I may, possibly, have gotten sidetracked by a plot bunny. Takes place in an AU that mashes canon and Make Peace With the Stars together

Cloud has been playing Cat-and-Mouse with Genesis for a while now. After all, they are supposed to be packmates, as appointed by the Goddess. But Cloud isn’t interested in his destined packmates anymore, not after Angeal’s betrayal of Zack, Zack’s death, and Sephiroth’s betrayal of everyone. Genesis is never going to win the game he insists on playing.

So when Cloud wakes up in the past, where everyone is still alive and they have a second chance, he knows exactly who to blame… and what to do. His pack doesn’t deserve a second chance, but he knows a lot of other people who do.

I've been thinking about your aus so much, and I can't help but think it would be fun if Tyr was a dimensional traveler as well. Maybe it started when he was trying to find the MSK trio's home world but I like to picture him exploring new and interesting worlds. He might help out here and there, but he wouldn't interfere too heavily with worlds because he's been told that it's better to let people do things for themselves, so unless they're in danger or distressed he just lets things happen as they happen. (This started because I read kitchen sink right after one handed god and started picturing Tyr just... hanging out, maybe playing with little Zack)

You’re not the only one! Traykor is planning a fic where Tyr goes around the different universes because someone wants to meet all the baby Clouds >:3c Tyr is such a sweet oblivious god.

Alright guys. So SOMEBODY was telling me that to them, a reasonable oneshot length was up to 25,000 words. And seemed to think this was a completely reasonable take (as a note, they are a writer! this is all lighthearted:]). So, to settle this statement:

#I think technically it would depend on if it was a whole self-contained story or not #I’m not sure I’d call Tanuki a ‘oneshot’ and it’s less thank 2k. because it’s a whole completed story #Shooting Star was posted in one go because I’m stubborn but that wasn’t a one-shot. that was just me being stubborn #IDK I guess to me one shots are more scenes or collections of scenes without a true ending #I can see how older fandom circles might use the word differently though #and usually anything that’s not a full story (for me) will be less thank 10k

One piece of advice I have is to have your house cleaning routine be on the same day every week and set yourself an expectation of doing the bare minimum plus one extra thing. That way the extra things get done occasionally as necessary without all piling up until you have to spend an entire day cleaning the baseboards and scrubbing the oven
