And here you lay, breathing in the rain. Your hand on my thigh, where peace abides.
I know here is where we’re ought to live.

Spooky action at a distance...
In a strange way, I love you, and I hope you are okay. I really hope you get well soon; those are hard times to go through. I wish I could help you more, but if I did, I would wound myself. My staying away comes not from a lack of love, but more from practicing and cultivating self love. If I don’t love myself first, if I don’t take care of myself, I’ll never really be able to take care of another, fully.

Now is the time.
Clarity and connection to oneself.
Who am I? Real love
What do I want? Real love
What do I need? Real love
What do I value? Real love
What do I deserve? Real love

To all the boys I never loved (bc they didn’t let me):
I just wanted to go out for a walk, to run and get tired, to go back in and rest for a while, to get a cup of hot chocolate almond milk [scroll on social media], to have a deep conversation about color and light, to kiss you goodbye, to sleep, to dream, to wake up, to meet you & greet you, to watch Netflix, to laugh, then cry, eat some #VeganGlutenFreeNonGmo kinda snack, to say something inappropriate, laugh some more, [scroll again] show you some stupid meme, and sleep again.
To smooch you, to hold you, to tackle you,
to run away from you, to be chased and reached by you,
I just wanted to BE beside you BEING, in this era, at this time and space,
but you just wanted to “hang”.
And you know you’re cool, and you know I liked you,
but you didn’t care, and that’s ok.
So now that you valiantly texted me again,
I’m ready to go my way, down my own road and say:
“Gee, thanks! But no.”, [and just HANG UP the app]
goodbye and good riddance.
