting along the floor with a smile across her face.
"Hey Hawk's mom, not to get too personal or anything, but what do you eat?" Diane asks. Hawk's mom lets out a groan "What was that again?" She groans again and Diane giggles, not understanding the big pig. "Good talk Hawk's mom!"
Tumblr media
Inside the Boar Hat, Ban, Gowther, King, Meliodas and Y/N are all sat at the bar, King laying his head his head on the table recovering from a hangover. On the other side of the bar, Y/N leans on the table, resting her chin on her hand while watching Ban and Gowther with an amused look.
"What are you doing?" Ban questions, unbothered by the fact that the man is currently squishing his pec.
"This is the greeting the captain showed me yesterday." Gowther responded.
"I told you, that's not what it was!" Hawk says. Gowther stops squeezing Ban's pec and sits besides King, who's head is looking up.
"So does anyone have a clue where we're supposed to go next?" Ban asks.
"Any chance you might have a lead on where the next Sin might be?" King says, looking between Y/N and a back facing Meliodas. Y/N shakes her head, sitting up straight.
"Escanor and Merlin." Gowther says.
"No." Meliodas says, turning around to face them. "First thing I'm going to do is break into the capital and get my sword back!"
"What are you talking about? You mean the dragon hilt you lost?" Ban questions.
"I'm not going anywhere without it." Meliodas says. Elizabeth stops her cleaning and looks over to them, Hawk continuing to eat his scraps as Meliodas slams his fists on the bar. "Okay, now who's coming with me?"
"Fun as that sounds, I think I'll pass." Ban says, resting his hands on the back of his head, which he won't admit, that he got from Y/N.
"Besides, it's your own fault you lost it in the first place." King adds, resting on top of the bar.
"He has a point." Gowther continues. Meliodas looks to Y/N, who just gives him a shrug and nodding in agreement.
"I'm afraid he does, Mels." She responds. Minutes later, Meliodas is under Elizabeth's skirt, hugging her legs.
"I'm so sad!" He says, Elizabeth petting his head.
"Oh, there, there." As if sensing what's going on, Diane bursts her face through the window.
"CAPTAIN!" She shouts. More minutes pass as Meliodas and Y/N are currently now fixing the broken window, Diane staring in at them.
"Right. The Coffin of Eternal Darkness" Y/N says, hammering away at wood. "That dragon hilt is a fragment of a ritual relic."
"The sword Sir Meliodas has?"
"Yeah, according to an old legend, it's part of a relief that was created a long time ago, one that the Goddess, Giant, Fairy and Human races created to seal way the Demon Race." Meliodas explains.
"Why do the Holy Knights want it?" Elizabeth asks. "What could they be planning to do with something like that?"
"More than likely, the resurrection of the Demon Race." Y/N answers, turning to face the others.
"Those miserable bastards again?" Ban adds, sighing.
"Now that you mention it, wasn't it Hendrickson who turned Dale into that monster?" King reminds, "It's not every day you see somebody who can do that."
"True. Excellent point." Gowther says.
"Hendrickson..." Elizabeth repeats, "I don't understand why he and Dreyfus would do such a thing. It doesn't make sense. Why would he resurrect the Demon Race? What could he hope to accomplish?"
"Maybe he just wants to be friends with them?" Hawk says.
"Oh Hawk, How I wish to be as innocent as you" Y/N says, frowning.
"No way!" Elizabeth says.
"Well, then, what does he want?"
"I wish we knew." Meliodas says.
"Hey Captain, if that sword of yours really can resurrect the Demon race, and Hendrickson has it, do you think he's already brought them back?" Diane says, looking at him through the window.
"Not yet. It's a pretty powerful seal, so even if they do manage to break it, there's bound to be some kind of sign -." As if on cue, a loud rumbling is heard and they turn around to see Hawk worrying.
"It's a sight. I think I'm getting a sign!"
"That you gotta poop." Ban says.
"The seal is about to be broken!" Hawk says, slowly trotting over to the door.
"Hawk, are you okay?" Elizabeth says, standing up to check Hawk.
"Hang on. I get why those guys are going after the sword. But I don't understand what they wanted with Elizabeth." Hawk says, squealing as his stomach rumbles and groans. They look down as they think, however a new voice cuts through the air.
"It's simple." They say from behind Elizabeth, who gasps and turns to face the intruder. "She's the last key to breaking the seal." The Sins all turn serious and look at the intruder.
"Oh, crap! Get away from her! Elizabeth!" Meliodas shouts, jumping forwards with his hand held out, however a circle of light surrounds the intruder, Elizabeth and Hawk before they disappear, Meliodas landing where they once stood.
"Elizabeth!" Y/N shouts, grabbing her Axe from behind the counter.
"DAMN IIITTTT!!!!" Meliodas shouts, the loudest anyone has every heard him shout, it causing the boar hat to rumble. He quickly runs to grab the sword Elizabeth given to him, running out the Boar Hat, Y/N following close behind him.
"What the hell!" Ban says, now being serious.
"That was probably a mage!" Gowther says. "They can appear and disappear in a blink of an eye." The rest of the sins follow their leaders out of the Tavern, who are running and looking around.
"Captain! Lieutenant!" Diane shouts down to them.
"Follow us! We're heading to the capital to save Elizabeth!" Meliodas shouts.
"But how? It's more than 40 miles away." King says, floating towards them.
"Diane!" Y/N shouts, looking to the giantess.
"Gotcha!" She responds, understanding their plan.
"Not so fast." Ban says, grabbing Meliodas and Y/N in his hold, holding them tight with a wide smile on his face, "I changed my mind. I'm going to!"
"Ban! Would you stop fooling around!" King says, however Ban looks down at his leaders with a smirk, who look up to him.
"You two have got your reasons for going. I've got mine." Ban says and Y/N nods to him.
"I'm coming too." Gowther says, walking over and wrapping his arms around Ban's waist.
"Oh, come on, Gowther. What are you doing?" King says, watching as the four Sins are grabbed by Diane, being lifted up into the air.
"Ban and the Captain always fight, so seeing them in action could be educational. And the lieutenant is always getting between them before she too is pulled into the fighting, and I do want to see how she fights at the level of power."
"Here goes. It might be a little off, so be careful." Diane says, looking at them with a worried expression.
"Just get us close, and we'll take it from there." Meliodas says.
"Right." Diane reals back her arm
"No matter what happens, just bring Elizabeth back safe."
"On it."
"Oh and King!" Y/N says, looking to the Fairy. He looks to her, a worried expression on his face. "See you over there." She says, winking at him. He blushes as Diane begins her run up before throwing the four Sins into the air and towards the capital, King watching will an worried yet impressed look.
Tumblr media
The four sins are flying through the air at an unmeasurable speed, Ban being the tallest taking most of the air force.
"We're dead!" Ban says, teeth gritted.
"Where's Fred? Who's Fred?" Y/N questions.
"Did you say something?" Meliodas says.
"You'll have to speak up a bit!" Gowther says. They arrive to the capital in mere minutes, landing on the floor with a loud crash as dusts surrounds them. Holy Knights gather in front of them their weapons drawn and shields raised. The four sins are quick to come running out of the dust and towards the castle.
"The only reason we're here right now is to rescue Elizabeth! So try to keep the fighting to a minimum!" Meliodas says.
"Understood." Gowther says.
"Yeah, but we could still kick a little ass while we're here, right, Captain? Lieutenant?"
"Go straight for the kill." Meliodas says.
"Have some fun!" Y/N adds, raising her axe as the Holy Knights begin their attacks, using their abilities.
"Full Counter!"
"Recoil!" Y/N and Meliodas both use their ability to send the Holy Knight's attacks straight back at them with 10x force and power. They jump through the dust to come face to face with another Holy Knight who is clashing his fists together.
"Are you the Eight Deadly Sins? You don't look so tough to me!" He says, only for Meliodas to punch past him, the others following. More Holy Knights prepare to attack, but none of them stop Meliodas from going straight through them.
"I'm coming Elizabeth! Hang on!" Meliodas shouts as get closer to the entrance. However they come to a skidding stop as they look over to the castle.
"What's going on, have they given up? Hold on, what's that strange power?" Ban asks.
"It appears to be coming from the other side of the castle." Gowther adds as Y/N gives the air a sniff.
"It smells familiar...It's...The New King or Camelot, King Arthur!"

"Hey Ban, did you have an extra one of those outfits?" Meliodas questions the Fox Sin.
"Nah, I picked this one up on the way to the village!" Ban replies, turning around with a smile, two barrels of ale in his hold.
"Stole,  you mean?" Gowther corrects.
"This looks so good!" Hawk shouts, his front trotters on the tree stump which holds food.
"Hawk, mind your manners." Diane reminds, sitting behind the pig who whimpers.
"Yeah, mind your manners or I may think you're are just a simple, but very tasty, piggy for me to eat." Y/N says, sat crossed legged on another tree stump besides Hawk, drool falling down her mouth. Hawk looks to the Sin with wide eyes and letting out a noise of disapproval.
"I think its bad manners to sit like that" Elizabeth says, looking to Diane and Y/N with a gentle smile. The two sins look at each other before standing up, giving Elizabeth a returned smile. Meliodas and Y/N then walk over to Cain, smiling at the man.
"Leaving already?" Meliodas questions Cain, "Why don't you stay for a drink?"
"Yeah old man, you still owe me that drinking challenge!" Y/N says, holding up a mug of ale to the man, another one in her other hand.
"Thanks, but I won't trouble you any longer." He replies, "Seeing you two again was enough."
"Alright."
"One last thing before I go, keep in mind that if you're seeing traces of Liz whenever you look at that princess, uh, well never mind." Cain turns around, "Until we meet again, Meliodas and Y/N!"
"Take care of yourself Barzard!" Meliodas shouts, Y/N waves at the man before downing the two mugs of ale, giving Meliodas a sheepish smile.
==
Back with the other sins, the three of them and Elizabeth stand in front of Gowther, Elizabeth introducing herself to the Lust Sin.
"Nice to meet you, Sir Gowther. My name is Elizabeth. I'm the third princess of Liones. Would you please consider joining all of us in our quest to save the kingdom from Holy Knights?" She asks, a confident smile on her face.
"No." Gowther responds with a monotone voice, causing the small group's eyes to widen in shock.
"No?!"
"This isn't the first time we met." Gowther replies, walking towards Elizabeth.
"R-Really?"
"We crossed paths once before in Ordan, and before that you became acquainted with us when you were only a small child." The pink-haired sin explains.
"Well what do you know, she was the little runt always hanging around the king." Ban says, scratching his head at the realisation.
"Oh how weird, I totally don't remember that!" Diane says, giggling.
"Show respect when you speak to her highness." King says, floating close to Gowther's ear and loudly whispering.
"I beg your pardon princess." Gowther corrects.
"O-Oh sure! So uhm, think you could tell me if I met Sir Meliodas and Lady Y/N before by any chance?"
"Of course you have!" Meliodas responds, he and Y/N walking towards the group, the Wolf Sin having her hands behind her head.
"Sir Meliodas, Lady Y/N!"
"What will it be Gowther? Wanna join up with us?!" Y/N asks, looking to him with a wide smile.
"I think I should, it was the king who appointed me to the Eight Deadly Sins, so the least I can do in return is submit to his daughter's wishes."
"Great! And with you, our Eight Deadly Sin count is up to Six! Let's get drunk to celebrate!" Meliodas shouts, raising his hand, Y/N following shortly with an appeared mug of ale in her hands.
"Well we would have done that anyway, but I'm in!" King says and Y/N wraps her arm around the fairy's shoulders, holding the mug close to his lips.
"Well let's get this started shall we!" She says, laughing and swaying side to side with him all while King has a small blush as he drinks the ale given to him.
The group turn their attentions towards the bottles of alcohol and the food on the tree stump, empty bottles already surrounding the Fox, Dragon and Wolf sin.
"I hope you brought your A game, Captain. Same with you Lieutenant!" Ban teases, already drunk.
"Less talking more drinking!" Meliodas says, the two quickly downing their ales.
"Tch you boys won't be beating me." Y/N says, throwing the empty bottle over her shoulder before quickly opening another one and drinking it. Gowther watches the three drink with a straight face.
"Eat! I'm sure we have something here you'd like!" Elizabeth says, walking up to Gowther and placing a plate of food in front of them.
"I have no preferences when it comes to food." He replies. A loud munching noise is heard from behind him. "Something feels odd." He turns his head around to face the loud munching noise.
"Hey Gowther, I'm Sir Hawk, Captain of the Order of Scraps Disposal!" Hawk introduces, his mouth full of food. "If you've got any questions, just ask. I'm always happy to help!"
"How in the world does a pig know how to speak?" Gowther questions, a hint of shock in his words.
"No idea."
"So why are you eating all those scraps?"
"'Cause they're yummy!"
"That's all." Gowther finishes, turning back to face the others.
"You're done already! Now, you've got to have more questions than that!" Gowther continues to look over at the others, seeing Elizabeth and Diane talking and laughing then moving his eyes to where he sees Y/N drinking and laughing with Meliodas and Ban all while King watches her with a blush and a soft smile.
"I'm so moved. I was starting to think I'd never be reunited with the others again." Gowther thought, or at least he believed he did before Meliodas slams his mug on the table besides him. "That's what you were just thinking about, wasn't it!"
"I was noticing none of us are from the same species."
"That's all?!"
"That's all."
"Now that you mention it, I guess you're right." Meliodas says as Y/N makes her way over to them, setting down opposite him.
"So, Gowther, 10 years ago. When all of us were framed for trying to overthrow the Kingdom of Liones, well, I was wondering if you remem-" Meliodas is cut off by Gowther using his ability on him.
"I know what you want to ask. I see your own memory of the event is clouded, incomplete, but you wish to find out who assaulted both you and Y/N when we fled." Gowther says, to which the Captain looks to his second-in-command, nodding.
"Do you know?" She questions, looking to him with a tilted head.
"Yes. I do, in fact."
"It was the Boar Sin of Gluttony, Merlin."
Merlin looks down at the two unconscious Sins of the floor with half-lidded eyes.
"Merlin?! But why?" Meliodas and Y/N questions.
"I can't speak to her motive. I did hear several rumours, but none of them proved to be reliable. And whenever I got close to the truth, she would disappear again without a trace."
"H-Hey guys, you won't believe this!" Ban says, drunkenly grabbing Gowther and pulling him up, wrapping his arm around his shoulder. "But our buddy Gowther here was actually able to pick of King by his BO!"
"Along with bone structure and tone." Gowther adds.
"Really?"
"You recognised him by his smell?"
"I'm curious! Let's all have a smell!" Ban grabs King, who lets out a small yelp as he's pulled up and put in the middle of everyone. Ban takes the first sniff. "Kinda sickly-sweet, isn't it?"
"Like flowers!" Hawk adds. Soon Diane and Elizabeth are also smelling the fairy, to which he now has a large blush on his face.
"It smells so familiar." Diane says.
"It's what the fairy king should smell like." They all get closer to him, still smelling. He looks over to Y/N, seeing her nose twitch as she closes her eyes, a small smile on her face.
"Oh god, Y/N can smell me. She's smelling me right now, oh god!" King thinks, his face turning fully red.
"Guys, knock it off! If you keep crowding me, I might-" King is cut off by himself transforming into his big form.
"Now he smells kind of sour!" Ban says.
"Like sweaty socks!"
"It's not that bad guys! You must be imagining things!" King says, trying to change their minds.
"This one smells familiar too!" Diane says. King switches back to his normal form, tears falling down his cheeks at the embarrassment.
"Gross man." Ban teases, smirking down at him.
"Don't let him get to you, Sir King." Elizabeth says comfortingly.
"What's the big idea ganging up on me?!" King yells, throwing a temper tantrum of some sort towards Gowther.
"I didn't do anything to you."
"Of course you did! You started this mess, so you need to clean it up!"
"Very well!" Gowther says, holding out a finger before zapping it into Diane and Ban's neck. "Diane, you claim to be 29 feet tall, when in fact, you know you're actually closer to 30." Diane shoots her body back in shock and embarrassment, but Gowther continues. "The fudging of your weight is even more severe."
"Gowther!" Y/N shouts, standing up from her space from the tree stump. "You can's just say that to a la-" She's cut off by Diane punching Gowther into the ground.
"What is wrong with you, Gowther! Why do you have to be so mean!? A lady is allowed to keep some secrets, you jerk!"
"What's the point in lying about a food when you're as tall as she is?" Meliodas questions, standing besides Elizabeth, who turns her head to him.
"You're a boy, you wouldn't understand." The dust clears and Gowther lays on the floor, unharmed and no emotion as he looks to Ban.
"As for you Ban, during the battle with the vampires in Edinburgh 12 years ago, you got rather unreasonably drunk."
"Yeah, that's right. I got pretty hammered and decided not to join the mission." Ban says, unbothered as he takes a sip out of his bottle. "I said I was sorry."
"But you didn't apologise for using Physical Hunt to steal King and Diane's power, or for laughing at them as you watched them both struggle." Gowther continues, standing up and cleaning his glasses. Ban spits out his drink as the secret is revealed, the twin sins in question now standing behind him and staring menacingly down at him.
"Oh... So that explains why I felt so weak all of a sudden." Diane says, King besides her with his daggers floating around him.
"That was you!?"
"Come on, it was a long time ago." Ban doesn't turn around straight away. Forget an-." As he turns to face them, Diane grabs him in a tight hold around his top half, squeezing him until he bursts. He then manages to open up Diane's fist, "It wasn't my finest moment, but I don't deserve this!"
"You're right!" Gowther says, before using his powers on King again.
"Knock it off! Why do you always have to make trouble for everybody!" King says, now on the ground and looking to Gowther. "Could you please just give it a rest."
"Yeah, there's no reason to air our dirty laundry. Right?" Y/N says, acting innocent.
"That's right!" King agrees, before realising what he said. "I mean, not that I have any dirty laundry!" Y/N gives him a quick chuckle, holding her hands up in surrender.
"You could have defeated that opponent without me. As a matter of fact, King, you would've won easily if you'd pushed your power to the absolute limit." Gowther says, King's face becoming serious while the other sins look in confusion "Perhaps the alcohol is affecting my judgment but...Elaine?"
"Gowther, no!" King says, trying to stop him.
"This Helbram person, who is he?" Gowther continues, as King just listens to him. "It seems, because of this man, you find yourself unable to ...Perhaps "unable" isn't the word."
"NO, NO ,NO, NO, NO!" King shouts, using his big teddy to cover Gowther's mouth, breathing heavily.
"Calm down." Meliodas says, smiling. "Nothing to get worked up about."
"Oh, yeah?"
"This is why you probably shouldn't delve so deep into people's memories, Gowther." Y/N jokes.
"She's right, gotta read the room a little dude." Hawk adds as King removes the teddy's hands from Gowther's mouth, who looks to them with squinted eyes.
"Read. The...Room?" He repeats in confusion.
"Sir Meliodas, your meat just came out of the oven!" Elizabeth shouts, walking to him. Meliodas turns around, walking towards her.
"Oh, thanks!" Gowther puts his glasses back on and looks to Meliodas and Elizabeth talking.
"Is the princess in love with the Captain?" Gowther asks, causing Ban, King and Elizabeth to all gasp while Y/N just lets out a loud laugh. "Her voice rises in pitch and her heart rate accelerates, which doesn't happen when she speaks to the rest of us. I've heard of this before. It's called love." Ban and King sweat drops as a shadow casts of Diane's eyes as Gowther continues, all while Elizabeth has a red blush on her face. "A condition that affects humans, as well as other species."
"Stop! Quite talking, you idiot!"
"Man we're really in for it now!" The two turn back to face the giant, worried smiles on their faces.
"Just take it easy, Diane!"
"No need to blow away the village!" However their worrying ceases when they turn to see the giantess fast asleep on the floor, smiling happily.
"Well, I think I'll go back inside."
"Elizabeth?" Meliodas stops her before she could, holding the sword she threw to him out for her. "Here. Thanks a lot!"
"What do you mean?" She questions.
"It's not that Liz wanted you to fight. She wanted you to live, right?" Meliodas sits down, the sword still held up and his gaze looking at it. Elizabeth follows him, making confused sounds to which Meliodas hums in response.
"I was just wondering about what kind of person Liz was."
"Let me see. She was the exact opposite of you!" Meliodas says with a fond smile. "Really strong-willed so we'd fight sometimes. But in other ways, you two are a lot alike."
"You think so?" Elizabeth asks, turning her head to face him.
"Yeah. You're strong." Meliodas also turns his head to look at her, his smile never fading. "Both of you."
"Really? I am?"
"And...you've got a couple of other things in common." Meliodas says, going straight back to his pervy self by grabbing Elizabeth's boob, giving her a small squeeze. Y/N, having been watching the scene, spits out her drink.
"MELIODAS! GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER RIGHT NOW!" She shouts, throwing the mug at his head.
"Tell me, is that some kind of greeting?" Gowther questions, looking at them.
"For perverts!" Hawk adds.
==
Later that night, Y/N sits atop of the Boar Hat, resting against the roof with her hands behind her head as her pillow, looking up towards the stars with a glare.
"You are not sleeping?" A voice says from besides her, she jumps in with her weapon raised only to see it to be Gowther.
"Holy Hell Gowther, can't just sneak up on me like that, could have cut you in half." She says, placing down her weapon.
"No you couldn't have. You have a good reflex, you would have stopped before the blade touched me." Gowther responded, moving to sit down near her.
"Good point." She says, going back to looking up at the sky.
"So why are you not sleeping?" Gowther repeats, following her gaze up to the sky. The woman shrugs.
"Just can't tonight I guess." She looks to Gowther with a smile. "I'm surprised that you didn't use your power on me, why not?"
"Because you are my leader, I do not wish to invade your memories unless given permission." He respond, his eyes not moving from the sky.
"Well, thank you for that. But it will save you time and questioning, so I'll just tell you. It's about 10 years ago, about Merlin..."
"Your powers?" Gowther questions, Y/N goes to open her mouth in shock before shaking her head, knowing she already knows the answer. "Yes, I seen that you too have not been using your full potential, and that you only have one side of your axe?"
"I woke up with neither side, I only recently found this one in the necropolis, buried in the crystals. Had to damn near kill myself just to get it out. You don't think Merlin has my other one."
"I do not know, but if she had taken your axe and separated it, why would she hide one in the necropolis and keep the other to herself." Gowther asks.
"More on the fact, how would she even know we would be going to the necropolis." Y/N says, looking down at her axe. "How did she know, and why did she do it...When I grabbed this axe, I felt some of my strength come back to me. Maybe the rest of them are locked in the other half."
"I wish I had the answers for you, Lieutenant." Gowther says, looking to her. "I too would like to understand why. Next time we see her, I will be sure to ask her for you." Y/N smiles at him, nodding.
"I'd like that very much, thank you." The two sit in silence, looking back up to the stars. "Oh and Gowther?" He hums in response. "Stop looking into their minds, it's not cool to know everything."
"Yes Lieutenant, I will stop looking into their memories... Unless given the permission of course" Y/N shakes her head with a light chuckle.
"Of course."

