A/N: Based on events that occurred after the 9/16 SmackDown.

After his match with Ricochet concludes, Sami is understandably livid due to Jey's interference. He storms backstage, overcome with rage, nearly bumping into Kevin as a result. Sami remains silent, as he stands before his longtime best friend, his breathing ragged.

Kevin maintains a safe distance, the fire in Sami's eyes setting his soul aflame. The fire that was once extinguished, reignited and burning bright. "I saw everything, I'm so proud of you." Kevin remarks as he cautiously advances toward him, reaching for an ice pack and gently applying it to Sami's fevered brow. "And a little turned on."

The tension from the altercation with Jey subsides and is replaced with a different kind of tension, as Sami meets Kevin's gaze. A gleam emerges in his grey eyes, heavy-lidded and full of lust as he ventures lower with the ice pack, the sensation sending shivers down Sami's spine. By now it's clear Kevin isn't the only one who's aroused, the bulge protruding from his pants. "Kev..." He murmurs breathlessly.

Kevin chews his bottom lip, the breathy way in which Sami murmured his name causing his member to twitch. "You've held it in for far too long, Sami." His voice deep and husky, setting the ice pack aside to cup his cheek, fingers dancing across his skin. "All that pent up anger, frustration, passion." His gaze drifts to Sami's lips, dragging the pad of his thumb across them. "Just begging to be released."

Sami's breath hitches as Kevin's thumb brushes against his lips, his heart pounding so hard he could feel it beating in his ears. His eyes meet Kevin's once more and the Earth stands still. Slowly, he leans in, his gaze fixed firmly on Kevin, unwavering, until their lips connect.

Kevin's heart skips a beat at the intense expression Sami is giving him, almost carnal in nature. The desire building in his soft hazel eyes reflecting his own, as he inches closer. The instant Sami's lips brush against his, he kisses back fervently, cupping his face in his hands.

It didn't take long for the kiss to become heated, as Sami slips his tongue past Kevin's partially open lips, massaging it hungrily against his own. His slender frame melding perfectly with Kevin's, as he backs the larger man against the wall. With one hand pressed firmly against the wall for leverage, he uses his other hand to explore Kevin's body, his skin hot to the touch as he reaches his hardened manhood, fondling him gently through the thin material of his shorts.

Kevin shudders at the feeling of Sami's skilled fingers massaging his cock, each firm tug bringing him that much closer to his release. "Sami..." He mumbles against his lips. "Je suis si proche."

Tears prick Kevin's eyes as he covers Sami's hand with his own, gazing deeply into the familiar hazel orbs, becoming lost in their soft honey glow. "Yes, it's just-I've really missed you." His voice wavers.

"I've missed you too, Kev." Sami replies, offering him a warm smile. "But I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere." He softly adds, leaning down to press a tender kiss to his forehead before reaching for his hand, lacing their fingers together. "Let's get you cleaned up."

The pair enter the locker room, hand in hand. Kevin's heart starts to race as Sami leads him to one of the more spacious showers located in the back of the building. Luckily, it's nearing midnight so the arena is deserted. Sami turns to face him, still holding his hand. "Look, Kev, I know it's been a while since we've-if you're not ready, I'll understa-"

"Shh..." Kevin soothes, placing his index finger against the redheads lips to silence him. "Take me, Sami." His voice dripping with desire.

Sami swallows nervously as he adheres to Kevin's request. Shaky hands gripping the hem of Kevin's shirt, slowly pulling it over his head. As he reaches for his own shirt, Kevin halts his actions. Sami looks at him confused, until Kevin takes the initiative and carefully removes the fabric. Their bare chests pressed taut against each other. His breathing becoming more shallow, as he slips his thumbs in the waistband of Kevin's Basketball shorts, peeling them off to reveal his semi-erect penis, causing his own member to twitch.

Kevin draws a sharp breath, goosebumps emerging on his skin as Sami's nimble fingers skim over his thighs, his shorts sliding down and around his ankles. His eyes remain locked on Sami's, the reality of the situation dawning on him as a cool breeze fills the room making him shudder. Sami takes notice of this and inches closer, cupping Kevin's cheek tenderly before capturing his lips in a soft kiss.

Kevin kisses back with fervor, hands becoming tangled in his flowing crimson locks. Gripping a few tufts and tugging on them roughly, eliciting a moan from Sami as he guides Kevin into the shower.

