OOC: I have decided that this blog is going to be a multimuse blog!!!
Arganan will remain as the main muse, but Asthar and Zesha will be active on this blog from now on. Expect some major updates in the next while as I’m changing this blog around a bit. I’ll probably keep the current url to reflect the fact that Arganan is the main muse here. :)

Zesha sighed. “I don’t think I’ve told you this before, but...I’ve worked with stunning devices—nothing like itching powder, but they were still used against enemies to distract them. It got awkward using them once past allies of mine started using them as practical jokes. That’s why I haven’t used them in a while...”

IMPORTANT PSA
Okay, so I officially know my schedule for the Fall Term, starting in September! (My timezone is EST if anyone is wondering what I mean by morning, afternoon or evening.) Here it is:
Monday I’ll be more likely online in the evenings overall.
Tuesday is a day where I’ll likely be online in the evenings and potentially the afternoon, depending on what I need to get done first.
Wednesday is a day I’m likely not online AT ALL, because I have a work shift in the evening after my classes unfortunately. :(
Thursday is a day I’m much more likely to be online in fhe afternoon AND evening, as I only have one class that day. XD
Friday is the day I’m likely to be online for sure. Unfortunately, I can’t do any replies in the afternoon due to a work shift but I can access them in the mornings and/or evenings.
As for weekends, I should be able to write replies whenever I can, but they may or may not be sporadic depending on how busy I am with things.
In conclusion, I’ll probably write most replies from Thursday to Sunday, and not write a lot on Monday to Wednesday.
Starting September 1st, 2018, blog statuses will be the following:
@pinkpompomsandkatanas will remain the most Active out of all active blogs. Meaning, this blog will take priority over all others in terms of RP replies and such.
@adeadlysong and @exorcistofgrace will be on Semi-Hiatus/Semi-Active. Replies will be gotten to, but on a slower basis.
@meisterkirisaki (this blog) will be on Low Activity. Aka, you may only get replies from this blog about once a week or so. I may even put it on hiatus, depending on circumstances.
@countarganan, @generalxasthar and @westwingeastwing will be on Hiatus. All threads on both blogs will be either dropped or just put on pause until I bring them out of hiatus.

It couldn’t be. Nothing coming out of his mouth seemed contrived, and there wasn’t an ounce of mockery in it. He was telling what he believed to be the truth. But how? How could there be Undead of any kind?
Belle knew magic existed, had seen it in many forms, so perhaps it was hypocritical to refuse to believe in this of all things. Perhaps it was more the fear of such things that challenged the belief.
But not for long. Belle gasped sharply and whipped around when the growl came – with the subject matter she and Zesha discussed still hanging, and then that terrible, menacing sound – oh but she was horrified to see what it came from.
This was impossible, this was unreal, this was– Well, it was just the proof she needed. The threat was very much alive and real, and the fact that it made it inside the castle, past its defenses, past the guards, made her blood run cold.
She took slow steps back, keeping her eyes on the monster that had entered the room. Each step was shaky, delicate, as though her feet were struggling to support her, but she kept moving, and nodded when Zesha instructed her to get a weapon. It was then that she hurried herself, and turned to the rack, looking over the weapons it held. She was so frighteningly out of her depth. But another growl alerted her to the threat she and the king faced, and so she reached for a sword that thankfully wasn’t as heavy as those she had seen in her past. Long and thin, it was manageable, and Belle tried to get her thoughts straight as she held it lowly before her.
“Zesha…?” she fearfully called, tearing her eyes off of the Undead intruder only for a moment to look at the warrior king.
Zesha didn’t answer, looking to her briefly to see that she was now armed with a sword.
“Good choice.” He managed, looking between her and the Undead. The Undead being, in the meantime, sauntered a little closer, albeit slowly. “Looks like we have a lone one. And it’s not one of those types that will bite and infect you, either. Even if you get scratched, it won’t be bad...”
If anything, it wasn’t much better than a training dummy. Zesha backed up one step, then another, keeping his own sword pointed at it in case.
“You need to aim for the neck. Decapitate it. Alternatively, slash its head hard enough. Do you want to try, Belle?”

“…Undead?”
Her brow shot up in surprise, and Belle tilted back on her heels with the gravity of what she was being told. “Undead,” she repeated, weighing it in her mind, trying to make sense of it.
It seemed ludicrous at first. She had read and heard legend of the undead, of course; had heard tales of horror and carnage, but she hadn’t seen any evidence for herself and surely… Surely such creatures didn’t truly exist. There had to be a logical explanation that reasoned away what actually happened, and people blamed a legendary monster for the destruction when they didn’t know what else could be responsible.
“What manner of Undead? The, uh… Blood drinking kind or… Flesh eating kind?” She posed the question as delicately as she could, a solemn look of concern settling on her face, though her reluctance to believe in such things was still there. These things couldn’t possibly be real.
She couldn’t refute his request under the circumstances. Belle was familiar with the terminology used – ‘trace evidence’. That likely meant someone had been found dead, or severely hurt. And if someone or something was wandering around and committing such acts, she did not wish to be in its path. Although she did wonder about what was happening.
“Yes...Undead.” He repeated, nodding once. Inhaling slowly, he listened to her question. “They are the flesh-eating kind, unfortunately, which makes them even more dangerous. There is also the possibility of having skeletal warrior-type Undead, which are a much more common type of Undead, accompanying them as well.”
He’d dealt with a lot of Undead...many times. More than he hoped. He and his late brother had been lucky to not get hurt, but he could recall a good number of soldiers that fell at the hands (and jaws) of the Undead. It wasn’t a fate he wished on anyone, let alone his worst enemies (and that was really saying something, given his previously-seriously-harsh hatred for humans).
Before he could say anything else, a guttural growl came from the entrance to the room. Zesha’s gaze shot towards the source—and he immediately grabbed a spear, pointing it at an Undead that just sauntered into the room.
“How—!?” How did they get into this area of the castle, or the castle itself?
“Belle, grab a weapon from the rack—remember how we previously discussed combat? Here’s your chance for experience.”
