What gets me is all the ocs that ive seen come out of atsv are spidersonas, but all villians are also up for grabs as Ocs as they also exsist in the multiverse, why limit yourself to just spiderpeople! Introducing:
Octo!
Tumblr media
Octo is the 15 year old child variant of doc ock, belonging in a steampunk universe, raised by her scientist parents and worked for King pin alongside her parents, occasionally being tested on, designing and building the tentacles. One day she overheard her parents and kingpin talking about evil plans and using them, about what they planned to do octo and how to manipulate them, ther rebelled and became a hero.
Their experiments led to them falling through a portal that landed them in spider society, and although not a spiderman, they were let in as long as they are good because "a hero is a hero, and if you are good enough to get here, you are good enough to stay"
Their universe is mainly brown, silver, gold and a lil bit of greed no the first time they saw hobie they thought they werehaving an eye malfunction (robotic eyes)
Bestfriends with: hobie, pavitr, miles, peter B, spider cat, lyla, and spider noir
Absolutely loves splatoon, aerospray rg/flingza roller main.
Their octoling looks like this:

Fair but I could never love humans as much as my floofy kitties. ^>•▪︎•<^
I wonder what it would be like to be a vampire
I dont think people realise how terrifying it is to be a vampire, they were turned, taken from the life they new... they they get hungry and they must be so terrified because they have to hurt/kill someone or die, it doesn't matter how much they apologise, the blood will still drain their hands, they are hunted, they have to hide, they can't fall in love or have friends because they'll outlive them all... over and over, and they probably didn't choose to be turned.... its so isolating and cruel because they have to do it over and over....

again, fair, but it is still excruciating, also loving pets and loving people will always be diffrent from eachother
To clarify, I dont think it's shameful for others to be needy, but I feel shame in having needs (something im working on) so talking from my perspective I think I'd rather starve to death and isolate, I have this idea for my upcoming vampire oc to also be able to drink cows blood because why not.

True, but the difference with immortality and mortal relationships is that you have millions upon billions of years for that cycle to continue, and as you say, the vamp can't ignore that anymore so, unlike most, they'll have to thing about it every time they get the slightest bit attached
Second is also true, but that doesnt stop people who choose to be vegan feel less guilty, they need to survive, if I were a vamp, no matter the situation I'd still feel guilty as hell, even if they were willing, not to mention the self hatred that would come from everything combined.
On the plus side, no reflection!

Im not saying that love has to be eternal or is the only thing that makes life worth living (im an aroaceflux person so i am living proof) but losing it/being afraid/a person dying of it can be hurtful, it's not just the loosing friend but the self isolation in fear of hurting/loosing them.
Yes, being treated as an outcast is quite a few points because it's true
And while feeding isn't necessarily violent or fatal, it can still make them feel guilty, just like how (as I said in a different reblog) if someone pays for something you can afford, even if they can afford it (have enough blood not to die) or you didn't steal said money (have consent to feed) you still feel awful after
Also my vampire thingy can be used as a metaphor for diffrent types of isolation/trauma and other issues, for me it's my isolation issues and my people pleasingness (it's not a direct fit) so it was intentional to reflect some aspects of a society that rejects certain people ^-^