𝚄𝚗𝚑𝚘𝚕𝚢 𝙺𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚜 (𝙿𝚝 𝟷)
Everyone stares at the pink haired sin, looking to him in shock, others in relief to see the being alive and well. Ban jumps to Gowther's side, hands in pocket, and looking down at him with a smirk. Gowther looks up to the tall man with an expressionless look.
"Woah, so back then you were wearing that armour huh?" Ban says, walking around Gowther to see just how small he was compared to his armour - Gowther following his gaze. "Guess I always figured it was some giant old man who was stuffed inside there."
"Given your posture, gait, tone of voice, attitude, as well as that scar, I presume that you're Ban, the undead." Gowther says, looking up at him.
"Now that's the Gowther I remember." Ban says with a chuckle.
"He's one of the Eight Deadly Sins too?" The brown haired woman says as Gowther looks to Meliodas.
"And that young boy who appears just as I remember him from years ago must be..." Gowther trails off.
"You got it! I'm Captain Meliodas, alright!" Meliodas says, smiling and pointing to himself.
"Hold on, this little squirt is the leader of the Eight Deadly Sins!?" The boy standing in front of Meliodas says, looking to him in shock.
"Yeah, surprised?"
"It's astonishing." Gowther adds.
"You saying that you can't tell from his face?" Ban says, walking to the other side of Gowther again. "Then what do you think of that guy?" Ban points up to King, who is still wrapped up in the electric, "You're ready for this one? That's King!"
"No, that's someone else. Bone structure, voice, and body odor, it all indicates another person, not King." Gowther says, staring up at King.
"Odor?" Ban questions and King just sighs before poofing into his other form.
"Creepy!" The brown haired woman says, jerking back and the electric around King dissipates.
"It is him then, undoubtedly"
"Oi, watch your mouth lady! He is not creepy!" Y/N shouts, glaring at the woman as her wound heals itself up as Gowther stares over to Y/N.
"Given your protective nature over King, as well as your body shape, height, scent and scar, you must be Y/N."
"Hey, I'm not being protective! Just no one slanders anyone in this group!" Y/N says, turning her head to hide her slight blush, King doing the same.
"Aww how cute, they're blushing~" Ban drags out, only for clapping to interrupt them.
"Wonderful!" Slader says, "To meet not only Gowther but four of the Eight Deadly Sins? So happy!" He raises his arms to them, "Given the chance, I would love to challenge you but it's such a pity. In the very end, our mission is solely to return home with that Armor Giant's head."
"By the way, who's inside of that amour?" Meliodas questions, ignoring Slader.
"Well, I'm not really sure." Gowther replies, turning his head back to the giant. Y/N gives him a head tilt, resting her hands behind her head.
"You mean someone just walked up, took your amour off you and put it on, and you have no idea who?"
"Now then, time to get to work!" Slader says as he and his team ready their weapons.
"I'd actually prefer it if you left him alone, would you?" Gowther asks.
"What's going on, Gowther?" Ban questions, looking to him. "Just let those guys do what they want."
"Yeah, the fact is the only reason we tried to protect him in the first place is because we thought it was you." King adds as the armoured giant begins shaking.
"Right!" Meliodas agrees.
"Yuppers, but now we can just leave them to deal with this." Y/N says, gesturing to the Slader and his group. The giant suddenly lets out a loud roar as it stands up, destroying the armour from it's chest and showing it's muscly and scarred body.
"You felt this magical power first-hand, still think you can defeat him?" Gowther asks, looking up at the giant.
"That's right." Slader says. "I'll admit that two of us, no, make that one, will surely to die. But will surely claim this one's head too."
"A cool-headed assessment, I have no choice then." Gowther says, raising his hand, to which Slader tightens his hold on his weapon. Gowther then shoots his hand up, slicing the head of the giant, causing everyone to gasp out in shock. Gowther holds the head in his hand, walking towards Slader. "Take it with you."
"What are you doing?" He questions.
"It's the most peaceful way of resolving this." Gowther replies, "If a three-way battle were to occur between us now, the aftermath would mean the inevitable annihilation of Ordan's villagers below. And this way, the night's who perished wouldn't have died in vain."
"Hm, I accept your offer." Slader says, grabbing the head.
"Are you sure about this?!" The white haired knight questions. "That was our prey you just-"
"Silence!" Slader orders, "I like you, Gowther, the Goat Sin. So, out of respect for your legend, we'll withdraw." Slader turns his head to the sins, "But if by chance we're given the order to go after your heads one day, when that time comes, well, ta-ta!" Slader and his group turn and begin jumping away, leaving the Sins with the dead giant.
"Yes, Ta-Ta!" Gowther says, waving after them while the other four sins share a look.
"I'm kind of surprised, it looked like you had some sympathy for this monster." King says.
"Oh really? Was I sympathizing with him?" Gowther asks, tilting his head. King and Ban share a look of confusion.
"He was wearing your armour, wasn't he?" Y/N asks, looking to the giant. "Was he like your stand in or something?"
"Stand-in? No, though he effectively became one." Gowther replies before looking to the Giant too, "After all, you did mistake him for me."
"Yeah, well, it's not like we've ever seen your real face." Ban says, hands in pockets.
"I see, in other words, my disguise was unnecessary." Gowther says, playing with his pink hair.
"Sill, I've never seen a monster like this before." Meliodas says, walking over to the monsters hand.
"There's a faint odor wafting from the very depths of his magical power." Gowther says. "He was very likely human once."
"Huh?"
"Human?!"
"Human? This thing?" Y/N says, kicking the monster lightly. Not even a second later one of it's smaller hands begin to move before it begins to rise up, and Y/N turns around with a sheepish smile. "Uhm...did I cause that? Oopsie daisy." The sins look up at the monster rising, King shifting into his big form and staring up in shock.
"Well then, let's try to contain him, the five of us." Gowther says, ripping off his yellow rain coat.
"Hold on...What's going on here?" Meliodas questions.
"As I said, the chaos would have been extreme if we clashed in a three-way battle."
"You-you chopped off his head, but he's still alive!" King shouts.
"Yes, it was already ornamental, anyway."
"What part of him was once human then? This is really weird!"
"Naturally, he was no ordinary human. That's the shell of a former Holy Knight." Gowther says, and the four tumour looking balls on it's chest open up to reveal mouths with long tongues, all roaring as a blond haired man is settled in the middle, seemingly fused with the creature.
"A shell of a Holy Knight?" King, now back to normal, says in shock.
"I'm sure you sense it." Gowther says, "Drifting alone the torrent of evil magical power... is the great power of the Holy knight. In order to suppress this incredibly evil force,  I had him wear my armour." Gowther explains, "But after repeated damage to it, the seal was broken."
"So, that's what's going on. Well, it doesn't exactly seem like the kind of guy you can reason with!" Meliodas says, readying his fists to fight. The giant raises it's hand before bringing it down to wear the sins were standing, all of whom have jumped away. "Let's do this!"
"Right!"
"Hell yeah!"
Ban, Meliodas and Y/N all jump at the monster, kicking and punching at it's four faces on it's chest, however not long after they are hit away, and go flying back towards a rock. Luckily, King changes his pillow into the teddy bear and it catches the three sins safely.
luckily King used his pillow to create a wall to catch them. King floats above with his hands behind his head, snickering.
"Come on, guys...when you go into battle, you should wait to see how your opponent strikes first." King snickers, floating above them.
"Ah, shut up, King!" Ban says, pointing up at the fairy while he himself is held by the giant green teddy bear pillow.
"It's so fluffy!" Meliodas says,
"Good teddy bear!" Y/N says, rubbing the teddy bear's head with a smile. King holds back a blush as he keeps his eyes on the monster.
"Spirit Spear Chastiefol, second form, Guardian." The guardian carefully places down the three sins, before standing back up and staring at the monster. "To protect against external enemies, the Holy Tree's own moss is given shape and send into battle." The monster slowly makes it way over to them, "Made of moss, its body can parry any attack, and with its high concentration of water, its highly resistant to fire!" The guardian floats up into the air before one of the monster's face opens i's mouth and releases it's frozen breath, freezing the guardian before punching it.
"But it isn't so great against the cold." Meliodas says.
"Don't worry King, you'll get him next time!" Y/N adds, smiling lightly at him,
"NO!!" King shouts, eyes watering lightly at the slight embarrassment. The four then look to Gowther, who is stood in front of them, and covered in white snow.
"Hey Gowther! It's your turn next!"
"My glasses clouded over." Gowther replies, taking of the said glasses and squinting at them before walking past the four sins, still looking down at the glasses, "You four hold him off for a little while."
"Oi! Where the hell are you going!" Y/N says, shouting to the man before looking up to see a fist coming her way "Uh oh" She and the other three sins jump out the way in time.
"Man what a pain, fighting him barehanded is gonna be tough, Captain!" Ban says.
"Aww man, I always forget my axe~" Y/N whines, crossing her arms. "I'm telling you, I'd forget my own boobs if they were attached to by body."
"Oh, you won't be forgetting them, King would never allow that to happe-." Ban jokes, causing Y/N to slap him on the head. Meliodas turns around to pick up a sword and shield from one of the dead knights
"Guess we can't be too choosy about weapons, then. I'll take these." Meliodas stands up and Ban and Y/N follow in suit, Ban dawning a whip and Y/N carrying just a spear. Meliodas jumps at one of the heads,  which shoots out acid like venom, Meliodas using his shield to block it from hitting him.
"Will normal weapons work on that thing!" King questions, floating in the sky with his broken chastiefol behind him.
"Enchant hell blaze!" Meliodas shouts, slicing the beast on it's shoulder, a black and purple flame covering the wound. Ban and King look to it in shock.
"Wait, black flames?!"
"Just like-" Ban remembers back to when he got his scar, seeing the same black and purple flames covering Meliodas's sword.
"Meliodas! Do it in one shot!" Y/N shouts.
"Right!" Meliodas responds, jumping into the air with his sword raises, letting out a yell however once he gets close to the middle section he freezes.
"Don't...do this...please..." The holy knight whispers.
"Hurry up and finish him off!" Ban shouts, one of it's tongues then wrap itself around Meliodas.
"Crap, this is bad." Meliodas says, keeping his sword raised.
"Dumbass!" Ban shouts, running forwards. Suddenly a light arrow shoots through the monster's middle, more specifically, right through the holy knight.
"A light arrow?" King says, "This is your chance, Ban!" Ban uses his weapon and his ability to wrap the whip around Meliodas and pull him out of the tongue of the monster, catching him in his arm.
"What's the matter Captain!" Ban questions, "You could have destroyed it!"
"I just heard him say something! It must have been the Holy knight!" Meliodas says.
"You mean he's alive in that thing?" Y/N questions, looking up to him.
"Like that really matters." Ban says, dropping Meliodas out of his grasp. "Just kill him already!"
"He's still alive in there!"
"We can't kill him!" Y/N adds, stepping between Ban and the holy knight.
"Stop being so naïve!" Ban asks, looking to Meliodas and Y/N.
"What's up, are you two fighting?" Gowther, now cleaned, asks as he walking between them, purple bow in hand.
"Gowther." King looks up to the monster, who still had the light arrow in the holy knights chest. "He's stopped moving, did you take him down?"
"No. He's trapped in an a illusion." Gowther answers, "That's my magical power...Invasion. Right now, he's inside an illusion of the distant days he most wanted to return to."
"You're still the same annoying freak you always were." Ban says, Gowther lowers his hand, putting the bow away. "Now stop yapping and kill him already."
"I'm incapable of killing him." Ban looks to him in surprise, "It isn't as if he made the choice to be born this way. Therefore, I cannot kill him."
"Like there's anyone in this word who get to say on how they're born." Ban says, smirking before stepping forward and raising his hand, "Move it, I'll kill that thing." A hand then grasps around Ban's wrist, stopping him.
"Back off." Y/N says, lowering Ban's hands and glaring at him, "There's still a part of him that's human inside that thing." Ban and Y/N lock eyes, glaring with long cold stares. "I am death, I bring death, it's only right that I bring it to his lost soul, don't you think..."
Tumblr media
Back at the boar hat, Elizabeth, Diane and Hawk have arrived back safely, Diane and Hawk are outside, looking over the land.
"The captain and lieutenant sure is late." Diane says, sitting on the floor with her Gideon resting on her back and Hawk sat besides her.
"Maybe that means they ended up catching something really awesome!" Hawk says. Inside the Boar hat, Elizabeth stands at the window, staring out with worry.
"Why aren't they back?"
"Hello? Are you open?" A voice says, as they knock on the door. "Every other place seems to be closed for some reason." Elizabeth opens the door to see the old man from the Vaizel fighting competition.
"Welcome, Sir" Elizabeth opens the door to see the old man from the Vaizel fighting competition, the man just looks to Elizabeth with a jaw dropped expression. "You're Cain, aren't you? You and Sir Meliodas fought in Vaizel, isn't that right?"
"My word," Cain begins crying, "Could I be dreaming right now? Liz!" Elizabeth could just look to the old man in shock.

Ban and Y/N keep their positions, just glaring into one another's eyes as the other three sins just watch with anticipation as to what will happen next.
"It's said that close friends often fight. It that the case here?" Gowther questions.
"I don't think it's a fight." King replies.
"Nope, more like a show of dominance I see it." Meliodas says, resting a finger on his chin.
"It's said that friendship is a beautiful thing. Is it?" Gowther asks, tilting his head.
"Excuse me?" King asks. Ban just smiles to the woman before using his whip to wrap around the Holy Knight's heart and tear it out of his body, all Y/N could was gasp.
Tumblr media
Back at the boar hat, Cain was now welcomed in as he's now sat on one of the stools at the bar, Elizabeth now pouring some ale into a mug for him.
"I see, so Meliodas and Y/N survived? I'm so glad to hear that" Cain says, nodding.
"Here." She places down the ale in front of Cain, resting his hands back in front of her, a warm smile on her face towards the old man.
"Sorry about this. Hate to trouble you, Princess."
"It's fine." The old man takes a big gulp from the ale before looking back to Elizabeth with a smile.
"Still, I was surprised when I saw you. Your noble features and soft voice are so like hers. I really thought that Liz had come back to life. If that girl were still alive, she'd be a woman in her prime right now."
"Oh, was she your daughter by any chance?" Elizabeth asks, and Cain shakes his head.
"Liz was her nickname, she had the same name as you, Elizabeth."
"What?"
"She was Meliodas' girlfriend, and Y/N's best friend, almost sister." Cain says, causing Elizabeth to gasp.
Tumblr media
(Italic-Underline = Cain talking)
"Liz was a knight from an enemy nation who bungled a night raid on Danafall. She was captured and sentenced to death."
A young woman, looking almost exactly like Elizabeth only with short red hair and a not so soft look, sits tied up in the middle of a large group of Holy Knights, the said group holding up weapons and shouting at her.
"And the ones who came to her rescue was none other than Meliodas and Y/N, who were the captain and lieutenant of Danafall's Holy Knights then."
Meliodas and Y/N walk through the crowd and stand on either side of the woman, Meliodas was his hand raised up and Y/N with her eyes darting all around the crowd, waiting for any sudden movement.
"Naturally, the others shouted out their objections."
The group of Holy Knights all begin to shout and point at Liz, ordering her to death and sending threats to her, completely ignoring Meliodas and Y/N's opinions of not killing her.
"If so, then that makes all of you our enemy!" Meliodas says with a smile, Y/N cracking her knuckles.
"And we all know you don't want that." She adds, glaring around at the other Holy Knights.
"What!" The entire group of Holy Knights shout in surprise, while Liz gives them both a look of shock, that she had been spared and saved by two very young looking people.
==
Later the three are in a room of sorts, Y/N is say down at the table, munching on her food while Meliodas holds up two plates, staring to Liz. The woman herself now untied and out of her armour.
"You are so naïve."
"You think so?"
"Don't say stuff like that, he'll just take it as a compliment." Y/N asks, shoving the food into her mouth. "Believe me, I've called him many things."
"Hey, don't give me that!" Liz shouts, as Meliodas just places the two plates down, "The only reason you did that is 'cause you're after my body!" She says, pointedly towards Meliodas, she then looks to Y/N. "And god knows what you want me for, probably to eat me since you act like a mutt!"
"Ouch, that's not very nice. Besides, I don't eat people." Y/N says, smiling to her.
"Well if either of you touch me! I'll beat you to death!" Liz threatens, only for Meliodas to come behind her and place his hands on her breasts, pushing them up.
"Now come on, don't get so worked up. Let's just have dinner." Y/N just spits out her food and slams her hands on the table, standing up.
"Meliodas!!!!!" She shouts.
"Stop that!" Liz says, pushing him away. Y/N begins to chase after the blond haired man with a wooden spoon raised.
"Stop being so pervy towards women!!"" She shouts.
Tumblr media
(Okay so, in this case the Mutt can be a definition for someone who is incompetent or stupid, a fool overwise. But also ironically that Y/N is also a Mutt, technically)
Elizabeth now sits besides Cain, as he continues telling the story.
"It turned out that Liz had been sold as a slave to that enemy nation. Because of that, she didn't trust anyone but herself. But maybe that was what you'd call a fateful encounter. Even as she complained bitterly that he was a naïve man and Y/N was just a mutt, Liz gradually grew attracted to Meliodas and began loving Y/N like a sister. She was a girl who had an uncommon charm herself, and the rest of us began opening up to her. Of course, that was from a time long past."
"I can't believe she thought they were naïve and a mutt. Sir Meliodas is just very...very kind, and Y/N can just be quite, laid back at times...that's all." Cain just chuckles
"Do you know the reason why he won't carry a decent sword around with him?" Elizabeth just shakes her head, "He's too powerful. No one who's crossed swords with him has lived to tell the tale, and he doesn't like to put himself in that situation. At the same time though, I also think he can be too gentle a soul." Cain reaches into his cloak, pulling out a small sword and placing it on the table.
"What is that?" Elizabeth asks.
"It's something Liz once tried to give Meliodas as a gift."
"Thanks, but I don't need a sword. I don't wanna kill anybody." Meliodas says, waving Liz off, who is holding the sword. Y/N stands besides her with arms crossed and a frown,
"You know, once day you're gonna wish you had this sword." She says, shaking her head.
"So I accepted it for him, and I've been holding on to it ever since." Cain says, as Elizabeth continues to stare down at the sword. "And Y/N, she may not look it but she had the kindest heart out of everyone. Have you ever noticed when she fights, she tends to be quite gentle with them, playful even?"
"Like when she fought that man at the festival?" Elizabeth says, thinking back to Y/N's fight against Caesar, and how she was "playing with her food" as Meliodas described it.
"Exactly. She was always someone who could never kill someone who didn't deserve it. She'd always find a way to save them, killing them only if they have threatened someone close to her. However, I remember looking at that girl once, seeing her kind smile yet her eyes never matched, they always held some sort of sadness in them whenever she stared at Liz, as if she knew what was going to happen...And even now, I see that sadness in her eyes as if everyone she looks at is a ghost of her past...a regret of not being able to save them.
Tumblr media
Back with the other Sins, the monster is resting in it's knees with it's hand-fingers holding it up, Ban rips his arm out of Y/N's tight grasp, huffing while Y/N just frowns and glares towards the monster.
"Ban...why'd you have to kill him." She asks, looking up to him with cold eyes.
"All I did was bring the curtain down on the crappy life of some guy who turned into a monster. Trust me, I did him a favour."
"What?!" Y/N yells, getting up in Ban's face. Meliodas stands between them, smiling sheepishly up at them. "Who gives you the right to say he had a crappy life, huh!"
"Okay you two, let's calm it for now." Meliodas says, looking between the two.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe the fact he allowed this to actually happen!" Ban says, gesturing to the monster. Y/N grabs him by his jacket, teeth gritted and cold stare.
"You think he allowed this! No one would wish this upon their worst enemy!"
"Both of you, look!" King shouts, causing Ban and Y/N's eyes to snap away from each other and back to the beast, Y/N dropping her hold on Ban's jacket. "I think he's whispering something?"
"Even though his heart's been gouged out, he's still seeing the illusion that I gave him." Gowther says. Y/N just looks to the man in sadness, wondering what life he had lived, and the life he will leave behind. Suddenly the monster's 4 heads let out a roar.
"What the hell is this? I know I ripped his hear out." Ban says with a shocked expression before releasing, "Damn it! So, he's a demon too?!." The monster begins transforming as the four heads become one giant head at the top, it's hands splitting to make another pair of arms and hands, giving him now four. "Why'd the Holy Knight turn into a demon?! What's going on?"
"I know him, it's Dale... He became a Holy Knight about ten years ago!" Meliodas says.
"Yeah he was a father, and he always said he wanted to be just like us, so his daughter could be proud of him." King says as they remember the young man holding his daughter and smiling at them.
"How'd he end up like this?" Y/N questions, looking to the man with sadness.
"He's coming." Gowther says, and the monster begins running at them.
"Hey Dale! You remember me, right?" Meliodas shouts, standing in front of the monster.
"Wake up, Dale!" Y/N shouts, standing besides the short blond man. Ban suddenly kicks Meliodas and Y/N in the side, getting them out of the way.
"What are you doing dumbasses." Ban shouts, before turning back to see a sudden fist come at him, however he's too slow and his top half explodes with the punch.
"Ban!" Meliodas shouts.
"Stay down Captain, lieutenant!" King says, summoning thousands of daggers to rain down on the monster, "Let's do this! Fight fire with fire!" However he stops after realising the daggers aren't hurting him and barely stabbing into him - instead the monster somewhat chuckles and pushes all the daggers out. "In that case..."
"Stop it King!" Y/N shouts, looking up at him. He looks down to her, seeing her begging eyes.
"But, Y/N?" King says before he's cut off by the monster spitting a ball of green at King, catching him and pulling him to the ground harshly.
"KING!" Y/N shouts.
"Dale, cut it out now!" Meliodas says, sitting besides Ban.
"There's only one guy who ought to cut it out." Ban says, now regenerated as he sits up topless. "That would be you!" Ban says, punching Meliodas in the face, who falls to the floor. Ban then turns to Y/N, going to punch her only for the woman to catch it, clenching her fist tightly to break his wrist, but he doesn't even flinch.
"Ban just struck the Captain and tried to hit the lieutenant" Gowther says, "Why is that?"
"Gowther, why don't you help us out and fight, too?" King asks, slowly standing up.
"Could you let me think it over a bit?" Gowther asks.
"Seriously?" King shouts.
"Hate to say it Gowther, but now isn't really the time to think it over." Y/N says, watching the monster as she walks over to Meliodas.
"If you're not into this, get the hell out of here." Ban says, walking past the two and towards the monster. Meliodas slowly gets up as he looks to Ban, Y/N glaring at the fox sin, "Two half-ass softies can't save Jack, you'll only get us all killed."
"Ban."
"Sir Meliodas!" A voice rings from above. The group look up the cliff to see Elizabeth, breathing heavily with a small sword clutched to her chest.
"Elizabeth!" Meliodas shouts.
"Take this!" Elizabeth throws the sword down to Meliodas, both him and Y/N recognizing it.
"That sword." They both think
"Hey Meliodas, I still want you to accept this sword, all right?" Liz asks, holding the sword up to him.
"Sir Meliodas, it's not that Liz wanted you to fight! It's that she wanted you to live! Don't you understand? You're someone who stands up for what he believes in, and if that's your Sin, then I'll carry that burden with you!"
"You fine with that? Making a woman go that far..." Ban didn't even get to finish his sentence before Meliodas jumps up into the air to grab the sword, unsheathing it.
"I hope you can forgive me!" Meliodas says, before his eyes clock to Y/N's saddened expression, yet a small smile and a nod to him makes him continue. "Both of you -" Before slicing the monster, no...Dale into pieces. Dale slowly crumbles before collapsing, smoke covering the area as Meliodas sheaths the sword back, smiling up to Elizabeth.
"That was amazing Captain!" King says, getting a piggy back from Gowther.
"Impressive." Gowther adds.
"Hey, King...sorry about getting you hurt." Y/N says, looking down and frowning. King begins to slightly worry.
"I-It's fine, it wasn't your fault at all! Please don't blame yourself! I can take it" King says, shaking his head and waving his hands at her.
"Yeah, I knew you could pull it off, Captain!" Ban says, smirking. "At least one of you have some sense." Ban says, directing that towards Y/N. Meliodas and King look to the woman, expecting her to blow but all she shows is a smile.
"Sure sure, whatever you say. Just you wait Ban, because one day you're gonna wish I was gentle with you." She says, laughing lightly. The three sins, minus Ban and Gowther, begin discussing Dale while Ban walks over to the man, who's body is still fused with the flesh of the demon, yet something piercing his stomach, catches Ban's eyes.
"A human transforming into a demon, is that really possible?" King asks as Ban pulls on the fleshy plant looking thing before it rips out of his stomach.
"Hmm, could be a course or maybe some kind of experiment?" The fleshy plant suddenly opens it's eyes and shows it's mouth, wiggling at Ban.
"No way." King says, staring at them. "You think they crated a man-made Demon?"
"Guess so, and they used a Holy Knight to do it." Y/N says.
"But that means someone had to go behind the backs of two Holy Knight Grand Masters. Could it be true?"
"Yeah." Meliodas turns around to face him. "And there's a good chance that a Holy Knight Grand Master's directly involved."
"Then it's either Dreyfus...or its..." Ban holds up the plant looking thing, it's eyes beading at him, before a light arrow pierces its side, causing Ban to look to the direction in which the arrow came from.
"Hendrickson." Gowther finishes, staring at the small plant demon.
"You figure out something?"
"Yes. The person likeliest to be involved in this incident...is Holy Knight Grand Master Hendrickson." The small plant demon squeals before Ban wraps his hand around it and squeezes it, tossing it to the side.
"I'm getting hungry, let's get back." Ban says, walking past Gowther. Y/N however walking towards Gowther and Dale, kneeling down besides the man.
"Are you there?" Dale whispers, eyes closed and voice weakened.
"Yes, I am indeed present." Gowther replies, adjusting his glasses.
"Well, thank you...so much my friend." Dale says, weakly smiling.
"Friend? Do you think so, I heard that a friend is someone who's dear to you. Was I able to become your friend." Gowther stares down at Dale, waiting for an answer, but the man had already passed. "Please, Dale, tell me!"  Y/N just closes her eyes, resting a hand on top of his chest, feeling what was left of his life drain completely, as she feels his soul leave for someplace better.
"I'm sorry Gowther, but he's gone. I sense him no longer here." She says, patting him on the chest before standing up, and the two stare down at him. "His daughter would have been so proud of him, I'll be sure to tell her when I see her, whenever that it..."
"I wonder, do people shed tears at times like these?" Gowther questions, Y/N nods.
"Some do, especially if you were close to them. Some shed tears out of love for the dead, the regret of not saying what they had to. Some even cry out of pity for them..."
"And what kind of tears should we be shedding?" Gowther asks, starting up at the woman. She just smiles down at him.
"We don't, we instead smile and give him honour for what he has done for everyone." Y/N looks to Gowther. "Not everyone has to cry for the dead." She pokes him on the nose, smiling, "Hell when my day comes, I hope you all celebrate and drink ale for me, don't want any tears."
Elizabeth looks past the group and over to Gowther and Y/N, more specifically at Y/N, seeing her smiling down at the man, and all Elizabeth can do is slightly frown.
"Seeing her kind smile yet her eyes never matched, they always held some sort of sadness in them...Even now I see that sadness in her eyes as if everyone she looks at is a ghost of her past...a regret of not being able to save them."

𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝 𝙿𝚞𝚖𝚙𝚔𝚒𝚗, 𝚂𝚊𝚖 𝚆𝚒𝚗𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛 (𝙿𝚝 𝟺)
Sam walks through the mausoleum looking for Samhain. He turns a corner and sees the said demon himself in a room facing the far wall. Sam tries to walk silently up to him, narrowing his eyes at the demon. However, Samhain hears and turns around suddenly, throwing up his arm, and a bright white light comes out of it. It dims, however, and Sam keeps walking towards Samhain.
"Yeah, that demon ray gun stuff? It doesn't work on me." Sam says. Samhain then runs at Sam, only to be uppercut as they begin to fight. Samhain finally pushes Sam against a wall by his neck, getting the upper hand.
==
Back in the crypt room, Dean has already taken out one of the zombies, the silver stake coming out of its chest lying on the floor. Theo stabs another zombie to the ground with her silver stake next to the first one. She sighs in relief.
"That was way too easy." She says. She senses something behind her, hearing the clicking of heels as she turns to see a woman staring at her. Dean senses too and is quick to grab another silver stake and stab her, only for her to flicker and disappear and appears behind Theo. Theo pulls out the silver stake from the zombie and goes to stab her again only for the woman to motion both her hands at them, sending them flying across the room and into a wall, them sliding down the wall.
"Zombie ghost orgy huh?" Dean says.
"Well, that's it, we're torching everybody," Theo adds.
==
Back with Sam, he manages to get the knife out, trying to stab Samhain and when it starts to cut into his skin, it sizzles and Samhain pushes it out of Sam's hand and whips Sam around- throwing him into the wall across the room. Sam gets back up and Samhain looks at him, ready to attack, goes running at Sam. Sam is quick to put his hand up, using his psychic power to stop him. Samhain struggles against Sam, as he manages to keep him from advancing too much. Samhain continues to advance slowly, causing Sam's hand to shake more. Dean and Theo come running around the corner, seeing him use his powers.
"Sammy..." Theo mutters as the twin's faces fall. Sam sees them over his shoulder of Samhain but continues. Sam begins using a lot more concentration as Samhain keeps advancing, causing his nose to start bleeding as blood pounds in his head, causing him to grab his head with the hand not holding Samhain at bay. Theo goes to help him, but Dean grabs her arm, keeping her where she is.  Black smoke begins to flow out of Don's mouth.
The two watches as Sam finally exorcizes Samhain as his nose continues to bleed and the blood pounding in his head starts to slow down. Once Samhain is out of the body, Don's eyes turn back to colour as he drops to the ground dead, the black smoke disappearing. Sam can barely raise his eyes to meet Dean and Theo's stare, Sam realizing that this is the first time they've seen him use his powers, not knowing that they had already watched him do so.
Theo and Dean look at him sadly, Dean with a little bit of fear in his eyes and Theo with a little bit of anguish, knowing that the angels may have been right and that she may have to stop her brother if he is to go down the path of the demon blood, and kill him before he could end the world.
==
In the motel room, Sam is packing clothes into his duffel bag. Dean and Theo were nowhere in sight.
"Tomorrow," A voice says from behind Sam. He jumps at the sound and turns around to see Uriel sitting on the couch. "November 2nd, it's an anniversary for you."
"What are you doing here?" Sam asks.
"It's the day Azazel killed your mother, and 22 years later your girlfriend too. It must be difficult to bear, yet you so brazenly use the power he gave you. His profane blood pumping through your veins." Uriel spits out.
"Excuse me?"
"You were told not to use your abilities."
"And what was I supposed to do?" Sam questions. That demon would have killed me, my brother, my sister and everyone."
"You were told not to," Uriel says.
"If Samhain had gotten loose in this town -"
"You've been warned, twice now."
"You know? My brother was right about you, you are dicks." Sam says, sneering at Uriel. Sam feels a gust of airflow past him as Uriel is suddenly in front of him.
"The only reason you're still alive, Sam Winchester, is because you've been useful. But the moment that ceases to be true, the second you become more trouble than you're worth, one word. One, and I will turn you to dust." Uriel then backs up, but continues talking." As for your sister, tell him that maybe he should climb off that high horse of his. Ask Theo what he remembers from hell." Wings flutter as Uriel disappears, Sam's eyes going wide as he turns around to look for him. Dean then enters the room, looking at Sam with a confused look, as to why he's looking around.
"You okay, Sammy?" He questions, Sam, looking at him with a sad look.

In the park, Theo sits on a park bench, watching kids play with a soft smile. She senses something besides her, even though she's looking the other way.
"Let me guess you're here for the "I told you so"." She says, looking at the angel.
"No."
"Well, good, cause I'm not that interested." She says, looking away.
"I am not here to judge you, Theodora."
"Then why are you here?" Theo questions.
"Our orders."
"Yeah, you know, I've had about enough of these orders of yours –"
"Our orders were not to stop the summoning of Samhain, they were to do whatever you told us to do," Cas says, looking at the woman. Theo crosses her arms.
"Your orders were to follow my orders?"
"It was a test, to see how you would perform under... battlefield conditions, you might say."
"It was a witch, not the Tet Offensive," Theo says, causing Cas to chuckle a little. "So how'd I do huh? Did I fail your stupid test? I get it. But you know what? If you would have waved that fairy magic time-travelling wand of yours and we had to do it all over again, I'd make the same call. 'Cause see, as a hunter I don't have the luxury of knowing what's going to happen when these seals are broken, hell I don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow or in 10 minutes. But what I do know is, that this, here?" Theo gestures to the kids playing in the park. "These kids, the swings, the trees, all of it is still here because of my brothers and me."
"You misunderstand me, Theodora, I'm not like you think. I was praying that you would choose to save the town." Cas says.
"May you repeat that?" Theo says, looking at Cas in confusion.
"These people, they're all my father's creations. They're works of art, and yet, even though you stopped Samhain, the seal was broken and we are one step closer to hell on earth, for all creation. Now that's not an expression, Theo, it's literal. You of all people should appreciate what that means." Theo looks at him a little pained, and sad. " Can I tell you something if you promise not to tell another soul?" Theo nods.
"Go ahead."
"I'm not a... hammer as you say. I have questions, I have doubts. I don't know what is right and what is wrong anymore, whether you passed or failed here. But in the coming months, you will have more decisions to make. I don't envy the weight that's on your shoulders, Theo. I truly don't." The two share a look, and Theo looks out to the kids again and when she looks back, Castiel is gone.
"He's gonna be the death of me." She mutters.

"G-Gabriel?! The archangel Gabriel?" Theo stutters, pushing off from the post, Cas nods. "One of heaven's most fearsome warriors?" Cas nods again. "Saved my life?" Cas nods again, sighing. "Because why? Because I'm a Winchester? Because he took pity on me? O-or because I'm the sister of someone who has demon blood-"
"As I said, no one knows why he saved you. Many do question it, but never say it out loud in fear of being seen as doubtful."
"Well if you find him, do tell him to make a drop-in with me. Because I'd like my questions to be answered." Theo says, crossing her arms.
"As I also said, if he doesn't want to be found, then he won't be found. You're just gonna have to let him find you. Whenever that may be." Theo turns her back to Cas.
"You angels do love not giving straight answers, you know one of these days when you ask me for an answer, I'm just gonna stop halfway-" She turns around to face Cas, only to see him no longer there. "Oh, and that! I'll be sure to just hide when you turn around, see how it makes you feel!" She shakes her head, sighing before straightening her jacket.
She walks out of the motel room and sees the Impala, all clean now. She smiles and jumps into the driver's seat, Dean in the passenger and Sam in the back. She looks between the two.
"What did I miss between you two? Is it because Dean lost rock paper scissors?" Dean looks at her in shock at how she knew that. Sam chuckles, shaking his head.
"It was nothing." He replies, looking at her but still looking disappointed.
"What about you and Cas? What were ya talking about in there?" Dean questions. Then shakes her head.
"It was nothing." He rolls his eyes playfully before Sam goes through the contents of the hex bag in his hand, picking up the bone. She sees his pout in the rearview mirror. "Well, are you going to figure out a way to find this witch, or are you just going to sit there fingering your bone?" Dean chuckles, shaking his head as Theo starts up the Impala.
"You know how much heat it would take to char a bone like this?" Sam questions, holding up the charred bone between the twins, they turn their heads to look at it.
"No?"
"Bomb fire level?" Theo answers.
"A lot, more than that or some kitchen oven."
"Okay, Betty Crocker, what does that mean?" Dean asks.
"It means we make a stop," Sam says, looking between the two, smiling. She smirks at him.
"Thata boy, Sammy."
==
Back at the high school, the three enter Don's classroom, Dean and Theo checking the two kilns while Sam heads straight to Don's desk, kneeling.
"So, Tracy used the kiln to char the bone, what's the big deal?" Dean questions as the twins walk over to Sam, who is rifling through the stuff on Don's desk.
"Guys, that hex bag turned up in our room, not after we talked to Tracy-"
"After we talked to the teacher." Theo finishes, realizing. Sam looks down, noticing a bottom drawer with a latch, which is locked.
"Hey -" He says, getting Dean and Theo's attention. They look down at the latch. Sam gets a hammer off the table behind them, kneeling back down to hit the lock until it breaks open. He opens the drawer where there are bones in a bowl, one charred, the others not. Sam stands back up, looking down at the bones.
"My god, those are all from children." He says
"And I'm guessing he's not saving them for the dog." Dean jokes.
"Or the hellhounds."

In a park, Castiel stands beside a bench with his hands behind his back, watching as the children skip by in Halloween costumes. Uriel sits on the bench, doing the same.
"The decision's been made," Cas says.
"By a mud monkey," Uriel says, chuckling.
"You shouldn't call them that," Cas says.
"Ah, it's what they are," He gestures to the people around them, before looking up to Cas. "Savages, just plumbing on two legs."
"You're close to blasphemy," Cas says, looking at Uriel. He sighs at him. "There's a reason we were sent to save her. She has potential, her brother has potential, they may succeed here."
"I understand why he is important to heaven, but Theo? The only reason why she is of any importance is because of the grace that she's got in her, all because of an angel who found interest in her."
"You shouldn't question how archangels work and why they do it." Cas sits down on the bench beside Uriel, sighing. He rests his chin on his hands. "And any rate, it's out of our hands."
"It doesn't have to be."
"And what would you suggest?"
"That we drag Dean and Theo Winchester out of here, and then we blow this insignificant pinprick off the map," Uriel suggests, spitting in venom as he looks at Castiel.
"You know our true orders," Cas says, looking over to Uriel. "Are you prepared to disobey?" Uriel just looks at him, unable to answer.

In the basement of Don's house, Don stands at an alter like table, starting an incantation. Behind him, Tracy's hands are tied to a rope, which is attached to the ceiling, a rag wrapped around her mouth, stifling her cries as she struggled to get free. Don continues to talk in Latin? as he takes a knife and a chalice from the table, walking over to Tracy. He runs the top-down her neck, not drawing blood, but staring at her with a smile. Then he raises the knife above his head to stab her, only to get shot from behind three times. He drops to the floor as Dean, Theo and Sam come up from behind him. They put their guns back in their pockets as Dean goes over to Tracy to untie her as Sam and Theo check Don's body. Dean cuts Tracy down and she rips off the gag.
"Thank you, he was gonna kill me! Ugh, that sick son of a bitch. I mean, did you see what he was doing? Did you hear him? How sloppy his incantation was?" Tracy spat. She looks up at the siblings, as they look at her in realization.
"You-"
"My brother -" This sets the Winchester off as they go to draw their guns again. "Always was a little dim." Tracy throws her hand up, yelling an incantation, sending the three flying back and hitting the ground and writhing around in pain.
"You son of a bitch!" Theo spits out, groaning in pain, her brothers doing the same.
"He was gonna make me the final sacrifice, his idea, but now, that honour goes to him. Our master's return? The spellwork's a two-man job you understand, so for six hundred years, I had to deal with that pompous son of a bitch. Planning, preparing, unbearable." Tracy says with venom. She kneels by Don's body, picking up the knife and chalice. "The whole time I wanted to rip his face off."
Tracy starts digging the knife into Don's bullet wound, holding the chalice up to catch the blood flow. She looks back over to Dean, Sam and Theo, who are still writhing in pain on the floor clutching their stomachs.
"And you get him with a gun, uh, love that." She stands back up, walking over to the alter on the table. You know, back in the day, this was the one day you kept your children inside. Well, tonight you'll all see what Halloween is."
Tracy starts another incantation and Sam, still clutching his stomach in pain, makes his way to Don's body, putting his hand in blood and smearing it on his face. The twins see him and whisper.
"What are you doing?" Dean whispers, Theo looking at Sam with a confused yet painful look.
"Just follow my lead," Sam says. He spreads blood over Dean and Theo's faces as well, moving back away from Don.
As Tracy finishes the incantation, the ground cracks in front of Don and black smoke pours out of it, and into his body of Don. Theo tenses her jaw, knowing that they were unable to stop his rising, and another seal had been broken. Don's eyes shoot open, now white with the pupil staying black, his body now being controlled by Samhain. Dean, Sam and Theo lie still on the floor, their torture finished. Samhain rises off the floor, looking at Tracy's back that is turned to him, his vision blurry. He then walks over to her and she turns around, smiling at him as Samhain kisses her.
"My love." She says.
"You've aged," Samhain says, caressing Tracy's cheek.
"This face...I can't fool you."
"Your beauty is beyond time." The two lean in, their foreheads resting together before he suddenly snaps her neck sideways, her body falling to the floor. "Whore"
He turns around as he sniffs the air before looking down and seeing Dean, Sam and Theo lying on the floor. He walks over and looks at them for a second, and because of his blurry vision and them not moving, as well as the blood on their face, he is unable to see them. After another second, he walks past them and leaves, shutting the door behind him. Theo opens her eyes and leans over to Sam, whispering so that Samhain doesn't hear them.
"What the hell was that?" Theo questions.
"Halloween lore. People used to wear masks to hide from him, so I gave it a shot."
"You gave it a shot?!" Dean exclaims, looking at him not believing that they took a chance like that on an idea Sam had from reading lore. Theo begins chuckling, trying to be quiet encase Samhain hears. "How are you laughing at that."
"Because it's just funny that Sam risked our lives on a shot." She says, looking at Sam. "You are an amazing little brother."
==
The three leave Don's house and walk across the street toward the impala, wiping the blood off their faces.
"Where the hell are we gonna find the mook?" Dean questions.
"Where would you go to raise other dark forces of the night?"
"The cemetery," Theo says, opening the driver side door.
"Yeah," Sam says, getting in the back while Dean walks around and gets in the passenger side. Theo turns the engine on and drives off towards the cemetery. Sam leans forwards, resting his arms on the front seat. "So, this demon's pretty powerful."
"Yeah," Dean says, nodding.
"Might take more than then usual weapons." Sam glances at Dean and Theo out of the corner of his eyes, and the two get what he's suggesting. Theo shakes her head.
"Sam, no, you're not using your psychic whatever. Don't even think about it. Ruby's knife is enough." She says.
"Why?"
"Well because the angels said so for one –"
"I thought you said they were a bunch of fanatics," Sam says, Theo looks to Dean.
"You said that?" She chuckles, looking back at the road. "Not wrong."
"Well, they happen to be right about this one," Dean says, to which Theo nods in agreement.
"I don't know, guys, it doesn't seem like they're right about much."
"Well then forget the angels, okay?" Theo looks to Sam, brows furrowed. "You said yourself, these powers, it's like playing with fire." Dean picks up the knife and holds it out to Sam.
"Please." He says. Sam looks at the knife before grabbing it, not saying anything as he leans back, looking out the window.
"We're sorry Sammy, we're doing this for your good," Theo says, looking in the rearview mirror at Sam, seeing his frown. She sees that he goes to say something before shutting his mouth. She sighs, concentrating back on the road.
==
At the cemetery, there's a bunch of teenagers in a room in the mausoleum, walking around in costumes as rap music plays. Justin stands there looking around.
"Dude, I'm tripping balls!" He says. Footsteps echoed around and Justin notices. "Yo, shh, be quiet, it's the cops." Everyone scuttles around to hide; the music is turned off.  The person walks down fully, revealing it to be Samhain as he walks towards the room they are partying in. Justin notices it's him. "Mr Harding? I mean, Don?" Samhain closes the gate to the room, locking it. As he walks away, he runs his hand across the gate. Justin tried to open said gate, but it doesn't budge. "Don, you, uh, you locked us in."
Justin tried the door again, and it stays locked, but the doors to the crypts in the room start to shake. The teenagers back away into corners, but Justin looks to one side and begins to back to the other side. A door comes open, and hands reach out and grab his ankles. Justin screams as a zombie drags him off his feet and into the crypt, a second later blood splatters out of the crypt, squirting out and covering the ground in front of the crypt. The teens start to freak out and try to get the gate open. Sam, Dean and Theo rush down the stairs, hearing them pleading.
"Help then," Sam says.
"Dude, you're not going off alone," Dean says.
"I'm coming with you," Theo says, but Sam stops her.
"Do it!" He orders. Sam runs off after Samhain and the twins look after him for a second but then look back at the teens, Theo motioning for them to move.
"Stand back! Stand back!" She shouts. The teens move away from the gate and Theo shoots the lock, kicking open the door to let them all out.
"Go out, come on, get out, move!" Dean shouts. As the teens rush past them, Dean and Theo look around the mausoleum as the doors shake, watching as one of the grave doors crashes to the ground and breaks. A zombie crawls out of it and stands up as another grave door crashes to the ground and the zombie in the next grave over starts to crawl out as well. Dean puts down the duffel bag as he and Theo pull out a weapon the second zombie gets up, as the two hold up what looks like a silver stake.
"The parties just started."
"Bring it on, stinky."

