Love when artists put "reblogging for the morning crowd!" "Reblogging for the weekend crowd!" in the tags to justify reblogging their own art. But lets not lie to ourselves anymore. Im reblogging for the exact same crowd i just need them to know i mean business. Im reblogging for the didn't take a hint the first time crowd. Reblogging for the crowd that needs to understand i spent 20 hours on this.
once again inspiration has struck me! && once again it involved the dca and vocaloid. i was rewatching the vid for Love Love Nightmare, and the crawling part reminded me of Moon...and then i decided to do Even More!
HEHEHEH THANK U BESTIE!!!
9. What are your file name conventions?
oh baby theyre a mess. whenever i draw on pc i just spam my keyboard even though id love to go through em all and rename them by number and then a brief title/description for the piece. i might do that some day
14. Any favorite motifs?
EYES!!! EYES EYES EYES!!! i love adding weird things with eyes into my characters and art pieces!!!! ive enjoyed drawing eyes ever since i was little and i love doing stuff with eyes. giggles
29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically.
tbh it might sound silly but finger painting is really really fun i do it when im stressed and have paints available. like the pieces never look good but i never really finger paint to make something pretty i just finger paint whatever because its fun
So Andie is Stanley’s lil sister! She’s inspired by the lil drawing in the hallways of the Zending that I’m spinning into an actual character and not a reference to another game :]
I imagine that she’s prooobably around 10 to 12 years old? While I HC Stanley to be somewhere in his early 30s. She loves bugs okay they’re like her favorite thing in the entire world. She will stop whatever she’s doing if she finds a bug and she’ll sit there and stare at it, and if Stanley’s around she’ll ask him what kind of bug it is (if she doesn’t already know) and if he doesn’t know he’ll help her find out. (Which kinda Sucks for Stanley since he’s a lil squeamish, but has definitely gotten better w/bugs because of Andie and also because he’d do anything for her anyways.) it’s her special interest :) she has a bunch of books on bugs and draws them on the corners of her papers. She’s snuck little pill bugs into the house on multiple occasions.
She’s very outdoorsy in general too, and there’s numerous times where Stanley had been heading out to go to work and had to take at least 20 mins coaxing Andie out of a tree...<3 which is usually fruitless bc whenever he gets back Home she’s hanging out in one again. Sometimes, on particularly hard days he joins her up there. Whether it’s with a cup of coffee or a book or empty handed he finds himself enjoying it, even if Its not entirely silent bc of Andie. Also, Stanley is the one to dye Andie’s hair for her :’J
She’s also probably a lil bit of a troublemaker, but never means any true harm. Think of how Stanley likes to push the narrator’s buttons—she also gets a kick outta messing with people like that. Like, occasionally Stanley couldn’t leave Andie at home for one reason or another so he’d need to bring her to work with him and one of his coworkers would be like “aw, well aren’t you a little darling” and then she’d grin and pull the largest spider you’ve ever seen out of her pockets.
While Stanley is entirely mute, Andie is selectively mute. She knows sign language though, and was in the process of being taught more of it by Stanley (but was so kindly interrupted by the parable...) Whatever Stanley and Andie’s home life was, which I’m leaving vague on purpose, their parents were not there Much. Stanley was practically raising her on his own, and Andie liked him more Anyways — Stanley was just worried that he wouldn’t know how to take care of someone else besides himself, but he eventually got the hang of it. Also, Mariella has probably babysat her occasionally, so Andie’s familiar with her as well.
Though, in like...current times now with the whole Parable, Stanley doesn’t remember Andie. I feel like Stanley would get like brief flashes and memories of what was Before the parable and very rarely he’d see someone who looked eerily like Andie, but he’d never be able to place a name or a story to the figure. There’s probably some assets in the parable the narrator has that Also look a lil like Andie but he’s clueless + if he ever used those assets, the unavoidable freak out Stanley would have would come as a genuine shock to him. (Plus narrator would probably assume Andie’s his kid before his sister.)
