i assume when they made their company they looked at the risk factors, and when you notice patreon and advertising, and even merch, doesnt bring in as much money as it used to, you dont hire people you cannot pay.

so instead if maybe scaling down production—like focussing on things that does get viewed or received well, or maybe spend less on things they can do without so they can keep paying their employees so they dont need to be laid off, a streaming site is created putting everything behind a paywall and some already existing content might disappear as well and can only be accessed for 6 usd a month, which no doesnt sound like much to someone

but their audience demographic is what late teens early 30s, largely college students who binge the content who already dont have a steady income, who might have to pay top dollar for their own housing, for their food because fuck me everything is expensive and it keeps getting worse.

and 6 usd may not seem much, but to some its not usd to some its euro or pound and each month it can flux from high to low.

which might also be a reason why patreon didnt do well—that and lack of promotion i feel— but if people werent willing to pay for patreon which expert told them that this would be a better financial choice to help their income for everyone at their company.

why should it be the audience responsibility to provide an income? yes its been free for decade and most probably have taken that for granted, but none of the audience forced them to create this company, to force them to hire employees or force them to make tv quality content most if not all remembered text on a screen and a voice over

its their company, and their decisions regarding it. i do feel bad for the employees because they are the ones to suffer when ceos make bad decisions but it should not be the audience responsibility to help them fix that

i didnt say it is, i said thats what it FEELS like to ME. its their responsibility as it was when they started hiring people. i suppose i am used more to people being laid off or scale down production when business doesnt do well so the company can invest that money to built itself up again

i cannot be a victim here because nothing of value is taken from me nor do i give a rats ass honestly what they do

This old creep of a man, married a woman and forced her to have as many children as she could. She had Rhaenyra who was born healthy, but due to her not being born a boy, Viserys pushed Aemma to have 5 more babies.

One who died in the cradle, two stillbirths and two miscarriages.

He was so sure that he wanted a second child, a boy, that he was willing to sacrifice his wife for him. Yet they both died.

Alicent

He then went on to marry another young truly innocent girl. Don’t even think about coming at me with the whole false accusation “Alicent seduced him” because you sound like a predator making excuses to blame a child for an adults actions.

He forced her to have 4 more children, 3 of which were boys… yet he never cared nor paid attention to any of them whilst growing up. This left Alicent to raise her children single-handedly.

These two woman, both victims of Viserys’ carelessness, had several children, and at the end of it all, only Rhaenyra, 1 out of 10 children, was labeled as his child.

This isn’t disrespectful to just Aegon, Aemond, Helaena and Daeron. It’s disrespectful to the 5 dead children he had with Aemma, Aemma herself, and Alicent.

Don’t have more than one child if your not capable of loving more than one. Even better: don’t force two woman to carry your children if your only going to love one…

I feel like its always going to be a never ending circle of arguments and here is why;

Rhaenyra represents the chosen Heir, appointed by the King, sworn to by the Lords of the time

Aegon represents the lawful Heir, the Andal law is in his favour and the King never changed it, born after his sister was made Heir

“Rhaenyra is the eldest, she should be heir”

—yea, in western modern monarchy she would be without doubt as it should be, but Westeros lives under medieval monarchy rules, also some laws are very unclear to us still in asoiaf

“The lords swore to Rhaenyra”

—yes but most of them at the start of the Dance had passed away or didn’t think their 20+ year old vow still held as more children had been born to Viserys

“Aegon was always meant to be the Heir”

—i mean it was the reason Alicent wed Viserys, for the Heir but Viserys kept his choice(he should have changed the law to support it imo) in 20+ years he never changes it and Aegon never assumes he should be.

“What brother takes his sister’s throne”

“Rhaenyra would have killed the Green kids”

—i think Daemon would have, Rhaenyra tried to get them to Dragonstone before the events of Storm’s End and the whole eye for eye, and Helaena in the books even planned on going with the Maester but was stopped.

in my opinion everything would have been better if Viserys wasn’t weak. He should have cared a little more for the other children and never let Alicent or Otto have that much power in court they were able to make Aegon Heir and drive off Rhaenyra.

as for the arguments; its fictional people acts like this is happening in real time or something and get let people enjoy fictional characters. if you like rhaenyra good for you, if you like aegon enjoy yourself the one thing i think we should all agree on is the actors of either side are doing a great job and it should be appreciated
