Day 2 : Bad Ending @vanweek2024

I'm gonna be real I ended up not liking the final piece for this and lowkey preferred the sketches cuz I ended up finishing most off it before my brain said eewww because I didn't like my current Vanessa design!! I love her but I cannot draw blonde ppl for the life off me goodness!!!

Basically a bad end for Vanessa for me is that she ends up giving Glitchtrap what he wants and ends up taking over by him against her will becoming the new main villain. Not being able to be saved as her humanity gets ripped away from her. Like some people want Vanessa to take over as the villain but would Ness herself want that? To be a servant that killed these missing people not being able to do anything but watch.

I honestly like the fact that you made this ending but I think it's too rushed. For example, I like in a story that the place, the characters and expressions and the dialogues are well explained. So my advice is that you describe more because good descriptions give information that dialogues cannot (but don't go overboard because otherwise you will overload the reader and they may get bored) 😉

Another thing you can do to improve is to separate the dialogues of character and character since as it is now it is very chaotic and you can barely distinguish who is speaking 😉

Gregory paces around the atrium before eyeing his destination. Racing towards Fazer blast, Gregory, sprinting a little too fast, trips over his shoelaces, alerting Roxy of his location. He dashed through the neon lit corners, Jumping over the dividers, running towards the secret door. He dashed past the corner, sweeping into the steam tunnels. "YOU THINK YOU CAN OUTRUN ME?!" Yelled Roxy as Gregory sprinted over to a cart, hiding him. Roxy looks for him, pummeling a security bot and ripping off it's skull. "Come out, come out wherever you are..." "Shit, shit!" Gregory whispered. She walked right past the hiding spot, complaining about her hair being ruined. He paces forward, and peeks at Roxy, but she hears his breathing. Roxy growls before lunging at him, but missing by afar. she crashes into the power box, shutting down all the lights of fazer blast. "Heheheee..." Says a familiar voice, standing behind Gregory. He freezes in place, and hears a chainsaw start up. He runs as fast as his little legs can take him, before being apprehended by the map bot. "Map. Map. Map." "Oh will you shut up?" Gregory says before shoving it over. He then reaches the staircase leading up to her hideout. He sprints along the catwalks, and enters the room. He sees a picture of Vanessa standing with a figure, their side of the picture stabbed with a knife. He then spots the princess quest 3 cabinet, and Gregory remembers. That's where it resides. that's how it took over everything. He ran over to the cabinet, And jammed in a quarter. He began to play through the game as normal, but then... he encountered a purple key. He then returns to the pirate's cove area, then opens the door. He finds a door, a gray one with a green lock. He uses the key, and opens the door. The screen displays an error message. He looks out the window, and sees a mask on the ground, along with a costume and a chainsaw. The nightmare bots are also powered off. He did it. He saved her from it. He saved it from himself. He heard a familiar voice call from the exit. "You coming or not, squirt?" Gregory's headache stopped, his muscles stopped tensing, his breathing turned slower. "Sure..." He said, shrugging it off, trying to force himself to forget everything that happened. "I know it's hard, but you're free now. Get a breath of fresh air. Feel free to feel alive." A tear slipped from Gregory's eye. "I'm finally released from the shackles." "I don't have to listen to him anymore." "I am alive." His smile widened. "This can't be real." "I-" He said, holding back tears. "he's gone. That's all that matters."

A side note- Feel free to comment with constructive criticism, cuz I'm not good with writing prompts and I want to improve :D

A little question about DHeusta's new song

I just saw the incredible Fnaf song that DHeusta made, but there is something that is not very clear to me and that is whether Cassie manages to reach the elevator in the end. I say this because when Mimic hits the elevator we see a small hand, so I don't know very well if she can get there. I really hope she has but I'm not sure if she has.

The Brazil Ending and the sadness it brings with it

This is one of the 3 Ruin endings where after being attacked by Mimic we do not pay attention to Gregory's instructions. Cassie runs until she finds a cutout of Freddy or Fredbear (I still don't know exactly which of the two it is since the Fredbear design on the Fredbear's Family Dinner posters is very similar to this one but it could also be Freddy). There she can put the mask back on and see an idyllic landscape for her at that moment while she hyperbentilates and hears "Gregory's" voice.

