For someone of usually so many words, Vero's reply is short as can be. Easily explained by the fact this argument has been going for an hour now. Really, were it anyone but Willy, she might have bound them tighter and gagged them.

"You don't even know who I was! What I did! And I can do it all again if you don't let me see-"

"No."

Willy, intangible as he can usually be, can't shake the chains wrapping around and inside him. It is, after all, the power of one who's taken the mantle of guardian of the dead, capable of binding, imprisoning, and ruling over those who've crossed this plane. No ghost can escape Vero's rule, and as such, she can allow herself to lounge in the living room of Piraticus as Willy continues to struggle pointlessly, both waiting for one of his dormmates to come back with an antidote.

"Once the effect of the potion has passed, you'll thank me for this."

"LIKE HELL I WILL-"

"You will, and the object of your so called affections will too."

"HGN..."

With a final tug, Willy slumps forward to regain his breath, or lack of thereof. Vero spares him but a single look. She'd be lying if she said her own chest didn't suffer pangs of hurt at seeing Willy so eager for another, but she knows better. Mind over the heart, as always, she reminds herself. And so her hand remains stable as she pours another cup of tea.

"If you bore of throwing tantrums, you're welcome to have tea as well."

"GO TO HELL."

"Home? So soon? If only!"

If there is something Willy will remember after the potion passes, it will be the overly smug smile that Vero has plastered on, not that she'll ever admit to it.

It's not like inspiration was overflowing, really, given the half written page in front of Andersen. So he couldn't quite call Hel a distraction, no matter how tightly she was holding onto his arm.

There's a shift in her posture that alerts Andersen, and before Hel can lean further in with that mischievous glint in her eyes, he puts a hand on her head to both pat her and keep her lips at bay. For the third time.

"Kujaku is taking her sweet fucking time with that antidote... I swear to god..."

"I feel fine!" The pout on Hel is quite, really cute. Andersen's expression doesn't budge. "Really! I'm not sick! But, if I was..."

"If you say the cure is a kiss I'm throwing myself off the window."

"I wasn't going to say that! And don't joke about that! I'd throw myself right after you and save you ❤"

The sentence is punctuated by Hel leaning her head against his shoulder, effectively trapping him in place. There's no snappy retort, just a sigh as Andersen shifts to free more of his feather collar for Hel to lean in on.

"..I was going to say that, if I was sick, I would be happy to see you so worried over me."

Hel lets out a girlish laugh, closing her eyes as if imagining the scene in her head. It's a good thing depending on who you ask, since it lets her miss the way color has risen to Andersen's face.

Andersen doesn't have grand aspirations of legacy. Even his name is borrowed, after all, so nothing engraved within is his. There's no point trying to control how others will see you, right? As long as he did what he wanted he'll be satisfied. But if he could choose, if at least one person enjoyed his stories, found meaning behind them, even just one... then that alone is enough.

Minami is a bit more complicated since it requires modern stuff, or equivalents. Tbh I'd like to play more with her Avenger in FGO idea but brain empty.

The Great Witch Anella, mistress of all magics, of golden blood blessed by the sun itself. Anella is a workaholic who has never stopped researching magic, that MUST be how people remember her. A lifetime of achievements in transmutation, potions, poisons, sacred and profane rituals alike. Sure, she had some petty spats now and then, but centuries of work count more!

Overall, no. Terrible at lying in the spot. Why would she want to be a good liar anyways? Why does she owe anyone the skill to lie instead of saying things as they are? No, someone of her station shouldn't lie, because it shows both cowardice and powerlessness.

... means she sucks at surprise parties tho.

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

WELL. obvs her inspiration is Cerberus. First thing was her sense of loyalty and duty, that of a guard with a task that takes all eternity to fulfill.

She was a sorta foil for Idia, specially with her starting at Ignihyde but holding traditional values. Pretty sure from the start I wanted to play around Vero being neither fully Cerberus (loyal dog with a lord) or Persephone (Idia's sweetheart bound by fate). I like them best as being connected by fate platonically tbh. Vero was someone who resented Idia being above her despite her being more capable, the injustice of fate being decided before they were born, and all her accomplishments being unable to surpass that. Now that she's in Ryxabyss her chapter is very much about her surpassing those limits, refusing to bow to not to Idia (who frankly never saw her below him anyways) but Olympus as a whole. Using chaos to establish a new rule.

🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?

That anyone she cares about has died. She's been surrounded by death since she was born, and knows it'll happen one day, but any preparation pales to real life. After all, she does technically have the power to bring them back. She could. But she mustn't. It's a new layer of grief.

🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?