Breaking the kiss, Sami turns his back to Kevin, fumbling with the faucet and adjusting the temperature before turning it on. A gleam emerges in his eyes as he reaches for Kevin, pulling him beneath the showerhead before pressing his lips to his. The kiss slow and sensual, their tongues eagerly exploring each other's mouths. Their damp bodies melding together to become one. A few more seconds pass and Sami is forced to break the kiss once more, panting heavily. "Ready?" He asks breathlessly, his gaze drifting to the bench in the corner of the shower and back at Kevin, patiently awaiting his reply.

Kevin stares deeply into Sami's eyes like a lovestruck teenager. His soft curls wet and clinging to his face as Kevin reaches up to tuck a strand behind his ear, silently nodding his approval.

Once Sami is granted permission, he takes Kevin's hand and leads him to the bench. Their eyes connect in a heated gaze and Sami could feel the butterflies fluttering in his stomach as he pulls Kevin close. The redheads lips crashing into his in a fiery kiss, before carefully lowering Kevin to the bench below. He positions himself at Kevin's hole and slowly eases his way inside, stretching him open.

Kevin tilts his head back, a mixture of pleasure and pain coursing through his body as Sami begins to enter him. "Move, Sami." He instructs, the desperation in his voice palpable as he bucks his hips, causing Sami to penetrate him deeper. "Make love to me."

Sami moans softly as Kevin forces his cock deeper inside him. Complying with Kevin's plea, he starts to move, pulling out and pushing back in at a steady pace. "You feel so good, Kev."

Once Kevin adjusts to Sami's size, he follows suit, their bodies moving perfectly in sync. Their hearts intertwined and beating in unison, as Kevin reaches up to caress Sami's cheek. "Sami," he whispers breathlessly, holding his gaze. "I'm in love with you."

The emotions stir within Sami as his thrusts become harder, gripping Kevin's hips roughly as he feels his impending release approaching. "I'm so in love with you, Kev." His eyes fluttering shut as he reaches his climax, pulling out and spurting his seed onto Kevin's stomach.

The two men cling to each other, bodies trembling. Once he's able to catch his breath, Sami helps Kevin to his feet, his legs nearly giving out as he clutches to Sami for support. When Kevin is able to regain his composure, he turns to Sami and insists he'll be fine, leaving him alone in the shower to clean Sami's...specimen off his midriff.

Sami proceeds to dry himself off and get dressed, when he notices he received a text. Upon closer inspection, there were several and they were all from The Usos. One inquired where he was, the other was an apology for the way Jey behaved earlier, but the one that made his blood run cold was the final text. It was a threat that there would be serious repercussions if he was fraternizing with the enemy.

Sami stashes his phone in his pocket as soon as he feels a pair of strong arms engulf him from behind. "Hey." Kevin greets him, nuzzling his face in the nape of his neck. "Stay with me." He murmurs, his breath hot against his ear. "I'll make it worth your while."

A shiver runs down Sami's spine at the sensation, spinning around in Kevin's arms to face him. "Just for tonight." He softly replies, using his body heat as a means of warmth before draping a towel over Kevin's shoulders. There's a glint of sadness in his eyes, as Sami cups his chin, tilting it to meet his gaze. "This isn't over, Kev." He reassures him, sliding his hand up to cup his cheek. "We'll see each other again."

Kevin forces a smile and nods. His eyes searching Sami's face, remembering fondly every freckle, every wrinkle, every detail as if this were the last time he'd ever see him. Because as much as he wanted to believe it wasn't over, things were different now and so was Sami.

Sami awakes abruptly to find his vision has been concealed. "Hello?" He calls out, but there is no reply. The room falls eerily silent, the only sound that can be heard is the rhythmic thumping of his heart as he struggles to break free. Panic setting in upon realizing he's restrained.

Meanwhile, Kevin keeps a watchful eye on Sami, lurking in the shadows. He can feel the fear intensify, as he leans down, dragging his lips over the nape of Sami's neck, making the hair stand up. "Shh...c'est juste moi." Kevin soothes, leaving a trail of feathery kisses in his wake until he reaches Sami's ear, taking the lobe in his mouth and nibbling gently. "I'll untie you, but you have to promise not to peek. Promise?" He asks, nuzzling his nose against Sami's cheek.

The instant Kevin's lips come in contact with his neck, the fear subsides and is replaced with desire. The familiar warmth only Kevin's touch can provide sending chills down his spine. The feeling of Kevin's teeth grazing his earlobe nearly sending him over the edge. His mind clouded by lust, the typically verbose redhead finds himself at a loss for words, settling on nodding his head in agreement.

