For more information about them, I highly recommend you check out the websites or books I listed in sources!

Whumpee lies in bed, a quilt pulled up to their chin, their head turned slightly to the side on the pillow. Their eyes are shut, their breathing soft and even, though they're still wheezing slightly. Even in sleep there's a small crease between their brows. The lamplight near their bed catches the sheen of sweat on their forehead and in their damp hair. They shift their head a little bit, frowning in their sleep, when a hand gently brushes the damp curls away from their forehead. The hand rests there, moving next to their cheek. Their face relaxes.

Tutor WiP
Sebastian knows he’s a flirt. Or more accurately, people have always called Sebastian a flirt. To him, he’s just being nice and making friends. To date, Sebastian could count on one hand the number of crushes he’s had in his life— only one, Blaine. He had fallen hard for the other boy right away.
He had thought he backed off when Blaine had mentioned his boyfriend. Blaine hadn’t complained, and Sebastian felt that they got along pretty well. Blaine was a whiz kid at Calculus, and Sebastian had never really gotten math, but Blaine made an excellent tutor. In exchange, he listened as Blaine talked about his feelings, about how McKinley wasn’t really a challenge for him academically, and how he felt like an outsider even among the group that claimed to be open to all the outsiders. They talked about glee club and the Warblers and hung out more often than not.
He didn’t know that Blaine wasn’t telling his boyfriend about their meetings. He had only met Kurt a few times. The first was right after The Warblers went to see Blaine in West Side Story. He had unsurprisingly stolen the show, which is why Sebastian was surprised when Jeff leaned in when the cops first walked in and informed him that Officer Krupke was Blaine’s boyfriend.
When they had flooded the lobby to praise Blaine after the show, Sebastian noticed that Kurt spent the entire time glaring from afar instead of celebrating with them. Sebastian had even attempted to introduce himself to Kurt, but he had just rolled his eyes and ignored Sebastian’s congratulations. That meeting was when he realized that he was never going to be friends with Blaine’s boyfriend.
The second meeting was at the Lima Bean. They had been studying, Blaine explaining derivatives and limits softly and Sebastian getting frustrated because he was smart and he usually took to things easily, but math was his weak spot.
“You need a break,” Blaine announced, noticing Sebastian’s sour mood. “You’ve pretty much gotten the basics down. I’ll get us refills, and we can work through your homework before we call it a night.“
He didn’t even wait, marching over to the counter and leaving Sebastian alone, which he really appreciated. Sometimes, he just needed to take a few moments with himself after tough material to digest what he’s been learning. He stretched in his chair and allowed himself to get up and walk to the bathroom.
When he got back to the table, Blaine was sitting back in his seat looking over his notes, and Sebastian’s drink was sitting right in front of his chair. He took a long slow sip and allowed his eyes to wander over Blaine. He loved to watch Blaine work. He was smart and methodical, which was a nice change of pace to Sebastian who made quick, rash decisions and could let his emotions get the better of him.
After a minute more, he sighed and opened his math book to the problems that his teacher had assigned for him. Blaine glanced up and over at the sound, recognizing that Sebastian felt he could handle math again. He closed his notebook and moved back next to Sebastian.
“Look, you only got assigned like a page of problems. We can definitely get through this in the next hour.” Blaine said, softly, encouragingly. Sebastian took a breath, letting the soft tone wash over him.
They worked through the first problem together, and then Blaine let Sebastian work on the rest. He always checked it over before they left and made sure Sebastian could see where he made mistakes and how to fix them.
However, right as Sebastian was finishing up the last problem, a voice sounded from over his shoulder.
“Blaine?” Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Blaine flinch, then put a smile on his face.
“Hi, Kurt. I didn’t know you were coming by today.” He answered as Kurt made his way over to their table.
“I needed a coffee fix after the night that Rachel and I had,” Kurt took a sip of his coffee and frowned down at it. Then he looked at Sebastian. “And who is this?”
