So without going into too much detail about my job… something happened three weeks ago with a client and their provider told me to fix it and I said “well actually you’re supposed to do xyz per state guidelines.” They told me they couldn’t do it. Besties, they stressed my ass out for three weeks and I finally got everything settled and it seemed calm. Well the state is now asking why they shucked their responsibilities and I was like, “I don’t know but I got tired of dealing with the unprofessionalism so I went above them and took care of it.” But now the provider is like, “oh, upon further consultation we can actually do that.” Why weren’t you seeking further consultation when I told you it was your legal responsibility??? Did you think I was throwing around big scary words like a kid preparing for the spelling bee???? Anyway… now they’re like, “we appreciate all the hard work you’ve put in on this, Wyn, you’ve really been great to work with through this.” APPRECIATE ME WITH A SPA DAY, GIRLS, I AM LOSING MY HAIR!!!!!!

Anyway, I went on a shopping spree and bought all my favorite bath and lotion products today because I’m exhausted and I deserve it.

Had my yearly evaluation at work, was approved for a 3% raise and asked to be considered to receive a 5% instead (it was only mildly scary to ask that) and now I'm dealing with Barnes & Noble to ask to cancel a preorder I placed six months ago that isn't even in the queue to be shipped yet (the book came out last week).