The three arrive at Tracy's school, all in formal wear. Theo walks into a room full of art marks, looking up and seeing a bunch more hanging down. She sees a demonic-looking one and focuses on it. She hears screams and screeches in her ear - as if she's dreaming again before she feels someone walk up behind her.
"Man, these are freaky," Dean says, causing Theo to turn around to see him and Sam looking at the masks.
"Bring back memories?" Sam asks.
"What do you mean?" Theo asks, looking at him.
"Being a teenager, all that angst."
"No Sammy, I think that was just you." Dean jokes. Theo sighs, a little relieved that her brothers didn't see what was going on when she was staring at the mask.
"Oh." She says, eyes darting around at the masks.
"What'd you think I meant?" Sam asks.
"Nothing." Theo shakes her head. Dean looks over at the students, nudging Theo to look. They look over to see a student, putting a large bong-shaped piece into a kiln.
"Now that brings back memories," Dean says, chuckling. Theo chuckles back, nodding.
"Dude, I need a bigger kiln." The student says, releasing it's too small to fit his clay bong-shaped piece.
"You three wanted to talk to me?" Someone says from behind them, they turn to see a teacher carrying a box with a mug on top.
"Ah, Mr Harding." Sam greets.
"Oh, please, Don." He says, shaking Sam's hand.
"Okay, Don," Theo says as Don shakes her hand too before reaching out to shake Dean's.
"Even my students call me Don." He says, shaking Dean's hand.
"Yeah, we get it, Don," Dean replies as Don walks past them to place his box on the table. Dean, Sam and Theo then pull out their badges.
"I'm agent Getty, this is Agent Lee." Dean gestures to Sam. "And Agent Gibbs." He gestures to Theo. Don turns around looking at the badges. "We just had a few questions about, uh, Tracy Davis." They put their badges away. Don has a surprised look on his face.
"Uh, yeah, Tracy, uh, bright kid, loads of talent. It's a shame she got suspended." Don says. The three share a quick look of confusion.
"Uh, you two had a... uh, violent altercation." Dean questions.
"Yeah, she exploded. If Principal Murrow hadn't walked by when he did, Tracy would have clawed my eyes out."
"Why?"
"I, uh, you know, I was only trying to rap with her about her work. It had gotten inappropriate and disturbing."
"More disturbing, than, uh, those guys?" Theo asks, turning around and indicating the angry masks hanging on the wall and the ceiling.
"She would cover page after page with these bizarre cryptic symbols, and then there were the drawings." Don explained, "Detailed images of killings, gory, primitive, and she would depict herself in the middle of them, participating."
"Symbols, what kind of symbols? Uh, anything like this?" Sam holds up a bag to Don, showing a silver Celtic coin inside.
"Yeah, yeah, I think that might have been one of them."
"You know where Tracy is now?" Theo asks.
"I would imagine her apartment," Don says.
"Her apartment?" Dean questions.
"Yeah, she got here about a year ago, alone, as I understood it, as an emancipated teen. God only knows what her parents were like." Don says the three siblings share a look before Theo looks back to Don.
"Can you write it down for us please?" She asks, smiling.
==
Theo drives up and parks her car outside of their motel, turning the engine off before getting out. Dean gets out of the passenger side. Sam walks over to the two, having been to Tracy's apartment and finding nothing. The three now dressed back into their normal wear, Theo chewing on a lollypop.
"So?" Dean asks.
"Tracy was nowhere I could find. Any luck with her friends?" Theo shakes her head.
"Nah, luck is not our style. Her friends don't know where she is. It's like the bitch popped a broomstick." She jokes as the three make their way to their room.
"She could be making the third sacrifice any time," Sam says.
"Yes, thank you, Sam." They get close to their room before getting stopped by a kid dressed as an astronaut, holding out his sweet bucket to them.
"Trick or treat," He says.
"This is a motel," Dean says, gesturing around.
"So?"
"So we don't have any candy."
"No, we have a ton in the uh..." Sam looks back and points to the impala. Theo looks at him, sheepishly.
"We did, but it's gone." She gestures to her lolly in her mouth. "Last one." Sam looks between his older siblings, getting what she means. The kid looks unimpressed and Dean looks down at him.
"Sorry kid, we can't help ya," Dean says.
"I want candy." The kid says, huffing.
"Well, I think you've had enough," Dean says, causing Theo to pinch his arm and glare at him. Dean looks to her shrugging before backing at the kid, who glares at him and narrows his eyes. The kid then walks past Dean, shoving into him and Dean puts his hands up.
Sam unlocks their motel room and enters before immediately drawing his gun, and moving forwards in an offensive stance, ready to attack. Dean quickly followed.
"Who are you?!" Sam shouts. Theo rushes in, trying to stop the two.
"Sam! Dean! Wait, it's Castiel!" Dean puts his gun down the second he sees Cas, but Sam remained with his gun pointing in shock. "The angel." Theo puts her hand on his gun, pushing it down as Sam looks at Castiel, stunned. Theo notices the other man in the room, standing by the window. "Him, I don't know." Sam looks at Castiel in wonder and a smile crosses his face. Cas looks to Dean first.
"Hello, Dean." Cas greets. Dean nods "I am sorry about knocking you out the last time I saw you."
"It's no bother," Dean says, sarcastically. Can then looks to Sam.
"Hello, Sam." He walks forwards a little.
"Oh my God – er – uh – I didn't mean to – sorry." Sam stutters over his words, still stunned. "It's an honour, really, I – I've heard a lot about you." Sam steps forwards and holds out his hand to shake Castiel's.
Dean goes and closes the door to their room while Theo stares at the two, the lollypop still in her mouth. Castiel looks at Sam's hand, not too sure about what he wants. Sam then shakes it a little, and Castiel finally understands and shakes Sam's hand.
"And I, you. Sam Winchester - " Castiel then puts their other hand on top of Sam's. "The boy with the demon blood. Glad to see you've ceased your extracurricular activities."
"Let's keep it that way." The man at the window says, still facing it.
"Yeah, okay, chuckles," Dean says. Theo looks to Cas.
"Who's Mr Grumpy over there." She asks.
"This the raising of Samhain, have you stopped it?" Cas questions, not answering her question.
"Why?" Theo asks.
"Theodora, have you located the witch?"
"Yes, we've located the witch." She says.
"And is the witch dead?"
"No, but -"
"We know who it is." Dean finishes. Castiel takes the lolly out of Theo's mouth, making it disappear.
"Huh, what - I wasn't finished-" She watches as Castiel walks over to the table by the bed.
"Apparently the witch knows who you are too." He picks up a hex back, showing it to them. "This was inside the wall of your room. If we hadn't found it, surely one or all of you would be dead. Do you know where the witch is now?" The siblings exchange a look.
"We're working on it," Theo says as they look back to Cas.
"That's unfortunate," Cas says, looking over to the mystery man at the window.
"What do you care?" Dean asks.
"The raising of Samhain is one of the 66 seals," Castiel says.
"So this is about your buddy Lucifer?" Theo asks.
"Lucifer is no friend of ours." The mystery man says.
"It's just an expression," Theo says, side glancing at the man.
"Lucifer cannot rise. The breaking of the seal must be prevented at all costs."
"Okay, great, well now that you're here, why don't you tell us where the witch is, we'll gank her and everybody goes home," Dean says
"We are not omniscient. This witch is very powerful, she's cloaked even our methods." Cas explains.
"Okay, well we already know who she is, so if we work together –" Sam says, but is cut off by the man.
"Enough of this."
"Okay, who are you and why should I care?" Theo says, glaring at the man. He turns from the window, looking at Theo.
"This is Uriel, he's what you might call a... specialist," Cas says, looking at him. Uriel walks towards them.
"What kind of specialist?" Dean questions, as the group looks to Uriel, "What are you gonna do?"
"You – uh, three of you – you need to leave this town immediately," Cas warns.
"Why?" Theo questions.
"Because we're about to destroy it." Sam, Dean and Theo exchange a worried glance. Theo looks to Uriel, slight anger spreading across her face.
"So, this is your plan, you're gonna smite the whole friggin' town?" She says.
"There are a thousand people here," Sam says.
"One thousand two hundred fourteen."
"You son of a bitch." Theo says teeth gritted.
"And you're willing to kill them all?"
"This isn't the first time I've... purified a city."
"Look, I understand this is regrettable," Cas says, trying to ease the mood.
"Regrettable?" Dean questions.
"We have to hold the line. Too many seals have broken already."
"So, you screw the pooch on some seals and this town has to pay the price?" Theo says, looking to Cas.
"It's the lives of one thousand against the lives of six billion. There's a bigger picture here."
"Right, 'cause your bigger picture kind of guys," Theo says, snarky. Cas steps forwards, staring straight into Theo's eyes.
"Lucifer cannot rise. He does and hell rises with him. Is that something that you're willing to risk?" Cas says, Theo, biting her tongue.
"We'll stop this witch before she summons anyone," Dean says, looking between the two angels.
" Your seal won't be broken and no one has to die," Sam adds. The brothers trying to negotiate. Castiel continues to stare into Theo's eyes as if he's waiting for her to say something.
"We're wasting time with these mud monkeys," Uriel says. Cas turns away from Theo to Uriel.
"I'm sorry, but we have our orders."
"No, you can't do this, your’re angels," Sam says, causing Uriel to slightly chuckle. "I mean aren't you supposed to – You're supposed to show mercy."
"Says who?" He says.
"We have no choice," Cas says, his back facing the Winchesters.
"Of course, you have a choice. I mean, come on, what? You've never questioned a crap order, huh? What are you both, just a couple of hammers?" Theo says, clearly pissed over the whole situation.
"Look, even if you can't understand it, have faith. The plan is just."
"How can you even say that?" Sam asks.
"Because it comes from heaven, that makes it just," Cas says, turning to face him.
"Oh, it must be nice, to be so sure of yourselves," Dean says.
"Tell me something, Dean, when your father gave you an order, didn't you obey?" Dean looks to Cas, not saying anything. Theo glares at Cas, knowing that's pissed her off more than he brought up her father.
"Well, sorry boys look like the plans have changed." She says, causing Cas to tilt his head at her.
"You think you can stop us?" Uriel questions, an amused look on his face.
"No, but if you're gonna smite this whole town, then you're gonna have to smite us with it because we are not leaving," Theo says, all the while walking over to Uriel, standing face to face. "See, you went to the trouble of busting me out of hell. As well as keeping me alive all those years ago.  I figure I'm worth something to the man upstairs. So, you wanna waste me, go ahead, see how he digs that."
"He is worth something to the man upstairs too." Uriel gestures to Dean. "You are worth, with what you've got inside you. And you bet I will drag you out of here myself." Uriel threatens, but Theo remains unfazed.
"Yeah, but you'll have to kill us, then we're back to the same problem. I mean, come on, you're gonna wipe out a whole town for one little witch. Sounds to me like you're compensating for something." Theo smirks at Uriel. She then turns back around and walks back over to Cas, staring him right in the eyes. "We can do this. We will find that witch and we will stop the summoning."
"Castiel! I will not let these people-"
"Enough!" Castiel says, cutting Uriel off by holding his hand up to him. Cas stares at Theo for a second. "I suggest you move quickly." Sam and Dean walk out of the motel room, Theo stands back a little. She hears the flap of wings. "I can tell you want to ask me something." Theo turns to now just see Cas in the room, Uriel no longer there.
"This thing inside me, this, Grace?" She asks, Cas nods.
"What about it? Is something the matter with it?" Cas steps forward, going to place his hand on her head.
"What no, no. It's fine, I think?" She says, shaking her head. "But what Uriel said - How I'm worth it to god because of what's inside me. Just exactly who's Grace do I have inside me? It can't just be a regular angel. N-No offence, but I don't think people will be busting their assess off to keep me alive if this grace in me isn't important." Cas sighs, looking down to the floor before looking back up to Theo.
"You are correct, He had saved you after you were injured badly, with no chance of surviving. No one knows why, perhaps because you were a Winchester, or perhaps because he could tell your potential-
"ASTRONAUT!" Dean shoots from outside. Theo looks to Cas.
"Hold on a second." She goes to the door and sticks her head out, seeing the mess on her car. "What the hell happened?! My poor baby, I did nothing to that kid?!" She groans, walking towards them. "Right before we leave anywhere, you two are cleaning this up." She throws Dean the keys to the Impala, before walking back to the room.
"Where are you going?" Dean asks.
"To talk with Cas." She says, walking straight into the room and closing it behind her. Sam and Dean exchange a look, shrugging before looking at the egged Impala. The two looks at each other, holding out their hands before playing rock paper scissors, as to who will clean the car while the other gets some food. They do the round and Dean groans as he loses, all while Sam laughs.
"Always me dammit." Dean rolls up his sleeves while Sam watches him with amusement before leaving.
Back inside the motel room, Theo turns to Cas, gesturing her hand to him for him to continue. She leans against the post of the room, looking at the angel.
"As I was saying, what he didn't know is that his Grace would somehow bond with your soul," Cas explained.
"Yeah, you've told me that but who saved me?" Cas looks her in the eyes, "Who's grace could possibly be in my soul that makes Heaven want to keep me alive?"
"Gabriel." Cas says, "The archangel, Gabriel's grace bonded to you..."

The three are standing in the kitchen of a murder scene, dressed as federal agents. Sam talks to the wife of the victim while Theo and Dean look around.
"Now how many razor blades did they find?" Sam asks. The woman sighs and responds nearly in tears.
"Two on the floor, one in his stomach and one was stuck in his throat. He swallowed four of them. How is that even possible?" She asks. She notices Theo looking around the front of the stove and in the oven door. "The candy was never in the oven." Theo looks at her, closing the over.
"We just have to be thorough, Mrs Wallace." She responds.
"Did the police find any razors in the rest of the candy?" Sam asks, bringing Mrs Wallace's attention back to him.
"No, I mean, I don't think so." Dean walks over to the fridge, opening and closing it before noticing scuff marks on the floor where it shows the fridge has been moved. Dean tries to reach behind the fridge, but his arm is too big. His eyes meet Theo's confused ones and he gestures to her for help. She does so.
"I just – I can't believe it. You hear urban legends about this stuff, but it happens?" She says. Theo grabs something and looks down to see what it is. Her jaw clenching. She turns around to show Dean and he grabs it.
"More than you might imagine." Theo stands up and she and Dean walk forward, gaining Sam's attention. Dean holds up a hex bag that Theo found behind the fridge. He shows it to Sam, who looks at it in realisation. Dean quickly hides it before Mrs Wallace could see it. Theo walks over to Sam, standing beside him and looking at Mrs Wallace.
"Mrs Wallace, did Luke have any enemies?" She asks.
"Enemies?" Mrs Wallace repeats. Theo nods.
"Anyone who might have held a grudge against him?"
"What do you mean?"
"Co-workers? Neighbours? Maybe a woman." Sam says. Theo bites her tongue at Sam's choice of words. Mrs Wallace gets what Sam means and gets offended.
"Are you suggesting an affair?" She asks.
"Is it possible?" Sam asks.
"No! No, Luke would never–" Mrs Wallace says, getting upset.
"We're very sorry. We just have to consider all possibilities." Theo says, trying to help Sam.
"If someone wanted to kill my husband, don't you think they'd find a better way than a razor in a piece of candy he might eat?" Theo and Sam share a look at Dean, who raises his eyes at the two.
==
In the motel room, Sam is sitting on a couch, with his laptop and a few books on the coffee table in front of him, flipping the pages of the books. He picks up something from the hex bag that looks organic and holds it up. Theo and Dean enter the room and she tosses her keys on the table under the window as she and Dean unwrap a piece of candy before tossing it in each other's mouths, laughing when they both get them in. Sam sees them do this.
"Really? After that guy choked down all those razor blades?" Sam questions.
"It's Halloween, man," Dean says.
"Yeah, for us every day is Halloween" Dean sits down on the arm of the couch and looks at Sam's research while Theo sits down directly beside Sam, doing the same.
"Don't be a downer." She says, nudging Sam with her arm. "Anything interesting?"
"Well, we're on a witch hunt, that's for sure, but this isn't your typical hex bag." Sam indicates the hex bag that is open now on the table. There is a silver piece, the size of a coin, and something small and charred in addition to the organic thing- which looks like a dried-up flower.
"Hmm, no?" Dean asks. Sam picks up the dried flower looking piece.
"Goldthread, a herb that's been extinct for two hundred years. And this – " He picks up the silver piece. "is Celtic, and I don't mean some new age knock-off. It looks like the real deal, like 600 years old real." Theo picks up the small charred thing and smells it.
"And um... that is the charred metacarpal bone of a newborn baby." Theo stops sniffing it and looks at it in disgust, putting it back down.
"Gross" Dean mutters.
"Relax guys, it's like, at least a hundred years old."
"Oh, right, like that makes it better? Witches, man, they're so friggin' skeevy." Dean says, moving over to the chair next to the couch and sitting down.
"Yeah, well it takes a pretty powerful one to put a bag like this together. More juice than we've ever dealt with, that's for sure. What about you two?" Sam asks, looking between Theo and Dean. "Find anything on the victim?"
"This Luke Wallace? He was so vanilla that he made vanilla seem spicy." Theo says. Sam scoffs at their lack of leads.
"We can't find any reason why somebody would want this guy dead," Dean adds.
==
Later that night, the three come down the stairs to the scene of the crime, where a girl was killed. They look over to a blond girl, Tracy, who is wrapped up in a blanket and talking to a police officer.
"Have you been drinking?" The officer asks.
"Yes," The girl replies. Theo goes to join the questioning and Dean puts his hand up to stop her.
"I got this one." Dean licks his lips. Sam sighs while Theo rolls her eyes.
"Two words: jail bait," Sam says.
"I would never –" Sam and Theo just roll their eyes at Dean, the two walking over to the couch and starting lifting the cushions, looking for the hex bag. Dean smirks behind their backs.
"It's just weird. The water in the tub - it wasn't hot, I had just been in there myself." Tracy explains.
"Your friend didn't happen to know a man named Luke Wallace?" Dean asks, walking over to Tracy. She turns to him, and he holds up a badge. "Agent Seger, F.B.I" The officer had walked away once Dean said who he was.
"Um, who's Luke Wallace?" Tracy asks.
"He died yesterday."
"I don't know who that is." Theo shares a look with Sam, pulling the Hex bag out from behind the cushion. His eyes lock as his jaw clenches. Theo then holds it up to Dean, nodding to which Dean replies the same and then looks down at Tracy.
==
Back in the motel, Dean and Theo are at the table, Dean on the computer with Theo beside him reading a book. Sam is lying on the bed looking through books before sitting up, looking intently at the book he is reading.
"I'm telling you, both these vics are squeaky clean," Dean says, Theo looks over to the computer, eyebrow raised.
"Then there is no reason for a wicked bitch payback," Theo adds, leaning back into her chair. She grabs her bottle of beer, drinking.
"Maybe cause it's not about that," Sam says, still staring intently down at the book. The twins look over at him questioningly.
"Wow, insightful."
"What a team player," Theo says, crossing her arms. Sam looks over to the two.
"Maybe this witch isn't working the grudge, maybe they're working a spell," Sam suggested. Sam stands up from the bed as he reads from the book. "Three blood sacrifices over three days, the last before midnight on the final day of the final harvest." Sam sits in the chair opposite Dean, handing Theo the book - who moves it over so Dean can look over at it. "Celtic Calendar, the final day of the final harvest is October 31st."
"Halloween." Dean and Theo say in unison.
"Exactly."
"What exactly are the, uh, blood sacrifices for?" Dean asks.
"Uh, if I'm right, this witch is summoning a demon, and not just any demon – Samhain," Sam says.
"Am I supposed to be impressed?" Dean questions, looking up at him. Theo sighs.
"Dean, Samhain is the damn origin of Halloween." She answers, shaking her head. Sam nods at her.
"The Celts believe that October 31st was the one night of the year when the veil was the thinnest between the living and the dead, and it was Samhain's night." Sam explains, as Dean turns grabs the book from Theo and begins turning the pages on the book, "I mean, masks were put on to hide from him, sweets left on doorsteps to appease him, faces carved into pumpkins to worship him. He was exorcised centuries ago."
"So even though Samhain took a trip downstairs, the tradition stuck," Dean says.
"Exactly, only now instead of demons and blood orgies Halloween is all about kids, candy and costumes."
"Okay, so some witch wants to raise Samhain and take back the night?" Theo says, Dean chuckling a little as she takes another sip of her beer.
"Guys, this is serious."
"We are serious."
"We're talking heavyweight witchcraft. This ritual can only be performed every six hundred years." Sam says
"And the six-hundred-year marker rolls around...?"
"Tomorrow night." Sam finishes.
"Naturally," Theo mutters. Dean looks down at the book at the picture of a demon ahead of bodies, holding a severed head in his hand.
"Well, it sure is a lot of death and destruction for one demon," Dean says.
"That's because he likes company. Once he's raised, Samhain can do some raising of his own."
"Raising what, exactly?" Theo asks, looking to Sam.
"Dark, evil crap and lots of it, I mean, they follow him around like the friggin' Pied Piper."
"So, we're talking ghosts," Dean asks.
"Yeah." Sam nods.
"Zombies," Theo asks.
"Mm-hmm." Sam hums in response.
"Leprechauns?" Dean says, dead serious.
"Dean," Sam says, exasperated and shaking his head.
"Those little dudes are scary. Small hands." Theo looks to him, nodding.
"Look, it just starts with ghosts and ghouls, this sucker keeps ongoing, by night's end we are talking every awful thing we have ever seen. Everything we fight, all in one place" Theo's face drops, jaw clenching.
"It's gonna be a slaughterhouse." She says, the boys nodding.
==
The next day, Dean and Theo are sitting in the Impala outside of the Wallace house, watching and eating candy. Theo finishes one - throwing the rapper on the set between the two. Her stomach churns, causing her to wince a little and hold her stomach. Dean looks at her.
"You okay there Theo?" Dean questions, popping another sweet in his mouth. "Got a stomach ache?" Theo shakes her head. "Maybe mother nature being a bitch?"
"Nah Nah, demons are safe from that wrath right now. Must be a stomach ache, the man thought I trained myself well enough to not get stomach aches." Dean chomps down on another, suddenly getting the same feeling as Theo, causing her to look at him, "You too?" Dean nods.
"Must be a stomach ache then, cause I ain't a girl." Dean throws the wrapper on the seat between the two. Theo chuckles. A phone begins ringing and Theo pats her body to feel for it, before grabbing it out of her pocket and checking the ID.
"It's Sam." She answers the phone, putting it between hers and Dean's ears. "Hey."
"How's it going?" Sam asks, sitting in the motel room.
"Awesome, yeah, we talked with Mrs Razor Blade again. We've been sitting out in front of her house for hours and We've got a big steamy pile of nothing." Theo says.
"Look guys, someone planted those hex bags, someone with access to both houses. There's gotta be some connection."
"Yeah, well I hope we find 'em soon cause I'm starting to cramp like a –" Dean cuts himself off as he looks over to the house, spotting someone, "Son of a bitch." Theo follows his gaze, eyes widening. Across the street, Tracy walks up to the Wallace house.
"Quit whining, Dean. Theo goes through this every month; I think you can deal with it-"
"No Sam, he means, son of a bitch." Theo says as the twins watch Tracy walk up the steps to the door and knock - Mrs Wallace opening the door with her baby in her arms.
==
The two head back to the motel room, entering as Dean throws the motel room key down onto the table, walking over to Sam - who is lying on the bed with his laptop open.
"So, our apple-bobbing cheerleader?" Sam questions, looking up at the two.
"Tracy?" Dean says, Sam, humming in response.
"The Wallaces' babysitter," Theo replies, pointing to Dean before taking off her jacket. "Told Dean she never even heard of Luke Wallace." Dean does the same as he throws his jacket onto his bed.
"Huh, interesting look for a centuries-old witch," Sam says, his gaze going back to his laptop.
"Yeah, well, if you were a six-hundred-year-old hag and you could pick any costume to come back in, wouldn't you go for a hot cheerleader? I would, hmm..." Dean says, sitting down on the other bed and getting lost in thoughts about that. Theo rolls her eyes, sitting down beside him. Sam furrows his brows before Dean notices the two and raises his eyebrows at them innocently.
"Of course, you'd think that," Theo mutters.
"And you wouldn't imagine a guy wearing a police uniform?" Dean says.
"Hey, no dissing the police uniform...I'd happily use those handcuffs." Theo says, smirking before she loses herself in her thoughts before Sam clears his throat, causing her to look at him. "Anyway, continue Sammy." Sam looks back down at his laptop.
"Well, Tracy's not as wholesome as she looks. Did some digging – apparently she got into a violent altercation with one of her teachers, got suspended from school." Sam explains, passing the laptop over to the others. They read the information besides the picture of Tracy.
"Sheesh, could someone hate a teacher that bad?" Theo questions.

