I have watched Soul Eater and Noragami and they are on the list of what I write on my main blog. I have heard of Blue Exorcist obviously but honestly, I haven’t really felt motivated to watch Anime lately. I’m currently watching Sailor Moon again because I watched it when I was about 9 years old and I am watching with a friend One Piece. I will keep up with the stuff that I have watched and that gets new seasons like Demon Slayer, Black Butler and My Hero but I don’t really feel motivated to start a new Anime.

Another question, not sure if you know what Queer platonic relationships are, but If you do, which yanderes in your own opinion would be okay with a darling who wants to be in a Queer platonic relationship with them?

I did some research on it so I hope that I understood it correctly. Those are the people I could think of at the top of my head.

Monkey D. Luffy

Frankly speaking, I doubt he knows what a romantic attraction is in the first place but Luffy is incredibly committed and protective of the people he holds close to his heart which is why I think a queerplatonic relationship for him would work. He doesn’t care about traditional norms nor would he care about the confusion some people might have because the relationship he would have with his darling is so intimate, especially since I do see him as physically clingy. As long as he can be together with them, he’s happy and his darling is happy too.

Near

As a Yandere I see him as someone starved for care and love but it doesn’t have to be a romantic love. Near will have a huge attachment to his darling as a Yandere but that doesn’t have to be in a romantic aspect as he mainly just craves for them to care for him and look a bit out for him because he is a genius yet wildly incompetent when it comes to daily life tasks and going outside which is why he needs his darling as his emotional support all of the time.

Reiner Braun

This poor guy is extremely traumatized and he really needs someone he can fully trust and confine in. What kind of relationship that ends up being is not as important as the aspect of knowing that he has someone he can always return to and who will stay with him even through the worst mental breakdowns whilst helping him on every step of the way. Especially if his darling is someone he has known since his childhood days would Reiner form a very close bond with them.

Ran Mao

Ran Mao is someone who has chosen to give her loyalty only to Lau and both of them express their attachment to each other in physical ways. That is why she would value physical closeness to her darling as she is already doing it all of the time with Lau. Since she has never really gotten attached to anyone besides Lau, the new feelings she has for her darling are a huge deal but they don’t have to be specifically romantic. She’s just happy that she has Lau and you in her life.

BLACK BUTLER CAME OUT TODAY!!!

By chance did you watch it? Some people were complaining about the new design but I personally think it fits the school aesthetic. Also, a couple of episodes in and Ciel is already getting rocks thrown at him😭? If you didn't see it my bad for spoiling but it's so funny to see.

I’m usually a person who waits until a certain amount of episodes is out before I binge watch it. I plan to watch it but I’ll wait a few weeks longer. I have seen the new design for the characters and the animation though but considering that the last movie for Black Butler was released 2015 and that CloverWorks is animating it this time instead of A-1 Pictures, a change of art style is expected. As long as they follow the manga and do well, I see no reason to complain though.

Who do you personally think would be the five- in no particular order- worst yanderes to have a relationship with in Hunter x Hunter?

Illumi Zoldyck

Let’s see. On the list we have brainwashing, an immediate abduction, a forced marriage, forever isolation and if his darling can reproduce we can also add forced impregnation(s) onto that long list of things Illumi would do to his darling. Also the death of every loved one as Illumi wants to be the only one his darling loves which obviously requires the elimination of everyone else they love.

Hisoka Morrow

Hisoka is so strange because neither is he fully committed nor is he willing to let his darling have anyone else in their life. He just does what he wants but he fully expects his darling to keep waiting for him and to never replace him. It is surely fun if they do it but in that case you just give him another person to murder. He is so toxic, sadistic and masochistic too that it is unbearable and he will pick his darling apart just for the fun of it whenever he feels like it and he will force himself sexually on you really fast (not that his libido isn't ever down when he is around you).

Chrollo Lucilfer

From the adult trio he is the "nicest" but this is such a stretch as it is because he is so apathetic with people around him unless they belong to his troupe or if the person is his darling. He's desentizied against violence and will manipulate people shamelessly if it gives him your heart to the point where he'll give you the feeling that only he is the one loyal to you. It is really his ability to get into someone's head that is very frightening and if push comes to shove he will use an ability to change your feelings for him or will be obsessed enough to search for one if he shouldn't have one.

Shalnark

Shalnark is in quite a few aspects like Chrollo but with a sweeter facade that he never really drops. Whilst Chrollo is at least conscious enough to see how his crimes would mortify a normal person but has long passed the point of feeling guilt, Shalnark is just a sadist with a sweet face and a delusional mind who genuinely believes that he is saving you from a big and scary world. Manipulation and gaslighting are a daily meal he will feed you and he does it all with the most sickening sweet grin on his face.

