So Robyn progressively becomes more and more of a mother figure to a Yang as the season develops (there's a few similarities but they'll take a while to explain). Like they have cute little bonding sessions. Yang goes and rants about how awesome she is to Blake, who becomes irrationally jealous until she learns that Yang sees here as a maternal figure. Yang, becomes attached quickly because Robyn is supposedly the good guy here.
But what if Salem promised Robyn freedom and equality for the people of Mantle? What if Salem presented her services in a non-sketchy way? What if Robyn is genuinely, but unintentionally, doing the wrong thing for the right reasons?
Then there's this huge fight scene (reflecting the Bee's first fight with Robyn somehow?) And once again ends in a standoffish vibe. However, in terms of lighting, the shadowy side Robyn was on is larger now and she doesn't step out of them when talking.
This is the moment Robyn finds out the truth about Salem. Yang goes up to tell her the sitch, semblance activates, and Robyn recoils in shock. Disgusted at herself for doing the things she had been doing... all of which she associates with Yang for some reason/ Yang is too much involved in the memory. So Robyn leaves. To reflect, heal, self-criticise or whatever. The point is she leaves.
Yang is understandably heartbroken; questioning her self-worth once again. But this time is different. It doesn’t hurt as much. Blake’s there to hold her hand and be there for her in her time of need. Reflecting both Yang’s conversation with Weiss on the train and Blake’s promise.
I dunno, thought it could be an interesting fanfic/character analysis.
I’m still thinking about this.
Yang could defo lift Blake with one arm I’m sure.
(I mean yeah, she doesn’t have more anyway, but we understand what I meant)
Look that shit is bigger than her. At it makes Ruby and her whole table jump, when she place it on ground. It must weight a shitton.