The three made their way back to the sheriff's station, dressed back up in their agent disguises. Sam and Dean stand at the desk of the deputy, who walks over to them carrying a folder. Theo stands back away from them.
"This is the Garland file." Linus says, handing Sam and Dean the file-who opens it. He looks over their shoulders to see Theo swaying. She looks over at the elder lady in the waiting room. "Is she...drunk?" Sam and Dean turn to face her, and she turns to face them. She winks and gives them a thumbs up weakly. The brothers turn to face the deputy.
"No."  Dean replies shaking his head.
"Deputy, according to this, Luther Garland's cause of death was physical trauma." Sam says, pointing at the folder. "What does that mean?"
"The guy died 20 years ago, before my time. Sorry."
"Then can we talk to the sheriff?" Sam asks, gesturing his head to the sheriff's office.
"Um, he's out sick today."
"Well, if you see him, will you have him call us?" Dean asks. Behind the two, Theo holds up her hand, looking at it intently. "We're staying at the Bluebird. Mind if I take this?" The deputy shakes his head and the brothers walk of. Theo smiles and points at the deputy.
"Know what?" Theo asks. "You're awesome."
"Thanks. Um, y-you too, I guess." The deputy replies, smiling awkwardly.  Theo chuckles and Dean comes back, wrapping his arm around her shoulder and pulling her along.
==
The three arrive at the Peaceful Pines Assisted Living at night and walk inside. They turn a corner only for Theo to be startled by an elderly resident that they bump into in the hallway.
"This isn't gonna work. Come on, these badges are fake. What if we get busted?" Theo panics. The three stops as Dean holds her shoulder.
"Theo, shh! Calm down." Dean hisses. Theo shakes her head.
"How can I, we could go to jail."
"You have to calm down, Theo." Sam says. "Deep breath, okay?" Sam takes a deep breath to which Theo imitates. "There. You feel better?" She shakes her head no. "Just come on." Sam pulls her along back down the hallway. Dean on her other side. "Don't scratch." They walk into a cafeteria to where they see someone sat at a table, leaning on his hand. Sam clears his throat.
"Mr. Garland. Hi uh, I'm Agent Tyler. This is Agent Perry, and Agent Kramer." Sam says, gesturing to the twins. "FBI. We'd like to ask you a few questions about your brother Luther." Mr. Garland clasps his hands together, looking up at the three.
"Let me see some I.D." He asks. Theo quickly looks at her brothers with fear.
"Certainly." Dean says, staring at Theo. They pull out their I.D.'s and shows them to Mr. Garland.  The man takes them to inspect them closer. He looks up at Theo and she smiles nervously.
"Those are real, obviously." She says as Sam clears her throat in waning.  She looks at him before back at Mr. Garland. "I mean, who would pretend to be an FBI agent, huh? That's just nutty." Dean kicks her in the leg, making her hold back a groan of pain. Theo quietly looks to her brothers, seeing them flash Mr. Garland a small smile.
"Don't mind her." Dean says. "Just nervous that she'll miss her date." Mr. Garland sighs and hands their badges back.
"What do you want to know?" He asks. Sam opens the folder and sits down at the table.
"Uh, well...according to this, your brother Luther died of physical trauma." Mr Garland scoffs. "You don't agree"
"No, I don't" He says.
"Well, then, what would you call it?" Dean asks as he and Theo sits down too.
"Don't matter what an old man thinks."
"Mr. Garland. We're just trying to get the truth on your brother. Please." Sam says. MR. Garland sighs, picking up his brother's I.D. card.
"Everybody was scared of Luther. They called him a monster." He explained. "He was too big, too mean-looking. Just too different. Didn't matter he was the kindest man I ever knew. Didn't matter he'd never hurt no one." The elder man's eyes tear up slightly "A lot of people failed Luther. I was one of them. I was a widower with three young 'uns. And I told myself there was nothing I could do."
"Mr. Garland, um...do you recognize this woman?" Sam asks, showing him the drawing of a woman that they have found in the mill.
"It's Jessie O'Brien. Her man, Frank, killed Luther." He replies, nodding. Theo, Dean and Sam share a look before back at the man.
"Hoe do you know that?" Dean asks.
"Everybody knows. They just don't talk about it. Jessie was a receptionist at the mill. She was always real nice to Luther, and he had a crush on her. But Frank didn't like it. And when Jessie went missing, Frank was sure that Luther had done something to her. Turns out the old gal killed herself, but Frank didn't know that. They found Luther with a chain wrapped around his neck. He was dragged up and down the stretch outside that plant till he was past dead."
"And O'Brien was never arrested?" Theo asks, slight anger in her face.
"I screamed to every cop in town." He answers. "They didn't want to look into Frank. He was a pillar of the community. My brother was just the town freak."
"You must have hated Frank O'Brien." Sam notes.
"I did for a long time, but life's too short for hate, son. And frank wasn't thinking straight. His wife had vanished, he was terrified. A damn shame he had to put Luther through the same, but...that's fear. It spreads and spreads."
==
They leave the Assisted Living Centre and Theo gestures to her arm while walking down the stairs.
"Now we know what these are, road rash. And I'm guessing Luther swallowed some wood chips when he was being dragged down that road." She says, walking around to the driver’s side of the Impala.
"Makes sense. You're experiencing his death in slow motion." Sam says.
"Yeah well, not slow enough, huh? Say we burn some bones and get me healthy." Sam shakes his head.
"Theo, it won't be that easy" He says.
"No, no, it'll be that easy. Why wouldn't it be that easy?"
"Luther was road-hauled." Dean says. "His body was ripped to pieces. He was probably scattered all over that road. There's no way we're gonna find all the remains."
"You're kidding me." Theo says with defeat across her face.
"Look, we'll just have to figure something else out." Sam says.
"You know what? Screw this." She says, pacing forwards. Sam and Dean follows her, the two on the opposite side of the Impala to her.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Theo" Sam frowns.
"Come on. No, I mean, come on, Guys. What are we doing?!" She says.
"We're hunting a ghost."
"A ghost, exactly! Who does that?"
"Us."
"Us? Right. And those boys, that is exactly why our lives suck. I mean, come on, we hunt monsters! What the hell?! I mean, normal people, they see a monster, and they run. But not us, no, no, no, we -- we search out things that want to kill us. Yeah? Huh? Or eat us!" She shouts. "You know who does that? Crazy people! We...are insane! You know, and then there's the bad diner food and then the skeevy motel rooms and then the truck-stop waitress with the bizarre rash. I mean, who wants this life, Sam? Dean? Huh? Seriously? Do you actually like being stuck in a car with me eight hours a day, every single day?" She asks. "I don't think so! I mean, I drive too fast. A-And I always shout at you if you two try to drive my car. I'm annoying, I know that." She points at Sam. "And you --you're gassy! You eat half a burrito, and you get toxic!" She then points to Dean. "And you! You listen to the same five albums over and over again, and you sing along!"  I mean, you know what?" Theo tosses the keys to Dean, who shares a confused look with Sam before they look back at her. "You can forget it." She walks away.
"Whoa, Theo. where are you going?" Dean asks. She turns back around and points at the two.
"You two stay away from me, okay? Cause I am done with it. I'm done with the monsters and -- and -- and the hellhounds and the ghost sickness and the damn apocalypse. Hell, I'm done with babysitting you two! I'm out. I'm done. Quit." She says, walking away. Sam and Dean look at each other, groaning.
"Is she serious?" He asks.
"I have no idea" Theo walks down the street at night, unbuttoning her tie and top button. She stops in her steps when she hears growling and slowly turns around to see a pink-ribboned Yorkie. She stares down at it with terror.
"H-Hey there." She says, laughing nervously. "Aren't you a little c-cutie." The dog begins to get closer to her and Theo begins running down the road with the dog chasing her. She turns a corner and runs into a shopping cart, falling to the ground. She sees a homeless man rummaging through a garbage bin, who turns to face her with the sudden entrance. "Run! It'll kill you!" She points and the homeless man follows her finger to see the small dog. Theo quickly turns and begins running again while shouting at the same time.
==
Theo arrives back at the motel, breathing heavily. The door opens and Sam and Dean enters. Theo jumps slightly but sighs in relief when she sees it's her brothers.
"We looked everywhere for you, Theo. How the hell did you get here?" Dean asks as he and Sam walks towards her.
"Ran." She answers, looking up at them. Sam walks over to the other bed and sits down while Dean stands with his arms crossed in front of them. "What do we do now? I got less than four hours on the clock. I'm gonna die, guys."
"Yeah, you are." Sam says. Theo had a puzzle look "You're going back."
"Back?" Theo questions.
"Downstairs Theo, hell. It's about damn time, too." Theo's vision goes haze and begins shaking. "Truth is," Sam turns to Theo with yellow-eyes. "You've been a real pain in my ass." He throws Theo against wall with a hand gesture.
"No! You get out of my brothers, you evil son of a bitches!" She shouts, looking between her younger brother with yellow eyes and her twin brother who flashes black eyes, the two laughing as they stand up.
"No one's possessing me, Theo." Dean says, smirking.
"This is what I'm going to become. This is what I want to become. There's nothing you can do about it." Sam says, walking slowly over to Theo and placing his hand on her shoulder before he grabs her neck and begins choking her.
"Hey, hey, hey, Theo. Hey, Theo. Theodora. Theodora!" Dean says, making Theo snap out of her hallucination. She looks between her brothers to see their normal eyes and their worried expressions. She deeply breaths.
==
The next day, Theo is sitting in the motel alone while Dean and Sam have gone out to talk with Bobby. She sits down watching TV, all the while scratching her arm. She watches as a horse character on the tv is lassoed and dragged out.
"Oh, this isn't helping." She says, shivering as it reminds her of the case, she is...was working. Her cell phone later rings and she answer it. "Hey."
"Hey! So, uh, just ride out the trip, okay? You're -- you're gonna be fine. We got a plan."
"What is it?" Theo asks, turning off the TV.
"Uh, just a good plan, all right? Hang in there." Sam hangs up and Theo sighs. She begins rubbing her head and eyes. Suddenly dog howling, barking and snarling surround her. She looks around terrified. The door rattles and bangs violently, causing her to hide behind the chair she was just in. She watches as the door breaks off its hinges and in walks a familiar man.
"Sheriff?" She questions. "What are you doing?" She looks down and sees a gun in his hand.
"Why are you looking into Luther Garland's death?" He asks.
"Hey, hey, you're -- you're sick." Theo says, seeing blood on Britton's right arm. "You're sick. You're sick, all right? Just -- just like me, okay? You got to relax" She's then punched by the Sheriff.
"Frank O'Brien was my friend." He says. "So, he made a mistake. So, I didn't bust him. So what? And you're gonna bring me down over that?! No, ma'am." He raises his gun and points it at Theo, only for it to be swatted away. Britton pushed Theo against the wall, pushing his arm on her neck. She puts her hand over his mouth and tries to push him away only to then be punched in the stomach twice. The sheriff moves his arm and Theo takes this time to get a few punches in on his stomach but she's suddenly restraint again. She looks into his eyes and sees that they are black and she quickly pushes him back against the coffee table, smashing it. Britton starts to hyperventilate as Theo slowly walks towards him. "Get away from me!"
"Al, you got to calm down!" She says.
"Step back!" He shouts as he begins having a heart attack. He clutches his chest with one hand while the other is pointing at Theo. She watches as he begins choking before going limp. She looks around, panicked. She sits on the edge of her bed and begins to scratch her arm violently, leaving behind deep scratches. She begins hearing what Sam said during her hallucination.
"You're going back. It's about damn time too. Hahahaha."
Theo keeps looking down at her watch as she begins hearing barking again. Her breathing increases faster and she covers her watch-still hearing the ticking. She looks on the floor and leans down, picking up a bible. She holds it close to her face, closing her eyes and hoping to find comfort.
"Hi, Theodora." A cheery voice says from besides her. Theo opens her eyes and turns her head to see a young girl. She shakes her head.
"Huh, no! No!" She goes back to holding the bible to her face, closing her eyes.
"Yes! It's me, Lilith." Lilith says. She embraces Theo left arm, squishing her cheek to her arm. The action causes Theo to shoot her head up. "Oh, I missed you so much. It's time to go back now." Theo shakes and moves away from Lilith, causing her to frown. She stands up, not looking at the girl and points the bible at her.
"You - you are not real!"
"What's the matter, Theodora?" Lilith asks. "I used to be so scared of you, but then when we started playing together and you were so much fun. Don't you remember all the fun you had down there?" She stands up and begins slowly walking toward Theo, who glares at her. "You do remember. 4 months is like 40 years in hell. Like doggy years. And you remember every second." Theo groans and clutches her chest, falling to the ground in front of Lilith.
"You are not real." Theo says. Lilith grabs Theo's face with both her hands- bringing the woman's face to look into hers. Lilith's eyes are now white.
"It doesn't matter. You're still gonna die. You're still gonna burn." Lilith's eyes go back to normal as she smiles down at Theo.
"Why me? Why'd I get infected?" Theo asks.
"Silly goose. You know why, Theo. Listen to your heart."
"Whu...?"
"Baboom, baboom, baboom, baboom." Lilith imitates Theo's heartbeat, making every imitation hurt Theo more. She falls back onto the floor, clutching her chest tightly with wide eyes. This goes on for what seems like forever, until it stops. Theo opens her eyes and pants heavy- feeling the release of the pressure on her chest. She looks around the room before to her arm, seeing no scratches. She leans back against the bags, breathing in relief.
==
Bobby, Dean and Sam go back to the motel where they pick up Theo before driving out to the middle of nowhere. Theo pulls out three bottles from the Impala and hands one to Dean, Sam and Bobby- who declines the offer.
"So, you guys road-hauled a ghost with a chain?" She asks, opening her beer bottle.
"Iron chain etched with spell work." Dean says, taking a sip of beer.
"Hmm, that's a new one." She says, drinking.
"It was what he was most afraid of. It was pretty brutal, though." Sam says.
"On the upside, I'm still alive, so uh, go team!"
"Yeah. How you feeling, by the way?" Dean asks, looking at her.
"Fine."
"You sure, Theo?" Bobby asks. "'Cause this line of work can get awful scary." He says jokingly.
"I'm fine." She says, rolling her eyes. You want to go hunting? I'll hunt. I'll kill anything."
"Awwww, he's adorable." Bobby says, causing Dean and Sam to laugh while Theo looks away with the bottle in her mouth. "I got to get out of here. You boys drive safe."
"You too, Bobby." Sam says. Bobby gets in his car. "Hey, thanks." He drives away, leaving the siblings behind.
"So, uh...so, what did you see?" Dean asks. "Near the end, I mean."
"Oh, besides a cop beating my ass?" Theo asks sarcastically.
"Seriously." Dean says. Theo looks at Sam and Dean and sees their eyes flash yellow and black. Theo sucks her teeth, sighing.
"Howler monkeys. Whole roomful of them. Those things creep the hell out of me."
"Right."
"No, just the usual stuff, boys. Nothing I can't handle." Theo says, taking a sip of her beer and looking out into the distance.

The next day, Sam is on the phone talking to Bobby, walking past a building holding a box of donuts with Dean following beside him.
"Okay Bobby, keep looking." Sam says, hanging up. They stop walking when they hear music from the Impala.
"What is she doing?" Dean asks. Sam shrugs and the two walk towards it to see Theo lying on the front seat doing air drums to Eye of the Tiger. Dean bangs on the roof of the car and scared Theo. She glares at him before getting out the car, rolling up her sleeve.
"Guys. Look at this." Theo says, showing the scratches on her arm.
"We just talked to Bobby." Sam says, passing Theo the donuts.
"And?" Theo asks, smelling the box of donuts before throwing them back into the car. Dean and Sam look perplexed at Theo ignoring the donuts.
"Um, well, you're not gonna like it." Dean says.
"What?" She asks.
"It's ghost sickness"
"Ghost sickness?" Theo asks.
"Yeah" Sam nods.
"God, no."
"Yeah"
"I don't even know what that is."
"Okay. Some cultures believe that certain spirits can infect the living with a disease, which is why they stopped displaying bodies in houses and started taking them off to funeral homes." Sam explains.
"Okay, get to the good stuff." Theo says, crossing her arms.
"Symptoms are you get anxious..."
"Yeah." She nods.
"Then scared, then really scared, then your heart gives out. Sound familiar?" Dean asks.
"Yeah, but guys, we haven't seen a ghost in weeks" Theo says.
"Well, I doubt you caught it from a ghost." Sam says "Look, once a spirit infects that first person, Ghost sickness can spread like any sickness through a cough, a handshake, whatever. It's like the flu. Now, Frank O'Brien was the first to die, which means he was probably the first infected. Patient zero."
"Our very own outbreak monkey." Theo says.
"Right." Dean says. "Get this, Frank was in Maumee over the weekend. Softball tournament. Which is where he must have infected the other two victims."
"Where they gamecocks?" She asks.
"Cornjerkers" Theo nods slowly. "So, ghosts infected Frank. He passed it on to the other guys and I got it from his corpse?"
"Right" Sam confirms.
"So now what, I have 48 hours before I go insane and my heart stops?" Theo asks.
"More like 24." Sam corrects.
"Perfect." She says.
"Yeah."
"Well, why me? Why not you two?" Theo asks "I mean, no offense but you two got hit with the spleen juice."
"Yeah, um, you see Bobby, Sam and I have a theory about that too." Dean says. "Turns out all three victims shared a certain, uh, personality type. Frank was a bully. The other two victims, one was a vice principal, the other was a bouncer."
"Okay."
"Basically, they were all dicks" Sam answers.
"So, you're saying I'm a dick?" Theo asks.
"No, no, no. It's not just that." Sam says. "All three victims used fear as a weapon, and now this disease is just returning the favour."
"I don't scare people"
"Theo, all we do is scare people." Dean says.
"Okay, well then, you two are dicks too."
"Apparently, we're not."
"Whatever. How do we stop it?" She asks.
"We gank the ghost that started all this. We do that, the disease should clear up." Dean says.
"You thinking Frank's wife?" Theo asks.
"Who knows why she killed herself, you know?" Sam says. Hey, what are you doing waiting out here, anyway?" Theo looks up at the hotel.
"Our room's on the fourth floor." She replies. Sam and Dean looks, shaking their heads. "It's...it's high"
"I'll see if I can move us down to the first." Dean says. Theo smiles.
"Thanks." She says.
"Sure." Dean says, walking away. Sam climbs in the back seat while Theo opens the driver’s side and gets in, looking slightly embarrassed.  She picks up the donuts and opens the box, looking down at them in disgust before handing them back to Sam.
"Now this is embarrassing. " She says, looking outside. "Here's me, someone who fights demons, vampires and murderous clowns and such. Terrified of almost everything." She huffs out a laugh. Sam joins, leaning forward and looking at his sister.
"It's not embarrassing." He says. "Everyone still has fears. Always will have. And besides, it's an illness that is making you scared of everything, not you." Sam says, opening the donut box and eating one. She continues to look around, nodding.
"Yeah. I guess your right" She agrees, yet her eyes the opposite.
==
In the motel room, Theo sits at a table with a book in front of her. She stares at the wall clock tickling loudly before going back to reading and starts coughing when she sees disturbing images.  She begins to have hallucinations of words popping up on the book. Words that a bully or a 'dick' would say. She begins to panic before rubbing her eyes, dropping the book as her vision hazed. The ticking sound soon becomes irritating to her and she looks back at the clock with a death glare.
Sam and Dean comes into the room, seeing the clock now broken on the floor. They then look to Theo, who is on the sofa drinking beer with her feet up on the coffee table.
"Man, did the clock deserve this?" Dean asks jokingly. She ignores him.
"Everything all right?" Sam asks, closing the door.
"Oh,yeah. Just peachy. Find anything?" She asks. Sam places the bag he was carrying on the table and a folder. Dean walks over to the sofa and sits down.
"Yeah, Jessie O'Brien's body was cremated, so I'm pretty sure she is not our ghost." Sam says, sitting down and placing his feet on the table. "Hey, quit picking at that. " He says when Theo begins itching at it again. She doesn't listen and Dean slaps her hand, causing her to glare at him but none the less stop.
"How you feeling?" He asks.
"Awesome." She replies. "It's nice to have my head on the chopping block again. I almost forgot what that feels like."
"Yeah."
"It's freaking delightful." She says, going to take a sip of her beer.
"We'll keep looking" Sam says. Theo begins to cough and sits up.
"You, okay?" Dean asks, patting her back. When she started to choke, he got worried. "Hey!" She placed her beer on the coffee table and shot up from the seat, Dean and Sam following.
"Theo!" They both says. She begins gagging over the sink where she spits out a wood chip. She picks it up and her brothers stand on either side of her, watching her clean the wood chip before holding it up.
"We've been completely ignoring the biggest clue we have, you." Sam says.
"I don't want to be a clue." Theo says sadly, looking at the wood chip.
"The abrasions, this, the disease, it's trying to tell us something." Sam continues.
"Tell us what, wood chips?" Dean asks, gesturing to the wood chip. Theo looks at Sam, also confused as to what he means.
"Exactly" Sam says.
==
Later that day the Impala pulls up to the abandoned lumber mill. Theo slowly comes to a stop as she looks up at the building apprehensively. The three get out and she looks between her brothers.
"You must think I'm insane if you think I'm going in there" She says.
"We need backup, and you're all we got. You're going in, Theo" Sam says.
"But you are two full grown men. Why do you need me coming in?" She asks. The brothers shake their heads, not answering. She breaths out and bends down to grab her bottle of whiskey, taking a big sip. She shakes her head at the burning sensation of the whiskey. "Alright. Let's do this." She stuffs the whiskey back into her jacket pocket and walking around to open the boot. She looks up at the building before back to her brothers, smiling nervously "It is a little spooky, isn't it?" Sam and Dean give her a look as she opens it. The brothers pick up guns, Dean handing her one. She holds her hands up. "Oh, I'm not carrying that."
"Why?" Dean asks. Theo looks between them.
"It could go off." She replies. She picks up a flashlight, holding it with both hands and close to her chest, smiling. "I'll man the flashlight." Dean and Sam share a look, huffing laughs.
"You do that." Sam replies. Theo smiles and turns around to face the mill. The enter the lumber mill and the EMF meter starts going of straight away. Theo looks down at it.
"EMF's not gonna work with me around, is it?" She asks.
"You don't say." Sam answers, sarcastically. "Come on" They begin to walk again only for something to catch his eye "Wait..." He startles Theo. Sam bends down to the floor, Dean and Theo following, and picks up a ring. ""To Frank. Love, Jessie." Frank O'Brien's ring."
"What the hell was Frank doing here?" Dean asks.
"No idea." Sam answers. They continue to walk through the mill until they come to a room full of lockers, where they hear rustling. Sam puts a hand on the locker with the rustling and whispers a count of three before opening the locker. A cat meows and jump out, causing Theo to let out a high-pitched scream of terror.
"That was scary!" She says, trying to laugh it off. Sam and Dean look at her before walking of. She stares after them scared "Wait." The three walks into an office looking room, the brothers holding their shotguns up high while Theo walking in the back with her flashlight tightly held. Something catches her eye and she walks over while Sam picks up an ID card.
"Luther Garland." He says showing Dean, who is stood beside him. Theo curiously walks over to a table to see a drawing of a woman.
"Hey, this is uh..." She trails off while opening up a missing poster of a similar looking woman "this is Frank's wife."
"Plot thickens" Dean says as he and Sam walk over to her.
"Yeah, but into what?" She asks. Theo tears off the drawing, and instantly the machines in the mill turns on. She jumps back, gasping. Theo scans her flashlight over the room to where she does a double take after seeing something in the corner. Her face drops when she sees the man standing facing the corner, still. Sam and Dean see her expression and turn around to follow her gaze, to which they also get started at the uninvited guest and raise their shotguns high. The two walk forwards while Theo stays back, frightened.
"Hey!" Sam calls out to the man. He turns around to face Theo, only to see her running out of the mill. Dean looks back and scoffs.
"You've gotta be kidding me." Dean says. They turn back around to see the man in the corner turn around. He begins to move towards them but is quickly shot by Dean.
Theo sits outside at the boot of the impala, gulping down her whiskey quickly and hastily. Dean and Sam come running up to her, panting. Sam holds up the card of Luther Garland.
"Guess we got the right place." He says.

The three Winchesters are stood in a morgue dressed as agents. The coroner zips the body bag open while addressing the three.
"Agent Kramer, Agent Tyler, Agent Perry, meet Frank O'Brien." He says.
"He died of a heart attack, right?" Sam asks, looking up from the body to the coroner.
"Three days ago."
"But O'Brien was 44 years old and, according to this a marathon runner." Theo says, gesturing to the folder in her hand.
"Everybody drops dead sooner or later. It's why I got job security." The coroner says.
"Yeah, but Frank kicked it here." Dean says. "Now, just yesterday, two perfectly healthy men bit it in Maumee. All heart attacks, you don't think that's strange?"
"Sounds like Maumee's problem to me. Why's the FBI give a damn, anyway?" The coroner asks.
"We just want to see the results of Frank's autopsy." Dean says.
"What autopsy?" The coroner asks.
"The one you're gonna do" Theo replies, smiling at him. Minutes later the four are decked out in scrubs and aprons. The siblings watch as the coroner uses a scalpel to cut open the body's chest.
"First dead body?" He asks, giving them a side glance.
"Far from it" Theo says with her arms crossed. Sam however tries his best to not squirm as much while Dean looks slightly pale, but none the less stable.
"Oh, good. Because these suckers can get pretty ripe. Hey, hand me those rib cutters, would you?" The coroner asks, gesturing his head to besides Theo. Sam takes a fortifying breath while Theo picks up the cutters and hands it to the coroner, who uses them 'as they are called' to open the ribs.
"Is that from a wedding ring?" Dean asks, placing his hand on the body's hand to look at its hand "I didn't think Frank was married."
"Ain't my department." The coroner says, continuing to look through the body. His gaze focused on it.
"Any idea how he got these?" Sam asks, holding up Frank's arms which is full of scratches.
"You know what?" The coroner questions "When you drop dead, you actually tend to drop. Body probably got scraped up when it hit the ground." He stops what he was doing "Huh!"
"What?" Theo asks.
"I-I can't find any blockages in any of the major arteries." He replies. He puts his hand back into the body and a loud crack surround them as he breaks off the heart while Theo tries not to vomit "Heart looks pretty damn healthy." The coroner hands the heart to Theo. "Hold that a second, would you?" Theo does so and Dean turns his head to Theo, smirking.  She glares at her. The coroner begins to cut something else in the body and just as Dean turns to face him, blood hits both him and Sam in the face. "Oh, sorry. Spleen juice." The coroner says, with a slight smirk. Theo looks at her brother's, smirking at them.

Later that day, the three are sat down in front of the Deputy's desk, waiting. The deputy smiles at Theo. She smiles back politely. The door to the Sherriff's office opens and outcomes said man.
"Hell's bells, Linus, have you seen my.... Who are they?" The Sheriff asks, seeing the three siblings. They begin to stand.
"Federal agents. I, uh...." Linus says, stuttering.
"And you kept them waiting?" The sheriff asks.
"You, you said not to disturb" Linus replies.
"It was no bother, really." Theo says, smiling at them. Sam and Dean nod. The Sheriff returns the nod and sticks his arm out to gesture for them to follow him.
"Come on back, fellas, lady" The three walk over to the Sheriff's office only to be stopped before they entered "Shoes off" They do so and they make their way in.
"Al Britton. Good to meet you" Britton introduces, shaking their hands.
"You too" Sam replies, smiling at him. Britton gestures for Sam, Dean and Theo to sit down. "Thank you" The sheriff takes out alcohol gel and start slathering his hands. Dean and Theo exchange a weird look before looking to Sam, giving him the same look.
"Okay. So, what can I do for uncle Sam?" Britton asks, closing his laptop and sitting down.
"Well, we're looking into the death of Frank O'Brien. We understand some of your men found his body."
"They did. Me and Frank, we were friends. Hell, we were gamecocks." Britton says as Dean snickers. Theo bites the inside of her cheek to stop herself. The sheriff then gives Dean a stern look, causing him to look abashed. Theo looks at him.
"Sorry about him." She says. Britton lifts his hand up and shakes it, smiling at her.
"It's not bother." He says, before looking back at Dean "That's our softball team's name." Dean nods "They're majestic animals." Britton looks down at his desk "I knew Frank since high school. To be honest, I just this morning got up the strength to go see him. Frank was...He was a good man."
"Yeah. Big heart." Dean says, causing Sam and Theo to look at him-knowing what he meant. Theo elbows him in his arm, before they turn their heads to Sam who speaks.
"Before he died, did you notice frank acting strange? Maybe scared of something?" He asks.
"Oh hell, yeah. Real jumpy" Britton replies.
"You know what scared him?" Sam asks.
"No." Britton replies "Wouldn't answer his phone. Finally, I sent some of my boys over to check on him, and well, you know the rest." The sheriff begins to cough as he reaches for the bottle and pours alcohol gel on his hands again. Dean looks at Sam and Theo and mouths “What?" while giving them a ‘WTF’ looks. Theo shrugs as the three watch him. "So, why the Feds give a crap?" Britton asks, slathering gel on his hands "You don't really think there's a case here?" Theo looks between her brothers.
"No, no. It's probably nothing. Just a heart attack." She says.
==
The three walk out of the police station and walk across a road.
"No way that was a heart attack." Dean says.
"Definitely no way." Sam agrees "Three victims, all with those same red scratches. All went from jittery to terrified to dead within 48 hours."
"Something scared them to death?" Theo questions.
"All right, so what can do that?" Sam asks.
"What can't?" Dean asks "Ghosts, vampires, chupacabra? It could be a hundred things."
"Yeah. So, we make a list and start crossing things off." Sam says.
"Alright, who's the last person to see Frank O'Brien alive?" Dean asks.
"Uh, his neighbour, Mark Hutchins." Sam replies.
"Hang on, hand go." Theo says as she stops, Dean and Sam following. She looks up a head.
"What?" Sam asks. Theo turns to face Dean and Sam.
"I don't like the looks of those teenagers down there." She says and Dean and Sam look around to see some teenagers talking near the Impala. "Let's walk this way" She says, crossing the street. Sam and Dean stands with perplexed looks on their faces.
"What's up with her?" Sam asks. Dean shrugs. The two then proceed to follow her.
==
The three arrive at Brian's neighbours house and they sit in the living room which is surrounded by reptiles and snakes. Mark in question has a snake sat around his shoulders.
"Tyler, Perry and Kramer. Just like Aerosmith" Mark says, stroking the head of a snake. Theo looks around the room, her brows furrowed.
"Yeah, small world. So, the last time you saw Frank O'Brien?" Sam asks. Theo turns her head around and sees a big lizard and suddenly faces forward, swallowing. Dean gives her a weird look.
"Monday, he was watching me from his window. I waved at him, but he just closed the curtains." Mark answers.
"Hmm. did you speak to him recently? Did he seem different? Uh, scared?" Dean asks, turning to face Mark.
"Oh, totally. He was freaking out." Mark says. Sam and Dean look at Theo, who looks freaked out too. She shakes her head and looks to Mark.
"Do you know, uh..do you know what scared him?" She asks.
"Well, yeah, witches."
"Witches?" Sam asks. He, Theo and Dean look at each other. "Like...?"
"Well, "Wizard of Oz" was on tv the other night, right? And he said that green bitch was totally out to get him."
"Anything else scare him?" Dean asks.
"Everything else scared him. Al-Qaeda, ferrets, artificial sweetener. Those pez dispensers with their dead little eyes. Lots of stuff." Mark says. Theo looks around again at the animals inside the aquariums.
"So, tell me. What was Frank like?" Dean asks.
"I mean, he's dead, you know?" Mark says. He stutters "I-I don't want to hammer him but, he got better."
"He got better?" Sam asks.
"Well, in high school he was, he was a dick." Mark says.
"A dick?" Sam repeats.
"Like a bully. I mean, he probably taped half the town's butt cheeks together," Dean snickers and Mark looks at him. "Mine included." Dean stops laughing.
"So, he pissed a lot of people off. You think anyone would have wanted to get revenge?" Theo asks.
"Well, I don't...Frank had a heart attack, right?" Mark asks.
"Just answer the question, sir." Sam says.
"No, I don't think so. Like I said, he got better. And after what happened to his wife."
"His wife?" Theo asks, sharing a look with Dean. "So, he was married."
"She died about 20 years ago." Mark explains. "Frank was really broken up about it." Theo starts staring at the snake around Mark's neck. He notices. "Don't be scared of Donny. He's a sweetheart. It's Marie you got to look out for." Mark nods to the spot between Dean and Theo “She smells fear." A big albino snake creeps up from behind the couch. Sam looks over to them and double takes after seeing said snake. Dean sees it to and moves himself over slightly to Sam. Theo is the last to sees it and gasps. She looks at Mark, smiling back shakily while he smirks. She stays very still while it crawls down her lap and when Dean sees her strange petrified look, he bites back a smirk.
==
That night, Theo is sat in the car reading while scratching her left arm. Dean then opens the passenger door, Sam doing the same to the back door. The sudden arrival surprised Theo and she jumps slightly.
"Hey. Any luck at the county clerk's office?" Sam asks, leaning forwards.
"I'm not sure I'd call it luck." Theo replies. "Frank's wife, Jessie, was a manic-depressive. She went off her meds back in '88 and vanished. They found her two weeks later, three towns over. Strung up in her motel room, suicide."
"Any chance Frank helped her along to the other side?" Dean asks.
"No, Frank was working the swing shift when she disappeared." Theo answers. "Airtight alibi. She turns on the car and drives in the middle of town. "How was Frank's pad?"
"Clean." Sam answers. "Searched it top to bottom. No EMF, no hex bags, no sulphur."
"So probably no ghosts, no witches, no demons." Theo says.
"Pfh..."
"3 down and 97 to go." Dean says, sighing.
"Yeah." Sam replies before noticing the speed Theo is driving in. "Dude, you're going 20"
"And?" She asks.
"That's the speed limit" Dean answers.
"What? Safety's a crime now?" Theo asks.  She drives through intersection, passing their motel.
"Dude, where are you going? That was our hotel."
"Sam, I'm not gonna make a left-hand turn into oncoming traffic. I'm not suicidal." Theo says. Sam and Dean gives Theo a confused look. "Did I just say that?" Theo asks. "That was kind of weird." She laughs and she continues to drive.
"Do you hear something?" Dean asks. Sam feels around in his pockets and pulls out the EMF meter, moving it from and to Theo where it makes a noise. Theo looks back at the EMF in fear.
"Am I haunted?" She says, her eyes open wide. "Am I haunted?!"