A self-satisfied smirk graces Kevin's lips, knowing he alone has the ability to render Sami speechless. "I'm going to make you forget all about The Bloodline." He whispers softly, licking the shell of his ear.

A guttural moan erupts from Sami's throat, tilting his head back in ecstasy. His breathing becoming more strained as Kevin continues his assault. Despite his lack of eyesight, he relies on his sense of touch to navigate down the length of Kevin's body. His slender fingers brushing across the impressive bulge forming, fondling him through the thin material of his Basketball shorts.

Kevin draws a sharp breath, nearly forgetting how good Sami is with his hands. Every stroke bringing him that much closer to his release. He grips Sami's wrist roughly, halting his actions. "As amazing as that feels, tonight isn't about me." He counters, his breath hot against his ear. "It's about you, Sami." He adds softly, cupping his cheek and turning his face to meet his. "It's always been you." His voice wavers.

Sami's heart skips a beat as Kevin draws him near, his warm breath ghosting against his lips. "Why did you bring me here, Kev?" He asks breathlessly, aware of his intentions, but needing to hear him say it.

Kevin's eyes brim with tears, caressing Sami's milky white skin with his fingertips. His gaze drifting to Sami's lips, as he leans in close. "To help you remember." He replies in a hushed whisper.

Sami could sense the emotion stirring in Kevin, as he reaches up to wipe away his tears. "Remember wha-" He's about to inquire further, when he feels a pair of soft lips press tenderly against his own.

A whimper emerges from Kevin's throat the instant their lips connect. He'd nearly forgotten how good Sami tastes as he proceeds to gently nip Sami's bottom lip, prompting the redhead to part his lips and grant him further access. Their tongues wrestling for dominance.

As soon as their lips touch, it's as if a switch flipped on in Sami's brain. All of the memories he shared with Kevin, both good and bad, like a movie scene playing out in his head. He releases a contented sigh and kisses back with fervor, arms holding him close.

Kevin slides his fingers through Sami's wavy crimson locks, giving a few tufts a light tug, resulting in the redhead moaning into his mouth. He carefully removes the blindfold and sets it aside for future use. After several more seconds, Kevin's forced to break the kiss, panting heavily. His chest rising and falling with Sami's, perfectly in sync.

Sami rests his forehead against Kevin's, listening contently to his heartbeat. The gentle thumping putting his mind at ease, as he meets Kevin's gaze. Their eyes lock and this time Sami takes the initiative, leaning in close. "Kev..." his name escaping Sami's lips as a whisper. "Will you marry me?"

The proposal catches Kevin off guard, his heart starting to race. Their lips inches apart, as they continue maintaining eye contact. "What about The Bloodline?" He asks, becoming lost in Sami's hazel orbs.

"I think they'll manage without the Honorary Uce." Sami replies, a smile tugging at his lips as he cups Kevin's cheek. "You're where I belong." He murmurs, sealing their engagement with a tender kiss.

A/N: So...this is an unfinished fic that has been sitting in my drafts collecting dust. I meant to go back and finish it, but it seems irrelevant, seeing as how Kevin is now a heel. Anyway, enjoy!

"But you've never truly cared about me, have you Kevin?" Sami asks, his voice dripping with contempt. "It's always been about you, hasn't it? I was just the bumbling sidekick, an afterthought." His eyes brimming with tears as he prattles on. "We've had our ups and downs, but this is a whole new low...even for you."

Kevin cocks an eyebrow, the confusion evident on his features. "Sami, what are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb, I saw you." Sami counters, gesturing toward the television replaying the same camera footage on loop of a hooded figure speaking with one of the producers. "How could you?"

Kevin leans in to take a closer look. At one point in the video the hood lifts up to reveal a bushy beard. He turns his attention to Sami who appears distraught, the tears he managed to suppress now flowing freely down his cheeks. "I don't know who that is, but it isn't me." The French Canadian replies, a little hurt that he'd accuse him of sabotaging his championship reign. "I'd never do that to you, Sami."

"I've heard that one before." Sami scoffs, refusing to believe he didn't have some kind of involvement. "Your track record for stabbing me in the back speaks for itself."

That one stung, but Kevin remains stoic. "I just did what I thought was best for my career." He explains, examining Sami's disheveled appearance. Even in the moonlight he could see the dark bags under his eyes. He appeared drained and lifeless, nothing like the old Sami he met nearly twenty years ago.

