I've been thinking something might happen tomorrow but now I see Hannah is in Paris so idk now

I think something might happen tomorrow too, but IDK for sure.

Because Luke Thompson's play takes every Sunday off (very normal for theaters to close either Sunday's or Monday's) but there's also no show tomorrow. And it's the only random/other day there's no show. Which I found kind of strange. Makes me wonder if as the lead of that play, he asked for no show that day b/c he has a prior/Bridgerton commitment that day that he can't miss.

IDK for sure if it's Bridgerton related but I did think that was weird/odd since that's the only non Sunday the play doesn't perform for the entire run at the RSC. And most plays even do shows on holidays and from what I can tell, tomorrow's not any kind of holiday in the UK.

And depending on when Hannah got to Paris, she can easily get back to London if there is something for Bridgerton tomorrow. It's not like Paris is very far and planes/trains are a thing.

But who knows anon. Lol.

There’s a Polin shipper telling fans not to be weird about Nicola and Luke because they’re private people who have real life relationships etc and it’s a nice sentiment except, it is Nicola who is encouraging fans to read into things and create theories and ship the two of them so as gross as it is to ship real people, like…how can you hold fans responsible for it when it’s what the actress is telling them to do?

Seeing the creepy behavior makes me so thankful it didn’t happen for s2, and I’m very worried for the s4 leads.

Yeah it's annoying for LN since he's definitely in a relationship (IDK about Nicola but I doubt she is if she's liking the shit she is) like....

Fans are gonna ship what they ship even if it's weird b/c those are real fucking people. But when one of the celebs does it, (and encourages it with her fans) then it's perfectly okay imo to call her out on her weird ass shit and think she's an obnoxious narcissist.

Like girl no, that's your fucking problem and your faves problem. Don't blame fans when your fave is the one actively encouraging it and being like: "LOL I wish I was dating this guy maybe it'll happen ya'll harass her enough on social media like his last gf and then they'll break up so I can have a chance!"

Because that's what it comes off as to me personally.

I think the writers of Bridgerton simple have no sense of what is or isn’t acceptable behavior by heroines in romance. I remember in s2 we were clearly meant to love Edwina and see her as completely guileless, but there were several moments (like her handing her gloves off to Kate, her declaring she wants the stuff/life Anthony could give her, her happily planning her wedding and telling Kate she’ll be the spinster aunt to her kids…) that in other writers hands would have been written for the “villain” (as much of one as a historical romance has). They didn’t mean that interpretation ofc, but I’ve seen it used that way elsewhere.

It’s the same thing with writing Pen jealous of the Bridgertons. We would normally see that to denote someone a “villain” but the writers aren’t thinking of it that way at all. It’s weird!

Like, I don't mind complex female characters at all. And Pen is certainly that.

But my issue when the writing has framed her as VERY MUCH an antagonist/villain for 2 seasons and now they're like: "Here, have a love story/HEA for her when she hasn't done anything to deserve/earn it!"

That's what bothers me about the show and Pen with the writing. Like she hasn't done ANYTHING to redeem herself to Eloise or the rest of the Bridgerton's. And now she's being rewarded one (aka Colin) even after being so damn nasty to that family that treated her kindly.

THAT'S what bothers me most about this.

The “pretty Bridgerton” line is exactly why I think Polin should’ve never happened in the show. If this show didn’t have books as a source material, I would have serious doubts that Polin was actually going to be endgame because in the show, it’s like Penelope is a “fan” of the Bridgertons but is secretly jealous of them too so she writes nasty stuff about them. Doesn’t seem like the type of person who should be rewarded a Bridgerton as a HEA, but then again Colin ain’t no prize himself so 🤷

Yeah even in the S3 trailer, there's another similar comment Pen/LW makes about how 'not everyone can be in the spotlight' or some similar petty comment I can't remember the exact wording' now.

But it's like, girl do you hate these people or want to be besties with them and fuck/marry one of them?

Like, the Bridgerton family have done absolutely nothing to Pen or her family to deserve how Pen has treated/written about them the way that she has in the show. They've welcomed her into their home to visit Eloise, treated her kindly, etc. Violet is always encouraging Eloise to spend time with Pen, etc.

And this is how she treats the Bridgerton's in return.

Exactly? It's funny too b/c Polin/Pen stans act like Eloise is befriending 'Pen's bully' well to be fair.... Cressida's kind of mean to everyone. (I guess not in S3 though b/c she's gonna try to be nice?)

That's her whole thing, and Cressida of all people being the one to reach out to Eloise and befriend her, in an act of kindness shows a desire to change. You don't see Pen trying to do that.

Penelope was the one who ruined Eloise's reputation, that makes Pen a bigger bully than Cressida was for spilling a drink down Penelope's dress.

so, I read the books way before the show was out, and since then my faves hae been Benedict and Frannie. So, now, every time there content of them I'm happy, that said, a plant would have more engagement than S3 leads. I'm not surprised how Benedict's video will be for sure the most popular. And it's all thanks to Shonda and Nicola for me. Shonda ruining a lot of the beautiful parts of the stories from the books and, well, they both ruin Penelope. I liked book Penelope but with her plot in the show and how Nicola sells her, it's a no for me.

Book Penelope would hate show Penelope imo.

And yeah Benedict's promo currently has more likes than both Colin's and Pen's.

It's currently the most liked SOLO promo of the bunch for S3. Kanthony's is a couple one and I think last time I looked, it had like 30k or something. Maybe a little more but I can't remember off the top of my head.

But Benedict's has the most likes out of the solo character promos.

And not to mention that we're calling them out for being weird shippers for real life people and calling out their loser fave for enabling their weirdo fantasies.

So they're throwing hissy fits about it.

I hope this season crashes and burns and gets shitty reviews about the leads.