Theo wakes up and shoots her head up only to see that she is in a dungeon and strapped to an upright table, similar to that of Frankenstein. She hears electricity buzzing and she looks down to see she wears a woman's lederhosen.
"Oh, come on." She mutters. She moves her head around the room, scanning every inch until she looks at a portrait of a woman's face on the wall which resembles Lucy.
"She is beautiful, no?" Dracula asks. Theo turns her head to face him "Bride number three from the first film." He walks over to the portrait "She never got the acclaim that she deserved." He caresses the face on the portrait "Which is why I chose her shape, her form, to move among the mortals unnoticed. To listen to the cricket songs of the living. That is when I discovered my bride had been reborn in this century." Theo stifles a snicker.
"I can't get over what a pumpkin-pie-eyed, crazy son of a bitch you really are." She says as Dracula slowly makes his way over to her "You're not Dracula! You get that, right? Or even if you think you are Dracula, what the hell's up with the mummy?!" Dracula punches Theo in the face.
"I am all monsters!" He yells, doing a weird gesture with his hand.
"Life ain't a movie, you sorry sack of-" She's cut off by Dracula punching her again. She groans in pain, flexing her jaw to stop the throbbing pain.
"Life is small. Meagre. Messy. The movies are grand, simple, elegant. I have chosen elegance." Dracula flaps his cape out, showing "elegance".
"You think "elegance" is really the word for what you did to Marissa, or Rick Deacon, or any of the others?!" Theo yells as Dracula wraps his cap around him.
"But of course. It is a monster movie, after all."
"You do realize what happens at the end of every monster movie?" Theo asks.
"Ah, but this movie is mine." Dracula replies "And in it, the monster wins. The monster gets the girl. And the hero, he's... electrocuted." He says, walking over to the machine of buttons and levers "And tonight, Amelia Collins, you will be my hero." Dracula puts his hand on a large lever on the wall. Theo chuckles nervously.
"W-w-wait, wait, wait." Theo stutters, she begins to try and struggle to escape while Dracula slowly goes to pull the lever, all while staring at Theo with a wide smirk. However, at the last second, the doorbell rang. The two look at the direction of the doorbell before looking at each other.
"You gonna get that?" She asks.
"Please, excuse me" Dracula says, smiling with his fangs before wrapping his cape around himself and leaving the room. She leans her head against the table, sighing in relief. She then struggles for what seems like hours, trying to escape her restraints. She hears footsteps and turns her head to see Sam and Dean, their guns at the ready.
"Oh, thank God. Just in the nick of time." She says. "That guy was about to Frankenstein me." Sam begins breaking her restraints and she lifts herself up from the table and stands on the ground, while Dean and Sam look at what she's wearing.
"Hey there, Gretel" Dean jokes as he and Sam laughs,
"Shut up!" Theo says, pointing at the two. Sam then passes her a weapon and they rush over to a locked door. The three pause and stare at each other until Theo gestures for them to kick down the door. Sam sighs and the twins stand back while Sam puts his foot through the door, kicking a hole in it. The entire door falls flat off its hinges. Sam turns back to Dean and Sam, breathing heavily.
"So much for element of surprise" Dean mutters.
"Let's go" Sam says as the three walk down the corridor. Theo is in the back and she looks at the frame of the door, surprise that the whole door fell down. She then follows after them. Sam opens the door to the bedroom and sees Jamie lying on the bed in a white gown unconscious. Sam crosses over only for Dracula to intercept him from behind and throws him through the wall.
"You will never be Van Helsing!" Dracula says as Sam groans in pain. Dean goes to attack Dracula only to also be thrown into the wall, landing back on Sam who was trying to stand up. Theo goes to attack Dracula while his back is turned only for him to grab her and elbow her repeatedly in the face. Theo grabs his arm to steady herself while he grabs her face in his hand. "And you, Collins now you die." Theo punches Dracula in the stomach, making him drop Theo and stumble back.
"How 'bout now you shut the hell up?" Theo says. She looks down to see a gun, Dracula following her gaze. She goes to run for it only for Dracula to stop her and punch her in the face. She lands on the ground, holding her face while Dracula lifts his arms up and bares his fangs, about to go in for the kill. Suddenly gunshots burst through his chest and he looks down to see the holes.
"Silver?" He says, dropping his hands. Theo drops her arm from her face and looks at him. Dracula turns to see Jamie holding the gun. He wobbles slightly "It was beauty that killed the beast." He stumbles back, reaching his arm out to Jamie "No, Mina, do not weep." Jamie looks at him in confusion as he falls into a chair. "Perhaps this is how the movie should end." He says as he dies in the chair.
==
In the town square, Theo and Jamie are hugging while the square is full of tourists.
"Thank you for helping me." Jamie says, pulling away from the hug "Don't know what would have happened to me"
"As I said, us women have to stay together" Theo says, smiling. Sam and Dean are standing behind Theo. She looks over her shoulder at them, seeing Dean's slightly jealous expression before she turns back to Jamie. "Bye"
"Bye" Jamie says. Sam, Theo and Dean begin to walk away until Jamie stops them.
"You guys saved my life, you know?" She says "So, thanks" Jamie leaves and they begin walking again.
"I like her" Sam says. Dean rolls his eyes, shaking head.
"Feels good to be back on the job, doesn't it?" Theo asks.
"Yeah, it does" Sam says.
"The hero may not have gotten the girl" Dean says gesturing to himself "but the monster gets ganked. All in all, happy ending- with a happy...ish ending, no less"
"Real classy, Dean" Theo says.
"Hey, all I'm saying is the shifter man had a point, you know? It would be nice if life was movie simple."  Although, if I was turning life into a movie, I wouldn't do this Abbott "and Costello meet the monster crap."
"Yeah, no. We know what you'd pick." Sam says, gesturing to himself and Theo.
"No, you don't" Dean replies.
"Yeah, we do" Theo says.
"No. You don't. You don't!" Dean says. Sam and Theo look at each other, smirking, then looks back at Dean.
"Porky's II." They say in unison.
"What?" Dean asks, baffled.
"You heard us" Sam says. Dean stays silent for a moment before sighing.
"Lucky guess"
"I don't need a guess, Dean. You’re my twin." She laughs "As Sam says, we share a brain cell"

The next day, Sam, Dean and Theo sit across from a woman at an outside table. The woman is slurping loudly from a large cup and the siblings exchange a look. She places the large cup down, staring at the three.
"And then it just -- it just tore Rick into little pieces." She says.
"Ma'am, we understand how hard this is, but can you describe the creature?" Theo asks.
"Oh." She says, taking another slurp of her drink "It was a werewolf"
"A werewolf?" Sam asks.
"Mhm" The woman replies, nodding her head.
"You're sure?" Dean asks.
"Oh, yeah. With the furry face, and the black nose, and the claws and... " She trails off "and the torn-up pants and shirt. Like from the old movies." She says. Theo and Dean raises an eyebrow, their faces blank.
"Um..." Sam trails off, looking at his siblings before back to the woman.
"Well, okay, so... Thank you for your time." Theo says, smiling at her as the three get up. The woman leans back in her seat and slurps at her drink again while the three leave her alone.
==
The three arrive at the morgue again to look at the body. They walk over to where the bodies are kept.
"First a Dracula and now a full-on movie time Wolf Man?" Dean says and looks at Theo. "What the hell is going on in this town?" She shrugs. Sam opens one of the storage drawers and pulls out a body. He unzips the body bag and the three groan in disgust at the smell.
"Damn!" Theo says, face scrunched up in disgust.
"All right." Sam pulls out a pencil from his pocket and points at the body "Whatever did this wasn't a psycho wannabe." He pulls out some shredded flesh from the corpse with the pencil "Look at those bite marks. Right down to the bone... and deeper."
"Strong enough to tear a healthy man apart limb from limb. Could be a werewolf." Dean says.
"Yeah, except, look." Theo grabs Sam's pencil and points it at the heart "The heart's still there in one piece. They never leave the heart behind."
"Thus, I reiterate -- what the hell is going on?" Dean asks, looking between the two. The sheriff enters the morgue holding an envelope.
"Well, I was hoping you three could tell me. I just got a rush job back from the lab on those fibres we found on the body." He pulls out a plastic bag from the envelope "Canine. Wolf hairs" Sam turns his head to Dean and Theo and three exchange a look.
"I'm getting a headache." Dean says, pinching the bridge of his nose.
==
The three are sat in the bar they were in last night eating, the three-looking puzzled at their case.
"I don't know, guys." Dean says, looking at the two "Looks like we've stumbled onto a midnight showing of Dracula meets Wolf Man. Is that it?" He takes a sip of his beer.
"I don't know. I mean, Wolf Man seems real enough. Makes Dracula seem a little less impossible, I guess." Sam says.
"Yeah, but werewolves don't grow wolf hair. That's just a myth" Theo says, stuffing chips in her mouth.
"Yeah" Sam agrees and Dean nods..
"So, what? We've got a vampire and a werewolf monster mashing this town?" Dean asks. Jamie brings over another round of beers for the three.
"Looks like you guys are staying a while." She says, placing them on the table "I heard about Rick Deacon."
"Yeah, this case just got weird enough for our department." Dean replies, staring at Jamie.
"Well, beers are on me." Jamie says. She looks at Theo "And, just so you know, I get off at midnight tonight. How about we have a girl’s night out? " Theo smiles up at her, nodding.
"Sure thing. I'll see you tonight." She says.
"Okay, then" Jamie says, walking away. Dean shakes his head.
"So unfair" He mutters. Sam and Theo laugh as three lift the beers to their mouths, Theo stopping.
"Hey, you think this Dracula could turn into a bat?" She asks. Sam and Dean look at her "That would be cool."
==
Later that say the three are in a museum, looking at a crime scene. Police officers are moving around. The Sheriff is talking to his men while Sam, Dean and Theo are investigating the sarcophagus. Sam scoffs, standing up.
"This sarcophagus isn't ancient." Sam says, holding up a tag that reads, " ‘THE FX SHOP PROPHOUSE PHILDADELPHIA, PA.’ "It's from a prop house in Philly."
"Well... it goes well with the bucket of dry ice he was keeping in it." Theo says, lifting up a small bucket of dry ice from inside the sarcophagus.
"Is he making his own special effects?" Dean asks.
"Yeah, a mummy with a good sense of showmanship." Theo replies.
"This is stupid" Sam says.
"Oh, damn it. Jamie. I'm late. You're good here with the mummy and the..." Theo flaps her arms about "crazy?"
"Yeah" Dean says, rolling his eyes "You go ahead an enjoy yourself"
"Yeah" Theo says, leaving in a hurry.
Theo arrives in the town centre only for Jamie to crash into her, breathing heavily. Theo places her hands on Jamie's arms.
"Jamie? What's wrong?" Theo turns and sees Dracula. "Son of a bitch"
"You should not use such language in the presence of my bride." Dracula says, flapping his cape. Theo pauses.
"Okay" Theo punches Dracula in the face and the two begin to fight until he gets her against the wall "Jamie, run!" She does so and Theo continues to struggle against Dracula.
"You have no choice in the matter, Miss Collins. Mina is mine." Dracula says. He tries to bite Theo, her struggling to keep him back. She then rips of his ear and he flees. Theo pursues, chasing after her down the alleyways until he leaps over a gate. Theo tries to only to not make it and she watches as Dracula escapes on a moped.
==
Later that night, Sam and Dean enter the bar, now dressed in their casual outfit. They walk over to Jamie and Theo, who are sat at a table with a bottle of alcohol between them.
"Hey. You guys all right?" Dean asks.
"Yeah, I think so." Theo replies "And I think I know what's going on." Theo pulls out a folded towel out of her pocket and places it on the table.
"Yeah?" Sam asks.
"Part of it, at least." She says. Sam opens the towel to reveal Dracula's ear is inside. Jamie turns her head in disgust, Sam and Dean doing the same.
"Uh, the ear part?" Dean asks, looking at Theo.
"Ripped it off of Dracula's head. Touch it." Theo says. Sam and Dean scoff until they see the serious expression on Theo's face. The two touches the ear, groaning is disgust. "Feel familiar to you?"
"Oh, man" Sam says, his face dropping.
"Not again." Dean says, shaking his head.
"Skin of a shapeshifter." Theo says. "Just like St. Louis and just like Milwaukee. Of course, this one's all holding buckets of crazy. Oh, and, uh..." Theo takes out a medallion from her pocket, giving it to Sam. All the while Dean covers the ear back up. "This, I uh, pulled it off during the fight. Look at the label on the ribbon." Sam looks at the label. It reads, ‘THE FX SHOP PROPHOUSE PHILADELPHIA, PA.’
"It's a costume rental" Sam says.
"All three monsters - the Dracula, Wolf Man, and the mummy -- all the same critter, which means we need to catch this freak before he Creature from the Black Lagoons somebody." Theo says, picking up a glass and holding it to her lips.
"So, you guys are like Mulder, Scully or something, and the X-Files are real?" Jamie asks.
"No, The X-Files is a TV show. This is real." Theo says, smiling at her.
"Oh" Jamie replies, smiling back sarcastically.
"Okay, so, the stagecraft, the costuming... it's like he's trying to re-enact his favourite monster movie moments, right down to the bloody murders." Theo says.
"Wait a second. Who the hell is Mina?" Jamie asks.
"Mina?" Sam asks.
"Yeah. That's what he called Jamie." Theo replies "And he called me Collins."
"Amelia Collins?" Sam questions, smiling. Theo tilts her head to the side "They're characters from the movies and the novels -- Mina, Dracula's intended bride, Amelia is the best friend that stands in the way." Sam turns to Jamie "Seems like he's fixating on you, like he sees you as his bride."
"Wow. Lucky me" Jamie replies, sarcastically. She pours herself another drink.
"But to fixate on you, my guess is that the shifter has to have seen you before or been around you." Sam says, looking at her.
"Jamie, has anybody strange come to town, somebody that has taken a specific notice of you?" Dean asks.
"I don't know, Dean. It's Oktoberfest. I'm a bartender. There's lots of people. I..." She trails off "Wait a second. There is Ed."
""Ed Brewer" Ed?" Sam asks.
"Yeah. He moved here about a month ago." Jamie explains "Lucy swears he has a crush on me. He comes in almost every night. But, you know, I don't think he's the type of guy -"
"Where does Ed live?" Theo asks.
"I don't know. But he works at the old movie theatre. I think he's the projectionist there." Jamie says. Theo points her finger over her shoulder.
"Take care of Mina?" Sam asks.
"Yep" Theo replies. Sam and Dean nod and they leave the bar. She looks at Jamie.
"No what you thought when you said girls’ night out huh" Theo says, taking a sip of her drink. Jamie stares at her, rolling her eyes playfully. Jamie stands up and begins pacing in front of the booth that Theo is at in. Theo is holding a glass in her hand watching her pace.
"So, monsters are real" Jamie says
"Some of them, yeah"
"And the shapeshifter, he can turn into different people." Jamie asks.
"Yeah. Yeah, except this one's turning into the great monsters of screenland, which is a new one for me." Theo says, taking a sup of her drink. Jamie chuckles turning to face Theo.
"You're not really FBI, are you?" Jamie asks.
"Not so much."
"So, this is what you do?" Jamie asks " You and your partners just tramp across the country on your own dime until you find some horrible nightmare to fight?"
"Some people paint" Theo says, shrugging.
"Wow" Jamie sighs out.
"What?" Theo asks.
"That must suck. I mean, you're giving up your life for this terrible... I don't know, responsibility." Theo smiles, scratching her face and sighing.
"Last few years, I started thinking that way, and, uh, it started sort of weighing on me. Of course, that was before... " Theo trails off "A little while ago, I had this - let's call it a near-death experience. Very near." Jamie sits down besides Theo. "And, uh, when I came to... things were different. My life's been different. I realize that I help people. Not just help them, though. I save them. I guess it's -- it's awesome. It's kind of like a gift... like a mission. Kind of like a... a mission from God."
"So, does that make you... some kind of monk or something? You know, celibate?"
"Man, I hope not" Theo says, laughing and taking another sip of her drink. Suddenly the lights inside the bar turns on, and Lucy was behind the bar. Jamie and Theo turn their heads to see Lucy, holding a bottle and staring at the two. She smiles at them.
"Oh, you two are still here?" Lucy asks. "I thought you two were going to hang out?"
"We decided to just stay here" Theo answers, smiling at her.
"Well, I won't bother your night. I came to borrow a bottle. I kind of got something going back at my... " Lucy trails off." Anyway, uh, you guys enjoy your night and I'll get out of your hair"
"No, seriously, Lucy, it's been a crazy night. Stay for a drink." Jamie offers.
"Yeah. Stay for a drink." Theo adds "More girls the merrier" Lucy nods.
"Okay, I'll grab the drinks" She says, preparing them all drinks before bringing them over to the table that Theo and Jamie are sat on. She sits opposite them. "So why are you two still here?"
"Dracula attacked me" Jamie says. "Yu know how the town has been rambling about this monster" She sighs.
"Oh, that sounds awful. Jamie, honey, are you okay?" Lucy asks.
"Oh, I am fine. He didn't even touch me. Theo, she just blew right in and fought him off." Jamie says, smiling. She takes a sip of her drink. Theo does the same, downing half of it.
"No big deal. Us women have to look out for each other, right" Theo smiles, watching as Lucy blotted her lipstick on a spare napkin. Theo looks at Jamie, seeing her stumble with her words as her eyes fight to stay open. "Jamie?"
"So, Theo, are you like a black belt or what?" Lucy asks. Theo looks at her glass, it swims before her eyes. "Well, I guess they train you to fight at the academy or whatever." Theo opens her eyes wide before leaning across the table and pinching Lucy. She pushes Jamie out of the way to ensure her safety.
"Theo, what are you doing?" Jamie asks, her speech slightly slurred before passing out, falling back down into the booth.
"It's you, isn't it?" Theo asks. Lucy pushes her jaw back into place only to be kicked by Theo again. However, Lucy rolls with the momentum and lands on her feet. "Oh, damn it! What did you put in our drinks?!" Theo picks up the bottle on the table and smashes it on the edge of a table to hurt her "That's all right. I'll skin you myself." She stares at Lucy, her vision swaying and blurring before she passes out and falling to the floor, the glass bottle shattering.
"And... scene" Lucy says standing over Theo.

