Todos los días Musas infinitas! 🌟 • Cada vez que me enfrento a hacer una pintura es como si fuera la primera vez,😅pero pinto como si fuera la última.⚡️ • Asi se sintió haciendo esta pequeña pieza. Al comienzo no encontraba el “mood” eso que va más allá de la imagen que tenia al frente: el color que debia usar, la forma, el tono, la estructura…en fin debajo puedo decir que hay otras 10 caras distintas con distintos esquemas debajo entre trazos. Meses después la vuelvo a retomar y casi desisto 😣después de un par de intentos. Antenoche tuve una buena sesión buscando entre las formas y el color y como un Tetris todo ocupo su lugar ideal. Trabajando en formatos mas grandes y con paletas de colores que no había explorado. Esta pieza comenzó de la nada sin tener una composición definida partiendo de la bella foto de Helena que se veía genial en una tarde que el sol le doraba la piel. This is Andres, in Bogotà, Colombia, who says that life offered him two surprises as a ten-year-old. He recalls being outside with classmates when someone handed out drawing materials, and "a few hours later, in a very loud voice, a gentleman announced over the microphone that I had won the competition with a landscape scene I drew. When I heard my name being read out in front of all those people and I saw how my parents were smiling at me, I felt something that I can only describe as happiness." A few months later, his parents called him into the living room. The tone of their voices led him to believe something was about to happen. When he got there, he found a gleaming silver bicycle. Later, in college, he went on to study graphic design but was gradually drawn back to art. "Now I’m a painter, and I get around on what used to be my father’s bicycle," Andres says. "After my father became ill, he had to give up the bike, which for him had symbolized freedom." Andres dusted it off and gave it a fresh coat of paint. "I don’t know whether what happened to me when I was 10 was just a coincidence or whether it was one of those signs that sometimes appear during your lifetime, but now I paint and cycle every day, and these two things together give me the energy I need to create.
