blue [x.dejun]
⇾ part 1 of wayv colour series
Xiaojun was blue, like the calm waves of the ocean on a summer day, refreshing and tangy to the nose—ever tranquil and soothing to your soul.
He was azure, like the myriads of harmonious guitar strums and angelic vocals, floating through the gap of your opened bedroom window. You simply couldn’t imagine how you’ve ended up with a neighbour as ethereal as that, surely he couldn’t be real?
He was cobalt, with a pinch of cheekiness, when he slyly giggled at your untied shoelaces, nudging your shoulders over inside jokes. Fragments of banters and shared knowing looks made up you and him.
Xiaojun was also cerulean, when he brought over food that he insisted was extra. Of course they were, but didn’t you smell stew cooking in the early morning through your dazed, bleary self—or was it all a dream?
Xiao Dejun was all and every shade of blue; beautiful and serene, good for the mind and heart. But when he left, God, you’ve never felt so sick of the colour.
It choked you, dark crimson in your bloodstream poisoned with the slate blue shade. Violet cords of veins seemed to strangle you, and how you wish, wish, wish you never saw that colour again. You were full and overflowing with blue, blue, blue, staining each memory you have of him, photographs and plates blotched with that hue.
You’ve had to admit, you never felt so blue in your life.

[003.1] oblivion, choi beomgyu
part 1
You would say you’re lucky, having a friend like Beomgyu to accompany you on late-night research for your assignments. As much as you wanted to claim that the both of you are close, it's difficult when you realise the only time you spent together was at the library studying.
Going to the café seemed like a good change.
"What coffee do you like?" Beomgyu's voice was quiet, almost a whisper as you both walked across the silent hallway of the campus.
"I don't drink much coffee," You chuckled, fingers curling naturally around the leather straps of your backpack. You shuffled in your place, suddenly feeling awkward under Beomgyu's gaze. "I'm more of a tea person?"
Beomgyu stuttered in his steps. "O-oh, you should've told me that earlier. This café don't sell great tea."
"It's fine," You shrugged. He nodded stiffly, beckoning you to follow along.
Another awkward silence.
+
"Thanks for coming with me."
You turned in surprise, Beomgyu wasn't looking at you, he was fiddling with the bracelet latch on his left wrist.
"Why are you thanking me?" You sipped the cold latte, cringing a little at the lingering taste.
"I--I just," Beomgyu stopped, scratching his neck in frustration. He bit the straw hard, palms too sweaty to help him think straight.
You shifted closer, "Gyu?"
"Go out with me?" He blurted, turning around to meet your surprisingly unamused eyes.
"Aren't we out right now? Where else do you wanna go?" You questioned, taking another torturous sip of overly expensive beverage.
Beomgyu's mouth was agape, brain lagging a few tabs behind.
"The convenience store maybe? I kinda wanna try the new instant ramen."
The twist in his stomach simply wouldn't go away. How else is he going to make this clear to you, or are you just playing dumb?

