*a human hunter, armed with a bow, silently sneaks up on a bird in the forest and begins to draw an arrow*
*the bird turns around, revealing a fantastic pair of tits. A truly great pair of gazongas*
*this triggers a reflexive AWOOGA response in the hunter, causing his heart to visibly beat out of his chest before he begins stamping his foot and howling like a wolf*
*this startles the bird, causing it to flee, and giving it ample time to escape while the hunter is indisposed. The bird lives to see another day*

Somebody translated the infernal runes face tattoo that you can put on your character and the runes on the forhead literally just spell "forhead", the runes on the nose spell "nose" and the runes on the chin say "chin"

Me looking at the tags: Batman flashing!? Where?
(but also as someone with epilepsy thank you so much for including that - luckily mine isn't triggered by flashes but it annoys me so much that for most people epilepsy accessibility isn't even a thought, much less an afterthought)

Since some people wanted the towers to be blown up, and some people didn't want the towers to be blown up, they should've only blown up one tower. As a compromise. So, blowing up the first tower was a good thing, and blowing up the second tower was bad thing. Therefore, we can say that, overall, 9/11 was morally neutral action. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk on how to be an Enlightened Centrist.

found a brothel in Baldur's Gate 3 and hired a very kinky drow, then experienced the funniest video game sex scene I've ever seen

This work is problemomatic because I’m pretty sure the writers must’ve gotten their idea from an arcade machine with flashing lights called the “PROBLEM-O-MATIC” that spits out a random-ass plot every time you put in a quarter
"this work is problematic because of how it handles [subject]": reasonable premise for media criticism
"this work is problematic because it depicts [subject]": do not pass go do not collect $200 this is, as a general rule, a functionally reactionary and conservative argument

Weirdly, the same advice holds if you're wondering why it features a giant mechanical spider
Look at this point if something in a TV show feels off, my first, immediate response is, "who in the corporate office fucked them over?"
Wonky writing? Something feels rushed? Animation errors? First question should be, "Who was fucking over the production team? What were the censorship notes? Was this what the team actually wanted to do, or were they strong-armed?"
I think a lot of y'all are way too fast to blame the writers and animators for issues that wouldn't exist if the studio executives and the censors weren't fucking it up for everyone.
Pay the writers. Pay the actors. Pay the animators. And for god's sake, stop blaming them for industry-wide issues that the unions are actively trying to fight against.

I deeply resent the fact that our society has reached the point where COVID-conscious individuals are being blamed for their own isolation, as if everything would be fine if we just stopped being so mean and restrictive.
Why am I the unreasonable one for not wanting to die? Why am I expected to just give up, lie down, and accept death, all for the comfort of people who want to pretend that COVID ended in 2021?
