Our first taste of GANGSTA. in audio is finally here with the release of volume six, whose pre-order-only limited edition version includes a special drama CD. The CD itself is housed in a fabric sleeve that’s taped to a cardboard bracer (the top/bottom flaps flip up). The illustration on the back of the bracer features Alex and Barry.

The primary cast list for the CD is:

Suwabe Junichi as Worick Arcangelo Tsuda Kenjirou as Nicolas Brown Noto Mamiko as Alex Benedetto Kiuchi Hidenobu as Barry Miyashita Eiji as Lloyd

The CD consists of two tracks: the 20-minute drama episode and a 5-minute split-segment cast commentary between Suwabe & Tsuda and Noto & Kiuchi.

The story takes place prior to the events of the series. Alex is still under Barry’s abusive control (hence the illustration on the bracer), and Nicolas and Worick are doing odd jobs — they’re looking for a lost cat named Lucy here — while inadvertently attracting trouble. The cast does a fantastic job of conveying the characters; Suwabe charmingly captures Worick’s charisma and blanketed exasperation, while Tsuda’s Nic is as saturnine as we all hoped. Noto brilliantly captures the pain, terror, and exhaustion Alex constantly feels at this stage, and I can’t wait to hear how she conveys Alex when she begins to stabilize.

And, to address the elephant, Nic’s signing is spoken aloud for the listener, which is the dialogue you hear when he’s signing. If you listen closely, you can hear his shirt sleeves rustling beneath the dialogue as he signs it to other characters. When Nic does speak, his physical voice is underdeveloped and stunted (Tsuda nailed that crap, man). And finally, when he’s just plain thinking to himself his voice has a distinct echo. Which you’ll get to hear now, because I’ve ripped the CD for you!

Lately I've been into Ishida Sui's Tokyo Ghoul. I even edited volume 1 cover to be my phone cell lock screen. Actually I love white haired Kaneki, but because most of them is Kaneki wear mask, so I decided to take this one. At least Kaneki looks so cool here XD

well I agree. I even think that maybe Haise and others got Kaneki's RC blood because eventhough they look like half ghoul, they are not as different as human, unlike Kaneki. Because they got it from half ghoul Kaneki, the effect of ghoul is small that they even can taste human food. Haise got highest RC blood, maybe because they're just compatible. Like everybody said, both of them have same height and weight. Their opinion to not kil ghoul unnecessarily also same.