drop-dead,gorgeous [l.yangyang]
⇾ pairing : liu yangyang x reader

⇾ wc : 1k
⇾ genre/warnings : fast-burn?? angsty | mild swearing, reader has an anger fit
Tumblr media
You met him in the heat of the sweltering summer gathering by the beach, with murmurs sounding like the humming of a thousand bees and some catchy dance music that faded into white noise. You could remember how humid that night was, the thin material of your top melting into one with your skin, locks of your tresses matted together with the growing grease.
He had his hair slicked back with sweat like everyone there, a cheeky grin adorning his flushed face when one of his friends cracked a loud joke. Pretty boy, pretty smile, pretty face-exactly the type you don’t go for.
But there was something about that had you avoiding him the whole night.
Maybe it’s because the very moment you laid your eyes on him, your lungs constricted painfully, squeezing out every puff of oxygen you were desperately trying to get into your system. There and then, you swore you tasted the very feel of Death. It was as if he was stealing every bit of front you tried to put up against him as a personal token of proud achievement.
And when he shot you a coy smirk, you knew it was over for you.
“I’m Yangyang.”Warm hand enclosed yours, which was growing colder by the minute. Your throat parched, despite the countless cups of alcohol you downed minutes ago.
You stuttered when responding, eliciting another amused grin from him.
Maybe it was the way he moved, or maybe it was the way he strung words together so seamlessly, rolling off his tongues in perfect notions when he spoke. Or it could be his air of nonchalance he wore that spelt out trouble-but-you-don’t-know-it-yet.
Yangyang was so gorgeous, you wanted to say you hate him for that. You barely knew him and you’re stumbling stupid over the things you wanted to say, the organ in your chest pumping so hard it might go into overdrive. You wanted to be furious, but what could be done? Another curl of his lips and you're putty in his hands again.
He wasn’t even the epitome of heartbreak; soft brown hair and white shirt and shorts with mischievous bright eyes. But somehow, you knew he was more capable of leaving you in an incurable anguish compared to any boy you’ve ever met.
+
“You don’t like flowers?” He asked, a cup of freshly brewed tea between his fingers. Yangyang watched as you shook your head, letting out a small chuckle that seemed to mock him.
“Surprised? Most girls don’t really want flowers, or at least for me. It’s useless, it dies way too quickly and it doesn't even smell nice.”You said, watching his fluid movements as he stirred the liquid. “Why are you asking?”
“Too bad I got these for you then.”He mumbled, pulling out a small bouquet of neatly arranged primroses. Yangyang suddenly appeared bashful, a red tint creeping up his neck when your fingers brushed gingerly against him. It made him look younger,15 perhaps...a middle schooler giving his long-time crush cute flowers right before he confesses.
Sucks that it was all in your head. Why would he like you, of all people?
“Thanks,” You muttered, unsure of how to reply. There was no explicit reason for this right? But why was your blood thumping so hard against your eardrums?
“Primroses symbolises young love,” Yangyang said, eyes gazing at you intently. His tone was quiet, but enough to hold your attention. “It’s rather popular for signifying that a person can’t live without the other.”
You nodded awkwardly, gripping your own cup in slight confusion. This is unbelievable, was he implying that he was interested in you?
“Nice.”You choked out.
“Yeah,” His mouth parted like he had more to say, but decided against it. “They’re really pretty right?”
Yangyang never knew how much power he had over you.
+
You didn’t know how the fleeting glances and lingering touches ended up with tangled limbs and intertwined lives. It had been months since the first encounter, and now you laid comfortably on his couch, with Yangyang holding you close in the dark, the only source of light was the bright LED from the screen.
Tired eyes drooped, you pressed your face against his shoulder, his arm tightening around your waist habitually. You heard him sighed in contentment, whispering something in your ear that your hazy brain was too tired to figure out. All that mattered was you felt safe and at rest with him, with the long fingers threading through your hair just adds to your drowsiness.
"Yang," You called, palms clenching the front of his shirt. He hummed, reaching over your body for the remote.
"I'll get you to bed, okay?" He said, turning off the TV and everything went quiet. "Just go to sleep."
Yangyang was gentle when he laid you down on his bed, even more so when he crawled beneath the sheets with you. His thumb circled your shoulder blades carefully, eyes suddenly catching sight of the drooping roses on the nightstand.
He reminded himself to change it tomorrow.
+
The broken vase pieces pierced your skin when you slammed it down, wilted primroses swimming in the remnants of the stale water. Yangyang was silent, swallowing thickly as he watched you raged even more. He simply couldn’t blame you, it was all on him.
“I knew we were too good to be true,” You gasped for air, the stabbing pain in your thoracic cavity was tearing your apart. The tears were long gone, and in its place were white-hot fury at your naivety of trusting him, or even loving him. Of even giving him a shot when you should’ve trusted your guts.
The damp flowers shook pathetically, almost seeming to laugh at his slouching figure.
“I was a joke to you huh?” You continued your onslaught on the abnormally silent boy. He was always quick-witted, fast to banter and exchange cheeky remarks but in that instant, he could only listen.
“Liu Yangyang, I don’t ever want to see you again.” Your red-rimmed eyes, clammy skin and dishevelled self was the opposite of the glowing person he first saw on that party. Jaw tightened, he didn’t bother to answer you, crouching to clear up the shattered glass.
He wasn’t the epitome of heartbreak. And that was the problem from the beginning.

heyhey! not quite sure what you meant in the first part (if you don't mind, would you send another ask?) my brain is a little slow today (:
i've only ever used twitter to talk to my friends, so i guess it's safe to say i never ventured into stan twt? i did like a few svt posts here and there but i never got involved bc i'm way too scared of any drama.
so i would pick tumblr! vvv chill, probably would recommend over twt.