But why do I consider this ending so sad? Well, because Cassie in this ending has stopped trusting when she sees that this being has imitated Gregory's voice. That's why she runs desperately without listening to Gregory's instructions since she thinks he is trying to trick her again. She flees and arrives where the cut-out is, something that makes her feel better, wishing with all her soul to be able to be somewhere other than that, achieving it by putting on her mask. She now sees a glitched fiction where she is happy with Gregory, Vanessa and Helpi while she tries to calm down and listens to Gregory. However, this time she does not distrust Gregory's voice and lets herself be carried away by the thought of being in that idyllic place.

Now how do we know that what she sees is false? There are several clues, the first being the name of the ending itself since it is a clear reference to an old movie called "Brazil" where the protagonist is kidnapped and is going to be tortured but at the last moment he is saved and ends in a happy ending. Well, this would be what one would think but the last scene of the film reveals that he has imagined everything about his rescue and that even though he is tortured he has decided to mentally escape from that reality to live a mental fiction. This makes a lot of sense if we transport it to Ruin where Cassie is so desperate to escape that situation that she escapes that reality by putting on the mask and seeing a much happier one.

Other things that show that it is false are: how glitched the image at the end looks, Cassie's hyperbentilation and the phrase from "Gregory" that we hear. This is a repetition of a phrase that Mimic told us in the past to trick us, being this: "Cassie, I'm ok. I found a sport to hide." This phrase makes very little sense in this situation and it is obvious that Mimic is fooling us again.

Why would Mimic try to trick us again? Mimic in the epilogues of Tales from the Pizzaplex tries to fool the young people once and so he tries it again even though they already discovered that one of his abilities is to imitate the voice. This makes it clear to us that Mimic tries to deceive its victims with the same tricks even though they have already been discovered. This would be why he says this phrase to make Cassie believe that everything is fine while he approaches her and kills her. Well, that is a possibility but the second is the one that most people believe and that is that with this ending it is implied that Cassie fell under his control.

This is quite supported by the fact that the image is glitched, wanting to tell us that wearing the mask for so long has made it possible for him to control us.

Another possible proof of this is the title change in Security Breach Files 2 (yes, I know this book is full of errors and I complained about this one but maybe this name change makes sense… Or maybe I'm trying to see it something good for a book with many errors… In any case I leave the information here). In this book there is a part that is only Ruin's and more specifically one at the end. Well, here the name of this ending is not "Brazil Ending" but "Safe Spot Ending", which agrees with the phrase that Mimic says at the end of this where he claims that he found a place to hide. This hiding place would be Cassie's mind because she has taken complete control of it.

The latest about Security Breach Files 2 is more of a theory and I would take it with a grain of salt because of what I have said before. However, I wanted to mention it since in the future when the errors in this book are corrected it may not change and it may have this meaning (although it could also be because Cassie finds a place to hide in the mask but it seems to me that it would be more in line with what was said by Mimic).

Lastly, mention two things. The first is that if Mimic tries to take over his mind in this ending, why wouldn't he do it in the elevator ending? I am in favor of saying that it was not Gregory who threw the elevator but it was Mimic and that with this what he did was make it seem that Gregory betrayed him in order to have her under his control and thus turn her into the "lying child" of one of the Candy Cadet story from Help Wanted 2.

The second goes more with the title of this post and that is that I feel that it must be horrible to trust someone completely and then discover that it was of no use. And now that she is in mortal danger and her friend tries to help her, she doesn't trust herself, not knowing if he is the real Gregory or if she is being deceived again. And on top of that, supposedly ending up being controlled by the thing that deceived her and made her lose trust in everything.