Minami's a pretty good liar, in short bursts. As her social battery drains she becomes more likely to slip up or just doesn't care anymore. It's easy to tell when she's slipping, but do you wanna press it? She'll just tell you to go fuck yourself.

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

I wanted a pink dorm.

.... AHSADKJFDKJD FR I really wanted to use that shade of pink, so went looking for candidates. A friend is very into GF and I remembered GIFFany. Rewatching the episode I was like, trying to see things from her perspective, and ended feeling for her. Having a depressed man use your time and energy to feel better and then when he's recovered ignoring you is not that uncommon 💀

So first thing was that I REALLY didn't want to make her the topical yandere japanese highschool girl like. come on. 🙄 So I decided she's not yandere, she has justified yet excessive anger issues. Her "sweet facade" is just trying to pass as normal, so people don't gossip about her. Not "I want to kill you because I love you" but "I want to kill you because you don't even think I'm capable of love, of grief, of being hurt."

🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?

A joke about her being unfeeling or stonefaced like a robot. It brings up trauma from being bullied as a child, so it gets you on her shit list immediately. Would push you in front of a bus on a bad day type of hate.

It's also why only Jojo can call her "Ai". Because she knows Jojo isn't making an "artificial intelligence" jab at her and only, truly means it as a nickname for "Airi." And it still cost a whole ass argument to get that privilege lol

Vero isn't that hard to fluster tbh! Intimate gestures and romantic words take her by surprise, and she's terrible at hiding her reactions. More sweet flirting works better than shameless "i want something out of you" type of flirting, which gets her heart racing with anger on top of the flustering.

🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?

Pre-Ryxabyss/Ignihyde chapter nothing in particular. That everything will be okay, to not worry as much about the future.

Post both chapters, she'd ask her younger self be softer on Idia. Then again, they both were kids going through traumatic situations. It's on their adult selves to fix how they acted.

There is one taboo for the Guardia Family. To never bring back someone who's crossed into their Underworld. The place where ghost who can't depart yet gather.

There was only one time Vero not only thought, but committed herself to break that taboo, much like her elder sister had done and lost her title of heiress over. And that was when Vero went there as a child, searching for Ortho. But, he was nowhere there. Idia's guilt shackled both of them in place, unable to move. What Vero saw while looking for him traumatized her to an extent, but it also set in stone her principles. She would change the unfairness she had seen in the Underworld so all souls could rest in peace, and learn to let go onto a better plane properly. So one day when Ortho is freed and able to reach the place her family guards, he can enjoy a respite and depart this world with a smile.

That was where the rift formed between them. Idia called her coldblooded for telling, pleading him to move on from Ortho, and Vero felt he was much the same as the rest of the Olympus family, unwilling to listen to reason or see past themselves, looking down on her family.

Conrad doesn't always steal things! He's more than happy to pay for quality artisan work (with some rich person's money he stole). This includes good swords, so he and Polaris have gone shopping together for swords.

Ruby absolutely HATES goopy stuff touching her. But on one adventure she ruined her shirt to catch a small slime monster that reminded her of Malvina's cooking abominations, but cuter and less out-for-blood. Brought it to her as a present!

Because they're both so old, Nero and Orion often talk about where they were during certain historical moments. Turns out they probably ran past each other a couple times! The world is truly small.

Ali isn't that fond of Amateia, because the mermaid's fantastical magic leaves random obstacles for Ali on the astral plane and makes it VERY hard to navigate. It's pure frustration. (get it?)

The "world beyond" that Minami can see is not the astral plane Ali can enter, as that is just the underside of their reality. If either could open up about their weird visions, it would lead to interesting conversations. If.

Most people think of Vero as very harsh, which she can be, but every time she's found a spaced out and lost Ali, Vero has helped her and shown concern, even stopping others from picking on her. Ali knows Vero is a softie.

Whenever Cat and Ali cuddle, Cat will purr and Ali will imitate the purr as best she can! She just started doing it one day and it stuck.

Antares has noticed butterflies make their way into the greenhouse now and then. It happens when Ali wanders nearby, they just follow her.

Students theorize if you fused Ali, who's always sleeping, and Nemo, who seems to never sleeps, you'd get the perfect sleep cycle.

In the astral plane Ali can see a small dragon around Thalia, a remnant of her earrings and necklace.

Nezumi was interested in Ali for a while at first, but after being unable to gauge her potential, and Ali's starting therapy session with the vice principal Grimcrawl herself, Nezumi lost part of the interest.

After Mildred walks by, sometimes, she leaves little sprouts of white daisies in the astral plane. Ali's noticed them, but hasn't made the relation yet.

Whenever Ali gets close to Beebo while she's in the astral plane, things get... weird. Psychedelic, colorful but scrambled, like something out of this world. Weird.