[003] valentines, choi beomgyu
Tears were collecting at the rim of your eyes, having to concentrate so long on the blinding screen of your laptop. Fingers tapping swiftly on the buttons of the keyboards, you couldn't help but notice Beomgyu's unblinking stare on you. It was going on for about a quarter of an hour and he was relentless, gaze still trained on your face.
He seemed to be in deep thought, you noted and sniffed tiredly. The air conditioning was cold that day, and considering the long hours you both spent inside there was enough to freeze your insides. Rubbing your eyes, you yawned and squinted at the surprisingly silent boy.
"Why are you looking at me? Are you done with your paper?" You muttered, uncapping your flask. Glancing around to make sure there were no nosy librarians around, you gulped down the warm jasmine tea, wetting your dry mouth. You were dehydrated, hungry and sore, there was nothing more you want to do than to take a hot shower and finally retreat to the comforting covers of your bed.
Beomgyu twiddled with the ring on his thumb, reverting his peering to the reference books he brought. "Today's Valentines' Day." He said simply, propping his elbows on the sturdy table. He didn't look at you then, proceeding to pack up his stationeries.
"And?" You questioned back. The gears in your mind were turning way too slow, thanks to the burnt-out caused by the shitload of assignments. "Wait did you actually have a date?" You proclaimed, sitting up a little straighter. "Did I make you miss it?"
He shook his head, giving you an almost disbelieving look. "Should we do something today?" His tone was quieter than usual, rubbing nervous circles onto the skin of his hand. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion, the both of you were mere classmates, and most certainly wasn't dating.
"Why? Do you like me?" You grinned.
What other reasons are there for two people who were platonic to celebrate the day of romance together? You somewhat knew he developed a crush on you throughout the friendship but you weren't brave enough to ask him about it.
"No!"Beomgyu denied, shaking his head frantically. "I just thought, like maybe you wanna grab a coffee or something after this. "He trailed off, scratching the back of his neck in discomfort. "You don't have to say yes."
"Oh, but I want to." Standing up to stretch your stiff muscles, you smiled reassuringly at him.
Beomgyu visibly relaxed, heaving a breath he never knew he was holding.
"I'm really not in love with you or anything." He muttered, once you both checked out of the library. You glanced at him, agreeing along.
"I know that."
"Then, it's all good."Beomgyu said, ignoring the heavy feeling in his guts. As if.

The soft purrs of the engine were loud against the silence of the desolated stretch of fields, twinkling of the merry stars served little to no purpose in shedding light.Headlights were turned on full-beam,as a tired Soobin blinked blearily with futile attempts of keeping his head clear.Soft murmurs of your conversation with Beomgyu was lullaby to his ears, accompanied with the crackling of the bag of chips that Yeonjun was indulging in.Fortunately enough, the road was straight and he didn’t have to think much, just mindless driving with foot on the pedal at a steady pace.
“Do you wanna switch or anything?”Beomgyu asked, poking his head through the gap between the front seats. “Yeonjun and I can always take turns again, you’ve been driving for over 4 hours.”
Yeonjun had kickstarted the trip by a 2-hour drive, then Beomgyu with an hour. You didn’t contribute much other than making lively chatter to keep everyone awake, passing snacks and water around whenever needed.Soobin, the ever caring unofficial leader of your little friend group insisted to drive after that, and he was adamant to get there before sunset. But a late headstart and many wrong turns later, the four of you drove into the ink-black night, hoping to reach the cabin soon.
But as the path continued on and on with no road signs or buildings, you were starting to worry.

