I have. Amps symbol idea.
Phoenix! A powerful creature that rises through the ashes of a flaire and flourishes. (And…yk…the classic “up down up down up down of our lives)
And organge is amps color! And fire…yk…pain!
Idk I think it’s cool!
I also feel like yk…whbe I’m in a very bad flaire and I do my amps workout or get something off my chest and the flare disapates. It so feels like raising form ashes and flying! And being free! Skipping and jumping after months in a wheelchair.
That being said I know amps treatment is basically non existent for many, and I’m so lucky(literally, lucky) to live near a very good amps center. Maybe this symbol could be like call to action. Call to help make sure EVERY amps person can raise form ashes. No matter where they live or how much money they got. To be free from pain and misery.
What to y’all think?

I don't have arthritis but sometimes "I have a complex neurological disorder that causes malfunctions in my sensory processing, predominantly in the form of chronic pain, and this can cause me mobility issues, fatigue, temperature sensitivity, and skin discoloration, plus the easiest thing to do would be to call it fibromyalgia but the misconceptions from the 90s that this isn't a real diagnosis are still so prevalent that if I say that term I risk you not taking me seriously" is a lot more drawn out than "oghc my rheumatism"

CRPS/AMPS culture is absolutely feeling like you are on an island with how rare the condition is, the closest I can get to someone else who understands slightly is people with fibro and even then I've had some who just don't even want to begin to understand amps and it's just another nerve disorder to them

AMPS culture is having to explain to someone that the lightest touch hurts because I have Allodynia. AMPS culture is chronic fatigue making you unable to hang out with friends. AMPS culture is telling yourself you are faking it, or not sick enough.

some people think i learned braille for Cool Points but i actually learned it bc my medicine holder has the days printed in braille and i forget to take my medication a lot. i didnt feel like turning on a light one night just to see my medication so i learned braille out of spite. now everytime i go anywhere i have to read the braille signs and i have seen “woman” misspelled as “noman” SEVERAL times.