Shaiapouf

Shaiapouf is worse than his King simply because he is so volatile with his emotions and he basically goes through two phases of his obsession. The first one is spite and hatred for loving someone who isn't his King and who is from the low species that even killed Meruem. He abducts you, murders the entire village you live in or turns some of them who he thinks may survive into new Chimera Ants for protection, belittles you for everything and actively tries to change you into a new person he thinks will be worthy of him. Then comes the change within him where he just drowns in the madness he has been trying to reject and a new infatuation is born from that that isn't harsh as he used to be but nevertheless unbearable. From that day on he is loyal and loving but somehow even more unhinged than he was before.

This may sound weird but so far I don’t really have a favorite male character. Whilst I do like all of the Strawhats despite having my fair share of complaints with some of them, there is no one from the male cast who has so far even come close to Nico Robin for me. Crocodile, Shanks, Ace and Mihawk are cool and attractive but they had so little screen time so far (I’m at Thriller Bark by the way) that they won’t cut it for me. If I had to choose one though, I think I’d choose Franky but I just feel like there should be a male character there who should do it more for me. Franky is super likable, don’t misunderstand me. But I’m waiting for this special feeling in my heart that I have whenever Robin is on the screen to happen to a male character too.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was one of my favorite series when I was a kid but I don’t think I’ll write for it because I don’t really feel compelled to write anything romantic about anyone that doesn’t resemble largely a human, although I do admit that I had a crush on Leo and Raphael as a child.

In Hunter x Hunter, who do you think would be the five most tolerable yanderes to have a relationship with?

In no specific order and with the ones I could first think about since I don’t remember every character in the show:

Pakunoda

Despite being part of the Phantom Troupe, a relationship with her would be far healthier than from some who are technically not even criminals. She is not considerate to everybody but those she cherishes will have her going through great lengths to ensure their safety and happiness. Pakunoda is due to this a rather patient and calm partner who looks out for her lover.

Nobunaga

Nobunaga is a lot like Pakunoda only that he is more open around others who are neither members of the Phantom Troupe nor are they you which makes it very relaxing to hang out with him because he won’t potentially scare others away as he lacks the distant facade that Pakunoda presents far more often.

Kite

Despite appearing upon the first glance as a cold and blunt individual, Kite cares greatly for his darling and his normally calm nature adds to that. He is very rational and aware of his situation which urges him to act rather carefully around you so that his obsession doesn’t slip out. Similar to Pakunoda, he is not openly welcoming to everyone but he is very sweet and attentive around you.

Machi

Machi isn’t very welcoming around others even and she may even appear as quite rude at times. She is definitely rough around the edges but she also cares greatly for her darling and sees it through that she separates her life as a thief of the Phantom Troupe from the life she has with you. Despite what others may think, she isn’t unnecessarily harsh on someone. She is mostly scolding you or people in your circumstances when they have done something that wasn’t very well thought out.

Zushi

We’re going to assume that he is of age in this scenario. He is quite stubborn and delusional but at the same time he has principles and honors he has sworn to live by, especially after the training that Wing has given him. Zushi is very easy to manipulate and he is of sweet and protective nature so for the unknowing eye it is quite hard to decipher that he is actually obsessed with his darling.

Under what circumstances, if any, do you think Kurapika would use his Judgment Chain on his s/o to get him/her/them to stay with him? I feel like that one would be the most useful for him as a yandere; especially since it can be used people who are not members of the Phantom Troupe (unlike with Chain Jail) and, unlike Steal Chain's gimmick of the stolen Nen ability returning to the original user after either he or whoever he gives it to uses it once, can be kept in effect so long as he wills it..... Unless s/o manages to get a Nen exorcist, but the chances of that are very low.

He wouldn’t use that. I genuinely don’t think that he would use that on his darling because if they violate one of the conditions he has set, they would instantly die. He has lost the maximum amount of people a person can lose already and if his chains would be the ones killing his darling, he would mentally never recover.

He would contemplate it if his darling would be part of the Phantom Troupe, although he’ll probably use Chain Jail more in that case. The thing is, the Phantom Troupe members are insanely loyal to each other, we have seen that multiple times and Pakunoda even died despite Kurapika having used Judgement Chain on her. If Kurapika knows that, he’ll know that his darling would crush their own heart if it aids the other members.

Hey thanks for writing Diabolik Lovers with sister reader we'll now that she's young I see her as a little smart gremlin that like to stuck her self around yui and never let go and I picture sister reader as shortie too when she was young around 150 cm so shorter than yui herself

And can you imagines the shenanigans that she get herself into because she was young again?

I think it’s gonna be in some parts an interesting experience for the brothers because they always only got to know their sister when she was already older and acted sophisticated and mature. I imagine Laito for example absolutely using what he saw you doing whilst you were young again against you as soon as Reiji has cured you. Nobody is perfect after all. He isn’t and you weren’t either when you were young.