incompatible [h.jisung]
⇾ pairing : han jisung x reader
⇾ summary : you love him,he loves you.or does he not?
⇾ wc : 0.6k
⇾ genre/warnings : high school!au,angst,unrequited love
Tumblr media
The moment his skin touched yours,it was a minefield on your expanse. His fingers linked intricately between yours, woven with suppressed heartbeats and unsaid words, bouts of high shocking your forms as you leaned contentedly into his side. There was nothing more you wanted in that moment, allowing yourself to fall into the pit of puppy love; everything was playful,a little trusting and much more painful than you ever knew.
If you didn't know any better, you would dare say you were falling in love.
You never minded the hushed whispers, nor did you care about how Jisung was upright and rigid against you, clearly not entirely invested in the conversation. What mattered was you had him by your side, cheeks brushing, lips almost touching as shaky ripples of your breaths jumbled with sharing crooked smiles.
You let his rough hands frame your face, conflicted pupils gazing intently at every dip and divot of your features.Jisung looked at you as if he could map out the alignments of the universe, along with future dreams and college plans, and that it could tell him everything he did not know yet.The tenderness of his hold, the tremor in his pulsating wrist told you that the golden boy of your school was all and humane, they just never had the chance to see him behind closed doors. It told you that as much as a prodigy he was,he was still a teenager--mood swings, worries and feelings that don't differ much from yours.
If he didn't know any better, Han Jisung would say he was falling in love too.
He traced your lip with feather-light grazes,it was slightly chapped under the pad of his thumb.Any ounce of oxygen you had in your lungs were vacuumed clean, unable to think straight when his mouth neared yours.Every knot in your stomach tightened, your heart had stopped pumping when he suddenly kissed you.
It was so quick. You blinked in shock, trying to process what had happened,or whether you had been daydreaming too much about him to fantasize about a kiss. His red face to his slight pout told you everything---he was nervous,or he wouldn't have pulled out of your embrace so swiftly with his head in his hands.
And that it had actually happened.
You rubbed his arm tentatively, feeling him tensed up under the thin white shirt."Your lips are really warm."You quipped, not entirely sure what would be the right words in this case.
He let out a quiet whine of embarrassment, shifting away from you.And everything would have ended perfectly if Hyunjin hadn't burst into the classroom.
You couldn’t blame Hyunjin.Because deep down you knew that if the boy next to you truly liked you,he wouldn’t have been ashamed to be seen so close to you. And,he wouldn’t shift away from you as if you caught some sort of infectious disease.
Jisung jumped from you, jerking away harshly from your side to talk to the blond male.He acted like nothing had happened, scowl intensifying as he walked towards the long limbed boy.
To be honest,Hyunjin wasn't particularly interested in where you both stand with each other but your crestfallen expression gave everything away. You stood up,excusing yourself to the bathroom, brushing past Felix and Seungmin that were on the way to Jisung’s classroom. You heard their concerned voices but it felt like you were underwater, thick bubbles clogging up your ears.
You weren't one to question why he never wanted to let people know you were dating him,you knew he had his reasons.Months you had put up with sneaking around the backs of people,to him raging silently at boys who fawned over you.He never did anything other than throw jealous tantrums in private. But you like him too much,so you stayed despite the endless nights of doubts and piecing your soul back together.
Jisung never knew how he broke your little heart that day.

