Is Dee gonna stay cool after the trauma and hallucinations he is experiencing everytime the medicine wears off?

I'm a new fan of your comic, I'm having fun reading it, I read the pages 10 times this days I'm just loving the every detailed oh this one.

I have a feeling this question is for me, the actual person running the blog here-- for reference in the future, if you have questions about the actual fic and not for the characters, please direct them to my main art blog @alexthenerdbird as that is where I post the updates for the fic itself and talk about it! This blog is just a fun lil side ask blog for the characters in the AU to answer questions and the like while the fic is being written!

As for your question: I have no idea what this means to be honest-- if you mean if he's going to be okay after the trauma stuff (aka, the end of the Mind Games arc) like most trauma it's not going to go away! He'll definitely get better at managing it, but it's not just something that he's going to get over! If you mean if he's going to be badass and get back into being a ninja, then of course! He's not going to stay out of commission, I have far too much planned for him :3c

Is Donnie's garden big? What sorta plants does he grow?

Not really. It's only half our balcony which isn't super huge in the first place. We grow a hand full of herbs and vegetables for food and Donnie has a plant experiment thing he has under the machine I'm talking about. I think it's supposed to make sure the plant is taken care of when he's not around? I have no idea, he installed it when we started working for Big Mama so >.>;

It's making just a sound it hasn't made before :/ I can't really describe it, but it shakes too. I'm hoping it's nothing or at least it's just something to do with the weather-- it is getting colder. who knows, we'll see I guess >.>

Also, mystics are awesome and the fact that you work hard to learn magic that is difficult for you to learn makes you even more awesome!

It really depends! Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't! The science behind it is still being determined! There were theories that it did considering how many generations of Avani resulted in similar Cores, but in recent (like fifty or so years, something like that) discoveries, it's not the case! All I know is that my family, the Van Zauber's, have been mostly Fire Cores! All except for my father, anyway lmao. ^^;

Powered up forms are natural transformations for my people! Most have changes in their eyes, wings, etc, but nothing grows besides maybe their general size-- I however, grow horns! It's weird.

In my powered up form, my ears grow longer, I get poofier, my sclera turn dark, i get cat like eyes, and my canine teeth grow longer as well. Oh! and the marks under my eyes get crazier too lmao.

It only happens in extreme emotions, btw! that's the case with most Avianine. the more passionate emotions are, the more power our core gives our powered up forms!

It's all very fascinating! It's sort of why my specialties on barracks is biological alchemy! We don't have a lot of hands in the lab nowadays considering... well, we won't get into that ^^;

And thank you! I try anyway ^^ I'm not as coordinated in combat when it comes to melee, so I have to be extra coordinated with what I'm good at! It's what got me on this mission in the first place.

But yes, right now, your brother takes priority. How are all of you doing, by the way?

It'll be fine! He hasn't left where I put him, so I'm confident there will be no issues!

So far, nothing's gone bumpy yet. Leo hasn't left Donnie's room, but Alexandri's been checking on em. Seems like he's doing fine still, just exhausted. Everyone else that was on the mission with us have been taking shifts on watch just in case they try to kidnap him again, but so far--nothing. We might be in the clear (knock on wood >.> )

I took a bath, checked on Donnie's garden (although his machine he made to keep them maintained made a funny noise? >.> I really hope its nothing) and made everyone some food! I think things are starting to look good!

Magic and mystics are SOOOOO much cooler than hairdressers! (And probably better? I can't really dye my hair because my scalp is sensitive 😞)

Also, fire magic? Awesome! What sorta fire magic can you do? Do you create flames? Manipulate them into different shapes? Change the intensity of the heat?

Hahaaa, yeah. Mystics is pretty great lmao.

All sorts of fire magic! fire balls, fire beams, molten hot piles of magma-- My affinity is fire! In my culture, when you are born, you have what is called a Core element, the one that you are most in tune with. My mother is also a Flame Core and my father is Earth. The element your core is tends to correlate with the easiest magic that us Avianine (bird dog yokai) can use! It also tends to reflect in our "powered up" forms, although mine has always looked a little different ^^;

There's not a fire or flame based spell that I don't know! if there are, I can easily learn it with my Core. And yes, because I have a fire core, ice and water based magic is often times harder for me to learn, but I work extra hard to learn them to combat it! I learn from the best and Mystic's all I really got going for me lmao.

Alas, that is the unfortunate reality of non-yokai 😔 of course, we don't have the luxury of hair dressers and other services like that on the other side of the wall—its sort of a rich human privilege so magic is our only option!

If the humans had their way, they'd outlaw mystics altogether, but I think they know better than to do that :3

Depending on what kind of magic you're able to use, it's actually a simple spell! Altering appearances is one of the beginner spells you can learn! It definitely saves on dye that's for sure c:

Although if you're a human, it may be... hard to do considering you don't have like the ability to use mystics :v