Hello, not sure if you are still answering questions but I gotta ask, does Yandere Sasuke stills travel around while leaving his darling behind to care for their kid like he does in the anime?

I have never watched Boruto but I have heard about that. Personally I don’t think he would do that because Sasuke as a Yandere would be quite controlling as well as possessive so that wouldn’t mash very well if he were to still travel around a lot. Whilst I can see him occasionally leaving for short travels from time to time because he is someone who needs some time for himself, he would be pretty dedicated to actually raise the child he has with his darling.

You are never ever allowed to insult Madara's hair like this. Like, genuinely. He has not grown his hair out all those years and has taken such good care of it only to be told by his darling that she would prefer it if he would cut it short. I feel like his hair is part of his pride so he will never cut it. How dare you even suggest such a thing?

Sasuke is usually used to have all the girls gush over him so having a darling that is telling him that she doesn't like his hair is going to be a first for him and it'll also offend him because he also has a bit of an ego. He's probably going to keep it short out of mild spite, although I do think he will eventually be mature enough to let your remark go. That doesn't mean that he will let his hair grow out though.

So you finished enies lobby eh? How’s ur one piece journey so far, and do you have any brief thoughts on the straw hats (so far)?

I’m giving you my honest review here because as much as I like the series so far, I also have my fair share of stuff I don’t enjoy.

I adore the world in One Piece. I’ve been a big fan of Pirates of the Caribbean as a child and I have always wished back then that I would see Jack Sparrow exploring all mysterious islands and finding all treasures. I got that with One Piece but even better. Each island feels unique and whilst there are definitely pacing problems at times even this early for me, I do love the aspects of exploring each individual island and learning about the rules, the environment and the life of the people calling it their home. I know that the Skypiea Arc isn’t that beloved amongst Anime fans but I really loved the arc due to the unique and interesting setting the island in the sky had. From its past to the inventions to the way people live in the sky, everything has so much personality and that has been the case with every major island so far. The sense of adventure and curiosity I always get whilst getting to know a new island is really addictive and I love the foreshadowing. The fact that the end of the Going Merry had already been hinted during the Skypiea Arc but was only revealed during the Water 7 Arc is insane and from what I have heard, Oda is great in foreshadowing and I’m looking forward to that.

What I find myself struggling with, and I don’t know if the Anime is partially exaggerating this sometimes, are the characters itself at times and the, in my opinion, lukewarm comedy that gets very repetitive and boring after a while.

Luffy:

I am actively struggling with the main character at times. Luffy is quite carefree, impulsive and does whatever he wants and it is not even that this is what I dislike about him. He has such heartfelt moments such as giving Nami his straw hat during the Arlong Park Arc despite the hat being a treasure for him or him defending the pirate flag of Chopper during the Drum Island Arc. It’s just that he sometimes is portrayed as so amazingly incompetent and stupid that I am agonizing over it. How can you get stuck twice within the same arc in between two walls and then spend episodes there whilst your friends are trying to save Robin?? Him being a glutton is expected, older Shounen protagonists just seem to have a habit of having a black hole instead of a stomach. I also still don’t understand how he learnt Gear 2 and 3 in such a short time considering that I cannot recall a time where he had time to properly train.

Roronoa Zoro:

I have very little to criticize about Zoro. Luckily his character gag of always getting lost isn’t something that is thrown into my face every episode so I can tolerate it. He’s a man of honor and I like seeing him on screen, but I’m still waiting for that one moment of him where I go from liking him to loving him. I also feel like he suffered in the Enies Lobby Arc from being paired with uninteresting opponents to fight against (Kaku and Jabra).

Nami:

I love and hate Nami at the same time. But the reason why I hate her isn’t even her own fault. As a character I love how she isn’t someone who is actively fighting and has admittedly not the most interesting fights but without her literally nothing would work. As a navigator she is irreplaceable and without her skills the Straw Hats would go nowhere. Her backstory was also heartbreaking but Oda seems quite skillful when it comes to writing a good and tragic backstory. The reason why I hate her though is because she has become more and more a victim of sexualization the further the story has progressed and I just know that it’ll get even worse. I have seen the pictures of her after the timeskip and it is so infuriating because she didn’t look like this at the beginning of the story. The freaking scene in the Arabasta Arc where she was sexualized from a camel and a crab was a different low for me because it’s the first time I have seen animals thirsting over a female character.

Usopp:

Usopp is a character I also find myself struggling with. On the one hand his creativity and his craftsmanship are to be admired. This is a man who invented Nami’s Clima-Tact and was the shipwright before Franky joined. On the other hand his character gags of being the big coward can get a little bit tiring after a while for me. I really loved the Water 7 Arc because it showed him in a much more serious light which was a nice change for once. And I am going to be quite honest here with you, I did not enjoy the whole Sogeking sequence. I understand that he was too ashamed to face his friends after he had left the crew but it got a tad bit annoying to me after a while. I was also not surprised that Luffy and Chopper were the only ones who didn’t recognize him in his disguise.

