actually I vaguely mentioned this on my modblog but I am kinda thinking about this more seriously but how many people in the community would be actually interested in a pokeask multi-animator project? like people could join and make parts about their blogs

#if you don’t know what a multi animator project is dw about it if I decide to do it I’ll make sure to include explanations on what it is #right now just kinda trying to gauge interest #to see if it’s something I should even continue to seriously consider #plus I am still recovering from surgery so it will be a while before I can do much lol #i DO have a song picked out tho already lol #ooc stuff #munday

What would a personality swap AU for the current cast look like? Flicker with Begonia, Casey and Fade and or other paired characters?

Hmm… If doing the pairings with the main mortal and main god of each arc, then the character swaps would be Begonia/Flicker, Gwyn/Fade, and Casey/Zeus.

Which honestly, just the personality swap between Casey and Zeus would cause huge differences…. Though ignoring that and keeping the general situations to canon would be fun.

Imagining Flicker as a bit more aloof but still caring just as deeply about everything, but just being better at hiding it. Fade with Gwyn’s personality is also a bit cursed to think about, along with vice versa. Shy little anxious Begonia is also kinda cursed….

OOC Ask. Flicker was a zorua when they were alive right? Did they ever use their illusion powers for any shenangains or fun?

I feel like Aster would probably be like a ditto and sometimes use her illusions to look like a rock in order to avoid attention, lol.

Not saying it's likely at this moment in time, but would Flicker shoot a flirt at Begonia first? If so... how would they react?

I feel once enough time passes, yeah! Right now Flicker’s a bit unsure of how serious Begonia is, and their relationship is kinda up in the air…

I do think eventually though, but probably only when the two of them are alone! Maybe eventually in front their friends too.

As for Begonia’s reaction, she’d be thrilled!

Just like the Flower Arc, now that the next arc is starting, I will give the warnings for it. They will all be put in the pinned post for easy reference and access, but making a new post so people who don’t check the pinned for changes will get the warning.

Destino: Wow, who decided to bring the odd squad together. I don't think I've ever seen a weirder bunch of Pokémon in a group before. Funny how friendship can form from being the misfits of Pokémon society. It's hilarious to me. Though I wouldn't be surprised if this whole friendship thing ended for you, considering how different you all are.

And are you having a picnic? Ha. Who decided that was a good idea?

How different would the characters of imaginary dreamers be in a hypothetical anthro au? With a potentially more modern/human-esque setting if that's where it'd go.

ok the funny thing here is that imaginary dreamers is already in a modern setting but it just rarely comes up because 1) I don’t like drawing buildings and 2) fade and flicker don’t really stay around populated places for personal reasons (flicker gets overwhelmed, fade doesn’t want to accidentally run into anyone)

ANYWAY. anthro setting I think would be pretty much the same? i think the biggest difference would be that instead of living in the woods, aster would probably just be a loner living in Daisy’s town. the chained part of the chainlink arc would probably have to be adjusted a bit too 🤔

#‘what is the chained part of the chainlink arc?’ you will see. eventually. soon hopefully. #ooc stuff #munday #but yeah imaginary dreamers takes place in modern times! also this is a universe where both humans and pokemon exist and are able to talk to #eachother. pokemon and human are considered equals - humans still act as trainers but it basically works more like the human being a sports #coach to their pokemon team. also some pokemon do still choose to live in the wild rather than in houses/towns etc 👍 #that is generally considered an equally acceptable thing for pokemon to do but there are some assholes about it. not really relevant to the #main story tho this is just background wordbuilding
