Imagine your f/o's thoughts jumping to you first when they want to do something with someone. It can be something as mundane as a grocery store trip. They want you there because your company makes them happy. It makes boring tasks just a little more bearable, because if you're there they can make you laugh, just as you make them. If it's somewhere fun or special, of course they'd want you there. What better way is there to have a good time than spending it with someone you care about? Maybe it's just watching that new show. They were going to watch it anyway, but maybe you might want to see it too. Or maybe you've already started it or even seen the whole thing. Still, they want you there. Because they love you and want to spend time together. Just being in each other's presence is enough. You dont even have to be doing something together. They just want to be near you. And they know they can go to you just as you could easily go to them.

Imagine the small touches between you and your F/O. One of the first ones is them wiping something off your face when they notice it. Though they had done it without much thought, the action leaves the both of you with warm blushing faces. As you become more familiar, their hand brushes yours as you walk together. They mumble a "sorry" and start to pull away, but you stop them before they can get too far. You both continue on your way, hand-in-hand, without another word about it. When you're together and truly comfortable in each other's presence, they'll touch your shoulder or your side as they squeeze past you. Their touch lingers just a tad longer than necessary, but they eventually continue on with whatever they're doing. No matter how small, each action is so full of love. Your F/O has never been happier than when they're with you, and they'll show you in whatever way they can.

Imagine your F/O giving you a goodnight kiss every night.

Most nights it's right before you both go to bed. They kiss your forehead when they pass you in the bathroom brushing your teeth or the tip of your nose facing you in bed after they turn off the lights.

Sometimes, it's after you've fallen asleep. They lean over to kiss you gently, trying very hard not to wake you up, before getting ready for bed and joining you. They pull you as close as they know you're comfortable with and kiss you once more for good measure.

Other times, they're tired and head off to bed before you, hoping you'll join them eventually, rather than getting lost in whatever you're working on or doing and missing out on much needed sleep. They gently lift your hand to their lips and kiss your knuckles, bringing your attention to them for at least a moment as they tell you, "Goodnight. I love you."

And if you return their goodnight kisses, they become so giddy that some nights it's hard for them to actually fall asleep afterwards. But after a while, hearing your soft breathing next to them, they're able to follow you into the land of dreams, knowing you'll be there waiting for them.

Imagine your F/O finding a drawing you did of them. It doesn't have to be anything special, maybe an absent-minded doodle you drew while trying to focus on something else. They ask you if you drew it and if it was really them. You get flustered and try to take it from them so they can't see anything so embarrassing anymore, but they keep it from you.

"Please, can I have it?" They ask, pouting at your continued attempts to snatch it out of their hands.

You frown, and, of course, you're hesitant, but something about the way they look between you and the drawing has you giving in. You expect teasing and that they'll bring it up to embarass you in conversations, but none of that happens and eventually you forget about it.

You don't really think about it until you see it again somewhere your F/O looks frequently, maybe tucked in between the mirror and its frame or in their wallet. The embarrassment returns, but then you realize how often you've seen them staring at it fondly without realizing just what they were looking at.

So you confront them about it, "I didn't expect you to keep it."

"What do you mean? It's wonderful. I love it," they explain.

"It's not even that good."

"It doesn't have to be. You made it and gave it to me, so it's special," they say with a fond smile. "Still, I think it's great. Much better than anything in a museum or anywhere else."

Here's the most interesting part. They started off much further away from each other and I didn't even realize there was a whole frog on the side of my house until the lizard started creeping towards him. At first, I was just like "yay, it's Gecko time" then I saw the frog.

Imagine your F/O coming to you and asking if they can hold you. It can be any way you want, whatever is easiest and doesn't interrupt your day too much. It might just be a simple hug from behind as you cook for a moment. Or it might be sitting on the couch with you on their lap and their chin resting on your shoulder as you continue doing whatever you were doing before. They just want a moment of your time, a moment where you're safe in their arms and where nothing else matters except the two of you being together.

Alternately, imagine your F/O wanting to be held, or cuddled. They're always there for you, and they know the same is true in reverse, so they feel perfectly comfortable asking no matter how vulnerable it makes them feel. Even if you're smaller, there's no where they feel safer than in your arms.

They bring you drinks to keep you hydrated and snacks for a little energy boost. If they notice you losing focus and it's something with a deadline or that you wanted to get done soon, they try to figure out something to take your mind off the task at hand for a minute and get you refreshed so you can get back to it as quickly as possible. Once you're done, they cheer for you as if it's some great accomplishment even if it's something small.