“Kurt, this is Sebastian.” Blaine’s voice was smaller than it had been earlier, and Sebastian felt his face pinch at the recognition.
“I see. And how do we know Sebastian?” Kurt asked, and Sebastian had to dig his nails into his palm to keep from lashing out at Kurt’s infantilizing tone.
“He’s in the Warblers, and he needed help with math,” Blaine answered. He looked so shut down that Sebastian knew he had to help Blaine the same way Blaine helped him. He schooled his features into an unimpressed look.
“Ahh, so you’re the infamous Kurt,” he smirked. His dad had taught him to kill his enemies with kindness. “I’ve heard so much about you.”
“And I’ve heard almost nothing about you.” It was a good comeback, but Sebastian only lifted an eyebrow.
“Probably because there’s nothing to tell. I’m Blaine’s friend, and he’s helping me with math. Now, if you’d excuse us, I would really like to finish my math before I have to-”
Kurt cuts him off. “No.”
Sebastian’s eyebrows crinkled in confusion. “What do you mean “no”?”
“Blaine is coming with me. Come on Blaine.” Blaine looked up startled. He had practically shrunk into himself, and Sebastian noticed for the first time just how small the other boy was.
“We only have a few more problems, Kurt. Sebastian has lacrosse soon anyway. Let me finish up here, and we can do-”
“No, I need you to help me pick out an outfit for my NYADA audition. You can help your friend with math later.” The way Kurt said the last sentence made it very clear that he didn’t think they were actually friends or just doing math together.
Sebastian opened his mouth to fight back, but Blaine sent him a look across the table— apologetic, sad, and uncomfortable. It was a plea to just let him leave. He gave a soft nod, and Blaine scrambled to collect all his things.
After that meeting, Sebastian definitely didn’t like Blaine’s boyfriend.
Sebastian didn’t mean to ruffle Kurt’s feathers. Honestly, he didn’t even know he’d done it. He actually really enjoyed Shirley Temples when he was a designated driver, and Blaine had mentioned that Kurt doesn’t like to drink anyway, so he thought he was just doing something nice.
From the way Kurt is staring at him, Sebastian doesn’t think the gesture was being taken that way. Nevertheless, Kurt took the drink, then plopped down on a nearby bar stool. Blaine smiled when he took his drink from Sebastian and took a sip. Sebastian followed suit. After all, Blaine knew Kurt best and he would know how to fix his moods.
They take seats next to Kurt and start chatting about school and the Warblers. Sebastian knows he’s smiling widely— but he just can’t help that when he’s with Blaine. As the other boy begins to tell a story about his glee club though, Kurt coughs pointedly.
“Maybe you shouldn’t be spilling any information about New Directions to our competition, Blaine.” It’s so sugary sweet that you could almost miss the condescending tone, and Sebastian becomes uncomfortable. Blaine gets quiet and starts picking at the label on his bottle.
They sit like that for a minute or two— the three of them sitting in a line, facing the bar. Sebastian sneaks a glance at Blaine, and he looks so destroyed. They had thought this up together to make up for the coffee shop incident, but two minutes in and it was already crumbling apart. Sebastian clears his throat.
“So, Kurt, how is the college search going?” He asks, trying to make conversation. Kurt doesn’t answer, so Sebastian figures he didn’t hear him. He raises his voice a little. “How many colleges have you applied to?”
That question also goes unanswered, and Sebastian knows that he had heard him both times because Blaine, who had turned expectantly to Kurt, scoffed as the other boy continued to ignore Sebastian. “Kurt, Sebastian’s trying to-”
“Can’t you tell I’m in no mood to talk?” Kurt snaps. “I don’t even want to be here, remember? Especially not with him around.”
Sebastian doesn’t have to look up. He knows Kurt’s referring to him. He turns to Blaine. “You know, if you guys want to leave-”
“No.” Blaine blurts. He glares at Kurt for a minute, then huffs and offers Sebastian his hand. “Would you like to dance?”

