Prologue - Surprise

I broke down crying, letting out all the tears I kept within me because of him. I love him so much that it freaking hurts me.

“Harry…” he said knocking at my bedroom door.

“Just hear me out please. I know that I have hurt you a lot and I am not denying the fact. Words won’t be enough to explain how sorry I am.” Hearing the sadness and guilt in his voice made me cry harder.

“But baby, every moment I spent without you by my side has been like hell. Harry, we have been through a lot with each other and we always find a way back.” I could hear him tearing up. I could hear him crying.

“Harry, I love you more than anything  in this world. Please give us, me, another chance.” He stuttered.

“Baby…” he choked on his tears “I am scared at the thought of you giving up on us, on me. Every time I think about it, it scares the living day lights out of me.” I was a crying mess by now as I heard Zayn pour his heart out to me. I wanted to go out, hug him and tell him everything will be alright. But I have been hurt and I don’t want to walk through that road again.

“Harry I love you. And all I am asking is for you to forgive me and to give us a chance. Please Harry” I heard the desperation in his voice but I can’t forgive him. I just can’t.

A few seconds passed when I heard him walk away from my bedroom door. Harry get up and go talk to him, my mind yelled but my heart refused. You know what they say, in one life time you will love many times but one love will burn your soul forever. I guess that’s true for me and Zayn.
