an update:

so, idk if anyone will see this or care, but here’s what’s happening re: me, my life, my online presence. 

1) I’m doing much better, mentally and emotionally, thank you so much for asking! taking a break from tumblr/leaving the fandom was one hundred million billion percent the right call. 

2) I know I said I would continue posting fic, something I obviously haven’t done. I’m not obligated to explain myself, but I will anyway. In the months since leaving, I actually started writing my own original fiction. Writing fanfic definitely helped me get back into writing original fiction, which I am very grateful for, but at this point, I think it’s pretty unlikely that I’ll ever post on ao3 again. I’m really sorry if you were reading and enjoying one of my wips, and I thank you for the kudos and the comments and messages, I really do, but I just don’t think getting back into the fanfic headspace is the right place for me to be rn. 

3) which brings me to: what to do with this blog? clearly, I haven’t abandoned it forever like I said I would, and lately I’ve been thinking about turning it into a casual writeblr/aesthetic kind of space, since I would really like writing friends (esp folks writing ya) /writing advice, that kind of thing. I’m not sure if I’m actually going to do that, but it’s def an idea I’m tossing around. So, you know, if you feel like you’d be interested in that kind of thing, stick around, and if not, no hard feelings. honestly really surprised more people haven’t unfollowed me? but like in a good way. it makes me feel loved.

Hey everyone I hate begging for money online but I am currently 3k in the hole from school. Normally I would owe nothing but they raised tuition 3 grand but didn’t raise student merit scholarships proportionally. (The excess amount which I would normally be able to cover with my wages would’ve been fine but they didn’t raise aid at all)

I am a queer, mentally ill brown girl trying so hard to make it. I am a first gen college kid, and really any amount will help. I am applying for more scholarships and my professors are doing the best they can to work with the school.
