How do I write smut when I'm too much of a fucking weenie to write smut.

There’s a few things you gotta keep in mind when you write smut:

1. Whatever you are going to write is going to sound stupid. It’s supposed to. People say just the most abjectly ridiculous things in the middle of sex. If you’ve done your job right and your reader is getting their delights they won’t care at all. Lean into it.

2. You are going to have to deal with the fact that you are going to have to expose your readers to the stuff that YOU think is hot. It’s inevitable.

3. Someone somewhere is waiting for the exact brand of nasty you have in the back pocket. There was someone out there who desperately wanted a money shot and I provided it. Think like that. Provide for the pervs.

4. Sex is more than just the physical. Talk about the way the hands feel and how warm the skin is but also talk about the heady rush of hormones and the emotions your characters are feeling. A lot more is going on than just insertion here. How do your characters feel.

5. Fuck it. Smut is for everyone. Go ham.

hey!! this is a new era for this blog!

in case you didn’t know, this used to be a writing blog (that never posted any writing LMAO, it’s been dead for a year) and I’ve revamped it into an mcr theme and changed my username!! my main is @doc-martens-enthusiast

im gonna start posting mcr x reader type of content (cringe as fuck i know 💀), hopefully mostly full length one shots but probably just thirst posts and concept stuff at first. @xocasper and @partypoisonzz are my biggest inspirations!! im still deciding whether i should just start writing for kinktober and not post anything until then and then post like 31 fics, or if i should just start posting gradually now and do a once a week kinktober thing.

am working on a story ATM, its not fanfic its an original work but idk if anyone would care to read that LOL,,,, its kind of a psychological situation with a bit of a murder mystery i guess in the beginning and a massive plot twist towards the end. would anyone read it? also its slightly inspired by "all the angels" by my chemical romance if that helps? the main character has gone mad with grief over the death of her lover, very three cheers energy. give me your thoughts!
