It's shown in Tron Legacy that the Strays that are picked up to compete in the Arena are mostly completely terrified by it (one of them even preferring suicide over having to go there), which is understandable since they will most likely all be killed sooner or later, by Rinzler och Clu if not by one of their own.

This made me think about the Sirens in a different light. Sam's reaction to them is something like "huh, this is kind of weird, and kind of sexy, but mostly weird", presumably because he's not aware what they're preparing him for. But to the other Strays, who are apparently very much aware of what's going to happen next, the Sirens must be utterly horrifying. They're basically smiling demons who come out of the walls to tear off your clothes and force you into useless armor (so that you'll look good in front of the bloodthirsty crowd) before leaving you alone in a dark empty room to prepare yourself before you step into Hell to be tortured to death.

One of the Sirens remarks "he's different" about Sam. This is probably because he's just standing around looking confused, rather than being on his knees, crying and begging for mercy, which is what I suspect they usually have to deal with.

im so mad that kitty and illyana interact so little in the krakoa era and now they are presumably going to interact even less during fall of x despite how fucking RIPE the interactions between them would be with kitty fully giving in to violence and despair while illyana attempts to keep her and her teammates calm even without her powers

it doesnt even have to be romantic! (it should be but still) theyre best friends! why is so much of krakoa era kate's interactions involve frost instead? give the girlfriends something to do!

I'm interested in reading this.

So much of Death's Head's timeline is so incredibly convoluted... but the important thing here is that this lady, Stealth, is the mother of Necker, who built the base that became this Death's Head... and also she is doing it "again" but time is so screwy here that there is a chance that this is also the first time and we're in a loop.

Look, this is probably going to end up as an unpopular post, because God knows the level of brainrot capitalism and fast consumption caused in people's brains, but I'd rather not get TV shows for a while if it means writers get their rights defended and recognized.

Entertainment can't come at the cost of fair pay, healthy work environment and ethical practices.

I finished the Alan Davis run of Excalibur last night. I recommend it.

I think Excalibur might be my favorite comic series.

I'm going to keep reading even though I've heard it goes downhill from here.