Falling in love with a revolutionist was terrifying. And utterly thrilling. Every time he spoke, he inspired masses, and you had the chance to observe— always close enough to appreciate, close enough that you were in real danger of getting burnt by the bright flame that shone from behind his eyes.
He had a real gift for speeches, and he always knew exactly when to use them to evoke whatever emotion he had to draw from those around him. It reminded you of a puppet master, pulling the strings to make the marionettes dance. You blink, and you almost catch a glimpse of each silvery thread as he marches his way to the front of the gathering. You worry his charisma and draw will be the death of him. He never knows when to stop.
Words dripped from his lips like honey and everyone reached out for a taste of the liquid sugar. You find it enticing, but you know behind the honey is venom. He saves the real sweetness for when you’re alone— tells you about how he made these plans for you both. He whispers about going off the grid and nurturing the revolution, and it lulls you into a sense of fuzziness where you aren’t quite asleep, but not in control.
He shows you glimpses of what he calls your child— the proof of your love and devotion, the masses that buy into the shit that he’s selling— and you watch as they parrot his hollow words back to him. They go out and cause problems. They go out and draw attention. They go out and get shot.
You come back to yourself for a bit, distraught that your child has begun imploding. That these impressionable minds that you have been shaping have forgotten what it means to be human. They don’t get it and you finally realize that you have lost control.
“But we’ve been following our heart— our primal instincts. They’re the predators. They are the ones swallowing us whole. We need to protect ourselves by any means. Only the best of us can survive their attack. That’s you. And that’s me. We don’t need no one else.”
He’s whispering, but you don’t remember him coming into the room. That’s been happening more often lately, and you haven’t seen your third for lack of a better word in a couple days. You already know he’s found a way to silence her.
“She was trying to get between us.” He spits the words at you, and you vaguely register that you are no longer in the kitchen surrounded by the others. You aren’t really sure where you are. You start sleeping more.
“It’s survival of the fittest baby.” He whispered softly. “Don’t we love our boys? What happened to taking care of them?”
“You’ve revolutionized them. Hell, they don’t even know their own names anymore.” You can’t cry. You’ve been feeling numb lately.
“I’m just trying to keep us safe.”
It echoes around you.
Safe. You start to run.
Safe. He doesn’t chase. Just laughs. It follows you as you jump over the porch steps and run through the streets. It takes a couple minutes, but you register the screams first. They’re primal and ugly— like an animal struggling to take each breath. You register the tears next, as your cheeks grow cold.
Finally, you collapse in the middle of the street. He’s there not too long after.
“Come on. Let’s get you home.” He wraps his warm arm around your neck, and you don’t fight as he drags you up and towards the house. “I’m sure that felt great.”
It feels like you should scream for help, but you’ve been out of air for so long that you are scared you are going to lose it all again if you let go. Besides, he would never hurt you.
You wake up a few hours or maybe a few days or it could even have been a month later. You’ve been lying in the plaid sheets for a while, wrapped in a fluffy blanket of ignorance. He’s gone— inspiring and spreading his message. You aren’t even really  sure who’s in on it and who isn’t at this point. Everywhere you turn is another knowing smirk, another threat, another lost cause.
You feel empty noticing them.

Sneak Peak of my Current WIP
‘hey b, u know where a guy can get some cookies?’
‘it’s midnight?’
‘so is that a no?’
‘...’
‘where are you? i’ll pick you up’
Sebastian stumbled outside the house he’d been in. The Warblers had been asked to perform at a party for some of the Crawford girls, and while a few had skipped out after the performance, most had stayed and had a bit too much to drink.
Immediately, he knew he had made a mistake. The streetlights outside were swimming. He blinked a couple times before sitting on the porch steps to wait for Blaine to show up with cookies. At least, he hopes Blaine brings cookies. He was really craving some Thin Mints. Was it still Girl Scout season?