I know it's been a long time since Ruin left but I needed to talk about this ending. Now, this is my opinion and if there is something that you don't think the same, that's okay because all opinions are important.

was thinking last night about the direction the fnaf story is going and I was thinking about vanny cassie. like vanny cassie would be such a perfect villain because it brings vanny back to the spotlight and cassie has a connection to Gregory as a friend.

her arc would be so tragic in every way and she wouldnt know what or who to believe. she would believe she was abandoned by Gregory again (in this case he didnt cut the elevator) like all her friends and her dad did and that vanny is a friend. both manipulation and supernatural mind control stuff like glitchtrap did to vanessa to create vanny.

and 3 stars could be the protags in a post hw2 dlc game that's big and free roam story like sb. I think Gregory would be a better choice as player because he would have the best reason to chase after cassie; shes his friend. vanessa would be very important also because like. Vannys back. and now she has a family and another kid shes gonna fight like hell for.

"the family missed the greatest opportunity of their lives" vanessa didnt destroy vanny glitchtrap and mimic when she should have, and now they're back. and she isnt gonna run away scared this time. shell finally end them for good

and also Vannys motivation. since vanny killed glitchtrap (probably to take his place as big bad bunny virus) this makes you wonder why shes doing this. we dont know why glitchtrap did it either so I guess the same reason as him. shes supposed to be reluctant tho so? idk what's changed. but we'll go with building the monarchy evil pyramid back up

so vanny would be trying to get all of the followers back, or maybe shes still following mimics orders and it wants them back. could have a potential rebellion plot from vanny at the end but that's besides my point

the point is itd be such a fun spot to reveal ggy. Vanessa's been hiding it from Gregory to protect him, maybe freddy too, and Gregory has no idea and just knows he has tons of memory loss. hes moved past it to live his new life, but after doing all this to get Cassie back, it turns out vanny wants all the followers back and hey, why is she talking about 2?? who is dr rabbit?? why is she after me??

I just think theres a lot of potential in a plot like that for all characters. Vanessa's arc as vanny is already so interesting but cassie has an obviously very similar arc becoming vanny but also so different. she would be manipulated while shes alone hurting and believing she was betrayed with abandonment issues and taken advantage of. vanny would be using her as a vessel, so theyd have to get her out of cassie to kill her for good.

and if Gregory had to find out about ggy at this point, itd be a big deal but also truly make that connection between cassie and Gregory. no matter who cut the elevator Gregory would feel at fault because he either did it or wasnt fast enough to stop cassie before it happened. so he would have to confront condemning cassie to the same fate his family and now apparently HE went through and that's his best friend man. and also not to mention the concpet of vanessa and cassie of course

Things I want to see in the Help Wanted 2 DLC (or in a future game or book)

I'm going to comment on all the things that I would love not to be left up in the air. I think these have a lot of potential and it would be a shame to waste it just like that.

Gregory as GGY: This is one of the ones I'm most looking forward to seeing since it's almost confirmed that Gregory is GGY. But why do I say that it is almost confirmed? Because it has not yet been clearly stated that it is him, although there are many clues that can confirm it.

These are: GGY story from Tales from the Pizaplex where Greg is described as Gregory and it is implied that he is GGY; Security Breach CDs that are related to the story since GGY is patient 46; the canon ending of Security Breach being that of Princess Quest since Gregory, having been GGY, was able to complete the minigames that were impossible for others to do; a discarded phrase of Freddy telling Gregory that he remembers him from… (it is unfinished so many said that this phrase was because Freddy had a soul but with the release of the GGY story this changes since Freddy is the companion of this); that in Freddy in Space 3 Gregory is a boss, is in Freddy and throws retro CD as a weapon; and that Vanessa at 6 a.m. Tell us that she has a gift for us, this being a retro CD.

For all these things I think it would be incredible if they confirmed it 100% and then we would also have more things about him. We might even know how he fell under Glitchtrap's control and how he broke free. In addition to having mentions of Tony and Ellis and knowing if they are alive or not.

Explanation of the VANNI network: I am a super fan of the concept of the VANNI network and how the mask that is given to us in Ruin and that we have again in Help Wanted 2 can create this reality or transport our body to this semi-digital world that is the AR (depending on how you think the mask works, it will be one or the other). I say that it is semi-digital as it is AR and it is not completely independent of reality since it is not as different from it as VR would be, which would create a scenario from scratch.

