It was the apple brothers' birthday (a few days ago) so I went to make a drawing, and take advantage of the fact that I wanted to draw them for a long time, and what better way to do it than on their birthday haha

Yeah, I'm still doing the challenge of October to mid-November hahaha xd but I told myself I would complete it, so I'll continue it until next year

I'm writing the story behind this, because I saw a YouTube video and it inspired me a lot, so I drew a scene from it again.

I also took the opportunity to practice a different way of shading, and I think it turned out well, I have to continue improving.

Don't let it be noticed that these two are becoming my second comfort characters :3

"The illusion of life and love"

"Xayah only remembered her own name when she crossed into the afterlife and became a spirit. Other spirits who saw her felt sorry for her, perhaps because that veiled dress, which was once white, is a hint of her past. It's a shame she doesn't remember anything about her previous life. Every year, on these dates, she can return to the world of the living, and although she cannot remember, she knows with certainty that someone keeps her memory alive, sometimes she can even feel the warmth of a very strong feeling that she recognizes as 'love'."

To explain my dramatic idea of Xayah Ilussion, her story is that she died young, at 23 years old, right on her wedding day, and that's why she keeps the dress she was going to get married in, but the detail here is that she He doesn't remember anything at all from his previous life. However, she knows that there is someone who does remember her and apparently with a lot of affection and love. And yes, it's Rakan She wandered without much direction when the day of the dead arrived, it was not until much later that she found her tomb and her small altar, BUT, somewhat neglected. Because? Imagine it ;3

"Xayah rises in the middle of the fight, her body wounded, but her spirit indomitable. His feathers glow fiercely as he summons them into his hands. On his chest, his red heart-shaped soul glows with unwavering determination. Meanwhile, the little flower laughs and sneaks up to attack, but Xayah isn't going down this time. The golden flowers on the ground remind her of her reason for continuing, symbolizing the power of determination that guides Xayah in her fight."

"Ink held the broken vial with an imperturbable gesture. The rainbow liquid spilled from between his fingers and mouth, releasing forgotten emotions. The colorful pills of lost feelings fell like tears. A rainbow medicine that promised him the emotional freedom he longed for, but at the same time a bitter reminder of his prison of apathy."

Day 2 #Inktobertale2023 "Pumpkin carving"

Ink hid his face behind a pumpkin mask. With a dramatic gesture, he pulled it back, revealing a creepy, disturbing smile to the soul. His laughter echoed in the night, a mixture of mystery and malice. A sign of how threatening a soulless being can be.

Come on, day 2 of the Inky sjsj challenge and yes, I know that in itself it is something like "carved pumpkin" but I took reference more than it was a Pumpkin Night cover, why? I don't know, it just made me more interesting haha

In addition to this, I wanted to make two versions, one with the pumpkin on and the other would be this drawing, but it would be too much for me, so here it is just this one.

And done, there is no more background xd

Day 2 #Xayahtober2023 Sacrifice

On Xayah's hands, the blood of the human she killed drips like a condemnation. His eyes, once filled with innocence, now reflect terror and panic. On his face you can see the burden of the decision that changed his destiny. That day Xayah sacrificed more than her empathy and her old life.

Okay, let's move on to day two, and I tried to do something different, but I don't think it turned out well haha, I still like it a lot.

This drawing is not of any Xayah, but of the version of Xayah that I have, Heartless (Kind of an Undertale Au ahaha). And it is easy to recognize by the scar on his right eye, which is not very noticeable here x,d

This is all because I want to continue exploring more of the story I'm giving you. And, analyzing it, the fact that she saw the human attack on her village, seeing everyone die and being the only one who could escape, must have generated trauma for the survivor. Adding that that same day, after a human who came to chase her, she tried to flee, but the cornered verse had no choice but to kill him. And let's just say that murdering someone with her own hands after still dealing with the shock of her family's death, I don't think it was pretty for little Xayah.

So this drawing is to reflect that "sacrifice" of having killed someone (even if it was a human who deserved it), because not only did he lose his innocence, his peace, his empathy, but mainly because of the blood of his family that was given for her to survive.