But as the path continued on and on with no road signs or buildings, you were starting to worry.
“Nah,all's good,”Soobin said, voice hoarse and dry from fatigue. “I'm sure we'll reach soon.”There was a clipped edge to his tone, letting his doubts slip when his eyes darted nervously to the map he was following and finally to the rearview mirror to meet Beomgyu's concerned ones.
“Maybe there is something wrong with the map.”Yeonjun finally said. “The turns we were making are leading us deeper and deeper into this place, which we barely know anything about. We're just putting ourselves in danger at this rate.”
Your palms pressed against your warm thighs, remnants of sweat collecting between the two surfaces despite the cool air-conditioning.You had the lingering feeling that something was off,and voiced out your thoughts to Yeonjun then.He merely nodded, but that was when the sun was out--bustling markets with mouthy ladies, loud chirps of birds and friendly smiles from the locals. Now when it was night, your fears were magnified further, but you kept your mouth shut.It was not because you wanted to put on some brave facade, but the thought of uttering nonsensical theories were pointless. You just don't see any good in planting fright in your friends' minds.
Yet,you found yourself agreeing with Yeonjun's comments. “We were on the road for at least 8 hours now.The brochure clearly said it would take around 5.”
Soobin sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. “Should we stop? There isn't anywhere here for us to crash for the night.”
Beomgyu leaned back into the seat, exhaling a breath he didn't know he was holding. The atmosphere ws tensed, discomfort written over your faces as Soobin slowly pulled over to the side of the road.He turned to you, eyebrows scrunched together in apprehension as he studied your face carefully before speaking.
“If we were to spend a night in the car, would you be okay with it?If you're really uncomfortable you can say something.”
“I'm okay with it,”You stopped mid-sentence,about to continue but your throat constricted the airway, causing you to choke on nothing.Your eyes widened at what you noticed,, “And there's no reason to go on in this weather.”You gestured outside, environment blurred by thick fog swirling around the vehicle. It was almost impossible to penetrate through even with the highest settings of lights, plummeting any hope of continuing further that night.
“Is it even safe here?”Beomgyu exclaimed, palms pushing against the cool glass of windows. “It was clear just a minute ago!”
“When did the mist even settle in?”Yeonjun questioned, frowning at the heavy haze.
The shivers up your spine was cold, like icy fingers of the lake rubbing onto the knobs of your bones. The unsettling feeling in your guts weren’t felt by you only,as the boys began shifting uneasily in their places.
“I locked the doors. We are going to stay in the car for now.”Soobin stated. His normally calm demeanor had an evident crack, balls of his feet bouncing up and down in jittery movements.
The hammering of your heart was loud against your chest,as you subconsciously shuffled closer to Beomgyu. You clutched on to the hem of his white shirt, feeling his thumb patting your knuckles comfortingly. The rings adorning his fingers were a stark contrast against your feverish skin, adrenaline coursing strongly through your veins despite not moving.
“Do you think the petrol will last?”
You heard Soobin whisper to Yeonjun. The older male shrugged, chewing his chapped bottom lip in distress.
“If the air-cond is turned on,we’re gonna waste more of it.”
“I bought an extra can back at the station,”Beomgyu interjected. “It should be enough for us to go back.”
A few more minutes of absolute stillness prolonged, each alert and cautious.Your ears were perked to catch any noise that was out of the ordinary, and with the grim faces of the boys, you knew they were doing the same.
“Watching horror movies would pay off, huh?”Beomgyu hummed near your ear.His breath tickled, lips tugging into a light smile.
“No one would be stupid enough to do what the characters do in horror movies.”
“There isn’t anything horror about this,I think we just took the wrong map”Soobin mused. “Just calm down, everything would be alright in the morning.”
Maybe his words played fate,or maybe he jinxed it.
But you were sure the faraway engine sputters of a truck were not a figment of your hallucinations.
“I can’t see anything.”Yeonjun trailed off,hands tightened into fists.
The sultry thrums of the larger motor right outside of your safe little bubble was enticing, the thought of getting out of the stuffy car into a nice spacious room to rest your aching bones in hot water sounded great in your head. But you were not dumb. There was no purpose taking the risk of getting into places with strangers you knew nothing about.
“The doors are locked right?”Beomgyu’s voice trembled.
The fog was thick, but not thick enough to hide the black-clad approaching figures.

not the first nfia anon, but to answer abit, since nflying debuted in 2015 but hweseung was added in 2017, and dongsung added only this year, its most likely that their contracts will end at different times, which will make it difficult for them to move together into a different company. and i think we should be careful about calling someone brainwashed, having sentimental feelings for a place you grew up in is perfectly normal, considering jaehyun has been in fnc for more than half his life
Tumblr media
thank you guys! yeah true, idk why i didn't think of it :/ but i still wish them all the best in whatever they're doing, so much love and support for them in their decisions but at the end of the day,it's still them who knows best for themselves.