Other things I would like to know about this are: how it was created or if it has always been there, how the laws work in that reality, how is it possible that a simple mask allows us to pass through tangible objects such as doors, walls, how can we teleport from one place to another? place to another crossing portals that exist in this reality…

In addition to all this, I would like to know who created this mask since it is called "Security Mask" and according to Helpi it is a mask that Class V technical Fazbears can use, plus Helpi himself seems to be Fazbear's creation to help technicians. However, this is not that simple because if it is the work of Fazbear, why would it be in the form of Vanny's mask? Vanny created his costume and Help Wanted 1 mask based on this? But this couldn't be this since Help Wanted 1 is supposed to happen before Security Breach and not at the same time so Vanny's mask was already there before the Pizzaplex. What does all this mean? I don't know but I would love for it to be explained.

Another thing that reinforces that there is something wrong with Helpi and that Fazbear may not even have created it is the ending "Helptrap" of Help Wanted 2 where from what I understand Glitchtrap hides in Vanny's mask to avoid being eliminated from the game. all and this with the fact that Helpi changes his eyes… Although the latter can also be used in favor to say that Helpi is Fazbear's creation and that Glitchtrap is only present in him when his eyes change to orange. Either way, it's something I'd love to see addressed in the future.

Mimic: This is the new antagonist of the franchise and, although many of us hail him, many others hate him (in fact, I hated him at first). One of the reasons why he is not loved as much as others is that his existence is left quite up in the air. I'm not talking about the books since they describe very well the origin and evolution that led him to be what he is, but in the games we are barely given any information about him. I think it happens to him in a similar way to GGY, who is similarly criticized by many. Seeing a character change without even an explanation is a lot for people who don't like reading books (not my case but I know people who do).

And it's a shame because many say: "he is an extremely boring character who only imitates" when they themselves have not read the books. And be careful, I'm not saying that this way of thinking is wrong (everyone has their opinions and they are equally valid as others) but that if more information about Mimic was added to the games it would teach these people that he is one of the villains. most complex that we have in the saga.

In addition to all this, I would like it to be confirmed or denied if he is Glitchtrap and Burntrap. I sincerely think so but I respect all the people that these two characters are William Afton (as I said before, one opinion is equally valid as the other).

Cassie's Fate: Cassie is without a doubt one of my favorite characters: I love her personality, plus in Ruin she wears the VANNI rather called the "Security Mask". Truly she is very brave to enter the ruins of the Pizzaplex alone to save Gregory but it was of no use since she was deceived and fell under the clutches of Mimic. However, we don't really know what happened after what many people believe (myself included) to be the canon ending. Cassie went to the elevator, got on it and in the end it was pulled by Mimic or Gregory (personally I think it was Mimic and I'll explain why). Finally, after the credits we hear Roxy's voice saying Cassie's name.

This is why I have put her in this post and I would love for it to be explained what happened to her and what the canon ending she took is.

I take this opportunity here to point out again a theory that I share and that is that it was Mimic who threw the elevator to turn Cassie against Gregory and thus turn her into "the lying child" from Candy Cadet's story from Help Wanted 2. This would be incredible since it would open the door to, as I already said in the post that Gregory deserves to be the protagonist again, for Gregory to return and this time remembering his GGY stage so we would have several things. On the one hand we would know what Cassie's fate was after Ruin and on the other we would have more information about GGY.

Identity and fate of Cassie's dad: From the beginning of Ruin we are focused on this character, telling us that he was a technical Fazbear from the Pizzaplex, but it was not until we obtained several AR objects that we found out that this character's favorite character It was Bonnie, who knew what happened to Glamrock Bonnie and that it seems that he is no longer alive because Cassie speaks in the past tense about him.

