Gay Grey

Some days you (well, I!) wake up and naturally put on an entire outfit of monochromatic clothes. What a Cackle’s girl.

Sometimes I get comments that my outfits are so grey and dreary when I myself am so–effusive? Yes, let’s stick with effusive.

And I think (all right, say:) I think it says more about you than me that grey means dreary.

Especially here in the land of the Grey and Dreary weather (which I happen to delight in).

We can be bright without colour in every shade of grey; but add a little colour and we really pop.

There’s nothing better than learning how to be the Gay sort of Grey. 

I should know. My school specialises in it.

I told you a bit of colour makes us really pop. It’s in the eyes.

If kitty litter is fun, then I am having Too Much Fun over in my new home.

Which makes my hobbies a little suspect but that’s not exactly news to us, is it?

Kitty Litter

I stopped at the old hag’s house (reclamation: it means wise powerful old woman, men fear old women and made it ugly; I think we should take it back) to care for her old cat and was admiring her cat litter.

(That’s good, Millie: spend your time admiring cat litter and the perfectly-formed and easily scoop-sift-sortable cat gifts therein. Is it any wonder you’re single, old girl?)

After some respectful snooping in her witchen (witch kitchen, like witchin’ kitchen yeah? (; ) I discovered she likely makes the stuff herself.

Now why had I never thought of that? Making your own kitty litter. I bet I could do that. Make something safe, natural, aromatic but not obtrusive, clumping, sifting, not-too-heavy cat litter that doesn’t need frequent replacing. Perhaps with a litter-refreshing potion to sit along side for use after cleaning. I certainly know enough about bad litter to avoid the pitfalls.

I think it’s time to do kitty-litter magical science.

And if I succeed, Cackle’s Academy is the only place to go. I’ll tell you something: there’s no place for testing cat litter like Cackle’s. School runs amuck with cats (and gloriously catty people).
