hehe Ford Prefect, I’m only on the second book but I really want more scenes with him, the dry humour between him and Arthur works so well but they’ve barely interacted so far, but I’m not too far through the book yet so who knows :D
I made him moustache receding hairline man because
As you can see I had something trouble trying to find a style fir him but eventually I settled on “yeah anyone I draw will be cartoony with noodle arms” In my head he sounds like David Tennant because he does, and this will end up being the strangest cast of characters to ever exist (buuut considering he’s in the most dumbfoundingly different shows, I wouldn’t be surprised, he was in a fireman sam production and I have no clue what was shape or form he appeared it but it had to do with aliens and this is now widely off topic)
its kinda hard to get a read on what the alien characters look like, there was one section without any description on a character at all, and I don’t know if thats better or worse for designs XD? It gives more creative freedom but can leave them being widely inaccurate and unrecognisable across different designs so who knows? The main characters have recognisable (enough) descriptions I’d say though
Also, bottom left hand corner, the dialogue reads:
“Looks like we’re headed in the right direction”
“One more joke and I will strangle you”
“You’d do well with the extra arm strength”
(This is followed by Ford saying “see!” And Beeble saying “Stop that!”)
This is a video I made... at least 5 years ago. I never posted it because it was unfinished, sitting in my computer... But now that I've found it again, I think it's worth posting, even in its unfinished state... Enjoy!
im autistic with a batman SpIn and i am in love with your blog
Aah thank you!! Batman (usually 1966 version or the villains) is like a reoccurring hyperfixation of mine so I will periodically randomly make a bunch of Batman art hahHa
hi! do you plan on selling the zaphod poster design as prints/posters? i'd love to buy one!
I don’t plan on it any time soon, (maybe after I finally start doing commissions I could move to selling stuff like prints or stickers as well bc that would be pretty epic) though I made it into a poster for my dorm by printing it on card-stock with a color printer so if you have the materials you could do that!
