— Summary: You and Sunghoon had planned on going on a date outdoors. And even with the freezing temperatures, you chose to wear a short skirt and no jacket even after Sunghoon had warned you. Safe to say you had learned your lesson.

You and Sunghoon were supposed to go to the ice skating rink for your date. The cold winter air would essentially make the rink freezing.

And even after all of Sunghoon’s warnings and pleading, you wore white leggings, white long-sleeve top, thin sweater, and a short white skirt.

“baby, please go change. At least wear a jacket! Your gonna get sick,” he pleaded.

“But I really like this outfit! I swear I wont get sick, please?” You pouted.

Sunghoon sighed and looked at you from head to toe, once again.

“Fine, hurry up,” he huffed grabbing the keys before heading to the car.

You squealed and quietly thanked him.

Once you guys had arrived, your eyes scanned the area. Yep, definitely a skating rink.

Sunghoon sat down to put on his skates so you followed him like a shadow. Your skates were white, which contrasted from Sunghoon’s black ones. The blade of the skates shone brightly under the light, making it appear sharper than how it was.

He huffed again seeing your outfit.

“Are you sure you’re not cold? I can just give you my jacket—“, “No! Its alright, I’m fine. Really! And no offense, but that jacket doesn’t really go well with the theme Im going for..” You said, pointing at his green plaided jacket.

“Alright fine, I’ll stop asking. But you better not start whining,” he threatened.

You nodded with a smile plastered on your face, eyes gleaming with excitement.

After a while since you guys had arrived, you both have already started skating. You didn’t want to admit it, but it really was starting to get cold.

“Hurry up, your not usually this slow,” Sunghoon said, a bit harsher than he intended.

“Okay wait, in a minute,” you said trying to hold back from clattering your teeth. You held on the side railings, hoping it would support you up if you fell.

Even with your efforts, it was obvious you were freezing.

Sunghoon noticed this, “are you cold?” He asked.

“W-what? no,” you said stuttering from the chill of the air.

Sunghoon quirked an eyebrow, “stop lying, your nose and ears are so red, plus your shivering,” he pointed out.

“No! I’m not, really!” And as if on cue, you sneezed three times in a row.

Sunghoon sighed, but he knew it was coming, at one point or another.

“Do you wanna go home? I could make a warm drink or soup?” Sunghoon said tilting his head to the side.

“Sure..” you muttered.

You laid in bed to frozen to move a muscle, when Sunghoon came in with a bowl of hot soup.

You thought he would’ve lectured you or said “I told you so”, but he didn’t.

Here he was, taking care of your stubborn self, taking care of your health, risking his own just by being near you.

He laid in bed with you, soothed you to sleep, warmed your cold body, and took care of you at your lowest.

Your so called sickness didn’t stop him from giving you ginger kisses on you bridge, nose, or lips.

And although you liked Sunghoon pampering and taking care of you, those stomach aches and headaches were not worth the trouble.