He’s distracted from this line of thought by the Silver Honda pulling up to the curb. A window rolls down, pop music drifting over to where he was seated, and it hits him that it’s almost like a rom com— complete with the cute boy calling to him while playing music outside his window.
“Seb, hey.” Blaine smiles as Sebastian makes his way over to the car, and he can feel the butterflies and alcohol swishing around in his stomach. “I had a feeling you were at least a little drunk. C’mon, you can crash at mine tonight.”
Not for the first time, Sebastian thanked whatever higher power had brought the other boy into his life as he opened the passenger door. There, in the seat, a box of Thin Mints sat waiting for him. He looks back at Blaine, grinning, before grabbing the box and scrambling into the car.
“You always know exactly what’s on my mind.” He says fondly, already cracking into the box.
“Yea, well… I had a box tucked away on my ‘Sebastian’ shelf.” Blaine starts driving away. “Did you have fun at the party?”
“It was fine. Nick and Jeff bailed early though, so I mostly just talked drama with the Crawford girls. And they talked me into playing Never Have I Ever, and they’re pretty tame so..” He shrugged.
Blaine nods along, but there’s a crease between his brows that signals something unpleasant was on his mind. He’d always been able to pick up on when Blaine was upset. “I hope I didn’t wake you up or drag you away from something fun.”
Blaine laughed, but it wasn’t his normal, carefree laugh. “I was doing homework, don’t worry.” He is avoiding making eye contact with Sebastian, and he immediately knew what was wrong. It was clear Blaine didn’t want to talk about it though, so Sebastian just eats a cookie, then holds the next one out to feed to Blaine.
They continue like that through the neighborhood, Sebastian feeding them both cookies, and Blaine tapping his thumbs along to the songs on the radio. Eventually, Blaine pulls into the driveway, and Sebastian grins again. Blaine always made sure they got home safe.
He opens the door and the cool night air hits his face.  Sebastian suddenly wanted to go lay on the trampoline. He must say it out loud because Blaine is laughing.
“I think we need to go to bed.”
“But, stars! B, we have to look at the stars. What about our wishes?”
He’s aware that he’s close to whining, and Blaine is looking at him as if he’s speaking gibberish. He reaches out and softly tugs on Blaine’s hand, and a faint smile crosses the other boy's face. He follows Sebastian as he leads them out to the trampoline. He methodically unties and sets his shoes on the patio before climbing into the trampoline and letting gravity pull him down onto his back.
He bounces a few times softly, which was maybe a mistake because his stomach instantly sloshes and his head starts spinning. Blaine’s there in a flash though, handing him a bottle of water and sitting him upright. Sebastian drinks some water and breathes until the urge to puke starts to fade, and Blaine is there again, tugging a large blanket around both of their shoulders before tucking himself into Sebastian’s side.
They both tilt their heads up to look at the stars, and Sebastian debates whether to bring up whatever was bothering Blaine, but Blaine beats him to it.
“He thinks you just want to fuck me.”
Sebastian is so shocked that he starts laughing, and Blaine has to shush him to make sure they don’t wake his parents or their neighbors.
“Why does he think that?” Sebastian asks, trying to reign in his giggles.
Blaine shrugs. “I don’t know. I just don’t think he thinks that two gay people can just be friends, or something.”
Sebastian tries not to make a face. “He doesn’t think people can be bisexual either.” He can tell by Blaine’s face that it came out a little more snarky than he meant it to. “Besides, I’d never do that to you.”
He softly knocks their shoulders together. Or he tries to, but it turns into more him falling over into Blaine, who catches him with a soft ‘oomph’.
“Yea, I’m not sure what gave him that idea. He doesn’t even know you. I think he’s just jealous.” Sebastian doesn’t mean to, but he shivers a little, and Blaine tucks the blanket in around him a little more. Sebastian sighed as he felt Blaine’s head hit his shoulder, then looked back to the stars to make his wish.