The Impala drives down a road lined with trees and past a sign. Theo in the driver's seat, per usual with Dean in the passenger and Sam in the backseat, leaning forwards with a map in his hands and a torch.
"The radio around here sucks" Dean says, reaching over and turning the music off. Theo nods and keeps her eyes on the road while Dean turns his head to Sam "Come on, man. Jobs don't get much sweeter than this, you know? Dead vic with a gnawed-on neck, body drained of blood, and a witness who swears up and down that it was a vampire."
"No, I -- I agree. It's a hell of a case." Sam says, lifting his head up from his map and nodding before going straight back down.
"A little more gusto, please." Theo says, looking back at Sam. Dean points at Theo as he spoke to Sam.
"See, we're on the same wavelength" He says, making Theo chuckle. Sam closes the map he was holding and looking forward at the road in front of him.
"It's just... the world is coming to an end." Sam says, looking between his siblings, who nod. " Things are a little complicated, you know?"
"Yeah, well, we can't save the world, not today anyway." Theo says, looking at Sam through the rear-view mirror, catching his eyes "But what we can do is chop off some vamps' heads. Come on, man, it's like the good old days, an honest-to-goodness monster hunt. It's about time the Winchesters got back to tackling a straightforward, black and white case." She says. Sam looks at her in confusion as lightning strikes down from the sky.
==
By morning the three arrive at the Oktoberfest 2008 Town square, where many people are walking around. They gout out of the Impala, dressed as Federal Agents and they straighten themselves.
"We still got to see the new Raiders movie." Theo says.
"Saw it" Sam says.
"Yeah, me to" Dean says.
"Without me?" Theo asks, looking at her brothers with playful offense.
"You were in hell" Dean says as he and Sam look around, Theo still looking between the two.
"That's no excuse" She says playfully, shaking her head. She looks away to see a cart with big pretzel and nudges Dean as he follows her gaze.
"Big pretzel!" They says in unison before walking off. Sam smiles, shaking his head as his older sibling's alikeness. Theo takes two pretzels from the vendor while Dean grabs one.
"Thank you" Theo says.
"Yeah thanks" Dean says. Sam walks over to the two and Theo passes the other pretzel to Sam.
"Thank you" He says as the three take a bite of their pretzels. A woman in uniform walks past the three.
"Guten tag" She says, walking past them. Dean watches her walk away.
""Guten tag" yourself" Dean says with a mouth full of pretzel. Sam looks over at a man in a Sheriff uniform, talking to a couple. He nudges Dean and Theo, gesturing the the sheriff.
"Mmm. Looks like that's our man" Sam says. The three walk over to the Sheriff.
"Sheriff Dietrich." Theo says, causing the Sheriff to turn around and face them.
"Are you the guys from the fed?" He asks. Theo nods. The three take out their fake badges, showing them to the Sheriff.
"Agent Kinsley" Theo says and nods to her brothers "Agents Angus and Young" She places her badge back in her jacket pocket, followed by her brothers "We called ahead about your, uh, problem."
"Right." Sheriff said "Um... I'll tell you what, why don't we talk this out away from the crowd, huh?"
The Sheriff leads them to the morgue to where he opens a door and pulls out a body that was covered with a sheet. Moving the top part of the sheet, it reveals a woman. He looks at Dean, Theo and Sam.
"Marissa Wright, 26. Just up from Lockhard for the 'fest. Terrible. Just terrible. It's the last thing this town needs at peak tourist season." Sheriff says, frowning.
"Definitely the last thing Marissa Wright needed." Sam says. Dean turns the body's head and sees two dark puncture marks on her neck like a vampire bite.
"What the hell?" Dean asks
"Yeah, you got me" Sheriff says as Dean, Theo and Sam share a serious look "I mean this killer's some kind of grade-A wacko, right? I mean, some Satan worshipping, Anne Rice-reading, gothic, psycho vampire wannabe."
"Sheriff, in your report, you mentioned a witness." Theo says, looking back at the Sheriff.
"Yeah, I wished I didn't. But our witness insisted. That's Ed Brewer. Not exactly what you'd call reliable." The three siblings share a look before the Sheriff covers Marissa's face with the sheet and pushing her back in, Sam closing the door.
Theo, Sam and Dean head to a bar to where the staff are wearing Oktoberfest costumes as the entire bar is filled to the brim with customers and tourists. They head to the bar where the see the woman who greeted them outside is now handing to glasses of bee to another woman and she walks away. The waitress looks at them.
"I remember you." The blond woman says, crossing her arms.
"And I remember you..." Dean trails off, looking at her name badge "Jamie. I never forget a pretty...everything" Theo shakes her head and rolls her eyes.
"We're looking for Ed Brewer." Sam says, causing Jamie to look at him in confusion.
"What do you want with Ed?" She asks.
"Well, we are uh...federal agents" Theo says, the three of them showing their badges "Mr. Brewer was witness to a serious crime. We just need to -"
"Wait a minute. You're a fed?" Jamie asks "Wow, you don't come on like a fed. Seriously?" Dean leans towards her.
"I'm a maverick, ma'am." He says. Sam and Theo look at Dean and furrow their eyebrows at this "A rebel with a badge. One thing I don't play by: the rules." He winks at Jamie, causing Theo to scoff.
"Right, keep telling yourself that" Theo says, sarcastically.
"Um, so where can we find Mr. Brewer?" Sam asks. Jamie points them over to a table that Ed was and they sat across from him, who uncaps his beer stein and drinks.
"If I wasn't on a case right now, I would have downed that beer stein by now" Theo mutters. Sam and Dean chuckle before the three-turn serious again and looks at Ed.
"I told the cops everything I saw." Ed says, pointing at the three "No one believes me. Why should you be any different?"
"Believe me, Mr. Brewer, we're different." Theo says, nodding her head.
"I spoke the God's honest truth." Ed says "And now I'm the town joke."
"Marissa Wright's murder is no joke to us." Sam says "And we want to hear everything, no matter how strange it may seem."
"We have a lot of experience with strange" Dean adds. Ed nods his head slowly before uncapping the beet stein and drinks again. He puts it down and gives them a thumbs up before talking.
"It was just after midnight." He says "I just left here, and like I do every night, I cut through the park on the way home. At first, I thought it was a couple kissing. But she was... struggling too much. And this man, he was -- well, he was biting her neck."
"Can you describe her assailant?" Sam asks.
"Oh, he was a vampire" Ed replies.
"Okay, right." Theo says "And by that, you mean -"
"You know, a vampire" Ed says. Theo nods.
"Uh huh"
"Yeah"
"So, he looked like -" Theo starts.
"He looked like a vampire." Ed says "You know, with the fangs and the slicked back hair and the fancy cape and the little medallion thingy on the ribbon."
"You mean like a Dracula?" Dean asks. Ed points at him.
"Exactly, like a Dracula. Right down to the accent." Ed says.
"The accent?" Sam repeats. Ed nods his head.
"Yep"
"What did he say?" Sam asks.
"You know, something like..." Ed raises his arm over his face as if he has a cape on "Stay away, mortal! The night is mine!" He lowers his arm to his side "You do believe me, don't you?" Dean, Sam and Theo exchange a look. Theo shakes her head, standing up.
"I'm off to the bar. Meet you two there" She says, walking over to the bar where she meets Jamie. "So, you got a beer back there for me?"
"I don't know, Agent Kinsley, you off duty?" Jamie asks, smirking.
"And then some" Theo replies, smirking back. Jamie chuckles and turns away from Theo. Sam and Dean then come over.
"So, what do you two think?" Theo asks as Sam picks up a napkin with a woman's lipstick print on. The three then lean against the bar facing the room. "Goth, psycho, vampire wannabe, right?"
"Definitely not our kind of case." Sam replies.
"Agreed. But who cares?" Dean says as the three walk towards a table. "Room's paid for, and it's Oktoberfest. Come on, brother. Beer and bar wenches." They take a seat at a table.
"Pretty sure women today don't react well to the whole "wench" thing, Dean." Sam says.
"Definitely not" Theo agrees, shaking her head.
"Hey, bar wench, get me a beer” Dean calls out to Jamie.
"Coming up, good sir!" Jamie replies in a sing song voice. Sam closes his eyes and shakes his head.
"I stand corrected" Theo mutters.
"Guys, Oktoberfest." Dean says, smiling at the two.
"There you two go" Jamie says, placing down two beers in front of Dean and Theo before turning to Sam "What can I get you?" Sam goes to answer but Dean beats him to it.
"Oh, he doesn't drink. He's a Christian scientist. Doesn't even take aspirin. He's a real drag on stakeouts." Jamie laughs, causing Dean to smile more.
"You're funny" She says.
"I'm a lot more than that. I'd love to get a chance to show you the rest. What time you get off?" Dean asks.
"Ha ha. Like I said, "funny."" Jamie says before walking away. Sam and Theo turn their heads to Dean, smirking.
"Yikes, that could have gone better" She says. Dean glares at her.
"Shut up" He says, taking a drink of his beer. Theo looks over at the bar to see a young male leaning against it-talking to Jamie. Theo looks him up and down, smiling.
"Now that's a specimen" She says. The brothers look at her confused before following her line of sight to the man. Dean scoffs.
"Seriously?" He says, shaking his head. He looks to Sam "And you tell me to behave on cases"
"It is time to right some wrongs." Theo says, taking a sip of her beer.
"Come again?" Sam asks.
"Look at me. I mean, I came back from the furnace without any of my old scars, right?" Theo says, gesturing to herself "No bullet wounds, knife cuts, none of the off-angled fingers from all the breaks. I mean, my hide is as smooth as a baby's bottom. Which leads me to conclude, sadly..." She smiles "that my virginity is intact."
"What?" The brothers ask in unison.
"I have been re-hymenated." She replies, taking another drink.
"Re--?" Sam laughs "Please. Theo, maybe angels can pull you out of hell, but no one could do that."
"I mean they could" Dean says, shrugging. Sam looks between the twins, shaking his head.
"You two really do share brain cells" He says.
"Brothers, I have been re-hymenated." Theo says, clasping the two on their backs "And the lady will not abide."
"All right, lady. Well, you go do whatever you got to do, and I'm gonna go back to the room and get some sleep." Sam says, standing up.
"I'm gonna go too. Want a bright and early day tomorrow" Dean says, staring at Jamie "Plenty of things to do" The brothers then leave the bar. Theo stays seated and drinks her beer.
"Now, why is a beautiful lady such as yourself sat all on her own?" A British voice asks. She lifts her head up to see them man from before standing beside her.
"Maybe because I like to sit alone" She replies. The man smiles at her, shaking his head.
"You've got fire." He replies "It suits you dearly. Mind if I sit?" He gestures to the sit opposite her. She shakes her head. The man sits in the seat.
"So, Tiger. Why are you sat alone? And why are you dressed in such a formal outfit while on a night out?" He asks, gesturing to her agent uniform.
"First of all, pal, don't call me tiger" She replies, squinting her eyes at him "And second, I'm working right now and I work better when I'm alone" The man chuckles.
"Does drinking beer come with the job?" The man asks. Theo shakes her head, holding back a smile but failing.
"Fine. I was working but I'm off duty right now" She replies.
"Of duty? What are you, some kind of officer?" The man asks.
"I'm an agent" She replies, taking a drink of her beer.
"Well Tiger, I can say that I've never met an agent who is this beautiful" The man says.
"I told you not to call me Tiger" Theo replies, glaring at him.
"Well, what can I call you?" He asks. Theo sighs, and looks at him.
"Theo " She mutters. The man smiles.
"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you Theo" He says, holding his hand out "I'm Mike" The two shake hands. Theo looks at her watch and sees the time, groaning and rubbing her eyes.
"It's been a pleasure talking to you Mike. But I gotta go" She says, standing up. Mike follows.
"Can we talk again tomorrow?" He asks. "You know before I leave" Theo shakes her head.
"I wish I could." She replies "I don't think me and my partners are staying on this case"
"The case about the murders?" He asks. Theo looks at him in confusion "Word gets around quick" She nods her head "So what's wrong with it? Is it too weird for you?"
"Not weird enough" Theo replies.

The next day, the Winchesters are driving down a road, Theo is behind the wheel as per usual while Dean is in the passenger seat with Sam in the back, leaning back into his seat.
"All right, so we're gonna go have a little chat with this guy--which, you know... I'm down." Dean says, turning his head to look at Sam, who is sitting quietly, staring out the front windshield with a serious look on his face "But I just want to make sure, if push comes, you're gonna shove."
"Seriously Dean" Theo mutters, glancing over at him. He gives her a "what" look. Sam turns his head to look at Dean.
"Meaning?" He asks.
"Well, odds are we're gonna have to burn this guy alive" Dean answers.
"This guy has a name and a wife" Sam says.
"Yeah, who we're probably gonna make a widow, okay?" Dean says, making Theo snap her head and glare at him "I mean, you heard Travis. He's gonna turn. They always turn."
"Well, maybe he won't. Maybe he can fight it off." Sam says. Theo looks at Sam through the rear-view mirror.
"And maybe he can't," She says "that's all we're saying, Sam. We're just thinking of the possibility"
"All right, we'll just have to see then, okay?" Sam says, looking at her. She nods.
"Okay." She replies, focusing her eyes back on the road.
"This is what I mean, Sam. You sure your emotions aren't getting in the way here?" Dean asks, turning the top half of his body to turn to Sam, who looks at him with a confused look.
"Dean." Theo warns, glancing at him. However, she's ignored.
"What are you talking about?" Sam asks.
"You know, nice dude, but he's got something evil inside. Something in his blood. Maybe you can relate." Dean says. Sam looks away in anger and Theo snaps her head at Dean, punching him in the arm.
"You son of a bitch!" She yells.
"What?!" Dean says, holding his arm.
"Don't you ever say that to him again, you asshole!" She says "What about me, huh? I have something in me, you gonna call me evil?!"
"That's not what I-"
"Stop the car" Sam says bluntly. Dean and Theo stop their argument and turn to look at Sam in confusion.
"What?" Dean asks. Sam ignores him and looks at Theo.
"Stop the car, Theo" He repeats. She furrows her brows.
"Why?" She asks.
"Just stop the car or I will!" He yells. The three share a look before Theo drives to the side of the road, but before the car has completely slowed to a stop, Sam has already opened his door and is getting out. As Dean opens his door, Sam slams his own shut and turns around to him, angry. Theo follows and looks between the two.
"You want to know why I've been lying to you?" Sam asks angrily "Because of crap like this." Dean walks around the front of the car over to Sam and Theo.
"Like what?" Dean asks.
"The way you talk to me, the way you look at me like I'm a freak!" Sam walks past Dean and Theo, and then turns around to face them, now completely pissed off- mostly towards Dean. "You know, or even worse, like I'm an idiot!" He walks up to Dean, almost getting in his face "Like I don't know the difference between right and wrong!" He backs away from Dean then looks to Theo, having a slightly calmer tone "You look at me like your worried I'm going to explode or fall apart any second." She shakes her head, looking at him with a frown.
"I'm sorry" She says. Sam steps away and turns his back to the twins. He stops and put his hands on his hips. Dean then glances at Theo then at Sam before lowering his head. Sam turns around to see him doing so.
"What?" He asks. Dean looks up at him again, and now he sounds a bit angry.
"Do you know the difference, Sam?" Dean asks, making Theo look at him "I mean, you've been kind of strolling a dark road lately." She frowns, remembering what Castiel had told her.
"You have no idea what I'm going through. None." Sam says.
"You lost Theo when she died, and you know what?" Dean asks, furrowing his eyebrows and taking a step closer to Sam, making Theo step closer- ready to jump in if needed "I did too! She's my twin sister!"
"That's not the only thing I'm talking about, Dean!" Sam shouts.
"Then enlighten us!" Dean shouts back.
"I've got demon blood in me" Sam shouts "This disease pumping through my veins, and I can't ever rip it out or scrub it clean! I'm a whole new level of freak!" Sam takes a breather while Dean and Theo keep their eyes on him "And I'm just trying to take this - this curse... and make something good out of it. Because I have to." Sam looks down while Dean looks away, Theo keeps her eyes on her brothers. After a while, Dean finally says something in a calm voice.
"Let's just go talk to the guy" He says, making Sam scoff and Theo bump his arm "I mean Jack. Okay?" After a moment, Sam gives a small, almost non-existent nod, but he doesn't look at Dean or Theo.
"We'll give him a chance, Sam." Theo says, making Sam and Dean look at her "But if he can't pull through, then I'm sorry but we do what we have to do" Sam hesitates before nodding while Dean shakes his head in anger. She gives Dean another one of her intimidating glares and he backs down, nodding slightly through a sigh.
==
Later the three arrive at Jack Montgomery's house. Jack is standing in his garden holding a hose, watering the plants. He seems completely spaced out, just holding the hose, and staring into nothing. Sam, Dean and Theo then emerge through the backdoor to the garden behind Jack and they walk over to him.
"Jack Montgomery?" Sam asks. Jack doesn't turn right away, take a moment, and then he just looks around, over at the three. Sam continues "I'm Sam Winchester. This is my brother, Dean. And my sister, Theo" He says, gesturing to the two. Jack turns around and looks at them as they walk up to him.
"We need to talk" Theo says. Jack looks at her and then at Sam then to Dean, who looks around a bit before looking back at Theo.
"About?" Jack asks.
"About you" Theo answers. "About how you're changing"
"Excuse me?" Jack asks.
"You're probably feeling your bones move under your skin." Dean says "And your appetite's reaching, you know, "hungry hungry hippo" levels. How am I doing so far?"
"Who the hell are you guys?" Jack asks.
"We're people who know a little something about something." Dean answers.
"We're people who can help. Please, just hear us out." Sam says. Later the three explain to Jack about what he is and after a few minutes, Jack was completely confused and in disbelief. Sam took this time to sit down.
"A-a what?" He asks.
"A rougarou." Theo answers "Sounds made-up, I know, but believe me, it's not."
"Alright, I've noticed certain things." Jack agrees. "I mean, some strange things. But I just, I-I don't know. I'm.. I'm sick or something."
"Your father was one of these things" Sam says. Jack turns around to Sam at that "Your real father. He passed it on to you"
"No." Jack says, shaking his head "Are-are you guys listening to yourselves? You s-sound like you're-"Jack is cut of by Dean.
"Skip the whole "you guys sound crazy", shall we? You're hungry, Jack. You're only gonna get hungrier." Dean says.
"Hungrier for?" Jack asks.
"Long pig" Theo answers "You know, a little manburger helped, may have crossed your mind already"
"No" Jack says.
"It doesn't have to be like this, Jack. You can fight it off." Sam says.
"No" Jack repeats.
"Others have" Theo says.
"We're not gonna lie to you, though. It's not gonna be easy. You're gonna feel like an alcoholic swimming around in whiskey. But I'm telling you." Dean says, "You gotta say no... or-"
"Or what?" Jack asks.
"You feed once, and it's all over." Theo says "And then we'll have to stop you."
"Stop me?" Jack asks and Theo nods her head "My dad, did uh, somebody stop him?"
"Yes" Sam answers.
"Get off my property right now." Jack demands "I see you guys again; I'm calling the cops."
"Jack, your wife, everybody you know, they're in danger." Sam says, standing up.
"Now!" Jack yells. Jack's neighbour, who's cutting a bush, looks over at them when Jack raises his voice. Sam sighs and they begin to walk away.
"Good talk" Dean says sarcastically.
"Shut it" Theo says before looking at Sam "I'm sorry Sam, we tried" Sam frowns and nods-accepting what's going to happen.
==
After dark, the Winchesters followed Jack to an abandoned park in the Impala. They watch him sitting on a bench, on the phone before hanging up. He then looks up at the building across the street from him and they follow his gaze to where a woman is undressing.
"What a gentleman" Theo says sarcastically, shaking her head. Dean hums in response as the woman closes her curtains. Jack stands and he continues to stare at the window before he starts to walk across the street, to the woman's building.
"Damn it. Jack. No" Sam says, pulling up the flame flower and exiting the car. Dean and Theo grabs their flamethrowers and they follow after him.
"Come on" Dean says. They rush quickly to the building where they see Jack climbing up the fire-escape. They head for the stairs to the entrance and they hurry in, wasting no time. They make it to the apartment where they kick down the door and hurry through it, flamethrowers at the ready. They meet the woman, who's just coming out of her bedroom and they scare the living hell out of her with their entrance. She screams and backs into her bathroom
"Wait!" Theo yells. The woman slams the door. Dean, Theo and Sam are still standing by the front door, looking a bit confused.
"Whoa, uh, we're here to save you, I guess." Dean says. Sam looks around as the woman locks her bedroom door.
"I'm calling the police!" She warns through the door.
"We should go" Sam says, looking at his siblings.
"Yeah" Dean agrees. They hurry out, Theo turns around and begins closing before peeking her head around.
"Sorry for the damage" She says before closing the door with a little embarrassed laugh. The frame of the door, where the lock is, is completely broken. She looks at her brothers "We need to stop breaking down these doors. I can't image how much money we owe people for their doors"
==
The three arrive back at Jack's house and they pull up in front of the house to which they see a car on the other side of the street. They slowly get out, flamethrowers in hand. Theo walks around the Impala to Sam and Dean.
"I guess now we know where Travis is" She says. They start walking towards the house.
"That stupid son of a bitch" Sam says. Dean and Theo look looks over at Sam by that comment. They then reach the porch steps. The front door of the Montgomery Residence slowly opens and Theo comes in first, eyes on the stairs.
As she moves in, Sam and Dean follows. They stop by the entrance to the living room where they see a chair that was fallen to the floor but didn't see anyone. They then trained their eyes onto the floor where they saw a pool of blood soaked up by the carpet. They follow with their eyes the blood trail and it led from the pool to behind the coach. The three share a look. Behind the couch lays a lump of meat, as Sam walks over to it, closely followed by Dean and Theo. They stop by it and looks down, breathing deeply.
"Oh, God." Theo says, moving her gaze away from the meat on the floor. Dean doing the same "Think that's Travis?" Sam sighs.
"What's left of him" Sam replies, still looking down at the meat. The twins look at him to see he looks defeated. "Guess you were right about Jack" Before either Dean or Theo can response, Dean is suddenly pushed forward and Jack jumps him from behind.
"Dean!" Theo yells. Jack slams Dean onto the coffee table, knocking him out. Sam quickly moves around them and pulls up his flamethrower and puts up his lighter in front of it, to light it. Jack turns around to him and jumps him before he can get a flame. Theo then pulls up her flamethrower and puts up her lighter, ready to blow the flame. However, Jack pulls Sam in front of him as a shield as he looks at her with his eyes bloodshot and his skin peeling. Theo stops what she's doing and Jack quickly slams Sam's head against the wall, making him fall unconscious.  Theo goes to lift up her flamethrower again only to be tackled to the floor by Jack, making her hit her head of the floor. She tries to light the flamethrower again but he grabs it from her and slams it against her head, knocking her out.
==
Sam is on the floor of the closet, knocked out. He slowly wakes up. After a second, he remembers where he is and he gets up and goes for the door handle, but it's locked.
"Dean? Theo?" Sam asks, turning the door handle quickly.
"Dean and Theo can't come to the phone right now" Jack says from the living room. Sam slams his hands against the door twice, angry.
"Jack! If you hurt them, I swear to God!" Sam threatens.
"Calm down!" Jack yells. He looks over at Dean, who is still lying on the coffee table, knocked out. He then looks over at Theo, who is now tied in the chair that was knocked over when they came in. Jack sits between Dean and Theo on the floor "They're alive" Sam relaxes a bit with that news and rests his head against the door, panting "But not if you don't calm down"
"Alright, Jack. Listen." Sam says, now completely calm "Open the door. We can figure this out, okay?" Jack laughs at that.
"We'll have ourselves a little brainstorming session" Jack says as he's close to tears out of desperation.
"Jack" Sam says "Please"
"I don't think so" Jack says "After what you did?" Sam is confused by that.
"What?" Sam asks "What are you talking about?"
"You send your friend here" Jack answers "He tried to burn my wife alive"
"What? Why?" Sam asks as he goes through his pockets. Jack realizes they don't know, so he lies.
"He didn't say" Jack replies. Sam looks around and sees a metal hanger, grabbing it. "I guess psychopaths don't have to explain themselves." He looks over at Theo and slowly begins to reach up to her. Unknowing to him, Theo is secretly beginning to try and get out of her ropes on her wrists.
"Listen to me. You gotta believe me" Sam says. "My brother, sister and I, we would never have hurt her, okay?" Jack comes up to Theo's face, who's trying to stay still and not recoil back. With a shaking hand, Jack reaches out and dips his fingers in the little pool of blood that has formed by Theo's head. He turns his hand over, looking at the blood on his fingers before sucking it off, enjoying the taste. He begins to rock back and forth.
"Oh, God. I'm so hungry" Jack says. Sam used the metal wired hanger and re-formed it so he can pick the lock.
"Jack, don't do this" Sam please, bending down and going for the lock. Jack turns towards the closet door.
"I can't ever see my family again" He says as Sam continues to work the lock. Jack turns back to Dean and Theo, looking between the two. "Your three... your friend. You made me into this!"
"No one's making you kill us" Sam says, still working the lock. It won't agree with him and he takes down his hands for a moment "Listen to me" Jack is looking up at the ceiling and then he looks down again as Sam speaks. "You got this dark pit inside you. I know" Sam leans against the door again, with his eyes closed "Believe me I know" He opens
his eyes "But that doesn't mean you have to fall into it. You don't have to be a monster." He begins to work on the lock again. Jack laughs as that.
"Have you seen me lately?" Jack asks.
"It doesn't matter what you are." Sam says "It only matters what you do. It's your choice." Jack sits still for a moment and then he grunts in pain.
"I think I'll start with your brother first" Jack says as he begins to move up to Dean's head again, with his mouth open, looking like he's slowly going down the road of eating Dean. Dean slowly begins to wake up now. Jack puts a hand on his shoulder, eyes completely fixed upon Dean.
"Hey asshole" A voice besides Jack says. He turns his head only for a shoe to collide with his face, sending him on his back. Theo stands above him, breathing deeply "See how you like it" The door to the closet then slams open and Jack shoots up, crouching and turning his head to where Sam is, holding a flamethrower and lighter in hand and ready to light. Jack sits still for a moment, like he decides something, while Sam and Theo are only watching him. Then he lunges for Sam and as Dean slowly lifts his head and is slowly turning it around over his shoulder, only to see Sam flipping the lighter and the flamethrower goes off. Theo crouches down besides Dean, shielding him from the flamethrower before the two turn their heads back and watches Sam burns Jack alive. Jack finally falls to the floor, in flames. Dean and Theo looks over at Sam, who's sad by this outcome - Defeated even.
==
Later that night, the Impala comes down a road fast. They're driving under silence, Theo behind the wheels. Dean in the passenger and Sam in the back. Theo looks at Sam in the rear-view mirror, who's just staring out the window. She looks back at the road.
"You did the right thing, you know." Theo says "That guy was a monster, there was no going back." Sam doesn't respond, he only lowers his head.
"Sam, I wanna tell you I'm sorry." Dean says "I've been kind of hard on you lately." Sam lifts his head again, looking out, and he looks so broken.
"Don't worry about it, Dean" Sam says.
"It's just that your, uh, your psychic thing, it scares the crap out of me."
"Look, if it's all the same... I'd really rather not talk about it." Sam says, looking over at Dean. Dean looks back at him and a little smile plays on his lips.
"Wait a minute. What?" Dean asks. "You don't want to talk? You?" He looks to Theo "Can you believe it, he doesn't want to talk" Theo shakes her head, smiling a little bit ah her brother's attempt to joke.
"There's nothing more to say. I can't keep explaining myself to you. I can't make you understand." Sam says.
"Why don't you try?" Theo asks softly.
"I can't." Sam replies "Because this thing, this blood, it's not in you the way it's in me. It's just something I got to deal with."
"I mean that's partially right" Theo says. "But remember Sam, you’re not doing it alone. Not when you have us as siblings "Sam sighs and looks out through the back window. He's silent for a while before speaking up.
"Anyway, it doesn't matter. These powers... it's playing with fire. I'm done with them." Sam says. Dean and Theo share a look before looking back at Sam "I'm done with everything"
"Really?" Dean asks. Sam continues to look out his window and Theo turns back to the road, Dean shortly following "Well, that's a relief. Thank you" Sam looks at him, scoffing a little.
"Don't thank me. I'm not doing it for you. Or Theo.  Or for the angels or for anybody. This is my choice." Sam says. Dean and Theo nods.
"It will always be your choice, Sammy" Theo says, smiling. Sam doesn't respond and they continue to drive in silence. A peaceful and surprising silence.

