So I freelance full time, and I have this PT gig where I edit shopping posts for a deals page a few hours a week (I ... kind of love it? Easy work, good way to push against my millennial urge to make work all-consuming all the time, nice people).

Anyway about once a shift I have to edit the word "forever" to say "lifetime" and every time it feels like I've unearthed a little beautiful memento mori just for me

I thought about posting on Tumblr for the first time in nearly a decade, checked to see what my most recent activity was, and remembered how much shit I got online back in 2016 for writing this story about some Harry Potter fans, particularly queer and/or POC fans, not really digging Rowling’s whole thing.
