My design for William Afton/"Dave Miller" from FNaF 2. I also wrote a story for it that will lead to a much larger and fullest SAVETHEM story later!

Dave had come to like being a night guard. While he was given a flashlight, he never used it. Dave enjoyed being invisible, hiding in the darkness. It wasn’t quite like it, but he had done something similar two years ago. The reminder brought a smile to Dave’s face.

Dave didn’t know what to expect when he had faked his application. There was an initial worry of being recognized, but he brushed that off immediately. Dave’s previously robust appearance was gone, replaced with a thin and unhealthy body. His features were ill and tired. Dave knew this came off as off-putting, but he also knew how to act. The role was an inadequate man who had found himself in hard times.

Concocted at a moment’s notice, Dave Miller was born. The fools at Fazbear Entertainment ate it up. As far as they knew, Dave was nothing more than an idiot night guard sitting around at his desk. It was insulting. Still, Dave was able to be inconspicuous. He could watch over and monitor the animatronics in peace. That was all that mattered.

There was a faint rattle from the opposite side of the building. Dave listened as he heard a few more. Is Charlotte waking up? he thought as he checked the monitors. The music box was still. Dave left the office and made his way down the long hallway leading to the party rooms. He reached the main hall but stopped at the door leading to the dining room. Whispers. People were breaking into the pizzeria. The day shift guard, Bob, had warned Dave of a suspicious group of teenagers hanging around the pizzeria a few times during the week.

Dave thought of how to approach them. He could quickly shift back into the inadequate act, scare them off by threatening legal action. Perhaps accuse them of possessing drugs or partying? Then, Dave looked back towards the narrowly opened Parts and Service door. He knew there was a spare suit in the back. The animatronics weren’t active yet.

A crooked smile formed across Dave’s pale, poorly shaven face. A new experiment was about to begin.

My Michael Afton designs. I used the movie and my own headcanons for his age. The Zombie Mike stuff I wanted to dive into his living in shadows plot that was ultimately barely relevant and basically turn him into a rumor/hoax. The design is inspired by Archie Carter from the Bendy franchise with an added hood cuz they're cool.

I usually let the fucking book and modern lore hate go but this is a post I won't ignore. It was never once confirmed that Afton started killing as a result of CC/BV. I've always felt that William killed Charlie first and his motivation was just jealousy towards Henry. Pretty much what The Silver Eyes had said.

As for the gas, I get the complaints but Sister Location did kinda hint at it? It's weird but I like it. It's made more weird in my eyes when we see illusion discs be used in Help Wanted (story) so we know they exist in the games.

Dittophobia (the new tales that "explains" fnaf 4) is so awful. I know we've been going down a steady slope for years where fnaf has been forgetting/not caring about its own lore, especially noticeable with the encyclopedia. But this was like the nail in the coffin 😭. They literally got rid of William's whole catalyst for everything if he was apparently experimenting on children before CC even died. Not to mention how ridiculous the hallucinogenic gas is when illusion disks already exist and fnaf 4 is best explained as literally being a nightmare from CC or Michael.

William's literal catalyst for everything 😭. I just can't get over this. like. I like villains that are evil just to be evil as much as the next guy. But you can't just do that to an already established villain with lore I'm losing my mind over here

Not sure where you're getting the idea that CC was the reason William was killing kids. FNAF 3 implies he had already kidnapped/killed one child from the original Fredbear's from 1983ish, which would've been before FNAF 4.

That said, the gas explanation is pretty questionable. Mostly because I can't think of anything that hints at it anywhere in FNAF 4, and it doesn't make much sense when the illusion disks were already established in the series.

I've gotten back into the game after a short break due to my controllers fucking up and seeing all of the new little critters and fish around is very fun.

I only just bought Animal Crossing recently and I'm having too much fun catching and learning about all the bugs. Like, they're seasonal and time based and there's so many with different spawn requirements and there's fucking WEEVILS and you can have them in a museum and the butterflies and beetles will just chill out in the open it's so fascinating to me to see how the game handles their behavior

I have Animal Crossing New Horizons but I haven't started playing it yet and I gotta say, I'm irrationally excited for the bugs