Later that night the Impala is driving down a road. Theo is behind the wheels with Dean is the passenger and Sam is the back, leaning forwards. It seems they've been driving under silence for a while after Theo had told Sam and Dean about what she found out in the past about their mom and family.
"I can't believe it. Mom, a hunter?" Dean says, shocked.
"I wouldn't have believed it either if I hadn't seen it myself" Theo replies with a smile "That woman could kick some ass. I mean, she almost took me down."
"How'd she look?" Sam asks. He shakes his head and rephrases his question "question I mean... was she happy?"
"Yeah, she was awesome. Funny and smart. So hopeful." Theo says, looking back at Sam for a moment and then back on the road "Dad, too. Until of course..." Sam sighs and looks away.
"What?" Dean asks, turning his head to look at Sam.
"Nothing" Sam replies, shrugging "It's just, our parents. And now we find out our grandparents and granduncle too? Our whole family murdered and for what? So Yellow Eyes could get in my nursery and bleed in my mouth?" Theo goes a bit "huh..?"  faced over that last statement, thinking about what she's told Sam and Dean about the past. She looks back at Sam, tilting her head.
"Sam, I never said anything about demon blood." Theo says. Dean looks confused to before furrowing his brows, turning his head to face Sam, who looks guilty.
"You knew about that?" Dean asks. Theo turns to face the road again. Sam still doesn't look at Dean nor Thro through the rear-view mirror.
"Yeah," He admits "for about a year." Dean looks out through the window again before turning his head back forwards.
"A whole year?" Theo asks.
"I should have told you two." Sam replies "I'm sorry."
"You've been saying that a lot lately, Sam." Dean says, shaking head head "But whatever. You don't want to tell us, you don't have to. It's fine."
"Dean" Sam says, looking over at Dean, who continues to look out the front window. Sam then looks to his sister "Theo" She looks at him in the rear-view mirror, furrowed browns and a frown before going back to concentrating on the road "Whatever" He says, leaning back into his seat and sighing.
==
The three arrive in Missouri, Carthage and they reach Jack Montgomery's house. They all watch him from outside using binoculars.
"Are you sure that's him?" Dean asks, lowering the binoculars down from his eyes and looking back at Sam.
"Only Jack Montgomery in town." Sam answers, looking at Dean.
"And we're looking for..." Dean trails off as Theo lifts up another pair of binoculars of her own to her eyes and looks at Jack drinking a beer.
"Travis said to keep an eye out for anything weird." Sam answers.
"Weird?" Dean questions.
"Yeah" Sam replies.
"Alright, well, yeah, I've seen big weird, little weird, weird with crazy on top. But this guy? I mean, come on, this guy's boring." Theo says, dropping the binoculars to look at Sam.
"I don't know, Dean. Travis seemed pretty sure." Sam says as he lifts up another pair of binoculars to his eyes. Not ever a minute later they watch as Travis begins to have a food craze: he grabs the leftover chicken, and starts eating, not bothering with platers or utensils. He begins to eat frantically, like he's not gotten food in days. He throws the finished chicken aside and grabs a pack of uncooked meat and opens it up and starts eating the raw meat, throwing looks over his shoulder for his wife.
"And I thought I got hungry" Theo says, dropping the binoculars with a disgust expression. The brothers do the same, each having a disgust look.
"I'd say that qualifies as weird." Sam says.
==
Back at ther motel room, the three comes through the door, and stops as they've just entered, seeing something in their room - A smile coming onto Dean and Theo's lips.
"Travis" Dean says says. Travis is sat by the table, beer in hand. "See, Guys. Told you we should have hidden the beer." Dean says sarcastically.
"Smartass. Get over here" Travis laughs and he and Dean hugs. "Ahh, good to see you"
"You too" Dean replies. The two break apart and Travis looks to Theo, smiling, and holding his arms out for a hug.
“Good to see ya man” Theo says, hugging Travis.
"Still as beautiful as ever, Theodora. Broke any more hearts?" Travis says.
"Quite a few" Theo says, laughing as they break apart from the hug "You've gotten bigger, you’re a lot more huggable" She jokes, making them laugh.
"Good to see you" Travis says,
"You too, Travis" Sam replies. They break and Travis looks up at Sam, huffing out a laugh.
"Man, you got tall, kid." Travis says, making the four of them laugh. "How long has it been?"
"Ah, gotta be 10 years" Sam replies.
"You still a. oh, what was it... a mathlete?" Travis asks. Sam scoffs a little.
"No" He replies. Theo laughs.
"Yep, sure is" She says.
"Been too long, guys. I mean, look at you. Grown men and woman." Travis says, looking between the three "John would have been damn proud of you. Sticking together like this."
"Yeah. Yeah, we're as thick as thieves." Dean says, looking at Sam, who's smile is disappearing with Dean's words. Theo shakes her head, sighing "Nothing more important than family." Travis walks over to the table, as Dean follows, ignoring Sam. Theo places her hand on his arm, smiling at him before following Dean.
"Sorry I'm late for the dance." Travis says as he and Dean sit down at the table, while Theo and Sam sit down on the bed besides Dean, across from Travis. "Thanks for helping out an old man. I'm a little, uh, shorthanded." He indicates his right hand and arm, which is covered in a cast and they laugh "So, you track down Montgomery?"
"Yeah, we found him at his home" Sam replies.
"And" Travis asks.
"Well, he had a hell of a case of the munchies, topped off with a burger he forgot to cook." Theo replies, shivering in disgust as she remembers what she witnessed. "He was eating as if it was his last dinner"
"That's him alright" Travis says.
"What's him?" Dean asks.
"Guys, we got a rougarou on our hands." Travis says.
"A rougarou?" Dean asks. He looks over at Sam and Theo for a second "Is that made up?" He then looks back at Travis before Sam or Theo could answer "That sounds made up"
"Everything sounds made up to you, Dean" Theo mutters, earning her a glare from Dean and a light chuckle from Sam and Travis.
"They're mean, nasty little suckers. Rotted teeth, wormy skin, the works." Travis explains.
"Well, that ain't this guy." Dean says, shaking his head "I mean, he was wearing a cell phone on his belt."
"He'll turn ugly soon enough. They start out human, for all intents and purposes." Travis says.
"So, what? They go through some kind of metamorphosis?" Sam asks.
"Yep, like a maggot turning into a bull fly." Travis replies "But most of all-- they're hungry"
"Hungry for what?" Theo asks.
"At first, for everything, but then... for long pig." Sam exhales at that, understanding what Travis meant. Theo scrunches her face up, also understanding what he means. Dean however looks confused.
"Long pig?" He asks.
"He means human flesh" Sam answers.
"And that is my word of the day" Dean says
"Hunger grows in, till they can't fight it." Travis says "Till they got to take themselves a big, juicy chomp, and then it happens."
"What happens?" Sam asks.
"They transform completely and fast." Travis replies. "One bite's all it takes. Eyes, teeth, skin; all turns. No going back either. They feed once, they're a monster forever. And our man Jack's headed there on a bullet train."
"Well, how'd you find this guy if he's a walking, talking human?" Theo asks.
"Let’s just say it runs in his family." Travis answers.
"You mean, uh..." Sam trails off.
"Killed his daddy back in '78." Travis explains "Son of a bitch mangled 8 bodies before I put him down. Guy used to be a dentist. Cadillac, trophy wife... Little did I know, pregnant trophy wife. She put the boy up for adoption. By the time I found out, he was long gone, lost in the system."
"You mean to tell me you couldn't find someone?" Sam asks, making Travis sigh.
"I'm not sure I wanted to." Travis says, making Dean tilt his head in confusion "The idea of hunting down some poor kid... I don't think I'd have the heart." The siblings nod their heads, knowing they too probably could hunt down a kid "No. I wanted to wait, make damn sure I had the right man. Apparently, I do." The three exchange a look and sigh while Travis takes a swig of the beer.
==
Dean, Theo and Travis sit by the table, fixing gas cans that look like tiny fire-extinguishers for use.
"So fire, huh?" Dean asks.
"The only way I found to kill these bastards; deep-fry 'em." Travis says, still working on his gas can.
"Well, that's gonna be... horrible." Theo says, tilting her head "Is that what you did to Jack's dad?"
"Uh-huh." Travis replies, not looking up at her. The door to the motel opens and Sam comes into the room, papers in hand.
"Not wasting any time, are you?" Sam asks, walking over to them.
"None to waste." Travis says "The guy hulks out, we won't be finding bodies, just remains." Sam sits down on the bed next to the table.
"What if he doesn't hulk out?" Sam asks, making the three look up at him "I did a little homework. Uh, I've been checking out the lore on rougarous."
"What? My 30 years of experience not good enough for you?" Travis asks, sounding slightly offended.
"What?" Sam asks "No. No, I-I- I just wanted to be prepared. I mean, not that you didn’t."
"Sam loves research." Dean says, making Travis nod "He does. He keeps it under his mattress right next to his KY. It's a sickness." He looks over at Sam "It is. Must have got it from Theo back in the day" Theo gives Dean a side glance, rolling her eyes.
"Look, everything you said checked out, of course, but uh. I found a couple of interesting stories about people who have this rougarou gene or whatever. See, they start to turn, but they never take the final step." Sam explains as Theo and Dean side glance Travis every now and then to see how he acts.
"Really?" Theo asks, surprised and hopeful that they won't have to burn Jack.
"See, if they never eat human flesh, they don't fully transform." Sam says, looking at her.
"So what?" She asks "Go vegan, stay human?"
"Basically. Sam says "Or in this case, eat a lot of raw meat, just not..."
"Long pig" Dean finishes.
"Right" Sam says. Dean and Theo smiles a little, Travis is sat in silence- taking in everything Sam has just said.
"Good on you for the due diligence, Sam." He says, standing up "But those are fairy tales." He walks over to the little pantry and pours himself another cup of coffee "Fact is, every rougarou I ever saw or heard of... took that bite."
"Okay, well, that doesn't mean that Jack will" Sam says, while standing up. Dean and Theo watches Sam rise and then stand up themselves.
"So what do we do?" Travis asks "Sit and hope and wait for a body count?
"No, we talk to him. Explain what's happening. That way he can fight it." Sam says. Theo looks at the papers that Sam brought in with him, Dean standing beside her and looking too.
"Fight it?" Travis asks, laughing "Are you kidding me? You ever been really hungry?" Both Theo and Dean look up at Travis in unison "I mean, haven't-eaten-in-days hungry?"
"Yeah" Dean replies and Theo nods.
"Definitely" She says.
"Yeah. Right then. So, somebody slaps a big, juicy sirloin in front of you, you walking away?" Theo sighs and lowers her head, knowing the answer. Dean looks thoughtful for a second and then admits "no" without words, only raising of eyebrows. He and Theo slowly looks over at Sam. "That's what we are to him now, meat on legs." Dean looks back down at the paper in Theo's hand while Theo looks between Travis and Sam "I'm sorry. I'm sure he's a stand-up guy, but it's pure, base instinct. Everything in nature's gotta eat. You think he can stop himself 'cause he's nice?"
"I don't know." Sam says with a firm and serious tone "But we're not gonna kill him unless he does something to get killed for."  Dean and Theo looks over at him at that. Sam takes a few breaths and then walks out of the room. Travis looks over at Dean and Theo, a bit puzzled by Sam's reaction.
"What's up with your brother?" He asks. Dean and Theo look over at the door and Dean turns to Travis.
"Don't get me started" Dean replies as he turns to sit down again. Theo sighs.
"He's just always thinking of the good side of people" She says, sitting down at the table.
"Well, it's going to get him killed one day" Travis says "Not everyone is good, and they will use that against him, Theo" She nods.
"I know, I know." She says. "And he knows it to it's just that he finds it hard to comprehend killing someone who looks like he's a victim rather than the monster"
"Well, he better start looking at them at being a monster, or he's gonna mess up and people will be killed" Travis says, turning his back to them. Dean sits down at the table and looks at his sister.
"Sammy's always been like that" Dean says. She looks up at him "That's why he is the best of us" She nods, smiling.
"We did good, huh?" Theo asks, smiling. Dean nods, chuckling lightly.
"Hell, yeah we did" He replies.

Theo grabs her phone from her jacket pocket and begins to type in the numbers before holding it close to her ear, all while pacing the motel room back and forth.
"Dean" She says.
"Theo! Where the hell have you been!?" Dean asks "I can't find Sam either. I've been looking everywhere for you two!"
"I'm in our motel room" Theo answers, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"How are you ther-" Dean begins to ask but is cut off by Theo.
"Look there's no time to explain right now but we need to go and get Sam" She replies "Just come pick me up"
"You know where he is?" Dean asks.
"Yes. Now hurry up!"
"Fine, but next time you scare me like that again, you’re gonna get it." Dean says, grumbling "I thought you got yourself dragged back to hell"
"Yeah yeah, whatever-" Theo says, clearing her throat "Oh and Dean?"
"Yeah?" He replies, confused.
"Don't take my car again without me knowing" She says, smiling before hanging up.

At a warehouse at night sits a man, who is possessed by a demon, tied to a chair in the centre of a Devil's Trap. Sam is in front of him, interrogating all the while Ruby stands nearby.
"Where's Lilith?" Sam asks.
"Kiss my ass" The man replies, his eyes going back. Sam smiles at his comment.
"I'd watch myself if I were you" Sam replies.
"Why?" The demon asks "Huh? Because you're Sam Winchester, Mr. Big Hero? And yet here you are, slutting around with some demon. Real hero."
"Shut your mouth." Sam warns.
"Tell me about those months without your brother and sister." The demon taunts "About all the things you and this demon bitch do in the dark." Ruby looks over at Sam while the man continues "Huh? Tell me, hero" Sam can't control his anger and begins to force the demon out of the man. The man gags as the black smoke falls out of his mouth and onto the Devil's Trap underneath him before burning through the floor, and Sam breathes, trying to get himself under control. Ruby looks down on the floor where the demon burned through and a little smile plays on her lips. She looks over at Sam, and they exchange a look and he gets a little smile as well. Unnoticed by the two, Dean and Theo stand in the window behind Sam, witnessing everything that he just did. The twins both exchange a look at what they have witnessed.
The man that the demon had been possessing is unconscious, still tied to the chair with his head hanging low. Sam touches his neck to check if he has a pulse, which he does, and smiles up at Ruby. She returns the smile.
"How'd it feel?" She asks as Sam looks back at the man.
"Good. No more headaches." Sam replies as he begins to untie the man.
"None?" Ruby asks "That's good" The man begins to slowly wake up and looks at Sam, confused.
"Hey, hey. I got you. It's all right." Sam says as he helps the man out of his char. All the while Ruby gives Sam and somewhat evil and mischievous smile. Sam begins walking him towards the door, when Theo opens it-Dean following. Sam stops in his tracks at Theo and Dean's angry expressions.
"Heya Sammy" Dean says, standing beside his sister.
"so.." Theo trails off, crossing her arms "Anything you wanna tell us, Sam?" She asks. Sam looks innocent and Ruby stands behind him, just watching Dean and Theo, who begins walking forwards while she talks.
"Guys, hold on, okay?" Sam asks "Just let me-"
"You gonna say, "let me explain"? You're gonna explain this?" Dean asks "How about this? Why don't you start with who she is, and what the hell is she doing here?" Dean looks at him hard, Theo looking at him with slight guilt in her eyes but none the less hard. Sam turns back and looks at Ruby who looks completely calm, and even smiles as she looks between Theo and Dean.
"It's good to see you two again, Dean, Theo" She says.
"Ruby?" Theo asks, uncrossing her arms. Ruby smiles a little, and Dean looks at Sam. Theo follows his gaze.
"Is that Ruby?" He asks. Sam doesn't respond and Theo looks over at Ruby again, who's smile is fading. After moment, Theo grabs hold of her and shoves her up against the wall. Theo pulls out her knife and as she's about to strike only for her hand to be grabbed by Sam.
"Don't!" Sam says. They struggle for the knife. Sam gets it out of Theo's hand and into his own, just as Dean walks up to Sam and pushes him up against the wall. Ruby then grabs Theo and pins her up against the wall she had her against seconds earlier. "Ruby!" Sam pushes Dean off him as the two look over at the girls "Stop it!" She just stares into Theo's eyes and she keeps a chokehold with her right hand, and Theo stares right back, angry. Finally, Ruby let’s go and Theo rises up to her full height, looking over at Sam and then back at Ruby.
"Well, aren't you an obedient little bitch?" Theo taunts. Ruby doesn't reply but from the look on her face, it's clear she wants to attack Theo again.
"Ruby" Sam says softly. The two girls continue to stare at each other for a few more moments, before Ruby turns to face Sam "Ruby, he's hurt" He says, indicating his head to the man that was possessed "Go" Ruby gives Theo one more look and then turns and walks over to the man, and as Dean and Theo watches her, she puts the man’s arms over her shoulder, ready to take him out.
"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Dean asks, stepping forward slightly.
"The ER..." Ruby answers before looking over at Theo "Unless you want to go another round first." Neither Theo or Dean reply and she walks out of the warehouse with the man. The twins turn to look at Sam, who's watching them.
"Dean. Theo" Dean walks to the door he came in through, leaving Sam behind "Dean!" Theo steps forward, looking at where Dean left then back to Sam. He sighs. She gives him a sad look and grabs his arm gently, pulling him with her and out the building.

Later in the day, Sam is sat in the motel room at the table, reading a book. Theo sits opposite him, cleaning her gun. She keeps looking up at Sam, going to talk only to close her mouth and continue to clean her gun. Sam looks up every now and then and catches her before sighing and leaning back in his seat.
"Okay" He says, looking at her "Just say it"
"Say what?" Theo asks, not looking up from her gun.
"That your pissed at me" Sam replies "That you hate me because I'm working with Ruby" Theo sighs, placing her gun and the rag down. She looks up at him.
"I'm not pissed at you, Sammy" She says "Disappointed yes, but I don't hate you" She smiles, leaning forward to rest her arms on the table "Your old enough to look after yourself. But I do think you should reconsider working with Ruby" Sam nods.
"She is helping me. I'm getting better using my powers to exorcise demons and the victims always come out alive" Sam says, looking at her "Ruby's taught me how to use my powers to help people" Theo sighs.
"But have you ever took a second to think that she might be using you?" Theo asks. Sam looks down. "Look, Sam, I just want the best for you. I want to be able to sleep at night knowing that you’re not out there doing god knows what with Ruby"
"I know, but you shouldn't have to worry about me." Sam says quietly.
"Your my little brother, Sam. I'm always going to worry about you. That's like my job." Theo says, chuckling. "And I know I said that your old enough to look after yourself, but I mean it when I say that I'll always care for you, no matter how old we get. And I'll always be there for you." She smiles at him "Nothing's going to change that"
"And I don't want it to change" Sam replies. smiling back up at her. The two then are interrupted by the sound of the door opening and Dean enters. He doesn't look at neither and he walks straight into the room. Sam gets out of his chair the minute Dean enters, while Theo remains seated as she watches her twin grab his bag and begins to pack up his stuff.
"Dean, what are you doing?" Sam asks, walking over to him. Dean turns his head to look at Theo.
"Pack your stuff up" Dean says, ignoring Sam's question.
"What?" Theo asks, standing up.
"What, are you, are you leaving?" Sam asks.
"You don't need us" Dean says, gesturing to himself and Theo "You and Ruby go fight demons." Dean grabs his bag and turns to Theo. "I'll wait in the car for you, be quick "
"Really Dean, we're not actually leaving Sam?" Theo asks. Dean doesn't answer as he starts for the door, only for Sam to stand in the way so Dean has to go around him.
"Hold on. Dean, come on, man." Dean turns around and punches Sam in the face with his right hand. Sam whirls around by the force.
"Dean! What the hell!" Theo shouts, walking towards them only for Sam to hold his hand up for her to stop. Dean just watches him as he turns back around to Dean.
"You satisfied?" Sam asks. Dean hits him again, and then throws his bag on the floor. Sam touches his lip, which is bleeding. "I guess not" Theo comes to stand beside them, ready to jump in the middle in necessary.
"Do you even know how far off the reservation you've gone?" Dean asks "How far from normal? From human?" Theo glares at Dean, but he doesn't notice her look.
"I'm just exorcising demons." Sam replies.
"With your mind!" Dean yells. Sam looks down like a sad puppy at his brother's yelling.
"Enough!" Theo shouts back, staring at Dean with the intimidating eyes she did with Castiel. He shakes his head and Theo turns to Sam and sigh, calmly asks "What else can you do?"
"I can send them back to hell." Sam replies "It only works with demons, and that's it." Dean pushes Theo to the side and grabs hold of Sam's shirt and pushes him backwards, walking with the force.
"What else can you do?!" Dean asks for forcefully, not satisfied with his answer.
"I told you!" Sam shouts, pushing Dean's hand off his shirt and they stop moving. Theo turns her body around to face them while pinching the bridge of her nose.
"And I have every reason in the world to believe that." Dean says sarcastically.
"Dean" Theo warns, lifting her head to glare at him. Dean begins to walk away from Sam as Theo watches the two.
"Look, I should have said something." Sam says, making Dean stop. His back however is still to Sam "I'm sorry, Dean. I am. But try to see the other side here. Hell Theo can see it" Dean looks at her and she nods before he turns around and faces him.
"The other side?" Dean asks.
"I'm pulling demons out of innocent people." Sam replies.
"Use the knife!" Dean shouts.
"The knife kills the victim!" Sam replies "What I do, most of them survive! Look, I've saved more people in the last five months than we save in a year."
"That what Ruby want you to think? Huh? Kind of like the way she tricked you into using your powers?" Dean asks. Theo snaps her head to Dean, suddenly thinking of what he said as he continues "Slippery slope, brother. Just wait and see. Because it's gonna get darker and darker, and God knows where it ends."
"I'm not gonna let it go too far." Dean smiles at that, walks over to the wall and hits the lamp on the side table, making it crash and fly. He turns around to face Theo and Sam, anger across his face again.
"It's already gone too far, Sam. If I didn't you know..." Dean pauses, hesitating to continue "I would wanna hunt you." Theo looks up in shock, yet shame that he's right. They would want to hunt Sam. It's their job after all. Kill anything or anyone that threatens or is going to threaten. Sam's eyes become tearful, and he nods at that, looking down "And so would other hunters" Theo look down too, processing what's been said before nodding in agreement. Sam looks over at her, seeing her contemplated look.
"You were gone, Theo." He says, looking at her with a tearful expression. She looks up at him, eyes soft "Me and Dean were here. We had to keep on fighting without you. Dean he- he didn't want me to di this, so...I left. What I'm doing...it works"
"If it's so terrific..." Theo says softly, trailing off "then why'd you lie about it to us?" Sam looks down with that "Why did an angel tell me to stop you?" Sam and Dean looks at her in surprise.
"What?" They say in unison.
"Cas said that if I don't stop you, he will. See what that means, Sam?" Theo asks" That means that God doesn't want you doing this." She says pointing up as her voice breaks "So, are you just gonna stand there and tell us everything is all good?" With tearful eyes, they exchange a look and then Sam looks down. The silence is broken by Sam's phone ringing, Dean and Theo flinches at the sound before Sam answers it.
"Hello?" Sam says, pinching the bridge of his nose-trying to collect himself "Hey. Travis. Yeah, hey" He pauses "Uh.." He pauses again, dropping his hand from his nose "It's good to hear your voice, too, yeah. Um, look, it's not a really good time right now. It's-" Sam closes his eyes "Yeah, okay. Uh, well, just give me the details, and, uh.." Sam turns around to face away from Dean and Theo, who are still watching him with watery eyes "Carthage, Missouri." The two watches Sam as he walks over to the bedside table and writes down the location "Looking for Jack Montgomery." He puts down the pen and ends the phone call. Breathing deeply, he looks over at Dean and Theo. Dean rolls his eyes, looking up as Theo wipes the tear running down her cheek.
