Ø So in this campaign we were 30 members in our team and I was appointed as a leader of this team and as a leader I need to take care of each and every thing every time at the end of the day I used to conduct a short meeting and ask each member about the task they performed and also discuss problems that are taking place and also decide what we have to do in the next class along with this I used to make list of members taking what stuff.

Week 4
When was a time when you were on a high performing team (if you have not been part of a high performing team select your best team experience:
·        There was a time in my college time where our faculty has arranged a business competition which is known as ‘BBA Bazigar’ in which there are different teams and each team has to sell some unique product of their choice and earn profit in a week and after the team with highest profit will be the winner. In this I was a part of one team and in that we were high performing team.
1.     What was happening that made it a high performing team?
Ø So as discussed above one team will be selling something for a week so our team has decided to sell tasty food items like vadapav, dabeli, and sandwich which are some of famous dishes in Gujarat. As in India specially Gujarat is famous for food, so our team sell was more compare to other and due that profit was more than other in 2 days only. So according to all this our team was high performing team.
2.     What was your contribution to the team development?
Ø Each member in the team must contribute their efforts and knowledge. So, I was handling the finance for our business. So, I need to take care of money, handle book of account, calculate the profit at the end of the day.
3.     As you look back on this team now, what might you change about the team and about your role in the team? Why?
Ø As I look back on this team now, I would like to make some changes in the team like along with food item we should also add some mocktails due to which sales may get increase and with that automatically profit will increase. And about my role I would like to manage team and manage other stuff like time management and other things because basically I am more management student than finance student so I would like to change my finance role.
4.     Think of how you currently respond to conflict in a team. In what ways does this help develop the team and develop yourself. If you feel another approach to handling conflict might be more effective what might that be?
Ø If conflict occur in the I will respond in a different manner I will not just point out one person or mistake I will try to solve the conflict in proper manner by understanding the reason of conflict.
Ø So more effective way to handle conflict according to me will be:
1.     Firstly, discuss with the team reason for conflict.
2.     Secondly analyze and understand situation.
3.     After all this finally at last come to an agreement.

Week 3
With your understanding of followership, your personal values and your current understanding of your personal talents/strengths, please write your followership commitment.  This should be a four to five sentence paragraph that describes in what ways you will commit to be an effective follower in the future.
Ø Followership is characterized as the ability to coordinate in running after the achievement of characterized objectives while exhibiting a serious extent of intelligent collaboration. Compelling supporters are dynamic members (accomplices) in making the administration cycle.
Ø My followership commitment is committed to achieve goals, commit to accomplish mission, commit to be honest, commitment to develop good relationship.
Ø The ways I will commit to be an effective follower in the future:
v With my comprehension of followership, a couple of ways I can focus on turning into a viable supporter later, is by having more fortitude and responsibility. I have the fearlessness to a degree; I'm free and battle for what I have faith in however it's the danger of who I should face and what I could lose. For instance, being the new individual at your fantasy work, and seeing that specific things aren't being done well. In this situation, I would be stressed over the chance of not having the option to figure out how to fix it without heading off to the chief or the individual in control.

WEEK 2
1.Reflect on your top five leadership strengths. These are your personal power tools to differentiate yourself and establishes your leadership style.
Ø My top 5 leadership strengths are:
1.     Confidence: To be a leader one should be confident in each and everything. If the leader is confident enough in taking any decision, then teammates will trust and follow them. With confidence leader can also gain respect from subordinates and teammates.
2.     Commitment: As a leader one must give certain kind of commitment to the subordinates or teammates and, they must fulfil their commitment.
3.     Good communicator: Leaders should be good communicator so that they can convey their message easily to their subordinate and teammates. If  leaders easily communicate their strategy to their teammates, then it will be benefited to achieve goals.
4.     Good listener: Along with good communicator leader should also be good listener because leader should not always give command or orders but also must listen sometimes.
5.     Conflict resolution skill: As a leader, they must solve certain conflict that also in a fair manner and in aggregable manner.
2.For each one visualizes a situation where you might use this in a leadership role. Make it real-i.e. something from school, work or home that you could make happen.  Reflect and write what this might be for each of the five.
Ø Visualize situation where this leadership role is used are as follow:
1.     Confidence: So when I was working in one of the helping hands campaign which works to help slum area student in their studies, so in that campaign there was a team of 14 people and I was appointed as a leader in this situation I have to take certain decision related to children studies and all for that I have to be confident.
2.     Commitment: Once in a school I was student leader and there are some problems that student are facing like they are not getting proper lecture notes and I gave commitment that in a week I will solve this problem and I solve the problem in a week. so, through this  I would like to say leader should always try their best to fulfil their commitment.
 3.     Good communicator: As I was working in social work campaign and I was the team leader of my team and as a leader I have to communicate with the heads and other team leader to discuss strategy, progress and many more this and I have to convey the important thing discussed in the meeting to my team member in perfect and proper manner.
 4.     Good listener: I was the leader of my school cultural group and our school gave our team a project that we have to prepare role play on different types of culture so as leader I don’t order anyone but I ask everyone to put their points in a group and we discussed everything together.
 5.     Conflict resolution skill: Recently I am working at Walmart and I am customer service manager and there are so many cashiers working under me. One day there was a huge conflict occurred between two cashiers so as manager(leader) I took them in the office and talked to them and listen to both and solve their problem in fair manner.
3.Pick one of the five and go make it happen over the next week. Write about the situation, what you did, what happened and what you learned.
Ø From all the five I would like to pick CONFIDENCE.
Ø So when I was working in one of the helping hands campaign which works to help slum area student in their studies, so in that campaign there was a team of 14 people and I was appointed as a leader in this situation I have to take certain decision related to children studies and all for that I have to be confident.
Ø I learned many things from this situation, the main thing learned from this was as leader one should always be confident because when leader is not confident that will affect the team member also and it will all affect or create a problem in achieving any goal and success.

1. Think of a time when you were in a leadership situation.
1.What was the experience like for you?
·        In the past in my home country I was a part of social work campaign and after I completed 1 year I was appointed as a leader of my team. And it was really a great experience to be a leader. I tried my best to be a good leader. I have  to  perform different jobs like to make proper schedule, to make list of things that are needed and to plan how to distribute the resource to the team member.
2.     What did you learn from it?
·        I get to learn so many things from that the main thing I got to learn was how to manage things. As I am a people person I love to interact with different people,  and these help me to maintain relationship.
 2.   Describe your leadership strengths and skills as you currently know them.  Where possible, align these with specific examples
·        Leadership strengths and skills, I know currently are as follows:
1.     People management: Leader must have this skill because according to me leaders’ main goal is to encourage and motivate their teammates to achieve their goal. They should also properly manage the recruitment process.
  2.     Communication skills: this one is also important skill that leader should have because leader must always communicate with both team members and with others and, he must solve different problems by communication patiently with all members.
3.What are the leadership strengths, skills or characteristics that you would like to develop? Why?
Ø Leadership strengths I would like to develop are:
1.     Listening strength: Because as a leader that doesn’t mean you don’t have to listen to anybody. As a leader you must listen to your team member in each situation. So, leader must develop their listening strength.
 2.     Relationship building: So, one should also develop this strength because as leader you must maintain and build new relations because everyone is not same, and everyone don’t have same mentality so as a leader you must maintain relationship.
Ø Leadership skills I would like to develop are:
1.     Motivation: As a leader one must motivate the team leader in all situation so leader must develop motivation skill so that they can motivate their team member to achieve goals.
