I wanted to respond to the bi anon. The thing with being bi or pan or whatever is that they kinda end up like those 7 way venn diagrams. So many things overlap that it gets confusing where you might fit in, and it's just easier to say that you fit into one of the larger circles. But the thing with those larger circles is that people start thinking that you have to fit that circle completely or else you don't deserve to be in that circle. That could be because of a misunderstanding or people gatekeeping or whatever, but I just wanted that anon to know that it’s gonna be okay, no matter what.

The LGTBQ+ community is a place where people can love who they love and not be judged by it, but sometimes it turns into “You have to like women and men equally or you don’t deserve to be bi” and I know how frustrating it can get when you don’t “feel” bi. But the thing is, you shouldn’t have to “feel” bi and you shouldn't force yourself to like one group of people more than another just so you won’t get looked down upon as someone trying to get attention.

Sometimes you just have to take a step back and realize that, no matter what you decide to call yourself, your sexuality is your own and nobody should try to shame you for it. If you only like a certain type of woman, that’s great! If you’ve never had a crush on a woman before, that’s okay! If your ratio of liking guys to liking girls is off, that’s okay! There shouldn’t be a “you have to be this gay” bar in order to call yourself bi, and if anyone tries to tell you that, then you can try explaining to them, but keep in mind that no one other than yourself has control over this, and anyone who tries to control your sexuality is an asshole.

Hello! I'm rlly sorry if I'm dumping my problems here but I just need some advice and idk who to talk to or where to go so uhm this is a problem abt my sexuality I consider myself as Bi (mostly leaning on men) but Sometimes I feel like I'm not bi. I sometimes feel like that I'm just a straight person wanting to be fucking different and I'm questioning if I rlly do like Women. I had some experiences where I look at some women and simp (not in an obsessive way just some crush feelings for them) but at the same time I haven't had a crush on a girl and the only crush I had was a boy and it's just making me rlly confused since I feel feelings for women too but I'm leaning to much on one side and Its like "Do I even like girls or Am I just pretending" I'm rlly sorry again.

Humm with my limited knowledge on romance, I say just don’t sweat it? Like yeahh I get the feeling of faking it but I mean, sexuality’s fluid like that y’know? It’s okay to change labels if it doesn’t fit anymore, that’s the point of them. If you somewhere along the line decide that you’re straight, then good for you for exploring and figuring it out! But like don’t beat yourself up over it. You consider yourself bi and that’s valid! It’s not like you’re intentionally pretending to be something you’re not, you’re just exploring a part of yourself that hasn’t completely revealed itself to you. Give it time, and just figure it out as you^^ if you want, you could maybe talk to other bi people and ask about their experiences? I know a lot of people have the same worries as you do so it can be reassuring to know you’re not alone

Completely agree with the more girls thing. I have bias, but like, Why not let one of the main countries be a girl? We got a nyo episode and the girl’s designs were really cute! I wanna be able to see them( and girls in general) more

If you had the opportunity to rewrite and redesigne hetalia what would it about

never create hetalia in the first place because hetalia is a constant reminder of our forefathers’ sins

okay but seriously? I do understand why hima made a lot of the decisions he did- Europe is comparatively easier to personify and even do anything with “national stereotypes” because unlike many other places, a lot of Europe didn’t get their land cut up and forced ppl of wildly differing backgrounds into the same “nation”

Europe’s centuries of petty medieval to Late Middle Ages bullshit is easy and fun to joke abt because most people aren’t really gonna get offended by you roasting the Hapsburgs or the Lancasters, as opposed to many other countries with very recent and very touchy traumas (this is also why I suspect that hima poured so much more effort and energy into western Europe as opposed to the east)

With all of that said, if I were to rewrite and redesign hetalia.....

Explore more ancient history and the civilizations frm way back when, as well as just lesser known fields of history!!

MORE GIRLS (I personally would personify France and Russia as women, and maybe even America)

stop microscopically focusing on western europe, and get some Africa, Polynesia, SEAsia, Middle East, indigenous peoples groups, Latin America in here bro

Put more of an individual spotlight on Seychelles and not just her relationships with Western Europe or random countries she interacts with despite having many deep and complex relationships within Africa and the Indian Ocean

Switch Finland and Norway’s personalities

Give Turkey a full beard

Persia = Iran

Overhaul Italy’s personality (I hate the very simplistic ditzy pasta loving persona with a fiery passion lmao)

Overhaul Prussia’s personality at that too

Stop defining Cuba solely by his relationship to western nations and explore him as a characters and his other relationships (this is a bit of a pattern you see)

Completely overhaul Asia and how their relationships with each other
