my dudes, now that haru's been left out in the dark, gets pushed away and learned about an unfolding mystery... there's no way he'd sit still and do nothing. he'll do what he can to help. and IF those theories are correct, where some other kambe or some high profile asshole is out there trying to nuke daisuke's ass for investigating and they find out haru's also meddling with the case (an outsider)...then there's a possibility he'll get targeted too? I know that this may seem unwise and very naive of him, but I think it's Haru's way of wanting to prove himself because of his trauma and overall, he's just a really good and helpful guy. His decision making will play a crucial role in the upcoming episodes and it's up to Daisuke how he will react to that - will he accept help or keep pushing Haru away? But Haru's trust could possibly break him too...like with cho-san when he learned that he plays dirty tricks to get some answers. What more if he learns that Daisuke is the same? will he still trust him or will it completely disillusion him to the point of turning back and leaving? haru's been caught up in the middle of things he doesn't even know about that he's desperate to get some answers.

or if he meddles in more, he'll lose his badge and his job to help daisuke. but he trusts him...that no matter what kind of method daisuke will use to get answers, haru will stand by him and his decisions, no matter how questionable they are. 🤔

possible ending routes:

- happy ending! (everyone likes that)

- one of them dies(no)/one of them seriously gets hurt

- one quits while the other one stays

- daisuke disappears (or fakes his own death or goes back to England)/haru gets promoted

with the rollercoaster that was episode 6, I appreciate the moments we had with Haru. Man, the guy really has trusted Daisuke since then, huh? and with the direction of the plot and Daisuke's character arc, I feel quite nervous and relieved at the same time about that trust Haru has on Daisuke? Nervous because Daisuke has made it clear that he doesn't want Haru to stick his nose in his business because it's either very personal for him or he doesn't want Haru to be involved in the mess that's about to come - maybe he trusts Haru too, but he has to drive him away to protect him. But knowing Haru and his sense for justice and just wanting to genuinely help, he'll obviously involve himself...maybe with dire consequences. Relieved because maybe that trust Haru has on Daisuke will save both of them in the end. Maybe when Daisuke's spiraling down on a dark path, Haru's trust will snap him out of that thought. "I have faith in you" that's what Haru said to him.

I just don't want any of them to get hurt...but after reading theories and the possibilities (with 5 episodes left?!), anything is bound to happen. Either one of them gets hurt as they get deeper into solving the cold case of 1998 and it'll be pretty bad for the other end, the one who gets saved. I think episode 4 will have a huge impact on the story too, when we have both of them stripped out of their uniforms and be colleagues or even friends even for just a day? Daisuke has learned so much from Haru and Haru has seen this "vulnerable" side of Daisuke that only his family has seen. I hope it'll affect the plot somehow, seeing as Daisuke will have to make a very important decision in the end. The thought of Daisuke succumbing into madness as he tries to solve that cold case and Haru being there to keep him in line, or serve as a reminder that he'll get though this with some help, really gives a nice ring to the word "partners".

eps. 1-4 was the most crucial part of the series as it built the foundation of their relationship. ep. 5 onwards will put that "trust" to the test. Episode 6 alone was plot heavy, what alone could the next episode bring?

i love how the theories keep coming up for fkbul, like how daisuke asked to be specifically placed in the mcptf so he can "investigate" what happened to his past involving his family, etc...and i bet he swore to himself that he'll never get emotionally involved with them and just get the job done but joke's on him - Katou Haru is there. And I think their relationship will deepen, get each other to open up, maybe they'll even consider each other as friends at one point. But whatever Daisuke's investigating (ehem cho-san) it'll involve Haru at some point and maybe there will be a test of friendship/partnership but they will work it out in the end eventually. Episode 4 was the "pivot", now we get to see the characters' backgrounds a little bit deeper.

so uh yeah, they gave us fluff early to make way for the angst in the upcoming episodes?!??? idk but I wish they'll balance it out (pun not intended) have fluff at the same time daisuke doing what he's supposed to be doing...and maybe when haru starts noticing, or even find out the "truth", the test of friendship/partnership begins and they face that truth together

So what if, daisuke's the one who got hurt...taking a bullet meant for Haru. Daisuke just acts on his own and shields Haru. He gets hospitalized and Haru is left to swim on his own guilt and the trauma he had resurfaces, but this time, it's someone close to him. His own partner. Daisuke doesn't wake up for 3 months and in those times, Haru decides to leave his work. Indefinitely or Forever? only time will tell. The others try to talk him out of it, but Haru sticks with his decision. One last thing he does is visit Daisuke, tell him he's sorry along with a thank you and a goodbye. He talks to HEUSC next, requests for the AI to never reveal his location to Daisuke - IF he looks for him of course - and he is gone.

Daisuke wakes on the first day of Spring, much to the delight of his family. He doesn't get discharged for another month, but when he does, he goes straight back to work. No one in the office mentions anything...just that he's been assigned a new, younger partner on the job. He starts to ask everyone, but in lieu of Haru's wishes, they keep quiet. Daisuke seeks HEUSC next, but even his trusty AI butler has nothing to give. It lasts for half a year.

Daisuke finds Haru the next Summer. Far off on a lonely countryside. He works part time at a daycare center and a small restaurant just 2 blocks away. Daisuke says finding him wasn't easy since he has to manually search for a person who doesn't want to be found. Surprisingly, the bite on Haru's voice is gone. He's leaner now too, and looks much younger. Haru simply repeats what he said on Daisuke's bedside a year ago. Sorry. Thank you. but he repeats his apology over and over until he's shaking with grief and relief at the same time. He gets surprised by a gentle hand on his back that lifts him up, and a genuine smile from Kambe Daisuke.

"Make me one of your home recipes. I'm hungry" Daisuke teases. And for the first time in a long while, Haru laughs.

He's got his partner back.

Ben Solo is fine.

thinking about ben solo. he lives btw. he's fine. ben solo is fine. our boi is ok. he's traveling somewhere maybe on a journey to repent for the sins of kylo ren but he'll be back. he has to. he's still the great pilot like his dad - and maybe he'll be able to fly the falcon with lando or chewie? after everything goes back to normal. yeah, that sounds nice. he'll be able to show everyone that he indeed is han solo's son; acts and moves like him too. but there's also a reflection of leia in him, he's stubborn to do what he thinks is right and charges forward without fear. he's sassy and sarcastic when he needs to be. smart and cunning. yep, han and leia's son alright. he's skilled with both a blaster and a lightsaber, his skywalker blood flowing proudly within him. yeah, THAT ben solo. he's a good guy, and tries to be better everyday. he sure misses his mom and dad a lot but he knows they're always with him. he feels they're always close by. maybe one of these days, his mom, uncle and even grandfather would come to visit? their force ghosts are always there so he just waits. maybe one day. and oh, he's also a prince! twice royalty. his grandmom padme was a great role model and so is his mom leia; badass royalties with hearts so pure. so yeah, ben solo is doing good. we don't know where he is right now but surely he's off on a planet somewhere. he's healthy and young and free and loved. ben solo is fine because he is finally who he is.