"And that included breaking your best friend's heart?" Sami asks, his voice wavering as he spoke. "Do you have any idea how much that meant to me? How special it was to share that moment, my moment with you? But no, you had to ruin it by letting your ego get in the way."

Kevin understood the hostility. After all, he wronged Sami more times than he could count. "Look, you have every right to be upset." His voice surprisingly soft, as he inches his way closer. "I did some pretty rotten things, but that's not who I am anymore."

"Oh please, you haven't changed." Sami chuckles in amusement. "You might have everyone fooled with this goody two-shoes act, but they don't know you like I do." His bottom lip quivering, as a wave of memories crash through his mind. "I can see right through you."

Kevin smirks in response, Sami's statement ringing true, he did know him better than anyone. "So you think you've got me all figured out?" He softly asks, advancing even closer. "I know you too, Sami and this..." he gestures in the redhead's general direction. "Isn't you."

"And your solution is to beat some sense into me?" Sami asks, defiance in his tone. "Did it ever occur to you that you're the one to blame? That you're solely responsible for my downfall?" Noticing the close proximity, he shoves Kevin back. When he refuses to budge, Sami continues his assault, pushing him with force. "Why didn't you just stay away?" He cries out, fresh tears streaming down his face.

Sami's efforts prove futile and Kevin's patience is wearing thin. Before long, Kevin is forced to take drastic measures by gripping Sami's wrists roughly and pinning them above his head to restrain him. "Sami, calm down." Kevin soothes, his broad chest brushing against Sami's as his breathing becomes more labored. "I couldn't stay away from you if I tried." He spoke in a hushed whisper, the walls he placed around his heart starting to crumble.

Sami gasps as Kevin takes control, establishing his dominance and rendering him speechless. Like a moth to a flame, his gaze remains fixed on Kevin. His body trembling with anticipation. "Why?" He asks, breathless. Unable to conceal the desperation in his voice.

Kevin couldn't help but relish the fact that he's the only one capable of shutting Sami up. Granted, it wasn't an easy task and he knew the silence would be short lived, that's why it was urgent to make his feelings known before Sami decides to go on yet another tirade. Unfortunately for Kevin, displaying any kind of emotion (besides aggression) wasn't his strong suit. But as he gazes back into Sami's eyes, his fear washes away and is replaced with determination. "Because..." He starts, heart pounding inside his chest. "I love you."

It takes a moment for the confession to sink in. For the first time in his life, Sami was at a loss for words. He couldn't breathe, couldn't think. He opens his mouth to speak, but is unable to process words. "Don't." He manages to muster, shaking his head adamantly. "Kev, please..." He pleads, attempting to wiggle free from his grasp.

Kevin's grip tightens as Sami squirms beneath his massive frame. "I'm not letting you go, Sami." He murmurs softly, pressing his forehead gently against Sami's, a gesture that was sure to calm his nerves. "I made that mistake once, I won't do it again."

Despite his skepticism, Sami's heart skips a beat. He wanted to give Kevin the benefit of the doubt, maybe he can change. The doubt gradually fades as soon as Kevin's forehead connects with his own. A feeling of serenity washes over him, for the first time in months he felt completely at ease, he felt...at home. Kevin's touch ignited a fire within him, a fire that had been all but extinguished.

"When I look at you, I still see that scrawny little annoying twerp who grew on me like a disease without any cure and when you started behaving erratically..." Kevin trailed off, tears pricking at his eyes. "I thought I lost you."

Kevin's words touched Sami deeply, albeit he wasn't the best at expressing his feelings but it still managed to bring tears to his own eyes, as he reaches out to cup his cheek. "You didn't lose me, Kev." Sami replies softly, caressing his skin with his fingers. "You saved me. Your kiss saved me." He corrected himself, gaze drifting to his lips.

"I'm willing to kiss you the rest of my life, if it means you'll stay here with me." Kevin's bottom lip quivered, as he leans in close.

Sami's heart was beating so fast it felt like it was going to explode. "Is-Is that a proposal?" He managed to stammer out the question.

"It's a promise." Kevin whispers, pressing his lips tenderly against Sami's. It didn't take long for the kiss to become more heated, as Kevin's hands tangle in Sami's freshly cut hair. "There's nothing to grab onto" he mumbled against his lips, as Sami guides him backwards in the direction of the jacuzzi.
