He could not have chosen a more convincing argument to try and sway her, like he had taken her wrist in hand and pushed hard against the pulse point. The longing that his words caused to flare in her heart. Gods did she want it, she wanted it desperately. To be together for eternity, bound in Leutha`tala, her thiramin forever by her side… but they would not be who they are now.

She looked at him, studied him intensely, taking every detail of his profile and hoarding it jealously in her memories. How would he change, how would she? What pantheon would they embody, what trait or desire would wipe away their hearts and personalities leaving them the personification of an ideal, with no room to grow together.

I just added chapter 13 of my ongoing story about Gale X Tav/OC! I'm so proud of myself for writing something substantial like this. Crazy stuff in my mind. :)

He wrapped his arms around her tightly, pulling her close, pressing his cheek against the coolness of her skin and scales. He breathed deeply of her familiar scent, spiced vanilla, sweat and the dampness of the river she had just returned from. Eventually the shivers abated, his breathing returned to normal, the nausea settled, and his thoughts were once again his own. He felt wrung out, his muscles sore and aching. Weak and useless. The crown. The crown would be his salvation, their salvation. It had to be.

This poster took me a week to make and I'm so happy with it!! Definitely learned some things transferring book cover design skills over to a poster but it was fun!
