6.9/10 (very nice)

I don't know how to play football at all. I know none of the rules. I can't speak their language. I still found this film enjoyable though. Of course Taika Wa-titties had to shoehorn himself into the movie, as he does with everything he possibly can. Thomas the wrong'un is very quatre vingt with his character whereas all of the American Samoans are huit. French numbers can describe people so well.

The Godfather

I don't know how they made old white guys taking into a 2hr 50 minute movie AND made it good, but they did it. Loved the part when the Godfather said "I am the Godfather" and Godfathered many children. Not Al Pacino's best tug, but he was good, I guess. Major upgrade from Silent Night. I don't have much to say. It's very much a "movie" movie. Just. It's. I. It's. It's...

Eh, I don't know. I enjoyed it, whatever it was.

Regular Movie Reviews Day 1

Silent Night (2019) 5.5/10

Most of you will know me for me RDR posts, however I'm going to try something different.

Silent Night scared the FUCK out of me. It's oddly happy with a dark undertone. Other than this though, it annoyed me a bit. The whole film is just Green Party propaganda. If you're gonna make a movie about the end of the world, make it about that, not CLIMATE CHANGE. You may be thinking that this isn't propaganda, but two Upper/Middle class rich people make a remark about how they "blame the tories" and they "should've voted green". Of course. Of course they did. I don't care about politics, but I'm watching a CHRISTMAS FILM. NOT THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. The acting was alright. Half the actors were the (somewhat untalented) children of the director. One of them (Roman Griffin-Davis) actually had some talent and played the main character and his role was purely just to act all edgy and rant about how he feels bad for all the innocent people. His character annoyed me way too much. He was somewhat likeable and portrayed well, but just not enough. Overall, Silent Night just left a bad taste in my mouth.