Many people thought that it was not at all an unimportant fact that Bonnie was his favorite and that she had been in the Freddy and Friends on Tour era and they wanted to look for some character in the past that coincided with these characteristics. They searched and searched until they found the Bonnie Masked Bully from Fnaf 4 and from there the theory was born that Cassie is the daughter of this character (which I find very curious and interesting)

However, in the evidence that is given to say that this is the identity of this man, the Faz-wrench code is never mentioned since this is the purple code in reverse. I personally am not a big fan of the fact that she is the daughter of an Afton but I find it a very curious detail.

Finally, point out that it may be that in Help Wanted 2 we are him. I am 50% with this theory since being a GGY lover and wanting him to appear in a game I would love for us to be GGY but I don't rule out this theory either. In both ways Help Wanted 2 ends with its DLC, I will like it. Of course, if GGY does not appear in this DLC, I ask and pray that I do so in the future.

For all this is why I would love for the topic of Cassie's dad to be touched on in more depth and confirm or deny whether he is the protagonist of Help Wanted 2 and if, as many theorize, he is the Mask Bot that gives us gives the mask in Ruin.

MXES and its origin: This is without a doubt the character that surprised people the most when Ruin came out (including me) since when the trailer came out we all thought that he was Glitchtrap and that in Ruin we were going to face Glitchtrap using the Vanny Mask. However, this conception of the character changed at the end of the game when it is revealed to us that he was not Glitchtrap but a security program designed to keep Mimic trapped and that he was chasing us because he was doing his job of preventing him from escaping.

This is one of my favorite Ruin characters and I'm very curious how Gregory created this antivirus. We know it was Gregory since the mission of MXES according to Gregory is to keep him trapped and this was 100% said by Gregory since it was before the interference. So he knows about the functionality of this program and since in the story of Candy Cadet de Ruin it is made clear that Gregory trapped Mimic in the sinkhole so he created MXES.

Another thing I would like to know is what the letters that make up his name mean since it seems to have a meaning like VANNI does.

Finally, mention what makes me most curious about MXES and that is its appearance. Why would Gregory choose to make the security program look like a rabbit? Well, what many think (including me) is that after the end of Princess Quest Vanessa told Gregory about Mimic and together they went to the sinkhole to catch him. It is said that Vanessa used a part of what had been Glitchtrap to create it and that is why it has the same poses as Glitchtrap, it is a rabbit and the security nodes are in the shape of a rabbit.

More information about Fazbear Entertainment: After explaining why I consider Fazbear Entertainment as one of the villains of this saga, I think it's time to talk about what I would like to know. I would love to know how the company was born and why it became so corrupt; who is the CEO of the company currently; why the hell did they think it was a good idea to build the Pizzaplex on top of Fnaf 6 (we know it's for money since they wanted to make Fnaf 6 a museum but there might be something else); Whether or not they were the creators of the Security Mask…

All of these things are things I would love to see addressed in the Help Wanted 2 DLC and future games/books. Before I go, I should mention again that this is my personal opinion and that if you have a different one, that's fine and I respect it because all opinions are respectable.

Why do they call him Helpy and not Helpi?

In one of the leaked sheets of Security Breach Files 2 Helpi is mentioned and instead of putting it with an "i" it is put with a "y".

Why is it still the exact same page?

Security Breach Files 2 has just been leaked before its release since some bookstores are already selling it. There are interesting pages in this one but there is one that remains the same, that of Burntrap. Why is it still the same if it is supposed to be updated information?

Source where I get the second one:

One is the first Security Breach Files and the one below is from Security Breach Files 2. They are identical so it is once again reaffirmed that Bruntrap is William Afton. But why do this when literally the Mimic twist was that Glitchtrap and Burntrap were this new antagonist? Why not change this now that Mimic has been in the fandom for quite some time?

Don't know. Honestly there are two possibilities. The first is that William Afton really is Burntrap and Glitchtrap which makes no sense since William is supposed to have died in the Fazbear Frights. And the second is that it has the already common errors of the compilation books and that they are corrected in the future.

PS: There is a possibility that it will be corrected or changed during the launch since in Tales from the Pizzaplex things have changed slightly from the leaked version to the one that was released on the market. But this is not at all an unimportant fact.
