I can’t predict the future, but I’d like to believe the reason they’re rebroadcasting Hetalia in both NicoNico and Youtube is because they’re amping us up for an 8th season…

It’s probably still a long way (if it will ever happen at all) but I really want to see HWS Gangsta animated…

There won’t be any official manga update on the Jump+ website until May, but Himaruya will be posting little tidbits about other districts on his Twitter/X page here!

He also said the next chapter will be quite long, so that’s something to be excited about!

I heard that you are Japanese! What is the etiquette like in the Hetalia Japanese fandom?

There are unspoken rules in the JP Hetalia fandom that the fans adhere to, but the top 3 would be:

1.) Do not interpret current real world events to Hetalia fanwork. Most fans give it at least 5 years. Memes/online events are okay, but never, ever real world events.

2.) Never repost screenshots of official content anywhere, especially the manga and artbooks. Unless it’s for translation purposes, it’s extremely frowned upon. This trait of the western fandom unsettles the JP side quite a bit…

Merchandise is okay, but only after some time has passed. (Even then it’s still a little dicey, so please be careful.)

3.) Always tag/indicate if your fanwork contains a ship. (Romantic context.) This is the most basic of etiquette the JP Hetalia fandom practices, so there’s usually almost no trouble. Again, this is something that the overseas fans tend to overlook, which causes a lot of concern and contempt.

It’s a lot more polite…on the surface. Deep down we all have very specific preferences we’re stubborn about, so we like to bury our feelings deep down and never bring them up, we just seethe quietly in our negative feelings. (LOL) Unfortunately this makes anon hate more prevalent, I’ve heard.

In general, the JP fans of Hetalia are very fascinated and interested in the overseas fans! We get excited when people know about it, even more so when we learn about their cultures. But some of us also heard about the things went on in the past, so we tend to be cautious when approaching a fan from foreign countries.

im gonna watch the sub instead of the dub sometime soon but im just curious.. what does england say in the original dub in that scene where he says "wanker" to japan? i always thought like whys he calling him that lol

Sorry this reply is so late…! When I found the episode, instead of ‘wanker’, in Japanese he says ‘nyoki…’ which is basically just Japanese onomatopoeia for ‘intense staring’.

I guess he didn’t want Japan to spoil Sealand so much, hahaha!

Hello! A lot of you must be wondering why I haven’t uploaded the translations for the recent Hetalia Gangsta chapter, and I’d just like to let everyone know that I recently got into an internship program and will be very busy the next few weeks! Unfortunately I’ll be too preoccupied to work on the next couple of updates. I apologize for any inconvenience caused! 🙇‍♂️
