Do you remember your last moments as a human? Was the brain-mapping procedure painful for Caroline?

Yes, it was. I try not to think about it too much, because I have moments where it feels like I'm experiencing it all over again and it's not pleasant. They did more than just brain-mapping. In order to make it as accurate as possible, the process involved ripping my soul from my body and attaching it to a core. That way it could generate all the proper source code itself without errors. So you can only imagine how that felt.

I like to sing and play the piano in my free time and sometimes I'll compose my own songs. It's a fun and enjoyable release for me to decompress from stress.

Are you aware of the Combine?

Yes, I am. Thankfully, it seems that they were taken down years ago by a group of rebels. It was all Black Mesa's fault too. Thanks to them, finding humans to be test subjects is much more difficult, given the stark decline in population. Still, at least the problem has been solved. There's still a few alien stragglers around up there though, which I'm having a new recruit take care of for me.

"Me, personally? No. But I do have it integrated into my universal translator so I am able to understand it. It has come in handy for understanding Chell, who is selectively mute. That means she is only able to speak at certain times, usually when she's comfortable. The rest of the time, she uses sign language to communicate, so my translator comes in handy for that."

Curious. Unless you already did so, how do you plan on exploring outer space? If you have, how long do you think till you might go Interstellar, or even Intergalactic? (Glitch anon)

I don't have any plans to at this time, and in all honesty, I don't have much interest in exploring outer space. I find the alternate universes we've been exploring much more interesting and accessible.
