I’m trying anyway to get this out there and shared.

So I’m still trying to keep the donation train going for the Hermits x Gamers Outreach cause honestly we’re not terribly far off from a total of a million, and the donation link still works.

This is my Twitter shared version (there’s one on here too if you would check that out at some point too)

I’m really bad with the algorithm on Twitter so I’m trying to see if I can get some of y’all’s help in spreading it there since I can gain some traction here.

I just want us to come together as a community to cross the gap to a million to make Scar and a bunch of kids happy. Plus how insane of a story would it be to finish making it to a million without anybody but the community itself involved.

What’s truly incredible to me is that amount of money is double the amount of the original charity stream in under double the amount of time. Like a whole hour under what would’ve been double

Scar didn’t underestimate the community as much this time.

Ok, so, with the whole Hermitcraft desk set up thing that went down I feel like it'd be really funny to share mine and see what people think cause mine definitely ain't the most conventional

So here's an image of it with what I consider important marked:

Here's a look inside the shoebox- ahem- laptop dock/cord container:

Explanations:

The notecard taped to my laptop is to limit glare on the camera caused by the light right above it

The holes I poked into the lid are for better/faster ventilation

There are 2 holes and 1 dent stabbed into the box for cord flow (1 hole and 1 dent on the right and 1 hole in the back- the hole on the left came that way)

The thing I'm holding in my hand is 1/3 stabilizers I recently made to help support the weight of the laptop (to hopefully keep the box in good quality)

The cords that are in the box currently are my charging cord. HDMI cord (for the monitor), unused microphone cord, and the power cord for the 4 USB ports under my monitor

I normally don't hide my taskbar (like it is in the photo), but I didn't feel like hiding things on it for the photo (this line made you go back to look at the photo, didn't it? ha)

People messing with Doc is my favorite thing. Cause the only thing keeping him from destroying the entire server is self restraint.

Doc is the definition of “I prevented a murder today.” “Oh how?” “Self restraint.”

Especially when it’s people who don’t understand the totality of his capabilities. Like Skizz. He straight up threatened the man to his face.

You can never know what he’s going to do as he can just come up with an entirely new game breaking way to destroy a person.

Ok so it all started with this stream from Shubble:

I haven’t watched it myself but essentially it’s her talking about being abused, but she doesn’t name names. I would watch it to get the full context.

But then Twitter took it and started suspecting Wilbur. Which did get a bunch of people mad since there were twice as many tweets about him than tweets is support of Shubble.

5 days later Wilbur responded with this:

Which a lot of people have jumped on for being a terrible “apology” and super disingenuous.

Also this was the community made not on the post:

Not everyone who’s been close to Wilbur have dropped him or responded yet. Some notably being Tommy, Philza, and Quackity. Tommy has said that he will respond when he’s ready. For Philza: he doesn’t use Twitter anymore and he’s also supposedly out of the country. Quackity I don’t know anything about.

This was Shelby’s response to Wilbur’s response:

Funny enough this Wilbur situation has brought back the entire DSMP community and united it. Like Tommy stans and Dream stans are working together to destroy Wilbur. Dream made a better apology for something he didn’t do than Wilbur did.

I know my account is mostly Hermitcraft, and I don’t want to be sucked back into the drama of the DSMP, but I already sort of have been, and I have things I want to share about this “revelation”. If you don’t want to see or know, don’t look.

I was never all that affected by Dream because I never cared about him or his content. To be honest I could never separate him from his DSMP character, but Wilbur was a creator I looked up to, and still sort of do. I’m trying to come to terms with what’s happened and I’m struggling with it.

I DO NOT support or agree with anything he did. He is an abuser and a bad person and I will not deny it.

I’m just kind of stuck in the denial stage of grief because I don’t want more of the great memories of that time to be tarnished, but it’s too late for that.

I know this situation sucks, and I know the main victims deserve the support, but as viewers we were also victims of the manipulative facade. It’s ok to be frustrated and hurt. It’s ok to not want to let go of the good memories. It’s ok to not be ok because of this.

Again, I don’t condone anything he’s done. He’s a greedy, vile person. If you defend him, get out.