Vinsmoke Sanji:

I actually really enjoyed Sanji’s character when he was first introduced. I admired his ideology of not letting anyone starve due to his own experience of being stranded on an island without much food and the relationship he had going on with Zeff and the other chefs was heartwarming. However, his simp character has significantly increased since then to the point where it has gotten frustrating and annoying. I remember that scene in the Skypiea Arc where the Going Merry was kidnapped with a few crew members still onboard. And the first thing that left Sanji’s mouth then was that he was disappointed that Nami wasn’t in bikini anymore. I think that is the moment where I started not liking his character as much anymore and from what I have heard, it’ll become a lot more worse. It’s really disappointing in my opinion because he could be such a cool character but around women he is always reduced to a simp with heart eyes.

Tony Tony Chopper:

Chopper is adorable and I love his versatile forms he can use with his Rumble Ball. But I just wish that the show would actually give him more recognition because the 50 Berries he has on his head as of now and the fact that he was called a pet on those wanted posters is saddening. Because not only can he actually fight because he took down one of the CP9 members but he is the doctor of the ship and fulfills such an important role because of it. He is more than just a cute little animal and I hope that will be more recognized.

Nico Robin:

Robin is as of now my favorite character and I have literally nothing I can criticize about her. She is intelligent, her backstory is my favorite as of now and I love how her character also shows that it isn’t only pure strength alone that can be dangerous in the eyes of others but also intelligence. She was wanted for simply knowing how to read Poneglyphs. I’m also happy that she hasn’t been sexualized in the Anime so far and I pray to god that she won’t get the Nami treatment later on. I also love her dark and blunt sense of humor.

Franky:

Franky is incredibly likable. He is as of now the newest member of the Straw Hats so I have not as much to say about him but he is also a well built character with a nice introduction. The relationship he had going on with Iceberg and his past with Tom were well written and despite his rowdy experience he has a heart made out of gold. The fact that he took all outsiders in Water 7 under his wings and gave them a new home and purpose says really all you need to know about him and I’m looking forward to seeing more of him.

Not including Chrollo or Hisoka, which six Phantom Troupe members do you headcanon as most likely to be yandere (ranked from least likely to most likely)?

I’m not including Bonolenov or Kortopi in here and instead included Illumi.

I was debating between putting him or Pakunoda in last place but went with him because I think he is more social and friendly to people outside of the Phantom Troupe in comparison to Pakunoda and Machi who didn’t make the list. He’s last place though because despite being desensitized towards violence he would be a pretty conscious and cautious about falling in love with someone because he is aware of the implications and possible consequences that this might have on his darling.

5. Feitan

Feitan is above all an unapologetic sadist who is absolutely gruesome as the interrogator of the Phantom Troupe and he would be strictly in denial about his own feelings. I think it’s this phase of denial that would give him and you equally much trouble because you’re stuck with him whilst he is going to be livid about the fact that he can’t make up his mind about you. Once he has begrudgingly acknowledged his own feelings though, he’ll just do whatever he wants.

4. Uvogin

There are few things in life that are more thrilling for Uvogin than the joy and rush he feels whilst fighting people. He’s literally someone who isn’t thinking stuff much through and is just going with his instincts. Because fighting is one of the few joys he has been able to experience in life so far together with the bond he has with the other members, I do think that it would take someone that really catches his interest plus additional time for him to realize that he’s in love. As soon as that realization has hit though, there’s a new rush pumping through his veins and just like with most things, he isn’t going to think stuff through very much.

3. Shizuku

I don’t have much to say about her besides with what I have already said about her the last time. As forgetful as she is, her darling is going to be pretty much screwed once they actually manage to stay on her mind. That is such an achievement and since they are going to be one of the few people she can actually recall all of the time, she’s bound to think about them a lot which quickly goes down the wrong road. The biggest threat I see here is the fact that Shizuku might have a thing for even making up memories that aren’t even real yet she believes they are.

2. Shalnark

He is undoubtedly one of the most apathetic members but just like I’ve already mentioned before, if he is ever going to catch feelings for someone he will go quickly very obsessive. He is fully aware of the atrocities he’s committing all the time and he has never felt anything for others before so if there is ever going to be a person that manages to make him feel, he will grow very obsessive with the need to know everything so he can know why it is that specific person.

1. Illumi Zoldyck

Illumi is already pretty much a very obsessed individual, especially towards his younger brother Killua. Whatever he has going on with his darling though is going to be so much more intense because Illumi is going to act the moment he has realized the spark his darling ignites in his chest. Twisted fascination and the constant control will be very unpleasant as Illumi basically wants surveillance on his lover every single minute and feels entitled to own them and by extension to also know everything about them.
